"It was a gloomy second weekend at the Union Station Farmers Market, but despite on-and-off showers throughout the morning, Denver locals weren’t dissuaded from coming out to support the growers. There was excitement over the Boulder County Farmers Markets deciding to launch in May this season instead of June like the last two years. Now in its third season, the downtown Denver market has several vendors returning, displaying and selling produce along with other edible goods. Local farmers share what they’ve grown and local restaurateurs sell baked goods and warm to-go food items. While perusing each booth, market-goers may even get the chance to bump baskets with a chef or two — this is, after all, where many of Denver’s seasonal menus are inspired." - Lucy Beaugard

Google
Just okay. It has great potential but not a lot of farm vendors and the ones they had were skimpy. No flower vendors at all. No food trucks. The little Mexican vendor has great tamales though. One guy playing a guitar which we couldn’t really hear. Just not a big selection. I was looking forward to it because of the fountains but I was disappointed. Probably won’t go back.

I was so excited to come here but the vendor list was small. I won't say anything negative as it was all delicious and fresh. The area was clean and inviting

My husband and I stopped by the Farmer's Market at Union Station while visiting Denver a couple of weeks ago. We were greeted by so many friendly people! We purchased pastries from Hinman's Bakery's stand(which were delicious, by the way!) and sat on the steps to enjoy some people/dog watching while we ate. There is a Snooze A.M. Eatery and several other spots right inside the depot to check out as well. It was a beautiful day to take in the sweet aromas of local goods and hear the bells of the trains as they made their way in and out. We love how Denver breeds such local pride, healthy lifestyles, and good vibes. We really enjoyed our time here!

Small but very nice farmer's market. Great location in downtown for people visiting. Lots of great fresh produce and delicious food available.

Google
Best farmers market in Denver. Open every Saturday during the summer months. Lots of local vendors organic and gluten free items

Google
This is by far one of the best Farmer's Markets in the denver metro area. I highly recommend that you stop by and check it out. I highly recommend to stop by the Acres stand as they have a cooler that has some unique finds in terms of herbs and edible flowers. This market is truly a Farmer's Market in that the majority of the stands are produce as compared to the other stands. And if you come at around 10am they have a featured chef that demonstrates how to use some of the wonderful ingredients found in the market and even provides samples.

Google
I go multiple times a year and always get incredible products and all the vendors seem to genuinely enjoy being there. Oh, get the hot sauce from the booth near Snooze and try the tacos from the cart on the North side. You won't regret either!

Very busy kinda cramped into a small space for as many people/vendor's as there are. Can be quite pricier than most other markets I've been to but definitely not bad. Large variety of vendor's for sure can always find veggies.

Yelp
As others have mentioned, this is a smaller market, but I still love the Union Station Farmers Market! If you're coming for local produce, cheeses, salsas, etc., as well as a few food cart options and live music, this market won't disappoint. The limited vendors cover all the bases. Many vendors also offer product samples. The central location to Denver makes this market one of my favorites. Makes for a great Saturday morning activity to grab a coffee, walk around, and people watch in one of the busiest areas of the city!

Yelp
Sad. Pathetic. Very few vendors and almost no customers. + The band was enjoyable.

Christian B.

Yelp
Like other reviewers have mentioned, This is a real farmers market. You will only find true market items here like fruits, vegetables, breads, and other items. No solar panels, replacements windows, travel packages, or political campaigning. The crowd was bustling with life as was the live band playing in the center. Its good to see this type of market with a good variety of vendors in the city.

Yelp
Guess was expecting more from this farmer's market since the list of vendors seemed pretty long. And after all, the location seemed pretty prime right outside Union Station. It was still very fun, but we just didn't find anything of interest to buy :(. We tried a few different cold brews, none of which we were interested in. Loved the chocolate bar little sample but the cost was outside my chocolate desired price range. Tried a fermented tea which wasn't "kombucha". They had syrups you could add to the tea if you wanted to. There was fermented cabbage and beets too...like sauerkraut but i already have my fav kraut in my fridge at home. At least I got a chance to go inside union station while I was there. All these years being in Denver and I have never been there!

