New England Restaurants Offering Government Shutdown Meal Deals | Eater Boston

"I saw that furloughed federal workers can get any individual deep dish or Chicago thin crust pizza free during weekday lunch (until 3 p.m.) at Uno locations in the region (dine-in only; one per customer with valid federal government ID; not combinable with other discounts)." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

I don't even know where to begin. From the moment I arrived I felt like I'd glimpsed something scurrying across the floor. Since my friends didn't see it, no one paid it any attention and we tried to enjoy ourselves and eat our meals. When we finished dessert we realized I was right. There was a small mouse scurrying across the floor. When we paid the bill we reported what had happened to the waitress, and her "surprise” reaction was super forced as if she already knew the rat was there and its presence were normal. One of my friends didn't feel comfortable tipping and she immediately said: "What do you mean, no tip? I added extra ice cream in your brownie!!! I'll remember your face the next time you come back here." First, my friend didn't ask for extra ice cream. Second, good service doesn't need "excessive good gestures" to prove itself. And no one is obligated to tip after realizing the establishment is home to a mouse. Both my other friend and I felt "coerced” to tip her. (It's worth remembering that up until that point the service had been okay.) We know it's not her fault the mouse was there. The restaurant urgently needs to contact the health department to prevent another incident like this from happening. Aside from that, the food was good. However, we should have not paid the bill. I felt uncomfortable the entire time and we only stayed there because we had already ordered and weren't sure what I had actually seen. The waitress called the manager to talk to us. He apologized and said he would pass the incident on to the supervisor. I think he should have at least refunded us or tried to give us a discount for a future visit to the restaurant, which I must say will not happen. It seemed he also knew the mouse was there all the time. Other people near our table got up and gave up ordering after seeing the mouse and all the incident.

I had a great experience at Uno Pizzeria & Grill! The food was delicious- especially the deep-dish pizza, perfectly baked with lots of flavor. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. The place has a nice, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for both family dining and casual hangouts. Service was quick, and everything came out fresh and hot.

This is a DoorDash order complaint-I ordered a farm pizza and I did not want feta on my pizza. There was no option to leave off feta and no comments were allowed to explain. The only option was leave off cheese, so I checked that. There were options for all other ingredients so I assumed cheese meant feta. My pizza arrived with no pizza cheese or feta. The toppings were falling off of the sad crust. WHO would possibly mean pizza cheese? Add an option for removing feta or allow special request comments. Had to throw it away.

Went to the Braintree location. I've never had a bad experience over the years. One of the few chain restaurants that prepares a GLUTEN-FREE pizza. Their menu has a reasonable variety, and the items are good. The prices are competitive and the service is good. I was there on a Friday night at 9p.m. the bar had 4 people. Seems like they continue to have weeknight activities. Done the Trivia night before, and it was fun.

A week ago Thursday, I had the singular misfortune of dining at the UNO at South Shore Plaza. I hate long reviews so here goes: -dingy, dirty and outdated decor -around 7:15 p.m. no host, waiter finally noticed us and brought us to a table but he really didn't know the menu or how to wait tables -no bread/butter -no condiment setup -I ordered my steak rare it came medium/medium-well -I ordered broccoli, I got sweet potato fries -my friend's spaghetti portion for $29 was pitifully small -then came the mice scurrying across the dining room floor in every direction -stay away!

Came here after an afternoon of shopping. I have always loved UNO’s for app’s and drinks. We got the the crab and shrimp dip w/ chips, it was tasty and it was a great portion. Then my friend and I shared the Spicy Hawaiian thin crust pizza. She hated it, but I thought it was okay. The pizza was full of flavor and it was a great share for 2 people. The bartender Sarah was very nice and personable. Great pore on the wine and my friend loved her apple martini’s. I would come here anytime after a day of shopping.

They helped our group out while d&b were filming a movie. The food was OK and the bar tender could've been a little more welcoming was my only complaint. She kinda had an attitude our whole party noticed.

