At least for me, this place is a giant Monster Spawner.
Beneath the rankings and reputation is a disjointed and invalidating system. Administrative support is slow and inconsistent. Students are often left to figure things out alone while important issues get buried in bureaucracy.
The student population is massive. While that might sound exciting, in reality it creates a fragmented, emotionally shallow, and competitive environment. It is hard to build trust or community in a space that values productivity over presence and appearance over care.
Over the past seven years, my mental health has declined and I have become tougher. But this is not a sign of growth, and I do not thank the institution for it. It is simply the cost of surviving here.
One star for there are still kind individuals here, and small moments of support, but they exist in spite of the institution, not because of it.
