UNO Pizzeria & Grill

The burger was good. Chicken sandwich was burnt. Ordered a strawberry daiquiri and received a margarita with some strawberry syrup. It even had salt around the rim..... was here over an hour. Not impressed. Our waitress was sweet and accomodating though.

I Stopped by Uno at Union Station before my train ride... service was great. My server Was very attentive. Mango blush sangria was so so delicious. Vegan thin crust pizza... well, just ok. It was less than like warm when it arrived. It was beautiful i must say, fresh veggies all around, but super cold. My server immediately brought me over some extra hot marinara as I requested which helped quite a bit. He offered to bring it back but i am not accustomed to doing that. It tasted ok. Crispy bread pudding bites were actually quite good! And tasty.. I enjoyed my location and had great views of the train station, just wish my dinner was better.

This was my 1st. time dining at UNO Pizzeria & Grill. What a wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious & our server Kiona was such a delight. Her beautiful personality made our day. It's nothing like having someone that goes far & beyond giving the best customer service. I know that I will be eating at UNO again. This was a day trip adventure, the next time I'll probably visit the one located about 20 minutes from my home in Canton located in Baltimore MD. Thanks for making our day, until my next trip to DC.💯❤️

Im a native of 43 yrs and have been eating at Unos for many years. My favorite was the Georgetown location (RIP). While there are a few staples I miss like the All American the food is still as delicious as it was 25 yrs ago! The Potato Skins are a classic & a must try if youve never had them. However, the service was HORRIBLE. We waited 15 mins for a server to come greet us. Then when he did finally show up it toom another 10 mins for him to bring our sodas. Our food took so long it was crazy. We will definitely return because the food is still really amazing but the service took away from our experience.

The deep dish pizza wasn't good. It was actually awful. Cold, dry, and burnt. The pasta dish was also cold, and the flavor...well, we never found it. The salad was the highlight, and it was just mixed lettuce and italian dressing. The server was also missing in action the whole meal. It is not somewhere we would retun.

Everything was delicious! Came here with my family 2 weeks ago! Our waiter was very friendly as well. The service was pleasant and fast. We enjoyed everything here. Definitely recommend!

Had lunch here on a Saturday around 1:15pm. Lots of tables open, however due to staffing levels there was a 15min wait. Food was fantastic, and our waiter was great. I recommend you check this place out if you like deep dish pizza and give a little grace as the staff is literally running.

Service was amazing! Such a sweet and attentive team member found us the best seat in the house. Nice view of Union Station. Food was ok, was great to have Vegan options, thanks Uno!

There are signs taking you to the place but when you walk up you would think it it closed. Nobody sitting up front. You have to walk towards the back there it is. They try to keep it looking nice but you can see they have it invested any time in upkeep I think the place closes super early. It is closing at 8. Hmmm... I think it is a chain so why close so early? The waitress is so nice. Good to finally find a staff at a place that works for her job to show customers a good time. Got the single pizza it is kid size. Ordered wings so we'll see how those are. The uno deep dish is amazing!! Wow. Where has deep dish been all my life? Wow!! So the place may not be kept up with but the food is the bomb! I will come back for the food

I used to live in the area, a friend and I had been there in the early 90's and from what I can recall, there was nothing negative about the place. Just a good story to share with the family in 2024. Fast forward to that year, 2024, my wife and our two teenagers went to UNO's for lunch. We were seated at a table directly across from where I sat in the 90's. Staff and service were very accommodating and friendly. Teens loved their meal. The wife and I split a bbq pizza that was absolutely delicious. After eating I shared the story from the nineties. We walked to the other side of the dining area that overlooked the shopping area below. "Back in the day when my buddy and I were here we were asked by our server... "Have you guys seen the President?" We were told to come over here, and we saw a large crowd in a hat store down below, in the middle of the crowd was a bunch of people included media who were watching President Bill Clinton, as he was Christmas shopping." To this day I still wonder if he bought a blue beret. Thank you UNO's for the great food and memories.

So why every time we come here something annoying is going on. Last time, they didn't have a bartender so the manager was making drinks or the waitress had to go behind the bar. Now, this time we can't order drinks from the table and it took forever to be seated. However, our waitress was a sweetheart. It just seems like maybe the owners don't manage the schedule well. The food is decent.

I am posting an unusual review. My signature pizza for one was exactly as I expected, and done well enough not to be disappointing. I will state that up front. The reason what else I have to say might be odd is everything went wrong. But I am awarding five stars. I have been to this specific Uno's at least a half dozen times over the years. This visit, however, was the first time since the pandemic. I may be mistaken, but I believe they shut down, then came back. They have two adjacent venues, and I was in what looked like the children's tables (the seats were as low as stools). Three negatives. First, they ran out of dough for the Detroit style pie I had ordered. Second, I had to request the meal be boxed to go due to my train departure. Third, they had no parmesan packets and no pepper flakes either. You might believe these would add up to a pan (no pun intended). But I am oriented toward the positive. The internet, including this very platform, is too negative. Beyond that ideology, which I feel needs no defense since it is an attitude of charity, I believe what is as important for a restaurant as the food is the service. Three positives. The manager came over to apologize. I doubt he is an actor. He was sincere. He was sorry. The server assigned my table had a great attitude from the moment I sat down. She was very busy. And, finally, a random server was solicitous, without needing to be. And she, too, was harried. On top of all that, the manager was addressing some legal issue with a corporate office. I infer that from his need to get an incident report right away. So all in all, food fine, if not better than that; service, excellent. The other stuff, well, that's life. At a point of departure for transit, you have to expect the clock will run out, and you'll need to request a change to take out. Kudos to Uno's.

