Google
Mexican food at an elevated level, done quite well, and I gave them 5☆s because I believe they are working very hard on bringing Mexican flavors, it just needs a little tweeking. Our server was amazing! Very attentive, and did a great job waiting on us. Chips, Salsa, Habanero Salsa & Guacamole were delicious, couldn't stop eating it. You can tell a lot about a restaurant by the most basic item on their menu, which has to be the rice and beans. The rice a bit on the dryer side, yet flavors were just right, the refried beans were very tasty, and I was impressed. Fajitas were well executed, the chicken was incredibly juicy for being breast, seasoning was on point, loved all the Sautéed veg on the skillet. The Birria Empenadas, a good idea, was not my favorite, the masa was a bit underdone, and the meat was too salty. The same Birria meat was used in the quesadilla, and was too salty again, so we wasted that, sad... I like that the Carne Asada was cooked very lightly and not over done, but one entire piece was very raw, and not a touch of heat to that part of the meat. Luckily one of my family members liked raw meat. However I just couldn't come around to ordering a $7 taco, when I know how much they are on the "outside". Overall, I would definitely give this place another try now that I know what I'm working with.

Google
This is the best restaurant we ate at within the Grand Sierra. The salsa was so good! We had fish tacos and lobster tacos...both excellent. They had two for one margaritas on Monday so we also enjoyed those. The service was great and they have a neat decor. I would definitely eat here again. We made a reservation earlier that day because there was a line to get in when we were walking the hotel the day prior.

Google
Not worth coming back. I got shrimp enchiladas and they had decent flavor but the portion was very small. The rice was hard and dry, it almost tasted like cardboard. The beans were not it either. The drinks were pretty good though. They need better quality control. Service was awesome

We popped in here during our stay at Grand Sierra Resort. We were seated immediately. Julie was our waitress who quickly came and took our drink and food order. We were blown away how fast our food came out it was hot and so delicious. The drinks were above and beyond yummy. We had the shrimp and the combo fajitas. The guacamole was fresh fresh.

Google
So glad we stopped and tried it. We had a late dinner and was glad they were able to accommodate a baby too. I highly recommend the Fajitas, served on a hot cast iron and it comes with sides of rice and beans. The al Pastor tacos were a little on the small side - they were more like street tacos. We also tried nachos which was a large portion. The ambiance was great, the restaurant was full and still the service was exceptional.

Google
This used to be my favorite restaurant at the GSR. Last night, I learned things have changed. It's a $2 "upcharge" for extra SALSA! A $2 upcharge to get hot sauce for my tacos. A $2 upcharge for sour cream. What????? The prices of everything increased but you get no hot sauce or anything for your now dry street tacos. What? I'm supposed to eat them dry unless I pay more? It's already $17!!!! I have eaten here every single time I stayed here. Never again. Way too much money, food has declined, prices went up, and to not even have enough salsa for the chips without an "upcharge" is ridiculous. Service was great and our server agreed that these changes are RETARDED!!!

Google
Ordered room service they told us we had to come get it went down they we un organized stating they didn’t know where our order was inquiring if we paid for it which we did prior to walking waiting for room service to deliver food is mid not tasty fishy tasting not seasoned

This place was pretty packed when as walked in.  People that worked there was super nice and helpful.   The lady at the bar was busy but she is very good at multi-tasking that she was able to take our to go order. When I picked up the food it was heavy and we didn't even order that much food. 1.  Carne asada burrito - It came with rice and beans with guacamole.  First bite and my mind was blown. I've had plenty of burritos but this was different. The meat was juicy and flavorful. Perfect ratio of meat and rice. 2.  Quesa birria tacos - It came with rice and beans as well.  First bite without the consommé and to be honest you didn't need it.  It was crunchy, cheesy, and so meaty. 3.  Bacon wrapped shrimp -  I recommend squeezing a lime on top of each shrimp. The bacon is crunchy and salty. The lime helps balance the saltiness.  The shrimp is a pretty good size. 4.  Chocolate cheesecake - Heavenly,  can't go without having dessert.  I loved the cookie crust. For a to go order it was beautifully decorated.  I loved the chocolate skull on top. I can't wait to go back.  I've always avoided this place only because we figured it's just like the food we have at home.  We stand corrected. Don't make the same mistake we did.  Now we regret not coming here sooner.

