United Club (C123)

Top tier lounge and a reminder as to why I will forever keep my United Club card. I have been to the C123 lounge and number of times but never had the opportunity to take quality photos like I did this morning. Unfortunately, I missed my flight yesterday and since there were no direct flights to my destination I ended up staying in this Lounge from approximately 12:00 noon to 10:00 at night. Then I hung out in the Airport overnight and when the lounge opened at 5:00 p.m. I came in to get breakfast and then and then I went to wait at my gate. I love their selections for breakfast lunch and dinner. I love the snacks, the cakes and cookies. I love the orange and lemon and lime flavored water. They have coffee, they have teas, they have hot chocolate. This lounge saved me lol.

It's a nice lounge if you get it as a bonus for having the united card but paying for it with cash is worth it only for some. It's a nice place to wait for your flight and have some small selection of snacks/food/drinks. The bar only has the capability to make the few and simple drinks. Just as a note, they won't let you lay down your head or take a nap anywhere or in any way. You must be awake at all times.

Variety of areas to eat, work and relax. Food and drink choices were good (see pictures). Not many desserts but that’s okay since I’m not big on sweets before traveling anyways

Contrary to previous report of no sleeping, I saw travelers slept on sofas, taking up whole space. I enjoyed the buffet experience, plenty of vegetables, salad and sautéed zucchini squash egg plants red peppers, lots different kinds of sandwich’s, a cafe bar with barista making fresh macha latte etc

Was impressed with the UC at gate 74 in 2024. There's another UC close to Gate 123 and it is more spacious, comfortable with a variety of seating options and full buffet dining. It also has shower and wellness room. Connecting to wifi was hassle free and signal is strong. Then the bonus, skyline view of the big apple at 🌅.

During my recent layover at Newark Airport, the United Club lounge presented itself as a refreshing oasis. The new lounge was noticeably more spacious and brightly lit compared to its predecessor, accommodating both group and solo travelers with ample seating. The efficiency of the food counter stood out, seamlessly catering to the ebb and flow of hungry travelers. With time on my side, I sampled both breakfast and lunch offerings. While the spread wasn't extensive, the selections were satisfactory and consistently replenished, ensuring no guest went wanting. In addition to the usual coffee, tea, and soft drinks, the bar counter was also open, adding a touch of luxury to the experience. The thoughtful layout and continuous attention to detail made the lounge a comfortable and welcoming spot during my layover. In all, the new United Club lounge at Newark Airport transformed what could have been a tedious wait of 8 hours into a much more pleasant interlude for me.

Variety of food selection and a bar and cafe. The food selection stay the same across meals though. Their staff were helpful and nice. Definitely made my 7h flight delay much better

I recently had the pleasure of stopping at the United Club Lounge, and overall, it was a great experience. The lounge is very spacious, with plenty of seating options, making it easy to find a comfortable spot to relax. However, I can see how it might get crowded quickly during peak times. The cleanliness of the lounge stood out, particularly the bathrooms, which were spotless and well-maintained. The food was absolutely delicious, with a good variety to choose from, and there was more than enough to go around. The drinks were also fantastic, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The staff made the visit even more enjoyable. The representative who checked me in was courteous and polite, setting a positive tone right from the start. Throughout my time there, dirty dishes were cleared away promptly, and every employee I interacted with was super friendly and attentive. Only wish it had was private pods/booths to recline and take a nap. Some of the food looked like it needed a refresh(stale buns) and “overheated” food. Overall, this lounge strikes a great balance of comfort, service, and quality. I look forward to visiting again!

