Wonderful place to hang out with kids. Our daughters had a lot of fun and got their favorite stuff last weekend. If you don't want to buy stuff or do other things, simply just have fun walking around it also would be nice🚶‍♂️. Parking lots charge different fees, so you can choose cheaper area to park then you can save some money :) 💰💸

Google
It is a very inexpensive way to have a fun time for little cost. Bonus tip : go after 5 pm for cheaper parking. Most stores close by 10, giving you something fun to do for 5 hours. When you want a simple fun date night, the city walk is always a fun option.

Whole family enjoyed every moment that we were in CityWalk especially our special one whole love the ice cream and the newly installed water fountain. This is our 3rd time in this place as we are from Chicago and this is the only time that my son enjoy our stroll around. Nice shops, good restsurants and clothing shops within. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Just visited Universal Studios Hollywood and had a great time! The park was clean, the rides were a blast, and the staff was genuinely kind and helpful throughout the day. From the front gate to the attractions, everyone made the experience feel welcoming and fun. Definitely a memorable visit! 🎢🌟

We went to Universal CityWalk at universal studios because it was very late on a Saturday afternoon around 5:00, universal studios closes at 6:00. We had a fabulous time! Although it was drizzling rain we had a wonderful time. Great selection of retail stores, and restaurants. Enjoy. PS: I absolutely love the fact that it is free to enter. You only have to pay for your parking. And if you go to the movie theater there, they will validate your parking ticket for free. 🥳

Excellent experience. Downside - Very expensive but a good day out. Florida definitely better in regards to size & more value for money. Easy location. Ample parking. Take an Uber & save on parking charges. Bonus side - New ride being built

Important: If you go after 5 p.m., the parking goes down to $10, instead of $35. Give yourself about 2 hours or more to walk around as there are plenty of shops to browse and places to eat, like the second level food court overlooking the Cinema court, were there is a live DJ and fun music to hear and even dance to. You may even be shown on a big screen if the cameraman sees you having fun. You can also find many Universal souvenirs from Mario, Potter, Dragons, and Jurassic to Hello Kitty. Comics figures and plenty of fun clothing ($$$ amusement park prices). There is a floor fountain that attracts children to run thru, so be sure to carry a towel. There are plenty of public restrooms. In the back end behind the Chocolate factory, there is a small store that carries large sizes and merchandise at half the price, worth going in. Overall, it was a nice place to go for all the family and fun spots to take photos.

Yelp
I've already weighed in on Universal Studios, the amusement park. CityWalk, Hollywood is a different place altogether. It keeps the best of the overall Universal theme park concept and has few of the drawbacks. Los Angeles is a fragmented place. People tend to spend time in little niches and there are not as many places where a cross section of our population can come, feel relatively safe, immerse ourselves in an upbeat and almost party atmosphere, be entertained, fed and watered in a nice range of ways. CityWalk is one such place. Now, if you want to avoid the usurious parking fees (they start at $35!), then you can take the Metro red line and walk to CityWalk (it isn't easy -- there will be climbing -- but do-able). Once you are on the concourse, you can just amble around, sit, listen to the music, watch the videos on giant screens everywhere, people watch, sip a beverage, eat something (from snacks to full meals to just desserts and coffee, etc.), and frankly just relax and take a break from all the nerve wracking tensions that everyone is drowning in these days. You can truly get away from it all for whatever time you choose to spend here. The last time I was there, it was a hot day and I didn't get a chance to see it morph as evening and darkness fell. This time, I deliberately waited so I could witness the transformation. Twilight is a nice time to be at CityWalk. My pictures were taken around 5 pm, for reference and we waited to see the stars come out later. All of this can be done, almost for free. I will let my pictures paint the rest for you. I highly recommend this oasis. [For some reason, my photos are not showing up here. See them on my Yelp page.]

