The PACU floor was amazing after my mom's heart surgery. The 6th floor on Tower 2 was not that great. The night tech got aggravated that she had to change my mom's bed. My mom asked to use the bathroom since her bed had to be changed but the nurse told her to use the purwick after my mom waa laying in a stretcher in PACU for 6 hours more than what she was supposed due to no rooms. My mom had to beg for her anxiety medicine. The day shift was worse than the night shift. No one knew what time breakfast came. They forgot to get my mom breakfast so finally at 10am she received her breakfast & coffee. It was so cold that the creamer couldn't dissolve in the coffee. The nurse came and threw wipes and a towel on my mom's bed, told her she was coming back but she never did. The blinds were broken in the room so not only you had the sun beaming on you and in your eyes, it also made the room hot. UMC might had amazing doctors but the hospital needs work, especially with their employees.