Yelp
My friend and I were visiting the Union Station and saw that there was a farmer's market happening right outside of the building. Therefore, we decided to check it out. It's nice that they have this local farmer's market right outside such a popular spot in downtown Denver. Though the market is on the smaller side, it has a great selection of fresh produce, meats and dairy, flowers and some already-made food stands and beverages. Many of the stands had free samples of their products, so my friend and I had a nice time, going around the market and tasting Denver's local products. I would recommend visiting the farmer's market here at Union Station if you're in the area on a Saturday. It's a nice gathering of local businesses offering their goods for all to enjoy. As an out-of-towner, it was nice to see the wonderful assortment of produce grown around the area.

Yelp
Saturdays, 9am - 2pm. Denver Union Station plaza, 1701 Wynkoop St. May 12, 2018 - October 20, 2018. This is a pretty small market with limited vendors. I wasn't too impressed with the available options either. The produce was rather expensive overall. Bought a bin of cherry tomatoes and they had a few less-than-ripe ones hidden inside. The prepared food vendors were limited and I didn't see any options that catered to vegans/vegetarians. Most vendors accept credit cards, FYI.

Yelp
The isn't the biggest Farmers' Market but the location, quality of produce and variety of vendors is what makes me excited to return Saturday after Saturday. It takes up only one side of the plaza outside Union Station but it's spaced and stocked just right so that it never feels cramped or hard to move through and the farmers offer some really lovely produce. Favorite tents include Pigtrain for an iced coffee on nitro, Munson Farms for sweet corn, Hinman's Bakery for a loaf of bread, Rocky Mountain Fresh for tomatoes and peppers and the peaches from Morton's Organic Orchards are truly incredible! Love visiting this market every year.

Yelp
So I was walking out the doors of Union Station about to explore Denver for the first time when I came upon this super cool farmers market! Everything from fresh fruits and veggies to meats and cheeses, you'll find it at this market. And it's not even the quantity of organic goods that makes this market great--it's the excellent quality of it! I took a bite of an organic Colorado-grown honeycrisp apple and loved the fact that the juice was literally flying out of the apple with each bite! The farms and vendors that set up shop here are super friendly and ready to answer any questions about the growing process or vast array of foods they grow. I am already getting excited to go later this year again as I write this review. If you live in the Denver area, take the train into town and check the farmers market out! If you're not from Denver but taking public trans from the airport and it's a Saturday, make sure to catch it at the front of Union Station!

Yelp
Nice place. The local products are amazing. Unfortunately, we're just visiting so we cannot shop to much. Downtown Denver is the most clean city I've ever been in this country.

Yelp
I am SO happy to have this in my neighborhood. It's a true farmers market, with a variety of produce vendors instead of food trucks and sauce vendors like other markets. I've only missed one week since the test market last fall. I buy seasonal, local produce for the week and have always been pleased with what I get. I love the Mile High Fungi folks. We eat delicious mushrooms every week now, in tacos or a galette or an omelette (with free range eggs from the market). I've also gotten some salami and cheese and delicious breads. Such a great addition to the neighborhood.

Yelp
Nice place to check out. We happen to be here on a Saturday so it was perfect. Located right where Union station is. Good crowd of people. Many things to eat. Tacos, sauces, honey, fruits, veggies, etc. ok prices. Cool place to come across!

Yelp
I was very excited to learn that the same people who run the Boulder farmer's market also brought one to us here at Union Station. They really bring the FARM back to the farmer's market (seems lost at all other markets in this city). So needless to say, I'm most definitely a fan after scoping it out for myself. It's most definitely smaller than the one out in Boulder, hence the reason I'm giving it one less star, but there were enough produce stands to satisfy my inner cook and veggie-loving self. You can't really go wrong with any of the stands, as to be part of this market, the vendor should already be held to high standards and exemplify quality. Talk to any of the vendors about what's required to be part of it- I beg of you. Then you'll see what I'm talking about! And then compare to our other markets around here...(and yeah, I have a gripe with the Denver-run "farmer's markets") Amongst the produce stands, I found a couple of great cheese stands. We ended up with a delightful goat cheese from a farm in Larkspur, which was a tad more than what you'd pay for it at any grocery store yet way better quality (and fresher too). What's also great is that there's a cooking demo going on while you shop, so stop to watch and learn (and taste) if you'd like. Oh, and it's A-ok for you to bring your pup along for your Saturday morning produce trolling!