Anytime I am back home it is always on my To-Do list to get me a deep dish from UNO’s. As a native of Boston, UNO’s is one of the brands that I miss now that I live in Georgia, however, every time I come back it’s instant love all over again. During this visit I sat in the bar area. I don’t know how she did it, but somehow Jennifer was able to be the Bartender and our Waitress and provide stellar service. Her warm welcome and personable demeanor really added to what I knew would already be a great meal! Starting off with the Mozarella Sticks, they were good. I would have preferred them to be a bit more well done and toasty, however, what they lacked in toasty-ness, they made up for in flavor. The cheese was ooey gooey and the dipping sauce was a seasoned cup of sauce perfection. For my entreé, can you guess what I got??? Of course it was a deep dish. Just as I remember, the crust was rich and buttery with a flaky texture that adds to the food driven experience. The sauce was perfectly thick and had the authentic Chicago flavor profile I adore. Lastly, the meats were of great quality and all well done. The pairing of the meats and cheese in perfect ratio to the crust truly makes for an amazing time. As always, I loved the food, atmosphere, and service received from Jennifer… Until my next trip home, thanks UNO’s!

Yelp
Heard great things so stopped in for lunch. The decor was nostalgic. I think they may have been short staffed as it took awhile to be seated, then once sat we waited quite awhile for a server. It was not very busy either. Servers were nice we had 2 since one was training. Orders drinks for the table again took awhile. Our appetizer was delicious though! Burrata I think it was called. I had the turkey blt it was yummy. Just the right amount of ingredients for a delicious sandwich. The fries had some sort of seasoning which was amazing. One kid had super pepperoni pizza and the other had a kid cheese pizza. They both looked good and they enjoyed it! Little one had a make your own sundae super cute and just the right size for a little one. Mom had a pizza I forgot which one she got. She said it was the wrong one (she wanted what she had a few days ago) but this one was just as good. Will be back whenever I'm in town to visit.

Yelp
Decided to visit and try their New Menu TRIO DEAL besides other items. Four of us sat in the Bar Area at a booth and had a wonderful Server / Bartender SARAH! Very personable and attentive and took great care of us! THANK YOU! Will be back! It was the perfect time to eat, not too crowded!

Yelp
I enjoyed this place so much the last time I was there that I decided to go back. It was a Saturday evening and there were quite a few people sitting at the bar but the dining room seemed a bit quieter so I requested to be seated there instead. My server came over immediately to get my drink order and very soon after returned with my water and a beverage. By then I was ready to order so I ordered the sirloin steak and grilled shrimp plate. It came with two sides so I got red skinned potatoes and grilled vegetables plus for another three bucks or so I added a side salad. I was given a choice of a Ceasar salad or a house garden salad and went with the garden salad. And for a side salad it was pretty big when the waitress brought it out to my table. The main meal was great and very flavorful. The service was fast and the server was efficient and friendly. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Loved our visit here! Dave and Busters for the games but definitely come here for the pizza. Kids meals are sizeable and food was hot and came out fast! Manager came by TWICE to make sure things were going well. Don't skip dessert, the carrot cake is top tier.

Yelp
I ordered a thin crust cheese pizza to go and when I got it home it was clearly a reheated pizza that tasted terrible and was cold. How can a restaurant serve reheated food, totally unacceptable. Beware of ordering cheese pizza to go!!! I am so disappointed in UNO'S
google avatar

Steven W.

Yelp
I have been coming to Uno for years, now next to Dave and Busters at South Shore Plaza. I love their shrimp and crab fondue with garlic bread. The cheese helps the dish and the oil and grease is all kinds of deliciousness. They create the Chicago deep dish pizza which is what they are known for. I usually get the pasta dishes but they also make a mean burger. Sometimes service takes a while but they get it right and are kind.

Yelp
Phenomenal gluten free pizza Exceptional gluten free options Terrific staff and managerial team kevin and Kelli and Brad Wonderful experience Due to my allergy oftentimes I go to a restaurant and people just don't understand - they were interested to know, they cared and they took it seriously! A must try! #ny

Yelp
Ordered a deep dish pepperoni and classic Detroit style. Both were burned, especially the Detroit. Actually trashed the Detroit style because of how bad it was. The deep dish pepperoni had about 10% pepperoni. The red you see are tomatoes. Picked on the way home. If I lived near Braintree I would've returned it. Absolutely no care with quality control. An establishment, especially one like Uno's should never allow anything like this to leave the kitchen.