Yelp
Always a fun time stopping by City Walk, whether it's on the way to Universal Studios or just for a solo trip to one of the restaurants. It's been quite a few years since I've last been here, so it was fun to see what was new and what was still there. Bubba Gump and Voodoo Donuts are always classics but disappointed to see that Hard Rock and Howl at the Moon were gone. They also no longer sell butter beer outside the park. Came to see a premiere at AMC, my first time visiting this theatre. Was pleasantly surprised by how nice the theatre was and would not be opposed to returning again. With Hard Rock gone, there's now Toothsome Chocolate Emporium. Stopped by to try their milkshakes, and while $20 was a bit steep for a shake, it was decently good. Especially when you can take it to go and walk around City Walk. Parking has definitely got more expensive - $35 to park. Not sure if they still offer a discount after 4pm for cheaper parking at City Walk. Definitely some changes over the past few years. Still iconic but missing some of the big favorites. Would stop by for an event but wouldn't make a trip out of it unless it's your first visit.

Yelp
So lucky to live pretty close by to this place. My bf and I like to hang out here especially during Pokemon Go Community Day or other events because it's an easy walk and lots of people play/hang out here as well. Lots has changed since we've last visited. We were here shortly after the new Chocolate Emporium opened and replaced the Hard Rock Cafe. The comic shop is always a must to visit along with the Harry Potter store, Hot Topic, and occasionally whatever other pop up stores they have. The Chinese restaurant and Mini Monster Boba shop are both now closed which I thought were actually great spots here. We love the Mexican restaurant here and the popcornopolis is a fantastic spot. Overall it's a nice little shopping area and tour spot to take friends and family. They do pop up events in front of the main stage all the time which is great! They recently added Firehouse subs up in the food court which is the best add so far. Hoping they one day add Pokemon to the park and perhaps a little store in CityWalk! IG: @ammysalamii

Yelp
CityWalk is a nice place to keep busy - there are lots of things to do and check out! It is free to walk around, but you still need to pay for parking - which can be pricy! They have restaurants like Bucca di Beppo, VooDoo Doughnut and even Pink's Famous Hot Dogs. They have shops like Abercrombie and Fitch, Hot Topic, Sephora and even a brand new Sanrio store! They also have a massive movie theater as well! We visited recently and walked around wasting time before we could enter Universal Studios for their Halloween Horror Nights. We ate at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen and checked out some of the shops - they used to have a Lush store here, but it has been replaced by Nectar Life I believe. IT'SUGAR is also a fun place to check out! I also really like that they have a Universal Studios Store to buy merchandise in CityWalk so you don't have to go into the park to buy items - they even have a Super Nintendo World Store as well! Can't really comment on the service since this is a shopping area, but everyone we encountered in the shops and stores was friendly - CityWalk is also kept very clean!

Yelp
When I was younger, I used to frequent Universal City Walk because I lived nearby. Although I don't live as close now, I still visit occasionally. My family and I have season passes for Universal Studios, which allows us to hang out here after our visits to Universal Studios. There are numerous restaurants and shops, and the area has undergone changes and additions over the years, making it even better now. If you have a season pass to Universal Studios that includes parking, you won't have to worry about paying extra for parking. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Universal City Walk!

Yelp
There are lots of stores and restaurants. If you can't go to Universal Studios, this is a cool spot to walk around. I wouldn't trust letting young girls walk around by themselves though. I saw a handful of guys watching and staring at the young girls we had in our group. I know that's everywhere but I didn't see any type of security or cameras around. Just be aware of your surrounding.

Yelp
If you're planning to visit Universal Studios, you'll be welcomed at Universal City Walk Hollywood. Even if you're not planning to visit Universal Studio, you can hang around and stroll at Universal City Walk. There's a parking structure but you have to pay a parking fee. The place is quite a walk and you'll be amazed with so many different vendors. There is a candy store, restaurant, movie theater, coffee shop, apparel, ice cream, popcorn, Dodgers store, Ben and Jerry's, Hello Kitty, etc. You can spend a day just walking around and enjoying the shops around Universal City Walk. There's a food court located on the second floor where you can have several options for a quick snack. Once you enjoyed the tour of Universal Studios, you have to unwind and relax at Universal City Walk

