Where to Eat on Old South Pearl Street | Eater Denver

"This cantina packs a punch with a bar that stocks more than 70 tequilas and mezcals and turns up the heat with its street tacos and classic Mexican dishes. The kitchen team also smokes whole animals, including locally raised pigs, goats, and sheep." - Gigi Sukin

Not a great experience here, was hoping to like it more. 3 out of 4 of our tacos were pretty good but my mahi mahi taco came with a sizable bone left in it. Thankfully the taco was comp-ed but the server was not helpful or friendly when she discovered we did not want to order alcoholic beverages! Overall, a pretty lame experience for one of my favorite means. Also pretty expensive for street tacos. We won’t be returning to this taqueria.

Quite a cute little place! It's not authentic mexican, more like an americanized spin-off. They have crafted sodas, which are pretty tasty. I had their version of carne asada nachos. It's really weird to have picked red onions on it. Overall, it was okay. It's just different. Personally, I like my nachos traditional, but even so, it was tasty just unexpected. The place is super cute. Park in the garage across the street as street parking can be a nightmare.

Uno Mas Taqueria y Cantina is a must-try, especially if you have a sweet tooth! Their churros are absolutely incredible – perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside, and dusted with just the right amount of cinnamon sugar. They're served with a generous dollop of whipped cream and a decadent chocolate drizzle, making them even more irresistible. They're easily some of the best I've ever had! The street tacos were also fantastic, with a great variety of fillings like chicken, chorizo, barbacoa, and grilled shrimp, all served on soft, warm tortillas. Our server, Dillon, deserves a special mention for his excellent service. He was attentive, friendly, and efficient, even while managing all the tables on his own. I highly recommend Uno Mas – go for the tacos and definitely don't leave without trying the churros!

Ordered take out online, was fast and easy. Loved the guac and the tacos. Vibrant energetic atmosphere and a great location. Worth a try!

Google
Tacos!! Who doesn’t love a good taco. Well these were fantastic. The carne asada, chorizo, al pastor were excellent. The bean and cheese one could have been cheesier. The house margarita was good as well as the hibiscus margarita. They also have New Planet pale ale gluten free ale. Overall they have a vast selection of gluten free celiac safe tacos and appetizers.

Google
Great service and great food! Some flies and gnats inside which was annoying but otherwise nice time.

Google
Tacos were extremely mediocre. Not special or tasty at all. The Al Pastor tacos were super sub par and just overall not good. It was a struggle to get through them. The service was great and every staff member was kind and friendly. Kinda empty for dinner time which threw me off but I guess I get why. If they improved their tacos I’ll be satisfied.

Google
Very busy place on a Friday night, it’s luck of the draw (it seems) on if you’ll be able to just walk in and get a table at 8pm or have to wait a little like we did. My margarita was in a small glass but was excellent. All three tacos I ordered were good. The flan did not disappoint post-meal. Our server was attentive. The seating is more limited in the winter, in the warmer months they also have a patio. Parking is semi-hard to come by, but you should be able to achieve parking within the next street. All in all, a pretty cool little place.

Yelp
When you are craving tacos, this is where you want to be. If you are hungry, but not sure what you want, this is where you want to be. Uno mas literally means one more, and this place has you practically chanting it. The variety is fresh and innovative. Service is spot on, chill and there's no rush. This is the ideal place to catch up with a friend and enjoy some bites.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this place! We stopped in on Memorial Day for a post park walk lunch and it did not disappoint. They had a special in margs for $8 so I had to have one and it was yummy! We started off which chips and guac. The chips were salty and yummy and the guac was delicious! I wish it was in like a bowl or something instead of on a plate, hard to scoop. We got a variety of tacos as you can see by the picture, my vegan friend got the mushrooms and said they were good!! I got a shrimp, a barbacoa and a carnitas I believe. All were delicious! I really loved the vibe of the outdoor patio. They only had like 3 people working, so I will say service was pretty slow, but over server was super nice!