This was my second time hanging out in the United Club by Gate C123 since it opened. I really enjoyed the spaciousness of this club versus the ones in SFO. The open layout, bright lighting and large windows also helped me pass the time waiting for my flight to Dubai. I could even see NYC skyline from the last set of windows at the rear of the Club. Food choices were quite filling and surprisingly decent which were better than what was waiting for me in economy! A healthy Mediterranean couscous salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, arugula, chick peas and Kalamata olives. Pineapple chicken was moist and tender. Vegetable paella with chickpeas and eggplant wasn't what expected but it was decently seasoned. Tomato bisque soup was thick and hearty and reminded me of the version served in Polaris (just missing the side of grilled cheese sandwhich). Crispy chocolate chip cookies were the star and some extra found their way into my bag! Service was almost nonexistent since one just scans their boarding pass to gain entry but at least the food options were plentiful when I grabbed from the self serve buffet. Tables were cleaned quite regularly and once before I was even finished with my meal! Did not checkout or use the wellness rooms or showers.

Of all the United Club lounges, this one is my favorite. It is spacious, has a variety of food, shower suites, and even an espresso bar staffed by a live human barista. I especially like the booths that line along the wall. It is great for getting work done. 1 star off: The only weird thing about this lounge is that the shower faucet handle for hot and cold temperatures was installed in reverse...for all the shower suites! The first time I used their shower, the staff did not inform me of this, so I only got cold water. You turn the handle clockwise a little bit for hot water and a full turn for cold water -- very counterintuitive. *face palm*

We used this lounge for the first time waiting for a United flight out, and it was a nice experience. The lounge became quite full while we were there and the lines were a bit long for the food and bar. They have a decent buffet of salads, soup, and light entrees. The Chicken Masala was pretty good. They only had one bartender minding the bar, which made for longer than needed waits. Overall, better than the Delta or Club lounges, not as good as Centurion.

Glad I got a chance to stop by - Newark is currently a disaster with their runway situation so definitely worth lounging here but expect it to be busy and crowded especially in the late morning/early afternoon. Some charging ports were out of service and some areas could use some cleaning/bussing a little sooner with how many people are here. Great option to avoid the mediocre terminal food and just snack on what you like here! Clean bathrooms and great views.

Always love to use this lounge in EWR. Spacious seats, nice tables and equipments. Hot food is usually on point (eggs, sandwiches, sausages etc). They also have cold wrap, cereal, fruits, salad. Many options for drinks, tea, coffee or just water. Ice machine on site. Also a full bar if you need anything. The staff come around a lot to pick up plates and clean the tables. Very nice bathroom. Very clean and you feel like in hotel.

Another decent stop at the United Club near C123. I was here for a few hours right around opening and it was totally packed, pretty hard to find seating. Breakfast offerings and quality were a bit disappointing compared to lunch last time I was here, but still some nice options. I did take a shower between my connecting flights and that was a huge perk of this location! The individuals attending to the showers did a great job keeping everything clean and keeping the queue moving.

I write with a report on the showers at the United Club at EWR. I refer to specifically the facility at C123. I used it less than an hour ago. I was impressed. My use case is unusual. This morning, I came via a redeye flight, and I ultimately am en route to suburban Washington, D.C. I am doing train to plane because I got a great deal using frequent flier miles on the former leg, a price point I could not improve upon with a direct flight even accounting for the trouble I am putting myself to, and someone else is reimbursing for the latter leg. I put in too much leeway to guard against a late flight, and I have an hour plus of hanging out, even after morning ablutions. Last year, I flew 105 times. That means I am experienced with this routine, though I typically do not freshen up at the airport, benefitting from a full bathroom en suite at the office. I walked in. The attendant said it would be a fifteen minute wait. They have an area that mimics a spa. I went outside for a bite to eat -- and, a digression, that was an excellent knock off of a McDonald's sausage McMuffin sandwich. I'd estimate the delay to be less than half what was stated. I only needed to scan my boarding pass and I was allowed in. A guy went by wearing a University of Michigan sweatshirt, my alma mater (professional school, and I grew up in the vicinity), and we exchanged "Go Blue!" exhortations in the proper call and response. The shower was clean, spacious, and had what you'd expect: soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, a W/C, but nothing fancy. The towels were folded up, on a rattan stool. I was glad to be able to clean up. I also am obsessive about brushing my teeth. What is really as important as the shower itself, however, is the respite, a private space in which to take a moment to catch one's breath before facing the challenges of the day.