Yelp
I love to walk through here ever try time I go see a movie at AMC or just to get out of the house. Theres a bunch of places to shop and eat at, although it can get a little pricey. Regardless, there's a good variety of stores to look at and keep you busy.
google avatar

Yelp
I love Citywalk. I appreciate that there is no fee to enter Citywalk, and there are so many restaurants and places to eat. There are tons of shops, a movie theater, indoor skydiving (which I got to see someone do), etc. There was an area under construction, and there were signs stating that escape rooms were being built. I think Citywalk alone is a nice way to spend a Saturday...if only the drive wasn't so long for us.

Yelp
I had not been at the Universal CityWalk since my college years (95 to 00). From the moment we arrived, you could feel and hear the busy entertainment life. It was really cool today. We arrived here at 7:20 pm, just in time for dinner and a chillaxed stroll around memory lane. New restaurants, stores and cool dance vibes definitely filled the evening. Lots of people from all walks of life were here today having a good time. This is definitely still a good place to get away, especially during the summer days. The CityWalk now closes at 10 pm, so you need to plan accordingly. If you need more time to shop, chill, people watch and eat, then I advise you to arrive earlier. General parking is $10. Preferred parking... Uh.. no thanks, there is really no need. Night life at the CityWalk isn't much anymore, as back in my days, it was popping with clubs all around on the second floor. Today, there are none. AMC theaters is probably the only establishment which will have people after 11 pm.

Yelp
Universal City walk is cool. It's just need more restaurants and a better food court. The service is good but the prices are overpriced at every restaurants. Needs a better variety of food selections. Overall, great place to come hangout out with friends and family especially if your going to Universal Studios.

Yelp
CityWalk at Universal Hollywood is a nice strip of shops and restaurants you can visit while taking a break from the parks, or just for a fun shopping trip. We always stop through CityWalk when we are visiting family in Los Angles, and there are endless options for food, shopping, and even some activities (the AMC Universal Theater, the 5 stages concert venue, etc) Our favorite dining spots are The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium (great Steampunk design!), VooDoo Doughnut, NBC Sports Grill & Brew, and Antojitos Cocina Mexicana! The shopping is endless and you can get some things a tad cheaper than inside the parks, particularly The Super Nintendo Store, and the Universal Studio Store/s. They also have some other normal stores like Lids, Sephora, Tilly's, Billabong, and my favorite - It'sSugar! Definitely hit up Universal CityWalk for some great shopping and dining - you'll get that same aspect of the theme parks, but without an expensive theme park ticket.

Yelp
This place has a good selection of stores and goodies. Upstairs is their food court, it has a good variety of options. My favorite lunch spot upstairs is firehouse subs. Some of the stores offer Lard lad doughnuts. They are made fresh daily and you get that famous big pink doughnut for $10. Definitely a good place to talk a stroll.

Yelp
A Cinnabon from Universal City Walk I put it in the microwave for like 20 seconds and it didn't get soft and the icing on it never melted I did it again still didn't get soft it was horrible one of the worst ones I've ever had those girls that were in there didn't know how to make them all of them looked like that one and that was my free Cinnabon from the app she used it on that horrible one so I couldn't eat it and I missed out on a good one somewhere else very dry and old tasting threw it away

Yelp
City walk is just cool. It's cheesey and touristy and fun. There's a ton to see and do and the experience is worth it. They have a shuttle at the bottom of the hill so you don't have to walk up the mountain to get there that's free. Parking is available at the metro station and through Universal but they both have costs I think. Voodoo donuts were straight fire so so so good! We enjoyed the experience and seeing the home opener football game on the NBC place giant screen was pretty cool. We enjoyed the visit and would definitely return to visit again.

