We had such a great experience hosting our wedding reception at Electric Works! The team did a fantastic job getting everything set up on their end and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. They coordinated with us efficiently and effectively, and were incredibly patient with all of my many questions along the way. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful—we used the “Arcade” space inside Union Street Market, and it was the perfect backdrop for our celebration. One of the unexpected highlights was being given complimentary access to the rooftop patio, which allowed us to take some truly amazing wedding photos. We’re so glad we chose Electric Works as our reception venue and would absolutely recommend it to other couples looking for a unique and versatile space!

Fantastic spot with great architecture, lots of seating, and slowly filling up with a great variety of vendors! We enjoyed some BBQ and unique crybaby grapes. I hope to see some more international variety as more vendors come in to all of the empty spots. Came back in early 2024. The fresh pasta place is a must, a long with the pizzeria. Getting some great shops too - the honey place, freeze-dried snacks, fresh hummus, etc...

I can see the possibilities. They need more than food, and for the restaurants to stay open until their listed close times. I've been back several times since my initial post. There are gems to be found. High prices, but it seems that's a result of high rent. Hopefully as it fills in more, prices can normalize a bit. Definitely worth a visit!

I went for lunch on a Saturday and enjoyed it. Free wine tasting and samples. You can buy the wine by the glass or bottle there. You can have your glass while you shop. Free honey samples as well. There’s Korean, Mexican, Amish goods, pizza, meat/cheese boards, ice cream, and other Asian cuisines. Plenty of seating downstairs as well as the second floor.

The outdoor space is really neat but I don’t think they utilize it like they should. We went for bike night with a band and it was the busiest I’ve ever seen this place. They should do live music once a week with fun food and drink specials

Visited Union Street Market for the Indy 500 pre race event with my son and his two sons. We had a very enjoyable time at this event.

We've been here several times and everyone in the shops are super friendly and there's such a variety to choose from. We love it. The design of the place is exemplary. It's always clean and captivating. The food and drinks we've enjoyed from the various places have always been tasty and well prepared. I have also found some beautiful trinkets and other items from the pop-up weekend vendors in street-fare style booths set up in the middle isle between the West and East Halls called Dynamo Alley. We're so excited about the growth we've seen here and are looking forward to joining that growth with our own business adVenture soon. Don't wait for us to open, though. Go experience this place for yourself. You should find something you enjoy whatever your tastes are.

Hooley farm was there with a few horses for kids to ride and a couple donkeys to pet. It is great experience to go to during the summer.

Yelp
This place is amazing. We visited on a Friday evening and tried to visit as many of the vendors as we could. First, we got kids meals at Buyamba Sandwich Company, located in the west hall portion of the market. Kids meals are either a turkey and cheese sandwich or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, plus chips, fruit snacks and a Capri Sun. Pretty much everything that a child could want for a meal, and my kids were more than satisfied. Next, we got a couple of drinks at The Charlie Horse, one of the bars. They have Sun King beer on tap, but I think that was the only local beer. It's difficult for me to pass up Korean food when I see it, so I decided my meal would be bibimbap from Seoul Garden. I got my bibimbap with beef, a lot of gochujang with a fried egg on top. The vegetables were cooked but still crunchy, and everything was great. We also got a burrito from Pikoso, and that was great, too. I don't have much to say about it because I didn't get to taste it, but I was told it was tasty. Lastly, we got scoops of ice cream at Local Apple Cart, which is a little stand that makes its ice cream with locally grown fruit. I got a scoop of vanilla and the blueberry ice cream, which was super purple and vibrant. A couple of things to note: There's one pizza joint in here (Johnny Ox Pizzeria) and they only sell pizza by the slice during lunch, and full pizzas during dinner time. That was a bummer because we really wanted a slice, but we were foiled. The pizzas are huge, too. Most of the merchants in the east hall were closed, which was a bummer. These included the fresh food market, a seafood and meat market, and an Amish deli and bakery. I was kind of surprised that they weren't open on a busy Friday, but so it goes. When we visited, there was a trivia game going on, which was neat. There is so much seating in this food hall. We sat upstairs, where we could get a good view of the bustling happenings down below. There are tables, but also chairs and a few couches. The lighting is nice and mellow, too, but the noise can get overwhelming because the hall is very tall and the sound carries. Plus, there was music playing, so it was pretty loud in there. At the entrance, be sure to look around you -- you'll see some really cool murals on the walls.