Yelp
Thank you so much to all of the Unos staff for making our daughter's birthday celebration a huge success this evening. Food and hospitality were perfection. We had a great time! Clean diningroom and bathrooms .. attentive servers .. barely any wait time. Thank you again!

Yelp
Great bartender. Very fresh house salad. Good music. Pizza just as I remembered it! Signed up for the rewards app. Free individual pizza for signing up. You can use it after 24hr. Deal!!! Good lunch stop. Salad and pizza for $10.00 bucks. Can't beat that.

Yelp
Went to lunch here yesterday. Was a great experience. Server was excellent. Very attentive, pleasant and checked in with us from time to time. I had a lunch special, Cesar salad and individual pizza. For under $10. What a deal. Had a taco pizza. Was excellent. Loaded with flavor. Cesar salad was good as well. My daughter had a salad with a veggie burger on top of it. She really enjoyed her meal. Hadn't been here in years as I don't live in area. I do hope to get back. Food and service were both excellent..

Yelp
Everything about this restaurant bothered me -- customer service, food, wait time, etc. I figured that this would be a reasonable option for lunch on a weekday. Come to find out, their entire system was down which resulted to a long delay. The host was unable to seat guest because she did not know which table was available. Prior to putting my name down on the waitlist, she informed me that it would only take 5 minutes. 30 minutes go by and we're still in the waiting area. I requested to remove my name from the waitlist and as we walked out the door, the manager stopped us and said he could seat us right away. Another party came in 10 minutes after us, but they were seated within 5 minutes.... All orders had to be handwritten by the servers so the kitchen was backed up. Our server did not greet us until 15 minutes after we got seated and did not apologize for the wait time. The manager took our order and our food took about 45 minutes. The food was very disappointing and certainly below standards. We ordered a baked ziti with chicken and ricotta cheese pasta and a chicago meat market deep dish pizza. Both dishes were undercooked -- the top was hot, but the middle and bottom was still cold.

Yelp
My meal was 10 stars (honey chicken salad) and all the food I saw looked great. Lunch menu price unbelievable, 3 of us under 50.00 and that was with a 10 dollar tip!!

Yelp
So glad we finally returned to Uno's. We hadn't been back since before the pandemic. Jeanette, our server, made our night. She was friendly and went over and above her duties. Jeannette explained the $10.99 pasta special and the beverage specials, Oktoberfest or Goose Island draft for $6.00, and the bucket of beer special. What a bargain! We were impressed with the beer list, which includes several local craft beers. We shared the berry and goat cheese salad; the melding of berry, walnut, and goat cheese was delicious, although the grapes didn't seem to complement the flavor or textures. The shrimp scampi pasta was cooked Al dente with a light sauce that enhanced the shrimp and tomatoes. The deep-dish ravioli meat lasagna was a bit too spicy, but delicious if you like spicy meaty lasagna. Jeannette told us about other specials such as kids' night & pizza special nights, and suggested we join Uno Extras and download the app to stay informed. She also mentioned the kid's Pumpkin Decorating Party, on Oct. 17, 2023. (Hope you read this before it's too late.) The service made our night at the Braintree location much more than at the typical casual Uno's or pizza parlor. We can't wait to return with the little ones!