Yelp
It's been about 7 years since I last visited Universal Studios Hollywood. On a quick trip with my husband, in early February, we decided to stop by the Universal CityWalk Hollywood, on a Wednesday, cold, rainy evening. We had a reservation booked for Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen at 5:30 P.M. After the restaurant, we decided to take a look at all of the different shops inside Universal CityWalk Hollywood. Universal CityWalk Hollywood is a great place to take a break from the theme park. You'll find a variety of restaurants, clothing stores, hobby shops, and so much more! Make sure to check the Universal Studios Hollywood website for hours of operation. During February, the hours were from 11:00 A.M to 9:00 P.M. You can also explore some of the on-going events on the website such as Costume Display, Photo Op, Universal Cinema events, Happy Hour functions and so much more! Some of the current restaurants at CityWalk include the following Chick Chick Chicken Vivo Italian Kitchen Antojitos Cocina Mexicana Johnny Rockets Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen Voodoo Doughnut etc... If you're visiting the Universal Studios in Florida, their CityWalk version also has some of the same restaurants as the CityWalk Hollywood such as Vivo Kitchen, and Antojitos Cocina Mexicana! We had a lot of fun shopping at Universal CityWalk Hollywood too! We had a chance to stop into the Super Nintendo World Store, Things from Another World, The Los Angeles Sock Market and a few others! You could easily spend several hours shopping at the Universal CityWalk in Hollywood! There are a lot of restaurants that have unique experiences at CityWalk too! Each store we went into, all of the team members were friendly and helpful! We were always greeted! It also wasn't busy at all during the evening that we went to the CityWalk. I think it's because it was raining out! Prices are slightly expensive though. I'd highly recommend visiting here if you're spending a day at the Universal Studios Hollywood Theme park.

Yelp
This is a cool outdoor mall and it's the walk before you get the universal studios entrance. The parking is very expensive though! There's clean restrooms, restaurants, and shops. Some of the shops they sell the same things for about the same price as inside Universal Studios. I personally wouldn't come here for just the city cat walk because the parking is ve

Yelp
This place brings back so many memories from when me and my friends used to go here back in high school lol. Somethings have changed but most of everything has stayed the same. We visited after a shoot of mine just to do something different and have an outing we haven't had in awhile, me and my gf of course. We took the tram up from the metro stop (just like old times). It let us off at the top of the hill as we get off to explore. I wanted for some reason to go check out the ticket prices of universal to see if they changed, and boy have they! $159 for a one day ticket is crazy! After that we continued to walk the strip and look at the shoos and enjoy the atmosphere. Another thing I noticed was the Hard Rock Cafe is gone. It's now a restaurant/dessert place. Not sure if I remember the name of it. The indoor skydiving place it still there so that's cool. We made one lap around the strip, stopped and got Jamba Juice and then decided to bounce. It was a nice little short visit to a place I haven't been to in a long time.

Yelp
It's been quite some time since I've been back to Universal Studios so it's nice to sometimes walk outside of the park to partake in the food options outside as well as peruse the shops. Universal CityWalk is like the Downtown Disney to Universal Studios. It's definitely longer than I remember. We ended up not walking all the way to the end and turned back halfway through. I do appreciate they have shops that you can get some of the goods in the park so you don't have to go inside the park to get themed items/souvenirs. There's also a lot of different food options if you're not wanting park themed food. I know there have been concerts and events held here which is a nice option. I'm not sure how the parking situation is like as we walked from our hotel. Very touristy, but hey it's next to a theme park so what can you expect?

Yelp
What an iconic shopping area with dining and so much more! As a teenager, I loved going here when visiting Universal Studios Hollywood. Always a great selection of stores, friendly service, and depending on the store the prices weren't that far off from shops back home. The ambiance is so beautiful at night and I was amazed at the variety of dining options this past trip in May 2024! Loved that you could get Taco Bell if you wanted something more affordable or have a dining experience. Shops were also varied which is nice! Definitely working strolling through if visiting Universal Studios Hollywood.
google avatar

Joey Y.

Yelp
This was a lot of fun to walk through. The colorful architecture. The buildings and various shops.
google avatar

katrina a.