The new United Club lounge is beautiful and spacious. I think it's the best United Club I've ever been to. Make sure to take a walk around the whole space because there may be areas you didn't expect to see, including empty seating areas and other snacks. The wide variety of food and drink options here has something for everyone, and I had a very filling breakfast here. Even if you can only come for a quick visit, the ample seating and food areas makes visiting a breeze. Definitely give this United Club a visit next time you're in EWR!

Upgrading a bit from the review I posted over 10 years ago! Still not exactly a destination lounge, but now that UA has upgraded the food offerings, it makes it much more worth a visit. I also have to say, the front desk staff has been pretty consistent for as long as I can remember. Familiar and friendly. Pretty sure it's not on par with the American lounges, or the new Chase lounge that's supposed to open any day now, but given the limited number of United flights out of PHL, it's a decent option.

It was nice to be able to sit and relax in the United Club. We had trouble getting in and staff were quick to jump in to help us.

Was at the club early in the morning around 6am. The lounge was so tidy and clean. It wasn't very busy, but the service was at full swing. All breakfast sandwiches were served, fruits, yogurts and other cooked items were fully stocked. All soda machines were working well this time. Loved the strawberry pudding. Staff were cleaning tables pro-actively.

Have been to this lounge a couple of times and this most recent visit on 3/24/24 was great. It wasn't crowded at all. We were there for awhile (over 3 hours) since we got to the airport really early and then our flight got delayed. A lot of seating options and a nice variety of food options. I like this lounge a lot better than the new one in Chicago, where it is always crowded and you're constantly excusing yourself for almost bumping into someone. They have the self check-in lanes which I think is more efficient in getting people in and out.

Date: Saturday, January 13th, 2024 Time: around 3:45pm Party of: 2 Was flying out of EWR at 6pm and had some time to kill. Since my friend and I were flying business, we were able to check out the lounge. This one is a decent size. Tho we did walk around a bit in order to find two seats as we wanted to sit by the bar. They had a modest amount of food offering - soups, salad, sandwiches, entrees such as chicken, etc. We mainly drank so I can't really comment on the food. The sandwich I tried was fine. I think it was a pesto something? The food area never got too crowded or busy, so it was easy to grab stuff. Same for the bar. I stuck to bubbles / champagne the entire time. Friend tried their beers, a bloody, etc. Fun fact. That paper plane cocktail you see in pix from this lounge on Yelp? It does not exist in 2024! My friend sent me up to the bar numerous times to ask different bartenders and no one knew what I was talking about. So great elusive Paper Plane Cocktail, I never got to try you. Cuz no one knows how to make you! I guess it was only circa 2019? Nice place to kill time if you have free access. They have the automatic gates, so you can just scan your boarding pass and get in. Easy peasy.

Best United club so far. I was just at EWR's Polaris lounge two weeks ago on my way to Dubai, this is WAY BETTER. I really loved its deli sandwich section. Also loved the salad and soup bar. All in, a way better version than the Polaris lounge in EWR. I also loved the barista section. I had a matcha latte with oats milk and later an iced cappuccino. I am headed to Brazil in a few weeks. Will skip Polaris (which last time was filled with loud frequent travelers bragging about their trips - so freaking loud - I am a Global and find United business travelers fall into two categories- the subdued ones the obnoxious ones, this Polaris club in EWR attracts the latter) and head over to this brand new United club.

Beautiful new lounge in terminal C near gate 74!!! But, really?! It's a waste of space if you can't find a seat. Many areas are occupied by 1 or 2 people that accommodate 4+. We wondered around 4-5 times... before we finally squished into seats at a large communal table. Food was good. Bar servers were friendly... just not a great experience with no available seating despite not being at capacity.

