UNION STRAW

Neat little spot. Writing this as I wait for my check. The service was great. The truffle burger was delicious and my wife said the chicken and waffles were some of the best she has had, and I agree. Our server, Ally, did a great job as well.

Our waitress Leah was so attentive and pleasant. We had delicious craft margaritas. Chicken & Waffles and burgers were excellent! The Tater Tots were ridiculous, so crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. We finished off with the warm Kit Kat cookie skillet with vanilla ice cream, so good! I can’t wait to go back!

The food here is amazing! Our waitress, Jeanette, was great and made us feel right at home. Everything was delicious and we can’t wait to come back and try more!

From the moment we walked into Union Straw, we felt right at home. The atmosphere was warm and lively without being too loud—perfect for a casual night out. What truly made our visit stand out, though, was the incredible service we received from Jeanette and Abby. Jeanette greeted us with a friendly smile and made some excellent drink recommendations that really hit the spot. She was attentive without being overbearing and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Abby was equally fantastic—knowledgeable about the menu and super helpful when we were deciding between a few dishes. You could tell both of them genuinely cared about making our experience enjoyable. The food itself was excellent—creative takes on classic American dishes, served hot and with great presentation. The short rib gnocchi was a standout, and the bourbon bread pudding? Next-level. Union Straw is lucky to have a team like Jeanette and Abby. We’ll definitely be back soon!

We had a tab for the private room rented in the back of the restaurant and four of the men from our group were sitting at the bar watching football (as it was a baby shower). They wanted to order drinks and food and put it on the private room tab and the bartender was extremely rude and told them they cannot combine tabs sitting in different areas. They reassured her they would still be tipping her but she continued to give a nasty attitude to them. Was disappointed to hear this. Aside from that, our waitress in the private room was very kind. I ordered the Kama Jama Chicken sandwhich for my meal with Parmesan truffle fries and it was really good! I also recommend their tater tots!

UPDATE: My follow up visit here went very well. I appreciate the response by the manager/management team regarding my first visit. I did revisit again and Kendall my server did a wonderful job providing prompt and friendly service as well as a few good menu recommendations, especially the skillet cookie w/ gelato which was delicious. Thanks again for everything!

Place for friends to go out and eat. Very nice super long bar that can sit about 20 people. Loud atmosphere - great for Friday night out with friends, not so much for date or couples. Good spot to watch sports - multiple TVs behind the bar. Excellent drinks! Mezcal old fashioned was very well made. Food was pretty good. I think they change their menu seasonably so it’ll be fun to come back and see what served in the winter!

My 18 year old son was out here to play some hockey and I thought I would take him out for a nice meal. Read some reviews and thought why not. It's a really nice place. Thought the food would match the reviews and how nice the restaurant was. Our server was nice and attentive. I ordered the candied pork belly as an appetizer. I've never had pork belly before and it was just not good, son had one bite and spit it out, I ate some but only because I ordered it and hate wasting food. We both got the steak that was the special. Very under whelming. Ordered medium rare and got more like medium, almost medium well. Asked for steak sauce, nope. Asked for some house radish, nope. Dude, your steak isn't good enough to stand on its own. I took most of mine back to the hotel and went to the store the next day and got some A-1 and drowned it so I could eat it. The mashed potatoes and the asparagus were excellent though. For a meal that cost over $100 for 2 people with no alcohol I really expect better. I've had better steak at Applebee's. Anyways, if I do visit Foxborough again I won't be visiting this place. I really don't like leaving bad reviews but this deserves it.