Yelp
So here's the thing. It's fun to walk around and shop around in the stores but if you're looking to eat, but on a tight budget and think you should just eat at the food court- not suggested! Food court that has Taco Bell, habit, kfc, Panda Express are extremely expensive. I think it would be most cost efficient to eat at an actual sit down restaurant. Selection of food is vast but expect to spend! Service is hit or miss. Don't expect 5 star service but expect what is expected while visiting a busy place. Sorry- no pictures was taken during this time.

Yelp
A great place to check out. CityWalk is next to Universal Studios and is a free place to walk around. There is plenty of restaurants, a Sephora, a huge AMC movie and several other shops around. Parking is either $10 or $30 which is rebated at the movie theater, ($5 or $25). The movie theater is amazing which is why I go to CityWalk. Place is very lively and full of people, always. Usually, this is where people walk around after they go to Universal Studios.
google avatar

Angel R.

Yelp
I only ever come here before going to Universal Studios but if I lived closer I could easily see myself going here for on the nearby eateries. Staff and security are always around to help find a bathroom or whatever store you're looking for and place is always super clean; impressive for all the foot traffic. Plenty of food options as well as gift shops, snacks, and just all sorts of fun things. Also all the bright lights and decorations (like the big dragon, water fountain court, King Kong, and more) just make it a fun place to be in. A little pricey and yeah you gotta pay for parking but eh whatever, it's cool.
google avatar

Brandi P.

Yelp
City Walk has really changed over the years. There are a few favorites (like the mini doughnuts and crepe place) and lots of new places (like the Hello Kitty Café and Toothsomes). I'd say there is a little bit of everything and for sure something to appeal to almost everyone whether it is grabbing a bite to eat, drink, or even a little shopping. Heck if you areo n vacation and want to get away from the park crowds you can even unwind with a movie at the theater. Price ranges vary, there is a food court with plenty of quick service options and a few sit down restaurants. People are great in general as well. We have not had a bad experience in any of the stores or restaurants, everyone is pleasant and welcoming. I believe you get a break on parking with validation if you are sticking to City Walk but beware time flies and anything past the validation can add up cost wise. Pretty cool spot to wander around, especially if in the area and you've never been.
google avatar

Danielle L.

Yelp
Definitely a fun time to walk around the shops in the Universal City Walk but the only problem is that you need to pay for parking even though you're not going to the park. There's multiple places to eat and shop at. A couple of shops include items that are being sold in the park without having to buy a ticket to go into the park. We actually went to visit so we could buy a giant donut without having to go into the parks!
google avatar

Joshua S.

Yelp
Citywalk! Gotta love it! Especially around the holidays! I came here on Wednesday! I love love love it! From King Kong wearing Christmas hat to the big christmas tree in the middle of citywalk! This is a must place to see around the holidays!
google avatar

Jared F.

Yelp
City Walk is a cool mall like area before you enter Universal Studios. There are plenty of restaurants and stores to go to. It has some gems in here, but most of the stores are geared towards merch that you didn't have a chance to get while you were in the park. With it being part of an amusement park, the prices are what you would expect to pay, and I've never had an issue with the customer service in the shops. DEFINITELY check out Voodoo Doughnuts.
google avatar

Yelp
There's a good reason to visit Universal often as opposed to once in a great while and that's the COST. Tickets are pricey!!!! Parking is pricey!!!! Food is pricey!!!! But if this place hold magic for you, invest in season tickets and get your money's worth!!!! My recent trip was gifted to me and am I exceedingly grateful!!! Considered buying an express pass, but my only options were price tags that made my head spin!!!! The ticket agents are very helpful and knowledgeable when presenting ticket selections, but ultimately, it wasn't worth it. Not for my two day pass anyway. My friends waited in line with me ( since they had express passes, sorry guys! ) but we still had a great time, even though waiting in line for Harry Potter ( my entire reason for living and being there ) was a hellish long wait in the heat!!!! How comes it there are no water misters in the HP waiting line?!?! You better believe I went two days and didn't have to go consecutively, which worked out for all of us. Had tons of fun and without a doubt it was the icing on my summer fun cake!! Universal Studios 60th anniversary celebration, y'all come check it!!

