Uno Mas Taqueria - Review - Buckhead - Atlanta - The Infatuation
"This Mexican restaurant sits in the lobby of One Alliance Center in Buckhead, bordered on all sides by towering, oblong-shaped office buildings. And, understandably so, their menu attracts the business crowd for lunch and after-work frozen margaritas to celebrate the end of another day of successfully punching the clock.
Anything you order comes out with impressive speed, so you can throw down a run-of-the-mill chicken quesadilla and be back in your cubicle before your boss even realizes you’re gone. That zippiness points to some sacrifice in quality, though. The thin strips of cold carne asada taste like they might have been cooked via microwave and ruin an otherwise good fajita bowl. And salsas are inexplicably sour.
Even if these dishes aren’t exactly crushing their KPI’s, the counter-service Mexican spot works for anyone employed in the vicinity of the Alliance buildings, especially because most of the menu items cost less than $15. But no need to go out of your way to eat here.
Food Rundown
Pollo Sandwich
This is the best order. For starters, it comes out hot (the kitchen generally struggles with temperature control) and the chicken chunks' smoky char meshes with the grilled peppers and onions, and cheese. Plus, the bread is soft and holds it all together nicely.
Fajita Bowl
Our second favorite dish. You get a hefty portion of rice, black beans, and fresh pico with corn and lettuce. Either skip the protein on this (the vegetable option is only $10) or go with the chicken. But just know that the carne asada is rubbery and cold.

Quesadilla
Once again, the chicken is the winner here. Otherwise, this is a pretty standard quesadilla with cheese, onions, and peppers.
Tacos
There are five taco options, which each cost $5, and none of them are really worth an order. The portions are tiny (only a third of the flour tortillas are full with proteins and toppings), the meats are cold, and the salsas are sour. Skip these.