Yelp
Do not be mistaken, this is in no way Chicgao pizza. Flimsy crust. The sausage was bit ground. And sauce was wrong. I'm from Chicago and the real Pizzeria Uno is nothing like this

Yelp
This is the first restaurant that my fiancée and I went to when we met!!! Who doesn't love UNO's though... When I come here I refuse to get anything but the deep dish pizzas and I love that they have the build your own pizza option; I get pesto sauce (no tomato sauce), mushrooms and roasted red peppers. Literally HEAVEN in your mouth. Another thing you should know about UNO's is that if you sign up for their mailing list they send all types of coupons, buy one get one free pizzas, after work deals, weekend deals, percentages off of your bill, you name it. The customer service here is great too, so I guess that's a perk!!! Couldn't mentally get past the food :)

Yelp
This is a 3.5 star review. I went here last week and ordered the chopped crispy chicken salad and pizza skins. The salad had fried chicken tenders, mixed greens, vermicelli, bacon, tomatoes, and cheddar cheese. It came with honey mustard dressing. It was yummy. The pizza skins were like a small chicago style pizza with mashed potatoes and bacon and cheddar cheese on top of it. The pizza skins were good but I wished they added more cheese on it.

Carre L.

Yelp
Pizza is pizza, a slice... great snack... you're hungry in an hour. If you're looking for a meal and you're looking for deep dish.... hit Uno's. Staff is always great. Sarah, Janette always take wonderful care of clientele, even when the only staff manning the floor. I stop in a few times a week when charging my ev at the South Shore Plaza. Have not been disappointed yet. Also, M-F 3 to 6 and 9 to close (12:30 or 1 am) Happy Hour Apps.

Yelp
Our server Stevie was great an polite , there was a issue with our order in the kitchen we order a Chicago meat market pizza and they made a tomato and cheese ! The manager wanted us to accept that they weren't going to make another ! Lol for real , noooooo , even the other staff was baffled about ! This sucks we enjoyed this place for years but no wonder company is falling apart ! I will miss uno's , Braintree I will not come back ever again !

Yelp
I ordered steak and shrimp and let me tell you the steak was over cooked and dry. I ask for my steak cooked medium and I received it dry and well done! So I guess here at UNO's if you want your steak medium just tell them raw and it will come out just right! Never in my live have a been this disappointed in a steak!

Yelp
I've come to this restaurant a few times, but tonight the manager was super nice! The food was okay. I ordered the Mango Sangria and I was a bit taken aback because, first of all it wasn't a wine glass and secondly it wasn't very tasty at all! The waitress was honest, "bless her heart", when I asked if they typically serve their Sangrias in a glass and not a wine glass. She said, that she was new and really wasn't sure. I smiled and left the matter alone. I prefer my Sangria in a wine glass, but that's just my preference for the record. So I ordered the Moscow Mule and it was a better choice! All day long! Anyway, they did not have cheesesticks for the "Pick 3" appetizers, and so we ordered the pretzel bites, but something happened with our order. The manager was nice enough to remove that from our ticket. Our waitress was really nice to it was a fairly pleasant experience!