Yelp
We are sad that we just had a pretty negative experience here. This has been our weekly lunch go-to for a while and we love their drinks and food. This afternoon we were the only patrons in the restaurant and there were two conflicting radio stations playing loudly. I asked the bartender if we could have it so we only were able to hear one station. She informed me it was the house music plus the kitchen music. I asked again and she hesitated before asking the kitchen to turn down the radio. It was slightly turned down but still very much audible. Our server came over and took our order and I suggested he turn off the house music so the kitchen could continue to rock out. That I could not enjoy lunch listening to Stevie Nicks plus the unknown artist from the kitchen speakers. He told me "I mean...we can't have it silent in here." My reply of "it won't be and also we are the only ones here" was answered with "yeah but what if someone else comes in?" Welp! He never learned about a bird in the hand being better than two in the bush I guess. Speaking of Bird, we are enjoying our lunch and just one station there now.

Yelp
Something to know before you go... This place is SMALL. One bathroom, only about a half-dozen seats at the bar, and only 10-12 tables inside (although it does have a cute patio!). So the wait can be long, and the service- while very friendly- can take some time. That said, the tacos are incredible! The barbacoa and duck confit were probably the best tacos that I've had outside of Mexico. The pork belly was cooked perfectly and was very good, despite the sauce being sweeter than I would have liked and the chorizo was also delicious. They make some excellent margaritas, as well, so if you're down to have a nice, long dinner with a significant other or friends, this is a fantastic place to do it!

Yelp
Came here for a afternoon delight ona sunday. Had tacos and a quesadilla but they didn't make the picture today. They were phenomenal, you can never go wrong with any of the tacos here. Always a delight. Service is great Alyssa is fantastic and Fabiola is amazing as well. Great vibes and always enjoy being here on a Sunday.

Yelp
Uno Mas is a tried and true taco spot for me in Denver. The Pearl Street location has ample indoor seating but I usually opt for the back patio because of the nicer ambiance. They always have multiple draft beers along with great margs. The service is always great with charismatic waitresses who do not miss a beat! On my last visit, we ordered the seasonal fish taco, chorizo taco, and chicken taco. All were phenomena-- especially the chorizo. It is flavorful and made even better with the roasted vegetables that are folded throughout the chorizo. The guac was obviously made fresh right before being brought out to us and our chips were hot and crispy! I would also recommend the salsa trio. Give Uno Mas a try next time you're in the Wash Park neighborhood!

Yelp
Walking the Pearl Market and had to try this place. The tacos were very accurate to what I have had in Mexico City. They are very good. The carnitas was a little too wet though. It didn't have that char I'm used too. They have a big variety of tequila. Service was good. I think the counters could be a little cleaner. On the bar. I will say that these are so far the best tacos I've had in Colorado. I'd definitely come back and try more tacos. I'm impressed.

Yelp
Incredible street tacos! 2nd, time we have eaten here in a year (both times after the fantastic farmers market); everything taco-wise is outstanding. We tried Barbacoa, Pork Belly, Carnitas, Duck Confit and Sea of Cortez; each super delicious, unique and each having a different taste profile. Each taco comes with two tortillias, so we pull one off, take half the contents so two of us split one taco; plenty of food. So five taco's for two, we left stuffed. Lovely outdoor paito that is dog friendly (the three Whippets loved it there). I eat tacos all over the country, and this restaurant is tops; if you love great tacos, do not miss this gem. Our server Fabiola was great too!

Yelp
Huge fan of street tacos! I've taken family and friends all over the city in search of the best. This is one of my 2 favorites if not my favorite. Cheese quesadillas are always great at Uno Mas. Pazole is a family favorite in my household!!! Good eats!