Stopped by the United club in terminal C closer to the gates C123. This lounge is the normal lounge with gold+ status and you reach it by going up the escalator. You can already tell it is a huge lounge. When I went through with my ticket, it showed a message saying that I could go to the Polaris lounge, which I am glad they did that. The attendant asked if I wanted to go to Polaris as it would be nicer, I shyly admitted that I already went there and they did not have chamomile tea! Walking into this lounge, it is huge. It has a buffet, a coffee barista, and a huge bar. I made a bee line for the teas, and yes! Chamomile tea! Made myself a tea and sat down on a lounger chair. I definitely saw people cleaning up constantly, so that was good to see. I did check out the food, however nothing appealed to me. Only stayed for 10 mins and then left. Very busy lounge!

United Club located near Gate 123 in Terminal C at EWR. Food offering is about the same as the other United Club. It is a lot more spacious with less people in it (probably because it's a bit of a walk from TSA security compared to the other one). Service was great, and staff were helpful. There's an open bar available and also a coffee bar, which I always get a matcha from. The lounge features shower suites for those wanting to freshen up.

There are two newly renovated United Clubs in Terminal C at EWR. For this trip, I was able to head to the one by Gate 123, up the escalator. The other lounge access is by Gate 74 - there's no lounge access for the middle section of the terminal so if your flight is out of that one, it's a bit of a walk to the lounge and you have to plan to walk to you gate, so give yourself time, but it's very much worth it. The space is massive and also gorgeous through and through - it's decorated beautifully with a TON of seating. There's a full bar with bartender making drinks versus other lounges where it's a serve yourself with limited options - plus, there's a full coffee bar as well, which is a great touch! There are limited free drinks, but you can buy things not included in the complimentary alcohol for a very minimal upcharge (depending on what you order). The buffet had a lot of variety plus there were premade breakfast sandwiches that you could also get. Everything was FULLY stocked. The staff was attentive and friendly as well and the lounge was busy for a Thursday at 10:45 AM. The bathrooms were spotless and they also have shower suites as well if needed. All in all a great space that has been beautifully renovated - makes the ones that haven't look extra sad. Will continue to come back here before all flights!

Food and service are great has been a wonderful Improvement in overall quality. Definately a respite from the crowds.

United Club Newark is located between gates C102-C120. This is an older lounge compared to the other United Club located at EWR. I prefer coming to this lounge because they have showers and they have a barista. There are no reservations needed, simply check with the attendant for availability.

This is my favorite United Club I've been to yet. Location: Terminal C, Gates 120-139. Adjacent to Gate C 123 & across from Gate C 130, head up the escalators to check in. Entry: Attendants at the desk to check-in or you can use the self check-in scanner which is quicker. The Lounge: This Club is the biggest one I've been to. There's so many places to lounge- couches as you walk in, I've seen people sprawled out asleep on them. Lots of single couches, desks, there's a huge dining area with plenty of table seating. So many rooms! Lots of charging stations between seats as well. Food: There's a hot buffet that has a fair selection of food. There's also a sandwich area with a large selection to choose from. There's a coffee bar if you're wanting a fresh cup and of course a large bar with plenty of alcoholic beverages to choose from (premium drinks are not free fyi). I love that they have water dispensers you can fill up your personal water bottles with. Bathrooms: Plenty of stalls and always kept so clean. There's also a family restroom and they even have showers here. Service: The are always attendants roaming around cleaning up, very attentive. The food is constantly being refilled. The bartenders are brusque but quick. Overall, definitely a great place to relax at before your flight. It does get crowded at peak times but it definitely beats the crowded gates and overpriced terminal restaurants.