Yelp
10/31/2014 visit Last time I went to Dave & Buster's, I don't think this Uno's was there yet. However, when I researched Uno's locations recently, thar she was! We opted to stop here for take-out because our original choice ended up being closed for the holiday (that being Halloween), and I recollected a recent email blast about a 50% discount Halloween dinner take-out only special, and we had mouths waiting back home to feed. My memory did not fail me. We found Uno's and they did have this discount going on! They were also willing to honor the offer even though I did not have a copy of the printed coupon on my person. After placing our order, we were given a time estimate of 45-60 minutes, so we took off for a run through nearby Target. We returned 25 min later figuring we could sit and chat, but our food was ready! I had neglected to ask for paper and plasticware, and so we found none in the two bags we had picked up. The count of items seemed right though, until I realized my special off menu order of the Spinoccoli (my absolute favorite pizza combination in Uno's history - spinach plus broccoli... get it???) had chicken on it, and artichoke hearts, and no broccoli. I decided to call to let them know so that they could figure out how to avoid this error in the future. The person who answered the phone said that the Spinoccoli pizza has chicken. The fellow she then passed me on to agreed and thought that perhaps the kitchen had tossed on the artichoke as a bit of creativity. But I pointed out the whole spinach + broccoli = Spinoccoli thing, and asked, so where's the broccoli? They finally realized that they had instead sent us home with a similar sounding Chicken Spinaci - ah, mystery solved! And if I could come back over, they'd fix things for me, or alternatively he could email me a coupon. It was too late to head back over for them to make things right that night - we were already back at home and people were hungry. Okay, I was hungry. But I checked my email the next day and so far no coupon... 24 hours after, and still no coupon, so I called and spoke with the General Manager. He agreed that this was too long a wait and said he would email me something within the hour. The Spinoccoli had been removed from the menu for a year now, but is still really popular. They took the Spinoccoli button off because it was being pressed in error too often, but that was not meant to be an excuse. He'll be sure to impress upon the staff to follow through with promises. In case the GM had perhaps jotted down the incorrect email, after seeing nothing in my in-box well over an hour later, I called and spoke with the GM again. He sounded flustered and he told me that they had a busy night so he had not been able to get to the office, but he'd send out the email before he left the restaurant that night. I appreciate receiving the email shortly after midnight, however, I felt that the GM's broken promise after the initial broken promise of a manager serving under him, after having received the wrong pizza and dealing with a debate that it was the right pizza, deserved more than an excuse spoken in a harried manner. The lack of a simple "I'm sorry" for having not followed through on his personal promise spoke volumes, and caused me to feel that I was now being viewed as the offender, rather than as the offended. 3 stars for the food. Go medium rare with the steak tips; medium was tough. But their signature Wowza Sauce for the Wowza steak tips (sauteed with mushrooms and onions) from their 2 for $12 menu was quite tasty, and the vegetable medley was not overcooked. 2 stars for the service. Training here needs to be upped. *** 11/5/2014 - got an email from Corporate apologizing for a less than stellar experience and service due to the unexpectedly high volume of customers drawn in by their special Halloween offer. Nice. 4 stars for Corporate. *** 12/2014 - I finally returned to Uno's with my apology email coupon in hand. I called ahead to place my order for their off menu large Spinoccoli pizza which has spinach and broccoli. Yes, I was very specific, to minimize (I hoped) any possibility of another error. The counter was unstaffed when I arrived, so I waited, till a lady came back with a soda for the party waiting ahead of me. My pizza was ready. And it was happily correct - we peeked. I did however find it funny that when I handed over my email coupon that 1) I was asked my name, and 2) having had to read the email to figure out what it was I gave them, no acknowledgment of the error (such as perhaps an apology for my past inconvenience) was made. Oh well. I had my pizza, and it was good with pleasantly firm broccoli florets. *** 6/2015 - their pizza skins $9.99 were terrific as ever, but funny enough, while the sticker on my twin boxes clearly stated: sour cream, spoon, wetnap, cutlery pack, all that came with mine were the little cups of sour cream stashed in with my pies.

Yelp
Order a 7" deep dish cheese and tomato pizza and had it delivered via DoorDash. Pizza was undercooked where you could still see the cheese in its original form. The crust was still a little too soft as well. The taste was good, and the other food we ordered was decent, but I wish the pizza (what their known for, right?) was cooked properly.

Yelp
Fast service. The reason why this location is the better one in mass. Good food with big portions. Convenient location next to south shore plaza and Dave and busters.

Yelp
Really disappointed! Normally rave about this place. Had family in town and decided to bring them here. Arrived at 11:27am when they were closed though they were suppose to be open at 11am. No signs posted or anything Note: call before making the drive.

Yelp
This is a generous review. We had a bug in our appetizer and a napkin in our sour cream. The server didn't even offer to take the $6.00 app off the bill. I will be surprised if we don't get food poisoning. To follow it up I couldn't even use the bathroom before I left because not only was the bathroom filthy but one of the toilets was leaking all over the floor. There was a puddle of water throughout the bathroom. We will not be going there again.

Yelp
I've come here a few times in the past, and it's been good each time. The last time I was here was this evening for dinner with my sister. I ordered the honey crisp chicken salad, a huge fav of mine, and it was yummy. My sister got the portobello mushroom sandwich and it wasn't that great. She got it comped and the manager offered her something else off the menu. He was pretty attentive and made sure she was happy with her choice before we left. Thanks for that! Pizza skins sans bacon were consumed before entrees arrived, and we also got mango and raspberry flavored iced teas too. Service was good! It was a busy Saturday night. The only annoying downside? Annoying rowdy girl in the booth next to ours who kept moving our booth hoppin and jumpin around like she had ants in her pants. Like why don't you be civilized and not act like a 2 year old? End rant about annoying patron.