Yelp
Great taco spot and local watering hole in Platt Park! There are great happy hour deals here! This place is usually pretty crowded at night / on weekends. We came in the early evening to make sure we got a spot (and happy hour). Started with the chips and queso, which were delicious. Queso wasn't too spicy, and was a big bowl of it. The chips were good too, and they offered to bring us more if needed to finish off the queso. Many tacos on the menu sounded great, but I ended up getting one of the specials, which was skirt steak served fajita style with 4 taco shells. Skirt steak is my favorite cut, so I had to get that. It was delicious and so filling. Everything that came with it (black bean paste, tomato, veggies) paired very well, and loved how the steak was cooked. I normally don't like corn tortillas, but these were good and not over the top. I would definitely recommend, especially for happy hour, and return!

Yelp
Had never been before, despite monthly trips to the great South Pearl Street Farmers Market, and now I am wondering why. The very best Mexican food in Denver! Wow. Greeted warmly and given a superb seat at the window, this was a terrific experience. Loved Fabiola, our server, and she could not have been more helpful and was equipped with an excellent demeanor. It is a smaller setting, but I would wait a heckuva long time to eat here in the future. Opened with chips and salsa, which came with three sauces, all of whom were extremely good. But I LOVED their guacamole, the best that I have enjoyed in Colorado, a delicious homemade mix of avocados fresh tomatoes, Serrano chiles, lime, red onion, and cilantro, It was so darn good! Topped that off with a pair of street tacos that were sensational, carne asada, and the house chorizo. The carne asada option included garlic-marinated skirt steak with poblanos and potato, while the house Chorizo was incredible, incorporating fresh spinach, Mexican creme, ranchero salsa, and poblanos! Enjoyed my authentic Mexican Coke at the table and never felt rushed at any time. So glad that we visited, and it will be a frequent stop on the local food tour.

Yelp
This is a small spot that I tried to dine at over a year ago when visiting a friend in Denver. We could not get it - there was no room. I understand why now. It is small and intimate but in the best way! It felt like the "local waterhole" because the bartender was talking to the customers seated at the bar as friends. All the staff was attentive and pleasant. I started with the queso as an appetizer. I was impressed with the amount of chips it came with - a big bowl! Plus they do not skip out on the size of the queso. I like that the queso had actual pieces of peppers and jalapeños. It was "real" queso. I ordered two tacos. The serving size was perfect considering I had chips and queso before the main. I loved the pickled onions on the carnitas. The steak on my other taco was cooked juicy, and it was paired deliciously with avocado and a special dressing. I will return here if I am in the area and craving tacos. I would not go out of my way to eat here. Like I said above it's a very local spot. I was surprised with a special treat for a Yelp Check In here - check out those Modelo beers ;)

Yelp
Uno Mas por favor! Loved it! The green chile is very very good and reminded me of my favorites in Santa Fe. Chicken and steak tacos were awesome and chips and guac super good. Drinks too! Margs without the syrup. And to top it all off the staff were attentive and fun, and the Nuggets won as seen on the TV in the friendly bar area. My new favorite.
google avatar

Savannah K.

Yelp
Delicious food with good happy hour deals! Very small, homey feel. Staff was friendly. Cute little patio area in the back.
google avatar

Ruba A.

Yelp
Any day Alyssa is behind the bar it's a good time, Fabiola always greats us with a smile and great service, great service and great food all around that feeds the soul, always get the fish tacos which is always so clean. Definitely one of my happy places and highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Super disappointed by this place-would not recommend for Happy Hour. The margarita tasted like straight José Cuervo marg mix from the grocery store. Queso was fine, but not a lot of flavor. Only a dollar off of regular prices, still $9, and did not feel worth it. Quesadilla was gross- the cheese wasn't even fully melted. All in and 1/10, will not be back. Bummer because seemed like it would be good.
google avatar

Laura F.

Yelp
It's disappointing how inconsistent the food is here. I've had great tacos and then ordered the same thing on a different day and they are pretty gross. It's near my office, so I go back more than I would otherwise. After my last meal, I'm put off enough to avoid in the future.