Yelp
Our server Michael was great! Lots of good info! We both had margaritas, started with bean dip, chips and salsa. We ordered posole, a favorite of mine which is not on a lot of menus. It was probably the best I've had at a restaurant--served with all the traditional veggies to add to it. I made posole for years and this was tasty and spicy enough -- large chunks of tender pork and a large bowl, so much we had leftovers. Because of several large events at the resort, it was busier and louder than usual. I definitely will return, they were very accommodating for a handicapped senior with a walker. The valet service was efficient and gracious. The restaurant staff as well.

Yelp
We went with a group of 8 friends before a show at the GSR. Uno Mas is a great location to dine before or after a show. The place was busy but were able to be seated in a few minutes. We were seated at a high table next to the bar. The area just seemed hectic, with customers, servers and bus staff always trying to get by. I ordered the street taco's. Having grown up in Los Angeles, I can only describe these as "meh". The Carne Asada was on the dry side and the tortillas were equally dry. My wife ordered the Chicken Enchiladas. The Enchiladas just seemed burned and not in a good way. Convenient but not the best experience for quality Mexican.

Yelp
Came here for a work convention in August and chose this place as one of our dinners since I remembered it being good the last time came a few years ago. We made reservations and were seated within 10 minutes. I always get my standby fajitas. What I remembered most was that they had side table guacamole so we ordered that. I expected the same but sadly we got this very small cup for $14.99 that didn't taste fresh. They charged $6 for a soda. Everything seemed kinda pricey which would be fine if it was really good but would rate it as just okay. Service was not great either. We had to flag down our waiter for everything. He did kindly divy up our bill since this was reimbursable by our company but needed individual receipts. Overall disappointed enough that I won't be in a hurry to return.

Yelp
Uno Mas is located in the Grand Sierra. Very nice modern restaurant. Love the vibe here. They have a very nice bar . Food is good! My man and I get the 3 meat fajitas chicken, steak, & shrimp . So delicious!!! Portion size is ok , we always share our meal. They only give you one basket of chips now and 1 salsa you have to pay if you want more unfortunately . They have a very good habanero salsa. That is $2 but it is soooo good!! Margaritas here are very good! We always get the same waiter , I wish I got his name. He is the best server we have ever had!! Very friendly, and super attentive! We enjoy coming here , good option when staying at GSR.
google avatar

Yelp
Uno Mas has 2 for 1 Margaritas all day Mondays and Sundays - Thurs from 5 pm to 6 pm!! While we weren't able to take advantage of that margarita special on our most recent visit, we loved the house margarita we ordered. We also tried the carnitas enchilada plate. The carnitas were perfectly seasoned and went well with the rice and beans. As usual, their chips and salsa were great. Our waitress was efficient and friendly. She came by to check on us and made sure we didn't need anything else. The ambiance is warm and filled with hispanic music and had a soccer game playing. Oh, I almost forgot: locals get 20% off with their players card - which is a great perk!

Yelp
It's a nice spot to get some Mexican food and watch sports in the GSR, but it is expensive for the food and flavors you get. The chips and salsa are decent, but the rice, beans, and entrees could use a bit more, especially when paying a premium for 'elevated' Mexican street food. Still, aside from the price, it is decent food and drinks and there are worse options.

Yelp
2.5/5 - Good Drinks, Friendly Vibe... but bring your wallet. Came for tacos, stayed for the overpriced disappointment. $50 each for mid food, weak margs, and a taco the size of a Post-it. Uno Mas? Uno Nope. We popped into Uno Mas Tacos for a girls' night while our Girl Scout troop was doing an escape room downstairs. The vibe was fun, the service was friendly, and the place was super clean. Bonus points for the 2-for-1 margaritas, which were tasty--but definitely on the weak side. Now for the not-so-hot part: the food was just OK, especially for the price. We were a group of three, each ordering one drink and a plate of food. Two of us added a single street taco (barely the size of our palms), and still, each bill was around $50. That's a steep tab for a casual taco night, even by casino standards. Honestly, the quality didn't match the cost. The food wasn't bad--it just wasn't memorable. Definitely not the kind of meal that makes you say, "Let's do this again next week." Would I go back? Probably not. As a local, I know there's better Mexican food nearby that won't leave me wondering if I accidentally ordered the gold-plated guac.