Yelp
What a gem...right in the middle of downtown Denver! I'm ashamed to admit that last weekend was my first visit to the Union Station Farmers Market--two years in Denver is MUCH too long to go without experiencing this market. The whole area is bustling with families, tourists, locals, and more, making for a super lively weekend vibe. This market isn't huge, but definitely packs a punch. There are probably 20-30 vendors onsite with some gorgeous goods, ranging from farm fresh eggs, flowers, herbs, nut butters, and the prettiest produce you ever did see. They even had a gentleman there playing live music for the crowd--a nice touch. There's not much shade 'round these parts of downtown, but luckily this market is RIGHT next to Union station if you'd like to cool off, grab a bloody mary, whatever. As with most farmers markets, most of the vendors are cash only, so make sure to hit the ATM before you arrive!

Yelp
I have been coming here regularly since the market opened. It's small and intimate. I am a little disappointed that it hasn't grown to include more vendors and that it has taken to really highlighting the restaurant located in Union Station instead of more of the outer restaurants. I would give five stars to Corner Post meats - always a home run with great quality.

Yelp
no parking. good food and beverages. very pricey. cinnamon rolls are a must try! Will be back

Yelp
Love this charming farmer's market right in the middle of downtown Denver. Lots of organic food. Not a huge market, but there is plenty of variety.

Nancy G.

Yelp
Very nice. This farmers market I believe is only hosted on Saturdays. Great variety of organic vegetables, fruits, flowers, cheeses, beer. A bit of everything. Nice vendors and great variety of items sold

Jami G.

Yelp
This is by far my favorite farmers market in Denver. It is so refreshing to have a market comprised primarily of local farmers offering fresh fruit, vegetables, and meat. There were plenty of organic options. Vendors were friendly. I am truly pleased to have a market available to buy competitively priced produce and eggs directly from farmers to support the local economy while being conscientious about how my food is raised or produced. It is amazing!

Tricia B.

Yelp
Small, but has everything I want from a farmer's market. Lots of organic veg, meats, cheese, breads with a few fun ones like kombucha, oils and olives. The vendors are very knowledgable and in some cases the actual farmer. That's unusual. A couple made food vendors to cover the hangry while you shop. Saturday's. I wish it ran later, but I'm glad it's here and seems to be doing well. I bcycle or bike with a backpack for fast and easy access.

Yelp
not having been excited about the offerings at my more local farmers markets, i decided to try out the one at union station. i found out that they are run by the boulder group, not denver, and the market organizers tour the farms of the people who want to have a spot at the market to ensure quality. i also was told by one of the vendors that they are charged the least of any of the markets - this means when you shop there you really are giving your money to the little guy. contrast that with other farmers markets where many of the sellers just buy from a wholesaler and resell it at a price that the small farmers can't compete with. the place is all about quality, not quantity - it's not massive. but i feel like the union station market has a noticeable difference in quality - all of the food looks and ends up tasting out of this world. considering how good it is i don't at all feel the prices are unreasonable. through my weekly jaunts there i have been educated on various fruits and vegetables that i hadn't previously appreciated or knew how to select, and much to my chagrin i have now turned into a pblove (check out their nut butters!) addict. i've been telling everyone i know they need to shop here...while i would hate to see it get super super crowded, i can't help but think all of the vendors deserve the business - so go! go!

Yelp
This Farmer´s Market is super convenient and right in downtown Denver! It may not be the largest, but they do have some wonderful produce from Ela Family Farms like the delicious reddish plums and honey crisp apples I bought last Saturday that the whole family enjoyed. My main reason for going to this farmer´s market was to look for some yummy gluten-free baked goods and boy did I find them! I love Crumbles baked goods and cannot say enough about them. My personal favorites are the vanilla bean honey cake, the chocolate beet cake (I hate beets btw but they obviously help make this chocolate cake moist and delicious and I could not taste them in the cake), and the ginger cookies. OMG are they good! So if you are looking for some yummy baked goods, head on out to the Union Street Farmer´s Market and check out the Crumbles baked goods. There are always samples of many of the products and Betsy told me that she uses mostly nuts, fruits and honey to sweeten her gf baked goods which was definitely an added bonus for me. She is not always there, but told me she would be there this coming Saturday. Yay!