Yelp
Fort Wayne should be proud of Electric Works! It's a beautiful building, and has a lot to offer. We tried a few places, and noticed that some were closed. We were there at dinner time in a Friday. This was a little surprising. I had a delicious coffee at Gibli, give it a try! We also tried Brooks' BBQ. It was _ok_. I really wanted to love it but a few things detracted. The fries were very soggy, the ribs were a little tough and the rib tips were super bony. Sauce was tasty, and the food was hot. We waited quite a while, and then we're scolded for trying to take some napkins. That being said the worker gave us as many as we wanted but I felt like a little kid being told "no" so abruptly. Food was served in styrofoam, with plastic ware. Cider from Kekionga was great. We had the Farm Dry and Crisp. I sampled the Strawberry but it tasted too much like candy for me. Lots of seating was available, we went upstairs. Everything was clean and nice. Parking was easy, and free in the nearby garage. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Overall a great place.

Yelp
Bit overhyped by Wane TV. Less than 20 restaurants many of which have already closed. The environment is nice but why drive to crappy part of town for a shopping mall food court? Granted the food is good but nothing special. And concrete is everywhere so no nice place to sit. Chalk it up to bad marketing. Sorry. Really bad marketing and poor managerial business decisions. Will be converted to office space when rest of place is full. Feel sorry for Do It Best who left a nice facility for this place.

Yelp
Union Street Market is a great addition to the Fort Wayne downtown scene. On this occasion we only experienced the eating area and outside street. We did not get to use the parking garage or the shopping areas. The outside is very attractive and keeps the flavor of the old GE facility. The designers did a great job and giving you an attractive/vintage but modern feel with the brick facades and streets. The lighting is fresh and very attractive. All areas are in great repair as everything is new. The eating area is large and wide open. Lots of walking room and dinning tables. Lots of area to gather in a group of 4 to 8 people. There are several eateries and drinking establishments to serve you. Not a huge variety. You probably should check out the options to see if they fit your pallet if you plan to go and stay a longer time. Overall the place is very unique and a must visit. It will be interesting to see how the facility develops with more shops and condo living. I can see that Union Street will be a lot of fun in the warmer weather as the interior of the building in bordered by garage doors to let the outside in.

Yelp
Great spot in FW. Many options and all the vendors are great. Love the Saturday farmers market outside. Some of the vendors are a bit slow with service, not typically a quick to go meal. Such a great spot on Friday nights too, the atmosphere is awesome.

Yelp
The only food I tried was the ice cream! It was magnificent. I tried multiple flavors and settled on the Margarita (must be 21 it is alcohol infused). The service at the ice cream stand and other surrounding business was amazing. It was as I would expect from a new establishment trying to win the hearts, minds, and wallets of new patrons I saved the best for last - the AMBIANCE !! There is something uniquely special about Electric Works and the Union Street Market It offers and is reminiscent of big city vibes. I was there for a couple of hours and could have stayed longer. I felt at ease, comfortable, and I just wanted to linger and enjoy the space. It's an expanse set of business, seating, and opportunities. I look forward to the summer of 2023 and seeing what the place has to offer!

Yelp
To ok the teenager to Union street market yesterday thinking that there would be little shops she could shop at and I could have some local flair. We found street parking that was close to the walk way by the parking garage. It was around 11:30 and always getting packed! Went to the East wing first where it's mostly local doing of food good such as meat cheese seafood. Stopped at the seafood market called B&B, and picked up some alligator. $25 lb. Pricey but soo worth it. It was fresh and very lean. Quite guy working and they are slow due to only one person helping everyone. Their seafood looked very fresh. Def worth going to. Next we're stopped at the Grabil shop for some cheese. Picked up some smoked bacon cheddar, pepperoni cheddar and bruschetta cheddar all at about $5.50 lb. They also made deli sandwiches. They were friendly and slow as well due to one person working. Long lines at every place we stopped at. We also took a look at some other places but didn't buy anything. Next was the West wing, much more busy than the East wing. As you enter there is Conjure coffee that has a long line and it blocks the entrance. Very congested. Then you see a pizzeria, a brewery, distillary and a few other places to eat. In the middle there are tables to sit down and eat or if you are 21 you can sit at the bar rails and have a cocktail or a beer. FYI it's-a little more pricey than if you went somewhere else to eat or drink so bring your money! It was extremely loud and overwhelming for my teenager who sometimes gets overwhelmed with crowds and today was the day this happened. She started having an anxiety attack and we ended up leaving without trying any food. It's very industrial inside and not warming at all. It has an upstairs where the restrooms are and more seating. I was disappointed that it was only dinning and basically food store places. Although it woukd be a Cool date night night or hang with your buddies or gal pals I didn't feel it was very family oriented. There isn't an outdoor area to enjoy your food uor to have the littles play anywhere like other places I've visited like this. I hope to see it grow to more shopping stores, outside areas to dine areas and areas for selfies, and kids playing. Below are shots of the inside and mural in the walk way. I would like to go again to try some eateries but would leave my teenager behind because it became too overwhelming for her.