Yelp
ordered chicken quesadillas here and the chicken was completely raw. dirty restaurant. never going back

Yelp
Delicious tacos!! I've had my eye on Uno Mas for a while, so I can't believe I am just now getting around to trying it! My husband and I came here with another couple on a Sunday afternoon (around 3:00) for happy hour. This cute little spot was surprisingly busy, but thankfully, we arrived right when another group was leaving, so we were seated quickly. Despite the crowd, our waitress served us fairly quickly! She was super patient with us, as we were first-timers, and explained how everything worked. For drinks, we all got some margaritas ($6 house margs on HH!) and we also ordered chips, guac, and the salsa trio to split (also discounted on HH!). For entrees, everyone but myself got the chicken quesadilla - which they all seemed to enjoy! I decided to try some tacos and got the carne asada, house chorizo, and queso & frijoles tacos. Oh my goodness, those tacos were loaded!! All of the flavors were so different & delicious and really so filling. Great food, drinks, & experience overall. Now all I want to do is come back here to try all of the tacos on the menu!!

Yelp
Came here just as happy hour was ending on a Saturday evening. Our waitress was so kind and allowed us to quickly order some happy hour drinks and apps before it ended. Our table enjoyed some margs and palomas (they were also pretty strong), as well as chips and salsa (chips are bottomless when you order!). For those of us visiting for the first time, our waitress explained that tacos are ordered "sushi" style and gave us several recommendations. We were told the duck tacos were a specialty, so many of us ordered those, along with grilled shrimp, carne asada, and barbacoa. The tacos were brought out quickly, all looking fresh and delicious. It was clear why the duck tacos are so popular- the duck was cooked perfectly and the mango added a great contrast. I also had a grilled shrimp taco, which was also yummy, especially with the red onions on top. It seemed like everyone else at the table also enjoyed their selections. I'd definitely return to try other varieties, as well as take advantage of their happy hour deals. It wasn't busy when we arrived around 5 on Saturday, but by the time we left, it seemed very crowded, but the overall atmosphere was great!

Yelp
I went with my husband to grab a bite. He was waiting up front to be seated and I needed to run to the restroom really fast. I'm making my way back to the bathrooms and some blonde woman just steps right in front of me and points to the front door and practically yelled "you can go wait up front to be seated". First of all, this isn't high school. You're not going to tell me when I can or can't use the bathroom alright lady? Second of all, my husband was waiting to be seated at the front of the restaurant so it's not like I was just going to go and sit at any old table like I'm some sort of animal. Im so pissed (pun intended f*ck you) at this point i just step around her and her audacity and go to the bathroom. In the bathroom i text my husband saying we should just leave, because I'm not gonna give these jag offs one single cent. Especially after what seemed like some sort of white woman shake down. I was my hands, and you know what, I took your stupid soap dispenser too because GET BENT. I have your soap dispenser now, eat dog dick!!! I regret nothing and I'd go back in just to take something else that's tacky and that I don't even NEED.
google avatar

Stephanie M.

Yelp
Cute little spot along S. Pearl. They offer a wide variety of tacos you can mix and match. The tacos are on small tortillas but stuffed so full of goodness they barely fold! The smoked chicken was my favorite. I didn't care for portobello. The jalapeño cilantro margarita was full of flavor and not too sweet, just the way I like it. Friendly staff. I would love to come back and try more of the menu.
google avatar

Jen B.

Yelp
This place is conveniently located in platt park on south pearl. It is pretty small inside and could use a bit more decor but their pozole is so good !! Their margs are delicious and so are the tacos, albeit a bit over priced. They have a good happy hour. I think the food at this uno mas is better than the one on 6th
google avatar

Diana A.