Yelp
Omg! New menu since I was last here. Lobster burritos, burritos, portabella fajitas! 2 for 1 Cadillac margaritas! Our server was exceptional. Friendly, prompt. Clean, lots of help. My company loved the lobster burrito and the birria burrito. The portabella fajitas were tasty. Had a sip of the margarita and it was so good. I will be back soon!

Yelp
Uno Mas welcomes you in with beautiful, classy chic black/gold decor, friendly staff, and Mexican flare aromas. We gad a reservation and I definitely recommend it if visiting as there was a 30+ minute wait within 15 min of opening. The chips and salsa were spot on, and though I was participating in dry January I did take a peek at the drink menu and I'm coming back for you someday spicy cucumber margarita! I had the fried Baja shrimp tacos. The shrimp was perfectly battered, the slaw sauce/pico complemented the shrimp flavor well, and the beans and rice were pretty good too. I would definitely stop in again!

Yelp
Brought my fiancé here for her birthday dinner on January, 13, 2025 and had absolutely no complaints. We ordered the Asada fajitas and Quesadillas and we enjoyed them both very much! Also the gal who made our Strawberry Lemon Drop and Pineapple Whiskey Fresh also did a great job with the drinks as they were both very tasty! The Birthday flan they brought my fiancé which I believed was a pineapple and coconut flan was absolutely fantastic! I would come back just for that! But the star of the show for us was the waitress - Jessica. She was absolutely fantastic. Albeit we came right after they opened and there was only a few of us customers inside but Jessica was very attentive. Very sweet and had a great smile. They sat us at a small table originally but once she saw us with the fajitas and not having much room she quickly help move our stuff to a bigger table which we appreciated. Shouts out to Jessica!

Yelp
Full disclosure, this food is certainly "Americanized" in terms of spice level. However it's not losing out on great flavor. I'm at the Grand Sierra once a year for a work trip and twice now I've come back here. Meat in our food wasn't dry, beans weren't chalky, serving sizes are great for the price. Our expectations were exceeded greatly. Justin served us tonight, he's a wonderful waiter and bartender. Charismatic check ins and the best person to ask for recommendations. One of the better dining experiences at the resort. After a long day working, this was a proper enjoyable sit down dinner to end the day with.
google avatar

Yelp
Pro's: That salsa! Loaded with cilantro...loved it! Con's: Service was a bit rushed. Go back?: Yes More... Aaaaand the skinny margarita with reposado was spot-on. I really enjoyed my shrimp tacos and they have a great version of refried beans. This was a winner...we really enjoyed our dinner and certainly would go back.

B E.

Yelp
The bartender was our waiter and did a great. However, the white wine was literally watered down. it didn't even smell like wine it had so much water in it and it barely had any color. I doubt it was the bartender who did it. Also, there was one random, small, extremely hot seed in my taco meal. Seriously, I crunched on it and my mouth was on fire. it was so hot it burned my lips. I did not order spicy. I had to drink a whole glass of water. The vibe was definitely bar, not restaurant. I won't eat there again.

Yelp
Came into Uno Mas before a concert at the GSR. We were seated right away with a reservation. It was very loud lively interior. We ordered drinks, the guacamole, cheese enchiladas and a taco plate. The food was subpar. The rice didn't have much flavor and my enchiladas were flat and not filled with much cheese at all. Service was just okay, but they were also very busy which may have contributed to it. Overall I think there are better mexican options in reno and better dinner options in GSR to go to prior to a show.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere in the heart of the GSR. We had a double date last night with two of our dear friends and this was a great date night spot to unwind from the week, have a garden marg (perfectly made and spicy just how I like it). They have a a good mix of food. I had a challenging time picking what I wanted and opted for the chicken quesadilla and one mahi mahi taco! The service was well attended and look forward to coming back for a round two!
google avatar

Msm M.