Yelp
Universal City Walk is a must for anyone visiting (or living in) LA. I hadn't visited since I was in my 20s. I decided to bring my teen for ta the experience. She was in awe. There are many shops, people, vendors, music, etc.
google avatar

Yelp
Checked out CityWalk on the last day of our trip! We had some time to kill so we decided to walk around to see the different shops and such throughout the CityWalk. Our favorite stop was the Universal Store. I love that you had access to buy things that were also sold in the park itself. There's a ton of shops with all different themes, so there's something for everyone. There are even some experience areas like a skydiving simulator. So cool! If I had more time and money, I would have gone shopping more!

Yelp
Universal CityWalk Hollywood is a vibrant and energetic place that offers something for everyone! Whether you're looking to shop, dine, or be entertained, CityWalk has it all. The variety of restaurants is fantastic, catering to all tastes--from quick bites to full sit-down meals. The atmosphere is lively, with street performers, music, and colorful lights adding to the excitement. The shops are fun to browse, offering everything from souvenirs to unique finds. Plus, the movie theater and other entertainment options make it easy to spend an entire day here. Whether you're visiting after a day at Universal Studios or just coming for the fun, CityWalk is a must-visit spot in Hollywood!

Yelp
On the way home from Anaheim we decided to take a quick trip to city walk, since we hadn't been here in like 4-5 years. Parking was easy. We looked around and seen that they have a really good variety of shops and restaurants. Wish we would have tried the chocolate emporium instead of Boca Italian. But the emporium doesn't serve entrees until 4pm.

Yelp
Universal City Walk is a must-visit! We stumbled upon this gem during our Spring Break trip and were blown away. The vibrant atmosphere, endless shopping, and diverse dining options made it a highlight of our vacation. The security presence was reassuring, making it a safe environment for everyone. My mother-in-law was so impressed by the pictures and videos that she's added it to her bucket list! Don't miss out on this amazing experience.

Yelp
Universal CityWalk is what you make of it. Just know that. First parking is going to run you $10. You can sometimes find discounts online. There is plenty of parking and people directing you where to go. There is a large parking garage to keep your vehicle shaded. The CityWalk itself is located right next to Universal Studios. So it stays pretty busy, especially in the summer months. There are a lot of shops, an IMAX Theater, snack places and restaurants. If you plan on eating I would highly suggest making reservations. The restaurants are decent here. Some are higher priced for what you get. But considering the location, that can be expected.
google avatar

Sean R.

Yelp
Wow times have changed 25 dollars for parking to enter a ghost town literally all the shops closed no where good to eat no wonder it was empty when I went it makes sense. I'm not wasting my time and money here no more.
google avatar

Tiffany N.

Yelp
Two stars because this is where universal doesn't outshine Disneyland. Downtown Disney wouldn't charge you a full days worth of parking if you were only going to be enjoying restaurants downtown for a couple hours. They would enforce an hourly rate. Universal city walk chargers everyone $30 for standard parking, or $50 preferred. They do not advertise these rates at the pay station outside of Jurassic Park parking. The last terrible thing is that if you're a pass holder , California or Silver, you will NOT get 10-15% off at any of the restaurants here. I walked into Pinks hot dogs and they said "only platinum and gold can get a discount". Walked into Panda and they said "we don't give discounts to any pass holders". I didn't try voodoo donuts because I forgot to ask. So buyer beware when you get a pass. I'm not sure why when you compare the passes it says all four versions get 10-15% at participating when some don't let you at all, and others discriminate based on the pass you have?

Yelp
My friends and I stopped by CityWalk after eating dinner nearby since the Starbucks in here was suppose to close at 2am. We arrived around 9pm and to avoid paying the full parking price, my friend got movie tickets for the AMC there so we saved like 90% of the cost. They changed some things here from the last time I was there but overall it looks really nice when it's dark. CityWalk was still busy after 9pm but I guess it's because most kids are still on summer vacation. We walked around to see what new restrauant open and what places closed down. Mostly all the places in citywalk will close at 10pm on a Thursday night.