Yelp
This is a hole in the wall local bar and restaurant. It was busy at 6:00 on a Wednesday. The menu serves tacos and one taco is pretty filling. We ordered the picked red onion and vegetables which I'd recommend to jazz up your tacos. We ordered three different salsas, guacamole and the queso which were all great. It was noisy and crowded but we enjoyed our visit. Lots and lots of tequila choices if you're into that.
google avatar

Yelp
Very tasty spot for street tacos! I got the Al Pastor, Duck Confit, and Barbacoa and would rank them best to worst (even though they were all really good) Duck Confit -- Al Pastor -- Barbacoa. My boyfriend got Al Pastor, Duck Confit, Pork Belly, and Carne Asada and ordered them Al Pastor -- Duck Confit -- Carne Asada -- Pork Belly. His only complaint was that one end of the pork belly was very chewy. We also started with the chips and salsa, really loved how the chips were hot, and all three salsas were good and we got two house margaritas which were very good and strong! There are only about 5 tables inside right now due to social distancing, which was rather nice - based on my last review, I guess I had a problem with the noise level, but it was totally fine when we went this time. Apparently they also have happy hour from open-5pm on Saturday AND Sunday, which I think is just awesome, so we will probably be coming back more here for weekend lunches!

Yelp
Amazing tacos and great service! I had the Barbacoa and el pastor. So good! We will definitely come back!
google avatar

Jean T.

Yelp
We were craving their street tacos, so returned for lunch. Oooh. Wonderful service, amazing guacamole, yummy tacos, drippy queso (which came without the jalapeños and chorizo that we ordered, but whatever), delicious quesadilla, and a giant burrito, which we had to take home. And tres leches cake!

Yelp
Good place for a casual date night. SPECS; THE PLACE: The location is very well centered and popular, while being surrounded by residential apartments. Very clean. THE FOOD: We happened to catch the last hour of happy hour (prices are worth it) and order their chips and salsa. It was served in a metal dish to keep them warm (simple but genius) along with 3 mild to spicy sauces. For entrées, we went with the street tacos. The serving size was was small - but to be fair - street tacos are always this size. my boyfriend has 2 Carne Asadas and 1 Alpastor. I went with 1 Carne Asada, 1 Al Pastor & 1 Sea of Cortez. Sea of Cortez : The smell of seafood was STRONG! Almost revolting, however, these were the BEST tacos and would've ordered more tbh. Carne Asada: Was tasteful and refreshing. Al Pastor: The one I was so excited for but let me down the most. This taco was DRY as a desert, the chunks are cut big and chunky making it had to eat and had no flavoring - not even the pineapple. Truly the worst al pastor ive ever had. So have any taco but this one. THE SERVICE: Excellent and family oriented service.

Yelp
Been coming here on and off for yearssss. In the beginning it was great. Then we experienced lots of misses. Stayed away for a bit hoping for some changes but stopped in on Saturday and nope. Service was good. Drinks were ok. Food...total miss. Mainly the meat. Carnitas was a soggy mess. Fish was bland and off. Carne asada was tough. Pork belly was inedible. Should melt in your mouth if done correctly. This was so chewy and the fat wasn't rendered properly so we left it all in the plate and just ate the cheesy tortilla under it. Guess its time to stay away from all of the Pearl St "gems" that used to be when Patrick kept up the standards.

Keely B.

Yelp
Guac was good, chips were good. Queso was good. Tacos were a bit of a miss - we had a fish, a chicken, and a pork (messy, not great flavor). The main issue was the overwhelming and never ending smell of the air freshner inside and then coming from the inside (and we were seated outside). I don't think I will come back.

Patrick B.

Yelp
The food is not very good, everything is too expensive ($75 after tip, for two people with one drink each), and our waiter was neither friendly nor helpful. They seemed annoyed with answering simple questions like difference between the two house tequilas and if we could substitute mushroom on one of the items. Maybe they were having a bad day. Honestly, the main issue is the food. The queso tasted like it was just melted Velveeta cheese with canned chile. The tacos were very boring, lacking flavors and sauces. Overall, a big meh... especially once we got the bill.
google avatar

Jay P.