Yelp
I ordered the Birria Wet Burrito plate - the burrito was very good - the beans were very bland and lacked texture like it was rehydrated powdered beans - the Spanish rice was pretty good Considering this restaurant is inside the GSR I would say it was very good overall - - - Since it was busy, I decided to take a seat at the bar. It was entertaining, watching the two bartenders working on the drinks. However, be aware that they really are focused on the drinks and not on you. Surprisingly, it takes a while to capture their attention to get a refill on water or a Coke. - - - - - Bottom line, I will be eating here again next time I'm at this casino

Yelp
Positives: --I ordered online using the website, and my order was ready for pickup in literally 5 minutes. So quick!! --Free chips & salsa included in bag with every order. The salsa is so flavorful and fresh. --Portions are pretty decent for the price. Negatives: --The website has some sort of weird glitch/ bug where you can't add anything to the cart from the tacos section of the menu without first specifying a substitution. It's been this way for over a year now and it seems to affect only items in the tacos section of the menu. --I ordered the carne asada tacos especial (without cilantro since I was forced to omit something just to get the item in the online cart). It was priced on the menu as $18 but showed up in my cart as $19 (which is the price I was charged). --The tacos are supposed to come with sour cream, but mine didn't have any. --I was given a sad sprinkle of romaine lettuce on the side --Asada meat was bland, fatty, and chewy Definitely one of my worst Uno Mas experiences. Fix the online ordering situation, make sure the online pricing is correct, and don't serve dry tacos plz.
google avatar

Nicollas F.

Yelp
The menu looks great but the food is really disappointing. Best way to put it is, Mexican without any flavor. They are missing the seasoning, salt would go a long way. Service was great and super friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has a good layout and a fun atmosphere.
google avatar

Yelp
Horrible steak fajitas are very chewy and no flavor corn tortillas are very dry out by the time they give it to you horrible experience don't go to this restaurant . Basically I eat rice and the bell peppers and onions
google avatar

Yelp
We've always heard positive things about this place so we decided to try it. The wait was around 10-15 minutes which isn't bad for a Friday night. We decided to sit at the bar since it was open. We ordered the birria enchiladas which was a smaller portion than the carne asada bowl. Carne asada bowl was very flavorful and would definitely order it again!
google avatar

Nichole E.

Yelp
GSR has a lot of restaurants and if you are anything like my family you may have been there for a sports tournament so the hotel is busy! Uno Mas typically is an easy restaurant to get into but know you will have to wait. Personally not my favorite Mexican food but it fills the void. I do love their chips and salsa. I say go here if you are hungry and don't want to wait around at other restaurants. The staff is really kind!
google avatar

Yelp
Left a 5-star review the last year, my last time visiting the casino. The exceptional customer service at 5-star food service has not changed. UNO Más is still a great place to grub and drink. During tonight's visit, I sat at the bar again and had the privilege of being served by Hidone. Hidone provided great customer service while working at a fast pace, taking care of many customers at a fully occupied bar. My margarita and food order was served up quickly. It was very pleasant to see all employees were cheerful and enthusiastic. The ambiance was really great. I happened to be alone this Valentine's Day evening, but I had a great time dining at Uno Más.
google avatar

Ginger D.

Yelp
Located in GSR---- This is the only Mexican food option unless the Mexican food truck at the resort is open! The service was great. My gf and I sat at the bar and both bartenders were very professional and fast. We both got two Cadillac margaritas that didn't taste super great. It's like they weren't mixed. I'm not sure. I got the chicken quesadilla which was good.. very basic.. my friend got the street tacos which she said were also fine. Nothing special about this place. But the food compares to an Applebees for Mexican!
google avatar

Fancypants X.

