"Unleavened Fresh Kitchen, a Lakewood original for healthy wraps and bowls, will open its fourth outpost tomorrow in University Park. The newest location will debut near SMU at 6632 Snider Plaza, following its three other locations in the lake-themed communities of Lakewood, Southlake, and Lake Highlands. The 2,800-square-foot restaurant seats nearly 70 people inside and another 30 on the outdoor patio. Interiors were designed by Mitchell Garman Architects, responsible for other Unleavened locations, which feature reclaimed brick and a mix of seating like wooden tables, metal chairs, and upholstered booths. At the University Park location, guests will also have a view into “The Lab,” a test kitchen and food prep space. The newest Unleavened will be open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving up its goods in wrap form or on top of salads or potato hash (for breakfast). Signature items include the Dagwood with pepper bacon, egg, potato, arugula, and shaved cheddar, and the Border Town with chorizo, egg, Cotija cheese, and avocado mash for breakfast. Plus for lunch and dinner, find the namesake Unleavened with chicken salad, currants, golden raisins, celery, sprouts, and tomato, or the Weekender with fried chicken, pepper bacon, tomato, and green onion. Other small plates include a variety of dips and sides like broccoli slaw, a quinoa and farro salad, and an açaí bowl with strawberries, banana, granola, and peanut butter. I really enjoyed my meal from here! The manager Mohammad was so kind and they had just opened for dine in so there weren't many people inside! There's an outside patio too for those who don't want to sit inside and its super cute! I tried the Sunrise Smoothie, Avocado Toast, Southwestern Salad and West Coast Salad. Let me start with the smoothie! It was so flavorful, and you could tell there was no added sugar. It had just the right amount of sweet and it made me happy drinking it honestly. That avocado toast was something else too! It had so much flavor and I loved the raddishes ontop with the eggs and avocado! Delicious! The Southwestern Salad blew my mind. It was genuinely the BEST salad I've ever had. Replacing dressing with Salsa and Guacamole is ground breaking! That and all of the flavor from the peppers and onions and beef! WOW! And the West Coast Salad tasted almost like sushi. The dressing reminded me of Japanese Mayo, and I love that! I'd love to come back and try more of their salads! They've got a good thing going here!

The food here was Great and the staff was very nice and attentive! Must try the Hummus! The Granola mix makes a great snack on the go.

Yum! We took the family 3 days in a row. There's great variety of food and meat options. Everything we had was great. They are generous with food and time. They were great with our celiac orders. Kids eat free after 4pm. This was such a fun, easy, yummy place to eat and serve a family with variety of preferences and needs. Nice atmosphere too.

My granddaughter and I love this restaurant! We love the food, the location, the staff and it is so clean! My granddaughter goes straight for the pizza wraps! So funny to see her melting and her taste buds lighting up everytime we go there! She is begging me to get the pizza wraps but I love their salads and other wraps!! Unleavened reminds me of Uptown were I frequented when I lived Downtown, so now I don’t have to go far to feel at home!

Amazing food quality and ambiance. Tried several different wraps and they were all delicious and flavorful. Great staff goes above and beyond to ensure freshness and a quality experience every time! One of my favorite places for healthy food in the area. P.S. The Cobb Salad is an absolute winner!!

This place wins high marks for food creativity! Their menu has some simply fascinating flavor combinations that work in a remarkable way. Free wifi, reasonable prices, and a clean and bright atmosphere makes this a great place to catch up on email or meet with friends. It is always a treat to eat there and I cannot recommend it enough. Keep up the great work!!

The atmosphere here is impeccable! The menu has a variety of different foods and the food is amazing; even the fruit was fresh. The General Manager, Brittany as well as her staff, ensured that my boyfriend and I were 100% satisfied. I will definitely be coming here soon! Thank you guys!
