I was treated like a dog on Monday at the Louisville airport the lead by the last name of Woods was rude a bullying me along with the other lead that was behind the door that I reported once and she came out yelling and lying!! Had me in tears for 40 minutes took my bag then gave it back, had me at the counter for 40 minutes lying and telling me about the pet policy and she was incorrect, then laughed in my face. I requested to speak with general manager but he never came. My bag was late on the flight I left my dog carrier because I was so upset and this is every time leaving out of Sdf that the same two individuals harass me!! I'm filing a criminal complaint on both employees because United continues to allow it even after they have told me it will not happen again. I even have witness from Allegiant and a co-worker was flying yesterday and was in line and witnessed it and stated that United was already in trouble!!

Our flight was delayed due to mechanical issues wouldn’t make the next flight. I had to stay the night, Louisville. The gate agent did her best by herself, but the person in the picture refused to help her coworker not at all very professional.

Plane was sitting for 4 hours on the runway due to delays, which i get. But to have the plane not attended to for normal clean up is unacceptable. This airline is complete trash, and they dont care about cleanliness. Broken lights, stained surfaces, garbage in the backrest pockets. Barf. If you can get where you need to go using a different airline, do it. This airline sucks

Horrible experience with United today. Flight to DC from Louisville was delayed multiple times my 6 family members were rebooked to Houston and that has also been delayed multiple times and now they cannot get another flight until tomorrow at midnight taking 2 full days from our 4 day reservation. This is the only time I could get my family together for a vacation and United has not only ruined it but has thrown their hands up without any effort to get us to our destination in a reasonable time frame. Insurance was purchased but our rental accommodations are not included. Thousands of dollars gone so far and the only response from United customer service is we apologize. Well I guess SORRY does describe your airline accurately. I ask folks to please protect your family from doing any business with United because it will definitely be one of you next time. #unitedairlines

Rude and also their scale is off so they claim that your bag is overweight when if you move it, the number changes and the staff is asking you if you moved it like you have no right to when they have a scale that is 5.5lb up. And then my luggage is overweight having to pay 200$ 🤡 not gonna mention how ironic they are without even checking their info logged on their system, questioning things and not even apologizing for their behavior,when I have paid extra to skip a line due to personal issues. Also DELAYS is their thing. Almost lost my connection flight from Washington due to their 40’ delay and the next flight was still operated by their company as well but didn’t even care about it. Had to cross the whole airport in 5 minutes with my suitcase. People were in a hurry stressing about missing a 2k worth flight just due to their irresponsibility. i would strongly discourage you from using this company for overseas trips.

The check-in station employees were so rude and unwilling to help. She couldn’t (seemed more like wouldn’t) answer the few questions I asked. I was told to ask the flight attendant concerning carry-on bags. Which would cause me to walk a mile to the flight attendant and a mile back. And… that’s after walking the long line thru TSA. TSA went pretty fast and they were extremely nice.

Morning flight delayed 7+ hours AND I arrived in South Dakota but my suitcase just left Louisville ky 10 hours later. I hope to never fly with this airlines again. Baggage guy at destination was crabby too. Hope I get my suitcase.

Recently (SEP2022) flew from SDF to KOA to HNL & back to SDF. Pro's: All flights ON TIME!!! WTG UNITED !! Will choose UNITED whenever I can. Cons: Let's be honest... no one wants to fly for hours (7) sitting so close to someone / anyone! Con2 - If you want to experience a classed society, well by all means buy an airline ticket. Welcome to max parsing of a group of people down to the gnats ass. Mostly people fly economy. So crowded. Slow service. I feel like I am in steerage. What happened?!?!? Suggestions to United: Take out a couple of seats, charge a little more, make your customers a little less miserable.

No issues getting in our out, gate agents and check in were both friendly. Gate area is large with plenty of room to sit and work. Only issue is they could use some actual boarding lanes as the gates. The gate lousing was out of control.