Yelp
Epically, royally, horrifically bad tacos. Located at Grand Sierra Resort's Restaurant Row, we should've picked any other place to eat other than Uno Más. We had one order of carne asada street tacos ($17) & one order of pollo asada tacos ($17.) Side of guac, sour cream, & pico de gallo was $2. The meats were some of the worst I've ever had; barely had a sear on them, fatty, low quality. Our server was so nice, he was prompt & polite. He's too good for Uno Más.
google avatar

Vicky B.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. My margarita was interesting as it was the Mexican candy which came with a lollipop. The beans were velvety smooth. The salsa was yummy and 1 basket was just the right amount of chips (as we all know 4 chips is equal to 1 tortilla...lol) will definitely eat here again. The only thing I would like to see is a salsa bar with a variety of different salsas.
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
Friendly service, I was promptly seated after checking in. The ambiance is very casual sitting , it's somewhat busy. The food is okay, but somewhat overpriced for small portions. For instances 3 street tacos, I was not expecting it to be 20 dollars. But their Sizzling Frijas plate carne asada is good. Right balance of flavor.
google avatar

Lisa G.

Yelp
We came in on an early Tuesday night and we had a short wait to be seated. We started out with drinks and queso and while the drinks were good, the queso just wasn't quite right. Yes, it was melted cheese, but melted cheese alone does not a queso make. For dinner, I got fried fish tacos were were good. They had good portions of fish and plenty of sides, if I was inclined to take things to go, I probably would have. I'd order them again if I'm ever back at the Grand Sierra. It does seem to be the best middle of the range restaurant option within the casino. The service was touch and go, when we first say down, our server was very attentive, but once we got our food, they were nowhere to be seen when we wanted another round of drinks, more importantly, the bill. TL:DR - food was okay, drinks were good, service was touch and go.

Yelp
As a taco lover, I've been to my fair share of taco spots, but Uno Mas at GSR offers a more upscale vibe, which I really appreciate. Whenever I'd mention loving tacos on a date, guys would immediately suggest a taco truck or a taqueria -- nothing wrong with that, but sometimes I wanted something a bit nicer. Uno Mas delivers on that with its chic ambiance and relaxed atmosphere -- it feels more like a night out than a quick bite. Now, about the food -- it's decent but not amazing. The flavors are good, but I've had better at other places. I wish I could give it a 3.5 because it's not bad, just not quite at a 4-star level. The service was solid, and the presentation was nice, but for the price and the upscale feel, the food could definitely step it up a notch. Still, it's a great spot when you want tacos without the casual taco stand vibe.

Yelp
We recent;y stayed at the GSR for Fantasies in Chocolate 11/11/23, and after waiting an hour for our bags, found ourselves scrambling for something to eat before the event. Uno Mas offers mobile ordering and that worked pretty good. Initially, the quoted time was 40 min for our small taco order, but we were pleasantly surprised to get a call it was ready in about 15 min! We ordered a 3 taco combo with a side of rice & beans since we planned on snacking sweets & treats at FIC...which ended up being a TOTAL BUMMER but there's another review for that! We ordered carnitas, pastor, and asada. It came with a massive bag chips and salsa, and those were both pretty dang good! The rice & beans were also good and kinda saved the meal. The tacos had us scratching our heads. Then you can't tell which one is steak, it's a NO for me. The carnitas were easy to distinguish, and pastor seemed more reddish, but the "steak" if that's what we received, had an odd blanched, pale color but didn't taste like chicken. We had a few nibbles of the meat and tossed it. We weren't going to risk "off" meat on a special event night. Overall, pricey for a total of 2 edible tacos but it is a casino captive audience dining situation!

Yelp
Restaurant is very loud. Hard to hear each other talk. Drinks arrived after our food. Fish tacos were just ok. They didn't have much flavor.

Yelp
If you can avoid this place please do. Everything looked amazing, but sadly it fell super duper short with flavor to texture. Complementary chips and salsa - Salsa was bland and had zero flavor. It almost tasted watered down Carne asada fajita - Absolutely zero seasoning. There was also no salt or pepper on the table to save this. Though the texture of the meat was perfect but it was sheer disappointment when you ate it with no flavor or seasoning. Ceviche - Super sour and the texture of the shrimp was so wrong. The shrimp was macerated and it was extremely hard to eat not just for the extreme sourness and lack of seasoning like sugar, salt, and etc. But the texture of the macerated shrimp was not pleasant. The waiter checked on us twice and we tried our best to push through this meal but we hate being wasteful and complaining and we had a food voucher that was used for this meal. It was so hard to finish this meal and it ruined our appetite for the rest of the night. We left extremely disappointed and unsatisfied.