Yelp
I'm a regular customer at this UNo's,but my recent visit left much to be desired! They're generally ok. I went in for the express lunch special with the personal pan pizza & soup. *It took exceptionally longer than usual to get the pizza..& when I got it,the cheese was burned! The waitress charged me for a drink ( a soda) when I only ordered ice water.*Much BETTER attention could have been paid....petrhaps its the problem with less workers due to covid?

Yelp
OMG... no clue how this chain from the 1970s is still open. In this day and age of "good" pizza places in the Quincy area this old school behemoth is still in play. Carpet smells like cigarettes.

Yelp
Never again. At one time, this Uno wasn't bad. Now it is repulsive. Went to this Uno with three others on Friday before Fathers Day. It had always been crowded at dinner, with perpetual wait, but now, evening before Fathers Day, it was empty. That was very clear indication of what was happening at this Uno in Braintree. But my son had once liked it... but, NEVER AGAIN! We sat and ordered drinks, which were ice water for 2 of 4, iced tea and a Mojito. Tea came first. Waters came about 5 minutes later. Mojito, which came 15 minutes after that, had no taste. Certainly no taste of rum! Waiter gave a bored stare and wandered off. Restaurant was virtually empty. Ordered guacamole and chips for appetizer. Guacamole and chips never came. After entrees arrived, we told the waiter the guacamole never arrived. He gave a vague shrug and said "oh, I must've forgot it." No apology, no interest. Dinners were a steak, a salad, a lobster roll, and a thin pizza. The pizza was all that was even edible. The lobster roll looked nothing like on the menu. It had no "pieces" of lobster. No discernible claw or knuckles or tail or... Just "flaked lobster" sort of like tuna salad. But a $20 tuna sandwich. It came with chowder, which had a very odd sour flavor. Like vinegar, or maybe spoiled food? Decided not to learn the hard way. Also made terrible mistake of requesting roasted vegetables instead of fries. The chunks of zucchini and squash were the consistency of used pencil erasers. Erasers would have had more flavor. The salad was only the second-to-worst entree. The greens were obviously from a bag, and not a recent one from any indication. Wilted, off color and dry--like something from the deepest shadows of a dormitory fridge. Pathetic. However, the amazing fact to emerge from this "meal" was that the sirloin steak, which in the past was okay, came out dark and gray after an order of "medium rare". The college student who had ordered it, had never before met a steak he wouldn't eat. Here it was: the first time he left a sirloin after 3 bites. He said not only was it terribly prepared, but his cafeteria at college serves even more edible steaks. That spoke pretty loud to me! After clearing 3 out of 4 plates still covered with "food" untouched (and, to be fair, a clean small pizza plate!) waiter wandered off, after the reminder that appetizer never arrived. He decided, it seems, that flirting with bartenders was preferable to working, so he disappeared for a long time. Saw him grinning at the bartender at the empty bar. When he finally reappeared (not long before I was thinking of dropping a couple of $20 bills and just splitting) I gave him a special coupon (20% makes no difference, if the food is repulsive). We left, and all agreed that this Uno is like a glimpse of Purgatory. NEVER AGAIN! guacamole and chips p

Yelp
After a friends recommendation and to satisfy our taste buds craving for a pizza we decided to try UNO. On a weekend you can expect to wait any where from 10-30 minutes. We were told that it would be 10-15 mins and the wait staff was right on with that. We got seated in 10 mins. We never felt like left alone right from the time we walked in, they got top notch customer service. If there was a rating for their customer service i would given a 5 star. We were taken care by Catherine and she was so kind, an enthusiast. She always checked on us to make sure we were comfortable. BTW this place is very good for b'days. I have seen two parties that were greeted with a cake and a b'day song parody by the staff. The whole atmosphere inside was pretty comforting. We ordered mozzarella sticks as appetizers. The service is pretty quick. We got them right away and enjoyed them. Then we ordered shroom deep dish pizza with broccoli cheddar soup. The soup was a little on the thick side which was ok. The pizza spoiled our night. To be honest we got to a point where we lost our liking for pizza and packed the rest for take away. It was not one of those pizza's that you would crave for. If not for their customer service this place would have been a 2- star. I would definitely go back to try out the other items on menu. Highly recommended for groups.