Yelp
Started dining here back when we lived in Platt Park and my wife and I love this place. We've probably been there 20 times and have never had a bad meal. Good beer selection for such a small place. All the tacos on the menu are very good, you can't go wrong.
google avatar

Don R.

Yelp
Well first off, the service was top notch. Everyone was friendly, efficient and understanding of special needs. The food was quite tasty. I especially recommend getting the queso appetizer. Really delicious and enough for the six at our table. I had the pork belly torta, which can sometimes be a little dry, but with the black bean paste and crema this one was just luscious. The guacamole also had a perfect texture with a nice little tang. Also a very nice variety of salsas for distinct tastes. I especially thought the prices were very friendly as well. I only wish I lived closer so I could go there more often.
google avatar

Lavida G.

Yelp
Literally the worst tacos in all of Denver! Bland as mauve! None of the salsas had flavor , most whitewashed tacos ever. The el pastor had almost zero flavor, the asada was over cooked . Only thing decent was the mahi tostada.

Alexandra R.

Yelp
Great neighborhood taco spot. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a very family-friendly environment too and they always help with my kid's picky requests.
google avatar

Megan H.

Yelp
Finally made it to this location yesterday! The three salsas that came with our chips and salsa were all three sooo good! Especially the verde colored salsa - That was unreal good. The queso was excellent too. I had a Pacifico and margarita, both on happy hour! And I snagged a delicious carnitas taco before I headed out which was LOADED with pork. Great spot - I will be back!
google avatar

Brogan M.

Yelp
Went to Uno Mas for the first time and absolutely loved it! The tacos were completely loaded with all the right toppings to complement each type of meat/ taco. Tried the carne asada, al pastor and barbacoa. Appetizers were great too, we got the queso, guac, and green chili. The only reason that I am not giving it a 5 star rating is that the tortilla chips were not my favorite. Seemed like something you would easily buy in a grocery store. Besides that though, really enjoyed the experience. Service was great and timely. Outdoor seating area was lovely and the tres leches cake for dessert was mouth watering-would highly recommend and will be returning!
google avatar

Tod B.

Yelp
Fresh salsa and chips and we had steak tacos good and Mahi taco along with the shrimp taco good Did have a hair in my rice and the waitress took care of it and offered free dessert Salsa mixes were good Nice neighborhood bar to visit Can't wait to try something else next time

Natasha D.

Yelp
used to go to Uno Mas often. moved away. visiting Denver this week, I thought I'd go back to a favorite restaurant. boy has it changed. got a pork belly taco and no kidding, it was All Fat, no meat, and covered with a red sauce that is nothing like the sauce that used to come with it. huge disappointment. waitress took it off my bill. sea of cortez was better but lacked the flavor of a year ago. Uno Mas used to be high quality gourmet flavorful tacos. I hope they will become that again.
google avatar

Dan C.

Yelp
I loved the tacos here! I am a huge taco fan and I enjoy finding new taco places. My friend introduced me to this one when we drove down to Denver for lunch. Finding parking wasn't too bad and the street was closed down for a market when we arrived. They had very limited seating because of COVID and we ended up finding a seat on the back patio. The tacos were really good and big. I ordered three tacos, but could have eaten two and been fine. There is a lot of meat on them for street tacos and the flavor is wonderful! The price is a little higher than I would have liked, but it seems that's to be expected these days for street tacos. Uno Mas is a chain restaurant and I noticed that there is one in Fort Collins now, so I might be visiting that one as well. Great food!
google avatar

Max R.

Yelp
Pretty good happy hour deals and tacos. More American style tacos than street tacos but good flavor overall. The guacamole is very good as well. They have a salsa trio, but would only get the medium/green salsa in the future. Good drink deals during happy hour but would not order them at full price. The duck taco is one of the better ones so would recommend that as well as the pork belly. Free chip refills is definitely nice as well :). Overall good happy hour spot to meet friends. Recommend outside seating if weather permits.
google avatar

Steve L.