Yelp
Happy to say they've made a big turnaround. We've been coming here past 8 years usually while here for a show. In the past food was average. This experience recently was over the top! The manager checked on us. The chef stopped by to check on us and bring additional salsa. The food has improved from past experiences.

Yelp
I almost didn't eat here due to the past bad reviews. But I'm glad I did! Cheese enchiladas, guacamole, carnitas fajitas, and carne nachos were all delicious! Service was fantastic. Literally not a single complaint. Maybe they are under new management over the last year but everything was excellent.

Yelp
We were staying at the GSR and were looking for a quick bite. My fiancé is always hungry so we're always eating out lol We found this cute place next to the cinema and were atte to the ambience. He ordered a beer and a quesadilla, which was good. I ordered a holiday cocktail that was strong for my taste but was good. Their salsa was okay. That's the only thing I thought could improve. Overall we had a good experience, and the servers were nice and friendly. We probably will return if we're back in Reno.

Yelp
This place has so much potential but they are only open for dinner. Although the food has gotten much better, it's not the best. Service is usually a little bit slow too. We had dinner here 2 nights ago while staying at GSR and one order was completely forgotten. Fast forward 20 minutes and the rest of the table was almost finished eating when the burrito finally showed up. No real apology or anything. For such a busy hotel it makes zero sense that they aren't open for lunch and there really isn't anywhere else to eat lunch there. I would love to go chill and have drinks and chips and salsa earlier in the day!!!

Yelp
I've always wanted to try Uno Mas, so when my company decided to treat us all to dinner here, I jumped at the chance. The service was great. Despite us having a rather large group (taking up multiple tables) they sat us quickly and we're efficient went it came time to take our drink/food orders. The food is where it's a bit hit and miss. I ordered the choizo/queso dip to go with the chips and I don't regret it one bit. For my entree, I got the Quesabirria tacos and while the flavor was spot on, they were super soggy. No crisp whatsoever. Would I go back again? More than likely. There were far more positives than negatives.

Yelp
Came in today to see our favorite server Paolo! We used to see him at another dining restaurant and followed him here.. 4 stars for the great service, atmosphere and the great music that compliments the food.. The carne asada fries were recommended.. and big to share with more than two .. Carne asada tacos and the birria taco dinners were ordered. Chips and salsa were good- Carne asada tacos were just okay- not like the regular taquerias.. Birria tacos were on the smaller side(which was good (because I ate too many carne asada fries).. Beans and rice were on the dry side.. Still a great place to probably get a few drinks and appetizers!

Yelp
I have eaten here at this restaurant twice the first time it was a good experience. The second time I had the same waiter, which is fantastic. Great Filipino person but the food was skimpy for $17 for two tacos. The tacos had almost nothing in them I ended up putting beans and rice in them to make them a decent taco look at the pictures, absolutely ridiculous. How much does beans and rice and chicken filling for a taco cost very disappointed. The service was great A+ The food and lack of food on my plate and the presentation I give it a D- look at the tacos almost nothing inside them. What is the executive chef thinking?

Yelp
I made another visit to try the nachos that I missed on my last visit. One noticeable difference was the salsa. On this visit I found the salsa was a fresh homemade salsa and remarkably better than my last visit. The team assured me that the salsa is made fresh in-house and this time around I could see and taste the difference. Carnitas Nachos are delicious, but the coconut pineapple flan stole the show for us. Do NOT pass it up! Service is friendly, smiling and on top of it at all times. Shout out to Charlie & the team for making this meal enjoyable! Management always comes by to make sure we are getting what we need and enjoying our meal. Appreciate the consistent top notch service on my visits. Keep up the good work Uno Mas! I'm sure I'll be back.

