Been attending this school for my associates, I'll be done in the summer of 2026, and all my professors have actually been pretty cool EXCEPT for Cherie Ward who taught Oral Communication, basically Public Speaking. Unless you like to kiss ass, do NOT take her class!! (You can see for yourself on ratemyprofessor.com) She is the ONLY one I've had who literally cannot teach, plays favorites, and lies about work you submit, and does not seem to know how to use Blackboard - which is insane btw-maybe because of her age? I'm not sure, but she's a weirdo. If you see Professor Christian Aguiar ( Foundation Writing), Professor Tiffany Banks (Foundation Writing II/English II), or Professor Denize Shy (Social Science/Sociology), Michael Donaldson (for Spanish 101 and 102) they are all EXCELLENT insructors and even were super supportive of Spanish speaking students. I thought that was so awesome of some of the faculty to make space for non Native English speakers. The school is affordable, and flexible for someone working full time during the day, So affordable I get a nice chunk refund because all the money hasn't been eaten up by the tuition. (I am also a DC resident so that helps) Some classes are available online but it does seem majority are in person, but evening classes are easy to find throughout the week and some classes are even on Saturdays which can be helpful. The administration isn't as bad as I thought it would be based on other reviews and I haven't had any issues with financial aid. My advisor, Patricia Garrett is amazing, so supportive and a joy to work with and makes registering for classes so easy and helps you plan based on your interest and degree pursuits. I look forward to seeing her each semester tbh! Go for it if you're still doubting the school, don't listen to the naysayers, I avoided the school until I decided to see for myself and no regrets and I'm almost done with my associates and plan to move onto the main campus for my bachelor's fall of 2026. My experience - minus the one professor Cherie Ward the Weirdo- has been great and I'm glad to have an affordable school that won't leave me in debt and is actually fully accredited, especially as a Future social worker! š I'm looking forward to their MSW being accredited which is in the works now, and hopefully by the time I finish my BSW, they may be offering the MSW for FREE. ššā¤ļø