For an entrance fee of $59, $30 if you are in some way affiliated with the military, or free if you are riding with a superior fare, status, or credit card (often carrying a hefty premium), I think it is fair to have a rather strong set of expectations for an airline lounge. While the diversity, availability, style, uniqueness, cohesiveness, and amount of seating spaces and seats are a strong suit of this club, there is little else to positively comment upon. I encountered two courteous crew members, but the majority of my other encounters varied from standoffish to surly. Likewise, it is weird that a bathroom attendant constantly stands right at the entrance of the restroom. Is he also a security guard? A night club spritz and freshen up guy? The food and drinks are highly uninspired and lacking. To say they are nothing to write home about presupposes there is something to even write about. There isn't. If you are starving, efficiency-minded, or eat simply for nutrition, there are salads, lean meat, and soups to choose from. Taste-wise, the sweets are the best but that isn't saying much. I struggled to scarf down the grilled chicken for some protein, but it was as if they went out of their way to make sure it is as unseasoned, overcooked, dry, and unspectacular as possible. The key lime tart and chocolate cookies were relatively better, yes; but when compared to other like items, they function as the equivalent of $0.49 canned soup; with a sprig of canned tuna. I was excited to see a Coca Cola Freestyle machine but that quickly turned to tepid disappointment and sadness when I realized the flavor was diluted and lacking. Perhaps the filter had not been changed or they set it up to deconcentrate. Likewise, alcoholic beverages are depressing and an odd interaction came about in which a bartender asked for my order, looked at me and paused for a moment, then turned away and proceeded to give instruction to another bartender, one of three total who were present, to proceed with my order. I have the intuition that things were said at my expense but I cannot tell in entirety, as they conversed in a different language. The closing hours also differ from what is advertised... or they did when I visited. As I had to catch a flight in short order, that did not immediately impact me. The principle, however, stands; as would it have had greater impact if my flight was later. Suggestions to UA: fix everything I mentioned, and maybe have a pop-up or mini shop that advertises novelties, airline branded rarities, and partner items. Not only would quality of goods experience, but quality of experience as well; on account of increased interest and revenue. Anticipatory blah blah blah about costs. Preemptive rebuttal of "haw haw" and "sucks to suck [that you guys suck]". Recommendation to the consumer: don't go unless it is free or included. There's some goddanged nice lounge chairs in the terminal anyhow.

This review is about the United club on terminal C near gate 123. I stopped by around 8am using my one time passes associated with my United Chase Explorer credit card. The location is big with plenty of seating and a nice view. Food was ok, the standard breakfast options with eggs, sausage, bread and some sandwiches. Lots of drink and coffee options and bathrooms were clean. It's worth a visit if you have passes but I wouldn't pay $59 to spend a couple hours since thrrr are nice restaurants on this terminal.

Ok, so I think that the new United Club needs to start a different Yelp because clearly these old reviews aren't reflective of how awesome the new and improved! This being my first experience in a United Club lounge.... wow... is all I can say. I enjoyed my time here so much that I wish that my flight had been delayed lol. Bright, beautiful, huge, airy... awesome views... clean... huge bar with a ton of options (had a really nice mimosa and their sangria)... tons of food items.. restaurant style seasonal meal... Some of the best chocolate chip cookies I've tasted... and of course, the gummy bears. Friendly and attentive staff. Can't wait to return!

I have had lounge access through the United Club card for several years. That card now costs $525 annually, and the lounge access pass outright actually can cost more, depending on status with United. Since I don't travel for business very often, this card/membership can be hard to justify. I was considering cancelling it when I moved to New York. This revamped United Club in Newark sparked my loyalty to United and to this airport. The space is huge, and no detail has been overlooked. The cleaning is frequent to the point of being excessive. The food is delicious and varied. Sure, I still probably have to run the numbers and determine if this is actually worth the money for me, but recently I visited two "equivalent" "business class" lounges in Frankfurt and found that they were, in fact, in no way equivalent to this lounge. Hopefully it stays this way forever.

Food is ok. LAX has more variety. Service is good. Ambience is ok. Some employees are too loud talking about their personal stuff. They are louder than the members. However, there are plenty of quiet spots outside of the dining area. Especially the little work booths. Bathroom stalls are clean and large. And the staff constantly collects trash from you.

The last time I was flying through EWR, the UA Club situation was a disaster. The main one was overcrowded and the pop-up was a joke. But, now....... What a difference. This new club is amazing. On the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, the airport was a Zoo. I was expecting the Club to be overflowing. But not at all! This venue is so large, there was ample space. I searched for the bar; there were plenty of free seats. The buffet offered a huge amount of breakfast sandwiches as well as other diverse items. This UA Club rivals some of the DL Sky Clubs (SEA & SFO).