Yelp
You go Fort Wayne! Great addition to the city. You can definitely tell it's new/recently opened, as kinks are being worked out and it's not all the way finished. Super clean, good flow to the area, and lots of seating areas! We tried out Brooks BBQ and The Charlie Horse. BBQ was superb. Rib tips, Mac and cheese, wings, and fries...chef's kiss. Drinks from The Charlie Horse were good. TVs are interestingly placed at the bar which makes it hard to see. So don't plan on watching the big game there. There was a Winter Market happening when we went. Cute, quaint market with just a handful of vendors. Cannot wait to see what else is in store!

Yelp
Is it overpriced? Yes. Is it different from anything the Fort has offered? Yes. Only our community will make this successful #SuppotLocal

Yelp
Love this addition to Fort Wayne! Electric Works / Union Street Market is a beautiful place and fun to visit. I spent an evening here with a friend - we had cocktails, played trivia, got dinner, and had ice cream in between wandering the market. I wish more vendors had been open (and I think it was a Friday, where is everybody?). I would love to see lots of local goods and crafts sold here! Nice variety of food options, and generally people were friendly. I especially loved the different ice cream and gelato choices - plenty of unique flavors to try! We were able to find street parking without much difficulty. There are restrooms available (very clean). Once you get your food, there are tables upstairs with a great view for people-watching. There are beautiful places to walk both inside and outside, and art to look at. They have really done a great job renovating this place to be a fun hangout spot. We found some seating in quieter areas too, which would be perfect for studying or homework. Overall excellent spot!

Yelp
Try the ice cream first. Eat some and then take more home. Trust me. Gibli is a definite yes. Fresh salads, I suggest all of them. Delicious meats, pitas, baklava- amazing!

Yelp
New/Modern facility, large variety of cultural food and places to choose from. Vendor employees are extremely willing to help. Prices are somewhat on the higher side, however it is a nice "middle class" experience. The Union Street Market is very beautiful however.

Yelp
Best Atmosphere Fort Wayne has to offer with a variety of great vendors. Check out Lunar Infusion for the Best Kombucha you'll ever have.

Yelp
Not sure why each restaurant doesn't have their own page... went for lunch and had Pikoso Burritos (Flora & Lily) - we tried the carne asada fries and some tacos (Pollo Al Pastor and "Street") - all was excellent. The market itself is amazing. It's a beautifully restored building, and still being filled with vendors. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
What an addition to Fort Wayne! This new market is what our city has needed. Not all of the vendors have moved in yet, but those that have are great. Specifically, I really enjoyed Smash Burger, Conjure Coffee, Brooks BBQ & Chicken and The Charlie Horse (bar). I'm really excited to have this as a place to take my family, especially during the winter.

Yelp
This is a fun little place to stop by and check out. There are plenty of options for places to eat or get a drink as well as some nice little shops for buying things for later. I can't wait to see what else comes to be here and hope to someday watch something in their live kitchen room. I have such high hopes for the future with this place and will continue to visit from time to time.

Yelp
Overall disappointed. $50 for a large pizza and two ciders. Not affordable. Currently there is no real beer option at any of the kiosks, just wine and cider. We couldn't customize our pizza and had to choose between 3 vegan pizzas or three meat pizzas. The bottom of the crust was caked with flour. Not appetizing. The wine tasting kiosk was open but had a sign that said "Be back in 5 minutes" that was up most of the time we were there. The seating is sports bar table style with no backs on the bar stools. Not comfortable to eat a $50 meal on. There were signs on coolers and restaurant equipment stating they were broken. Parking was free because the machines were broken but advertised 2 hour free parking and stating a fee after 2 hours. Lots of things to figure out here. Many other options downtown that are affordable and comfortable.

Kaley S.

Yelp
The food, drinks, service, and ambiance are a great welcome to the Fort Wayne area. Will be back again!

Yelp
first date for some drinks at the bar :) the service was very friendly, lighting and ambiance was relaxing and it was all just so cute lol