Yelp
My husband and I went here for dinner today and we didn't really have quite the experience that we wanted or had hoped for. We came in and stood waiting to be greeted at the hostess station for what seemed like forever. Finally a very nice gentleman came and greeted us. He sat us towards the back of the restaurant and a girl came over to take over. We ordered Mountain Dew and water to start off first while we browsed the menu. Right when the drinks came out, that's when we both thought, "oh no, something tells me/us it's not going to be a good dinner". Why? My husband's glass of water had FLOATING residue inside of it. It was brownish reddish peices of floating things. If you looked briefly you might have mistaken it for tiny peices of ripped, used napkins? Or even worse, food!? When the waitress came back to take our order I made sure to tell her first thing that we'd appreciate a new glass of water. So then we continued to order the ribeye steak and chicken stoc. pasta. The wait was super long. My husband estimated we probably waited 25 mins or more for our food and it didn't look THAT busy. It's a Thursday night for goodness sake. The waitress came back with the glass of water, and it wasn't even a new glass. She rinsed the glass off and put new water inside. How do we know it's not a new glass? Because the glass was wet on the outside proving it was roughly rinsed. How clean can it be if it was just rinsed when clearly I complained there was dirty floating things inside the glass. The waitress didn't bother to check on our food for us. She had to yell across the floor to the guy that originally greeted us and asked him to go "check on the food for 24" meaning us. He came back right away with our plates. Which means....maybe our food has been sitting there waiting forever and nobody came to check on it? My husband's roasted veggies were a bit too sluggishly burnt, and my pasta was a bit too salty. I'm a salty eater and if I say it's a bit salty, then please take my word for it. Overall, the 2 stars is because of the nice gentleman that helped us even when i felt like it wasn't really his job. He wasn't assigned to us. Otherwise my experience with the overall food and service from the waitress would be a 0-1 stars. Least to say we won't be coming back. There's nothing here that made us really say "you know, we should give it another try". There just isn't. Sorry.

Yelp
Staff is all over the place -- we were told as a table for two that it'd be a couple of minutes and end up waiting 35. That's just not acceptable, considering that the restaurant was pretty empty. Lady next to us got take out and had to wait an hour while they sorted out her order (they messed up after all that too and she had to just wait for them to slowly process a refund... Food ended up coming decently quickly (didnt leave, we were starving) and was a bit salty, but pretty decent. Took a good chunk of time to get the ketchup we wanted for our fries though. Probably won't come back.

Yelp
When we walked in to be seated the histess and server seemed confused on where to seat 4 people and it wasnt even busy. The food was good small portions for the cost. Our server wasnt attentive at all. Trying to get her attention.....like I said no attentive. Also they do need to properly clean.

Yelp
Don't knock Uno's because it's a chain. Their food is delicious! My husband & I stopped by for dinner Saturday night. We were seated quickly and our waiter was attentive. The Guac-alicious burger was wonderful! It was cooked to medium as I ordered, and the guacamole & cheddar cheese made it outstanding! The fries were tasty too. My husband enjoyed his personal deep dish pepperoni pizza. I recommend joining the "Insider Club". You'll get e-mailed coupons, and at least once a year (in the winter) this location throws a party for it's insider members - with samples of food and drink.

Yelp
This place was the worst in the world... Bartender was terrible... Phone came out terrible... They were more service than they were patrons and the food took forever I would get takeout if I were you

Yelp
The customer service was good. I always felt welcomed and invited into the restaurant, but the overall food was just okay. Fortunately, they're way better options for me to spend my money at.