Brand new United lounge in terminal C located at 123. The club is located upstairs by using the escalator or steps. Club is small given all the customers. The club also feels tight given layout.

Food was surprisingly good. Full breakfast and lunch. Barista station. Full Bar. Really good beef barley soup!

The bartender with long hair is the laziest person on earth. He does not make a move to take care of customers, on the contrary; he says to the customer to go to him, even thought the bar has 2 clients. Not sure what type of management they have at this club, but clearly, they don't give a peanuts for client satisfaction. The buffet area was messy, food was not being replaced, the green beans plate had literally 2 strains of green beans while the server of chef was standing by it gazing at nowhere. The soup was cold and the empty tables were dirty from previous clients. Discase is everywhere with clients was everywhere. There are so much room for improvement that the first one that really concentrate in honoring service, will be able to add value to the business in unmeasurable ways. Shame on you United, you don't care at all about your clientele.

The United Club at Terminal C near gate 123 offers a touch of luxury with ample food choices. I loaded up on soft shell tacos with a choice of two meats (chopped carnitas and tinga chicken), black beans, white rice, guacamole, and the usual toppings and sauces. I also saw a sandwich counter, salad bar and desserts on part of the buffet line. The deluxe coffee machine offer a wide variety of cafes, espresso and other hot drinks. The cold beverages were served by juice dispensers throughout the lounge areas as well as fountain machine located in the dining room. The wait staff do a good job of cleaning up tables quickly after guests leave. The bathroom was nice, clean and modern. There are shower suites available separate from the bathroom but just beyond that area at the end of the corridor to the left just before you enter the buffet area. I'd happily try out the United Club again, when I get another complimentary one time pass. The annual subscription cost per person is $650 or one-time passes run ~$150 per flight. Too rich for my blood plus I don't fly often enough to warrant the subscription.

There are multiple Yelp listings for United Club, and I'm not sure which listing is for what location. I'll write my review for the two United Club locations we visited here. First, we went to the pop-up location near Gate C93. It was very small and sad. It didn't even have any bathrooms. We decided to trek further down to the other location near gate C123. It was much more spacious and had a pretty good selection of food. I was surprised and happy that they even had showers since most United Clubs don't. First lounge- 2 stars Second lounge- 4 stars

Truly love the new lounge at Newark International Airport!! So many tables, different sizes and shapes, available throughout. Lots of free bags of chips to ensure you don't go hungry on the flight. Good options of hot food such as sausage, eggs, egg whites and sandwiches. Abundant breakfast staples such as oatmeal, cereal and fruits. Coffee, orange juice, cranberry juice and lemon water will certainly keep you hydrated. Lunch includes various kinds of cold cut sandwiches, salad, cookies and brownies. A decent bar for those who like to relax before/after the flight. Charging stations at almost all tables/couches to ensure you are connected at all times. Definitely a great perk to get two free club passes every year if you sign up for the United credit card . You can also pay for the pass. The club has individual shower suites if you like to get refreshed before/after a long flight. Water pressure was great. Mon-stop cleaning throughout the lounge. Great work United Airlines!!

This is by far the best United Club of the 7 that I went to today in Chicago (4) and Newark (3). It is located near gate C123, and not only is spacious but also has the best food. I love both of its 2 soups today: lentil soup and chicken vegetable with wild rice soup, and remember that I enjoyed its other soups such as cream of mushrooms, clam chowder, etc. during my prior visits as they taste good and are not salty. They have the most extensive selections of sandwiches here relative to the other lounges, and the pulled pork in their Cuban sandwich was just very delicious.

This place is so-so. It's like one step up from a food court. The design is cheap and there really isn't any cozy seating. It's loud.

It is very nice to be able to freshen up with a shower at this club after getting in on a redeye. The suites are on the small side. The shower head is mounted with the vertically challenged I in mind so watch your head if you are not so fortunately blessed. The towels are Saks branded. Other than shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap,there is no other toiletry supply. Hairdryer needs to be checked out at the desk when you sign up.