Sami D.

Yelp
The fast food restaurants refuse to provide water cups. But they have water, they say you need to bring your own or pay for a soda cup. After spending $30 on parking an $35 at the habit, they refused to give me water. Panda Express was the same. This is greedy and tacky. This theme park closes so early and city walk is overpriced and too expensive to park at. And now refusing people water? This is absolutely terrible!

What a great shopping experience so if there is something you wanted but didn't want to walk around with it all day long at Universal Studios you can get it on your way out!

Yelp
Great for teens and tourists, not a repeat or regular place for locals. Of the places standing today, the Chinese place is decent and the Italian place is good, too. I am not a fan of the fast food joints upstairs, but okay for a quick bite or a group. You'll probably a spend a couple of hours here between walking and eating, definitely more if you opt to watch a movie. There's also bowling, indoor skydiving, and retail shops. Consider this a to-do on your visit to LA.

Yelp
Universal City Walk has a lot of stores and restaurants to visit and it is connected to a theme park too! This is a themed shopping area with cool signs and sculptures around the buildings here. I went to this Universal City Walk area twice during my trip. One was on a Monday around 10:40am which wasn't too crowded when I was on my way to a theme park recently and the other time was on a Tuesday around 5:10pm recently since I wanted to grab myself a last minute souvenir. When I was here, I noticed a lot of the stores were themed too, so it was a little difficult deciding what type of souvenir I wanted, but I still ended up finding a somewhat cute plushie. Anyways, besides my souvenir situation I had, I like how many restaurants and places to sit there are here! They also have a cool water fountain here that just randomly shoots out of the ground, so that was cool to watch and pass time. I'd recommend this place! If you are in need of a souvenir, like what happened to me, then this would be a good place to visit since there is no entrance fee. This is also a good place for food since there are a lot of chain restaurants and also unique donuts here too!

Yelp
Turns out Silver Universal Studios pass is blocked out Dec 24th thru Dec 31st!! Since we couldn't go into park, we decided to go for a walk down Universal city walk. My total shock with parking rates!!! Same as park $32 or $50 valet per day!! Unbelievable!!! The parking rates made me not want to stay!! This is ridiculous!! Unless you get validation from a few of the restaurants, you will be paying that flat rate. So be prepared, it's pretty pricey if you just want to check out the shops & get ice cream. This site would have more locals visiting if at least parking was more affordable. Definitely more tourists destination. It was disappointing!!! I will have to research parking options for a future visit.

Yelp
Cute, colorful, and fun! Yummy food options and a nice movie theater. Not a long walk from the parking structures.

Yelp
Living years in L.A I haven't been there, just my first time last weekend when we dropped my step son and daughter to go to the cinema. I walked a little bit , and I will back to try some restaurants there. If you go to Universal Park, think eat and shop outside in the city walk. They have stores as well with products of the park. I don't know very well v the price of food, but I was researching the menu in some restaurants are reasonable equal to outside restaurants. Dogs are allowed with service card.

Yelp
Very underwhelming. I guess I was expecting something similar to Disney's CityWalk. Definitely not like this. There's a Harry Potter store, some food, some shopping. Looks like there's a place where there might be performances done? Who knows. Either way, one small night stroll and we were good. Don't really care to go back until they add more. The nearby hotels shuttle you to the CityWalk, and then from there you can hang out or go to Universal Studios.

Yelp
There's a ton to see and lots of places to check out for sure! We came specifically for the Dodger Clubhouse but it was cool looking at all the other places on the way to our destination!! From doughnuts, sweet treats, clothing, shoes, other eateries and other well known shops, you can find it all here! Only downfall is the $30 parking fee since it's also parking for Universal Studios.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in LA! I use to frequent Universal CityWalk when I was a kid and had fond memories when visiting. I love that it's an outdoor shopping center with many different restaurants and shops to choose from.