Overall great trip. Louisville to DC to Lisbon. Then Porto to Newark to Louisville. Friendly crews. tasty food. Comfortable multifunction seats. Service with attentive to detail. The Polaris lounge in Newark is amazing with top notch drinks, an incredible buffet and an area for table service. Very comfortable seating groups. All gender individual rest rooms. The only negative was a 2 hour mechanical delay on our Newark louisville flight. Text messages kept us up to date. Nothing you can do about safe operation. Very highly recommended Slainte

Like most airlines these days - they suck! I traveled globally for business for more than 30 years. After 9/11 things got inconvenient. After CoVID- ridiculous! It's the Greyhound bus of the 21st century. Glad I don't have to do it much anymore. I got home when I expected to, but my bags decided to stay an extra day. Seems like bags like the added value of another vacation day. But I'll blame that on the code share Star Alliance - Air Canada. I will say that the people at the UA baggage office at SDF were very helpful, nice and informative. I got a call when my bags arrived. Thanks to them and it's the only reason they get any stars!

I am normally not one to leave angry reviews, especially on flights when safety is more important than anything else. This trip however, has been one of the worst flying experiences I have ever had. United cancelled or delayed every single one of my flights - 6 total - and they were all in country. There was not support from United customer service, and they left us stranded multiple times. The pilots and staff did their best, but there is clearly a larger issue with United. Spend your money elsewhere.

We just came back from a trip to Ireland. Got stranded in Toronto and our luggage didn't arrive. Went to the Louisville airport United ticket counter and Ada was extremely helpful. She tracked our luggage and got it back for us so quickly. She was so friendly and helpful, exactly why you would expect from a customer service representative! Thank you

Gotta fly with someone. Depending on where you go you don't always have a ton of options. Least internationally but United isn't the worst option. Economy plus is a huge increase over economy. Least state of mind wise. Economy is the plus on other airlines from my experience. Business and first get into the same category as everyone else. This new Polaris is still too new for me to make a call on. But one downside is food. Planes are restocked immediately after landing. Sometimes that means food could be sitting for 2-6 hours before heading out again. Not the freshest. Rather fly United out of Denver than Chicago O'hare or Newark. One terminal over multiple. But you really can't review the airline off of the airports they are in. Nothing they control necessarily. Out of DIA/DEN United is king. Second to Southwest.

I know people who have very strong opinions about particular airlines. Honestly, I've had good and bad experiences on about all of them. My most recent United experience was pretty terrible. But the one before that was just fine. Therefore, I say United is okay.

United Airlines is horrible. Paid 35$ to check a bag. And I had items stolen from the bag without notification my bag was gone through. This is a horrific experience. Do not use them. I would not recommend them and I will not use them any more for my flights. Completely dissatisfied as a customer. Customer service was no help other than processing a claim. Horrible and horrific experience again.

Never fly United this piece of shit airline does nothing but delay or cancel. Got here early for my flight and gave no warning on the flight being delayed. Now this delay will cause me to miss my flight back to LA. They have no sympathy for the for the passengers whose flights have been missed because of their lack urgency. The worst customer service ever. The lady at the desk just looked at me and and kept saying there is nothing she can do. United just needs to go bankrupt and rot in hell.

Took my parents there check in ask the guy to seat them together.. Answer was NO... CHeck in 4 luggages under 50lb each.. He made me walk behind the counter and carry those luggages put on the bell.. This is second times I have to deal with him in 3 months... Very hard to understand him...... Today may 1st 2019 check in around 7am...... Ur need to do something with him....very bad customer service.. Last time he almost got in a fight with acustomer.....i still don't understand how this person still working there...

Dear United Airlines, I really appreciated sitting in the Newark airport for 22 hours! What a fun time! It was so much fun losing my luggage, cancelling, and delaying flights! I also had fun when we had a plane, and the crew to take off but no pilot! Crazy that you couldn't find one when New York City is 10 mins! It was also great when we got on the plane and waited for 2 hours to take off because of a maintenance issue! Thanks for the BEST 30 hours of my life!