Yelp
Came here after going bowling at the GSR. They had this awesome football special: nachos served with quesadillas. Your choice of meat. So good. I split it with someone and it was $26. We also had a beer + shot special. Would definitely come back

Yelp
We were welcomed and seated timely. We were brought water along with chips and salsa. The server didn't engage for more than 10 minutes, the restaurant was not busy at this time. We ordered an Uno Mas Margarita and a spicy Paloma, the Paloma was missing the promised spicy rim, each of the drinks was $18. The esquites corn appetizer came quickly, it was spicier than advertised and had too much liquid to be edible with chips past the top layer. The street tacos were good, the meat was extremely salty, chicken-carnitas-Al pastor. The Caesar salad was an interesting option with a chipotle dressing and ordered the steak on the side. The steak was the same that would have come in an asada taco and was very salty. Overall it was a decent meal and fun atmosphere but $100 for this meal was too expensive.

Yelp
Can get busy in the evening on weeknights. Located at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, we opted to eat here one evening because some of the other restaurants were closed already. They have a full bar and bar seating, TVs to watch games, and booths, and tables that can hold larger groups too. My parents weren't too picky but my dad just got some Carnitas tacos, me and my mom shared a carne asada burrito with beans and rice, we got the lettuce on the side. The food came out quickly, service was also quick. If you're staying at GSR and want Mexican food then this is where you should go. If you're visiting GSR there's tons of parking and there shouldn't be a long wait.

Yelp
I have been here many times and sat at the bar most of the time. The service has always been poor. But I am never going back after this last time. The service is mediocre at best. On this last particular occasion, I sat at the bar. Five DIFFERENT people said they would be with me soon, including Claudia, my server. After 15 minutes of waiting, I finally asked for chips and salsa. I ASKED for the of minimum service! Later on, I still had to ask to for the minimum time of service multiple times! But despite my requests, no one ever brought me water, utensils, or a napkin. After asking repeatedly about my order, I ended up waiting another 30 minutes for my meal, which ultimately came out incorrect. Then the bill was wrong, too. This place sucks. Don't waste your time.

Yelp
Staying here at the resort and needed some grub. Who doesn't love tacos? I was greeted promptly and sat down. I don't think the table I was sat at had been cleaned yet. Knife was there and the bill folder from the previous guest and the table had water spots. No big deal. There was a rather large party in there with a bunch of kids so no worries. I was dining alone so I had a nice little spot. Which thank goodness the loud table of kids got moved closer to their parents away from me lol. I ordered the ceviche, omg the Shrimp were huge and delicious. Also the salsa for the chips and salsa was very yummy. Very flavorful. I ordered the 2 carne asada tacos plate. I was able to have a double order of beans rather than rice. Nice! Beans had like a Smokey flavor and might have been canned. The meat was just ok in the tacos. I would have been ok with the ceviche and chips and salsa. When I return to this hotel I would eat here again. I want to try the pozole.

Yelp
Stopped by here after going to Senseology and was not sure what to expect as I had not heard of this place. At the end of the day it is your typical Americanized Mexican food but the combination plate that I got was very taste and filling. I will say that even though the main dishes are important I tend to to judge a Mexican Restaurant on the chips and beans and this place did not disappoint. We started off with Chips, Salsa and Guacamole and ordered the El Toro combination plate which had a Birria Enchilada and Chile Relleno. My wife had a Shrimp Enchilada plate which was good however not likely something we would order again. We were attended by a waitress that was new however she was very nice and quick to get our orders so we were very pleased with the service. Overall, if you are hanging out at the GSR and don't want to go anywhere else this place is worth checking out, however I personally wouldn't go seeking out this place when craving mexican food.

Yelp
We had dinner here one night on our last trip to Reno and found everything to be pretty average but definitely helped satisfy our late night hunger. We were staying at the hotel and decided that we needed tacos before going to bed. It was late and within an hour of their closing time but it still took a while to get seated and then longer for our server to stop by. The chips and salsa were not great and I pretty much never say no to crispy little bites of salty goodness, but these just weren't worth the calories. The guacamole was the same. Their tacos were solid though and gluten free. We each got the street tacos and enjoyed them and the sides they came with. The margaritas we ordered were fine but not the best but my friend got a Paloma and said that was actually quite good. Overall it's a solid little spot if it's late and you're looking for some decent tacos.