Yelp
For a company that says Chicago Pizza this sure was not Chicago Pizza. I moved from Chicago 2 months ago, and today we were looking for a little piece of home. The deep dish pizza we got was not Chicago. The crust wasn't Chicago at all, way too bready which ends up getting soaked with moisture and soggy. The cheese smelled like canned soup for some reason. The sauce was just sad, and not made to stand up to being cooked on top of the pizza. Calling this Chicago Pizza is like pro-wrestling a sport. Then for some reason you put parchment paper below the pizza, so the moisture I previously talked about soaks into the paper so it sticks to the bottom crust and tears away when trying to lift slices out of the box. Now before you eat a slice you have to lift it up check to see if there are loose bits of paper attached. All in all this was a disappointment in several respects. This location seemed clean, and the people were nice, but in total it is the decisions of their corporate office to create subpar recipes and package them in a short sighted way that have lead to such a deserving two stars.

Yelp
Went in thinking quick dinner on a Saturday night, I was wrong. 15-20 minute wait for the dining side so we decided on the lounge. The waitress came over within 5 minutes for our drink order, ordered drinks, and waited 10 minutes for drinks. Put in our order which was 2 appetizers; a pretzel and pizza skins, and a pizza. Appetizers took at least 30 minutes to come out when they did the pretzel was hard and luke warm and the pizza skins were basically just a crust with potatoes in them barely any cheese or bacon. Waited another 15-20 for the pizza, the manager brought it out because the poor waitress was clearly over-sat and was running around trying her best to accommodate all her tables. When the MANAGER dropped off the pizza we had no silverware or plates he didn't seem to care. We were in a hurry and needed to leave, waited 10 minutes the waitress finally brought over plates we asked for a Togo box and the check at that point. While waiting we decided to try the pizza. It was cold, don't think it would've gotten as cold as it was just while we waited for plates, clearly it was served warm at best. The waitress brought our check and couldn't have felt worse, she could tell we were in a rush. It was the first time I'd been there in probably 10 years, and thinking it's definitely going to be my last.

Yelp
Pizza had no flavor and sauce was basically just tomato chunks. I wouldn't go back here. The personal pizza was super pricey too.

Yelp
Waited for 50 minutes for online taking out order, and the staff forgot to give me utensils and dipping sauce. Had to go back and get then. How to ruin you Friday night? Come to UNO

Yelp
This uno's food was good, but that may have been because of the hunger we were facing after waiting almost a half hour for our single appetizer and another forty minutes for our actual meals. All the meals were very yummy, the wait time was the main issue, so much so the manager even noticed it and apologized. Although, he said our food would be out soon, and we then continued to wait another 20 minutes.

Yelp
Service was great!! Food pretty good. I sat in the bar where you hear a CONSTANT phone ring. My fantastic server told me it was the FAX MACHINE ringing. Annoying, so ANNOYING. The great stuff, friendly service is DIMINISHED by the constant phone ringing. This was not a pleasant experience. Unplug the fax, make the ringing stop....please for love of phones make the ringing stop. Management take care of this issue, it's soooo annoying.

Yelp
I came in tonight with a family of 5. 30 min wait. They seated EVERYONE ahead of us. Even people that came in after. We went up to see what is going on: THEY FORGOT TO PUT OUR NAME ON THE WAITING LIST. I felt rushed to order everything at once. The food come out of order: app food the app. We have been sitting here for almost 30 mins. It's still not here. My shrimp was like rubber. The steak was dry. The pizza skins were under cooked. The waitress was very nice under the circumstances. Go somewhere else. My son said the ketchup was the best part.

Yelp
Was there from 6:30 to 8:40pm and most of the time was sitting there waiting for the kitchen. Only got drinks once because our waitress never came by. A drink was accidentally knocked over and never refilled. The three adults were served there food after and hour of waiting and it was barely warm. The toddler? Her food was brought out 10 minutes later and the pizza had no cheese on one side. Server dropped off the food and would rush away. Tried to talk to a manger, he could be seen at other tables but he never came. Even waited for him as the hostess went to get him and visibly didn't care that a customer wanted to talk to him and ignored us. No plans of returning to this location again.