United is horrible and they ruined our vacation with their frivolous incompetence. They caused a domino effect of missed flights and blamed it on the weather, as we bounced from Louisville to Chicago to Houston to Mexico. We missed 1/5 of our all inclusive vacation and had to pay for a hotel in Houston. I observed their employees causing the delays when they were loading the plane full of food & snacks that no one wants to buy. Their planes are junky and its only a matter of time before they go bankrupt, especially if they continue to drag customers off of flights. We were promised a $1400 refund by two representatives and all we got in the end was $150. What a joke! I despise United and I'll never choose United again. Don't make the same mistake!

Flying out of Louisville, I did not have any issue with United. Most of the annoyances can get with an airline are across all airlines. The ticketing agents at the check in desk were polite and the gate agent was patient with the slew of people lining up before pre-boarding had even started. The plane was just that, a full plane, so everyone was a little cramped but that's flying unless you shell out the dough for first class.

It started snowing and my flight to Chicago was delayed, but they still had us board the flight only to make us wait an hour then to tell us the deicing trucks are delayed and to be patient then to tell us one of the deicing trucks was broken then to deplane us all together to make us wait hours then to cancel the flight altogether then they put me on another flight to Houston for me to get to Auckland and it's still snowing so I'm wondering what the chances are of the Houston flight actually taking off - they make us wait 2 hours on the plane to just deplane us and cancel that flight also...I then go back to the check in counter to rebook my flight for the NEXT day and asked for my checked in luggage to be taken off he Houston flight and they never did it - I waited 2 hours and they never brought my bag!!! I asked the lady at the United check in counter to check on my bag and she just told me to keep waiting!! Horrible horrible attitude - she should be fired. I ended up leaving and booking a hotel on my own and coming back the NEXT morning for my bag. I spent 10+ hours at the airport and was treated horribly. United has horrible customer service and now I finally made it to Houston and guess what? the United flight from Houston to LA, they boarded us and made us wait 30 minutes only to tell us that there are maintenance issues which require shutting the plane off and deplaning us - and in reality the entire flight will probably just get canceled and they'll make us wait here for hours for nothing. Horrible customer service!!!! And they didn't offer to help compensate me for my time or money. I don't even know how United is still in business to be honest.

I booked a ticket for my son, have a reservation number and the flight was canceled. My son just graduated Army basic training and only has a 8 day leave, they wanted him to pay $1800 more for 1st class. They where rude and not helpful at all and now we have less time with our son, thanks for nothing United.

Amazing ticketing counter personnel! Jasmina (hopefully I spell it correctly) was extremely helpful on gate A12 Louieville to Chicago. Not only did she change my orginally flight up four hours, but was also able to get me out on an even earlier flight via space A. Between her and the other two gentleman that were helping her, United has one heck of a customer service crew! 5 stars all day!!

Thanks to United Airlines, I missed my first day of a new job. I was supposed to fly out at 10am, but the plane didn't get to the gate until 2pm! So I missed my layover and my first day of work. They also told me there were no other flights to get me there. So I spent all day waiting for a broken plane to be fixed instead of at my new job.

OMG - just landed from Washington Dulles. Our gate has a plane in it, the captain said that no one is answering his call and that there is no ground crew to take us to another gate. We landed at 7:30, it is now 7:50 and we have been sitting on the tarmac at Louisville International Airport. This is the most ridiculous situation ever. What is wrong with these people!!!!!!

The gate agent for the 2:30 fight from Louisville to DC on August 25 2015 was perhaps the poster child for what is wrong with airline customer service. She was mean. Internally mean. I was actually afraid to talk to her. I had to though. I went out of my way to try and cheer her up. She was actually offended that I was trying to be nice. Every United employee who tries and works hard and wants to succeed-and there are lots if you- should try to eliminate this type of behavior. It's appalling and should infuriate you.

The United Airlines employees were so rude when I was checking my bags in the Louisville airport. The offered little to no assistant. I waited for over half an hour to check my bag. The employees where helping others in line that got there after me. When I went to pay for my bag the employee made multiple attempts to grab my debit card to try and swipe it for me even though it was a self service machine. Would not recommend flying United Airlines out of the Louisville airport.

Just so you know, this is one of the only airlines that refuses to give their counter number to the public. I had to drive 20+ minutes down to the airport to talk to them and get my luggage back (which they initially lost). There's just something wrong with that...