An update for mid 2023... Was here for a Sunday afternoon flight and the club was packed without any seating space. It was worse than Grand Central train station during a rush hours. The food was okay with sandwiches and few hot dishes. It took me about 10 minutes to find a seat and found it hard to relax with all the noise and commotion - and lost my appetite. I hope that United would reopen the one near C90 again to alleviate the overcrowding situation for this one.

Not quite at the level of other European lounges like Lufthansa but this is the best United club lounge I've been to to date. They have an full service bar (free but with some top shelf alcohol for purchase), a coffee barista, and self serve tacos and sandwiches . There are also self serve tea and coffee stations as well as dessert stations with cookies and brownies. Lots of seating , shower areas and bathrooms too. Big improvement from previous United club I've been to in IAD and EWR.

United Club at Terminal C of Newark airport. I think there are 2 of them. Neither one is close to my gate 102. Took me like 10 min to walk there on second floor. They have automatic gate to scan boarding pass to enter. It is very spacious and only like filled with 20-30% ppl. Did not check the food. Just sat at bar. Bartenders were friendly and made good cocktails. Lots of space and big window looking at plane outside. Did not check out the food section.

Starting to enjoy the United Club more than the Centurion lounge. The food is better slightly in my opinion. Stopped here during a layover. The lounge was full but not packed. I was able to find a comfy seat, grab a drink and get something to snack on with ease.

Amazing United Club . I'm based in SFO . This lounge has a good Breakfast selection. I'd say one of the Best in the U.S comparable to Silver Kris in Singapore.. Hope United Club in SFO would be at par with this Location . Entrance it self is high technology

United appears to have stepped up their game at least for food offerings in their Club. The C-123 gate Club in Newark offers as much food as the old "international lounge" It is also quite spacious which can be a benefit in crowded Newark. The bar is one of the larger I have seen although you probably need a good drink after traversing through the Newark Airport.

Nice upgrade, they've definitely made a change from how they're previously were. This one is the bigger lounge with food, showers, bar and more lounge space. Don't go to the smaller one which doesn't have all the amenities.

Great lounge. Thank goodness for this United pass hiding in my account. Traveling on a delay flight isn't fun without it. This place is huge and in general Newark airport is really stepping up on its game. I am impressed. This lounge is huge and food is decent. They should put a price tag on the premium drinks or a menu otherwise it's an odd conversation every time. Ton of space to chill and relax. And amazing view on the airplane taking out.

United Club is such a beautiful lounge in Newark airport. I didn't even feel like I was in the airport. The food and service is top notch and I loved being comfortable before my flight.

The new United Club by gate 123 is fabulous! After a long-awaited renovation, this Club finally opened and the facilities are terrific. Plenty of comfortable seating options with outlets easily accessible for charging your electronics. The food and beverage selection is wonderful: I was there for breakfast and there was a large buffet setup with hot selections (sandwiches, eggs, sausages, potatoes, oatmeal), bakery items, yogurt bar and fruit. The coffee is Illy and you can self-serve at the fancy machines or ask the attendant to make to order. Bathrooms are large, clean and equipped with showers. It's almost as nice as the Polaris Lounge!

I paid for entry into the United Club because I had an early flight on 10/2/23 and didn't want to have to find breakfast early in NYC while still making my flight. I had never been in an airline club before, and said so to the lady who was checking in folks. She said I'd love it. I walked in and immediately deflated. There were bananas and wrapped apples in bowls on a table. To one side there were a couple automatic coffee drink machines and three cereals to choose from. The only milk I found was whole milk. I was starving, so I had some cereal even though I have digestive issues (all were grains - rice krispies, cheerios, raisin bran). Later I went to the restroom and wandered down the long hallway - only to discover an entire cafeteria. Danish, doughnuts, croissants, hot food, cut fruit, and even a coffee bar. I have to admit - I was pretty miffed that they had not mentioned this. You couldn't smell the food up front, so I hadn't realized anything was in the back. I figured it was just lounge chairs or such. I'd already filled up on cereal, so I had a little bit of the fruit.