Yelp
Fantastic, amazing street taco selection. Great sandwiches and desserts too! A taco Tuesday must...
google avatar

Anastasia Y.

Yelp
Well, I'm already excited to come back... and I'm still here. The happy hour is really where it's at. $5 margs, $2.50 salsa trio SIGN ME UP. Although, the salsas are interesting- one very watery spicy red one, a creamy acidic green, and a very red more traditional salsa. Not my favorite salsa trio, but still good. The amazing news is that the tacos are mega delicious, my favorite being the smoked chicken. It's a great collection of flavors paired with the pickled onions. Barbacoa is also so tasty. All great to enjoy out on the back patio!
google avatar

Kaley S.

Yelp
We came for happy hour and got the guac, house margs, pork belly, chorizo and duck tacos. The guac was okay, not the best I've had but I don't care for tomatoes in my guac. The house made chips were really good! The pork belly taco was the best, I actually ordered a second. The chorizo is house made and too runny in my opinion. I was disappointed by that. The duck was just okay as well so I can't give more than 3 stars. The atmosphere was nice, very small but they have a patio if the weather is nice enough you can get outside. Prices were descent for happy hour. The margs weren't anything special for a house marg. I can't say I would be craving to return or say it was particularly unique. I do love the area and the service was amazing! You can get in and out in less than an hour easily.

David G.

Yelp
I used to like this place and recommended it to a friend. She hated it. Our last time there was not very good. Won't be back even though the place is really close to our house and an easy walk. Seems to have gone downhill since the owner died.

Yelp
I'm not sure why, but I hopped into the FC location for the first time since I work in Denver and the food was so different compared to their other stores. Not in a good way. Pastor was like shoe leather and the duck was a cold and greasy concoction.Got a look at one of the cooks and I'm pretty sure he was hammered. Now I'm really wary to go back to any of the locations. I never complain, but the place needs some eyes from management.

Yelp
I was so hungry I forgot to take photos! We stopped in at the suggestion of an employee at a nearby coffeehouse, and it was fabulous! The guac was delicious (not spicy at all) and the salsa trio was really, really good. I liked the pineapple habanero best (what a kick!), but the salsa verde was also delightful. The only one I didn't love was the pico. I also got a chicken mole taco and a house chorizo taco. Both were excellent! The mole had fantastic flavor and the chorizo was spicy and super good. Our server was funny and very helpful, as well. Great choice overall.

Yelp
Friendly service and staff, food came out quickly. We ordered the chips and queso, a variety of tacos and 2 drink specials. Drinks weren't our favorite but totally a matter of preference. Tacos were stuffed with filling so good bang for your buck but flavors left us wanting more. Overall ok.

Yelp
Delicious street tacos. Although I would recommend ordering at least 3 a person... they are a little small. We placed an order online for delivery, but needed to talk to someone over the phone. I love seafood, but my roommate is very allergic. When we called the restaurant they were more than willing to make sure that our tacos were in separate containers. Whew! I ordered the Sea of Cortez taco and the Grilled Shrimp Taco, both were delicious! I would order from here again. They also had vegetarian options for my roomate. An all-around win.

Yelp
Went to uno mas today for dinner. Here are the pros and cons: Pros - Carne asada taco was very good! Meat was juicy and flavorful. And I had some crunchy bits too which was nice. It was topped with 2 french fries, which was very confusing.. but i laughed at the 2 french fries, so I'll count that as a pro for making me smile. Of their salsas, the salsa verde was my favorite. Service was also great! Server was attentive and friendly. Cons - my friend walked in and was told she couldn't be seated until I arrived.... literally all the tables were empty. I understand it was policy, but people need to understand that exceptions can be made to the policy when you have LITERALLY ALL of your tables open. Second con was is that the street tacos are $3-5 per taco.. cahmaaaahnn that's too much for a street taco!! 3 tacos with a shared chips and salsa appetizer is gonna put you out $18 (tax and tip incl.). It's more than I'm used to paying for street tacos