The plus is that, in busy Union Station, this is a place you can sit down for a while. Minus is everything else. It is loud AF here so no respite from Union Station nois Service was acceptable until it came for post-meal - then glacial. I had to ask for the check and then no one ever came back to see if I was ready to pay. I had to walk up to the server station to get assistance. Gross out moment: after the meal I went to the restroom which is accessed through the main restaurant and then down a short hallway. Well, not only could I see stacks of dirty dishes on biscuits trays just piling up, but also I saw a server walking towards the kitchen with a salad - and he picked something off the salad and ate it. Not an employee on his break - just strolling to kitchen, picking at the food. Ick. Bathroom was decrepit. At least it had soap. Oh and my pizza was awful. TL/dr: If you want to sit down in Union Station, this ain't it

I generally pack my own breakfast and lunch during the work week. Rushing and left both today. Never a problem because I can ALWAYS find a spot and Yelp. Decided to get wings at UNO's today. Not very busy for 1 pm. Smaller in size then the one I have previously been to but space is prime at Union Station. Restaurant is on the top floor with escalators and elevators available. Started off thinking I would have a Cobb Salad(an I had packed one for lunch), ended up with Buffalo Wings(my fave!) Still on my low carb kick so they fit right in with the program- fried just hard enough Buffalo style , no breading. Added my club soda and I am good to go. It did take them a few extra minutes to come and get my order but once they did, the server was very attentive and provided refills of my drink without me asking. They do have a bar area with seating. I did not sit in the bar, I had a bootharea but I could hear the server conversing with her customers and she was very accommodating and pleasant. All an all a good experience and I will be back for more wings

We were looking for a place to sit down and grab some food after our bus tour. Decided on Uno's, we walked in and were greeted and asked how many. The waitress went to clean the table with a sanitizing wipe, it didn't really work it left the table sticky but we made it work. Our waiter took our drink order but brought back the wrong amount/type. He did disappear for a bit but we realized he had tables o outside of the door and we were tucked behind a wall. He came back took our order and left, we didn't see him for awhile we had to track down other waitresses to get refills. Our waiter came with the food and then was gone again. And again we had to ask someone for our check. Overall the food was decent, my husband had a burger, my daughter had a chicken sandwich and I had the Caesar salad which was pretty big. If we are ever in the area again we may go back. If you are looking for a quick bite I'd say go here and skip shake shack

Uno Pizzeria is a pretty mediocre chain restaurant and its Union Station location isn't anything special. I had the Chicago Classic pizza and it tasted like it probably came frozen from a national warehouse that serves all of the Uno locations. That said, the Caesar salad tasted fresh, and the service was quick and attentive. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but if you're stuck in Union Station, at least it's better than Sbarro's.

Bad food bad service. You don't expect the food to be great at a train station, but here it's deliberately bad.

Gettin vegan pizza in DC on my bday ... been fans of Uno Pizzeria since my days in Boston Mass (early oughts) thrilled to find VEGAN CHEESE on the menu today. This Unos is located in the upper gallery of Union Station in DC. We were in a hurry to catch our train home so kept our order very basic - just the vegan cheese pizza, which the very sweet hostess assured us would be ready to take away in 15/20 minutes. That was about all the time we had so it was perfect. We waited in the area referred to as the patio. It is styled like a little train stop, really cute and cozy seating . When our order was up the hostess delivered it to us in a convenient takeaway bag w plenty of napkins on top. Will eat here again for sure !! YES: VEGAN FRIENDLY

I had a good amount of time before my train out of Union Station and decided to grab dinner and a drink at Uno. They have a very small selection of beer on draft. I am not sure if this is typical at this location or if it was just an off day. I could only get Kona Big Wave, which is a very average beer. They do have a nice liquor collection so if cocktails are your thing, then you will be in good hands. I was so impressed that they actually had vegan food options! I was expecting to get a sad salad or a no cheese pizza. On their menu they have Beyond Meat Burgers and a Vegan Deep Cheeseburger Pizza. No modifications need to be made on the pizza. It is vegan as is! I got the smallest size of the vegan deep dish pizza and it was a great portion size for one person. I absolutely loved the toppings. They had plenty of Beyond Meat and an appropriate amount of cheese. I loved the burger toppings like fresh tomato, pickles, and sesame seeds. It truly tasted like a burger pizza. Most importantly the crust was great. It had crisp edges and was still easy to bite into. No part of the crust was soggy and it could handle the medley of toppings. I had two slices of pizza leftover that I finished up during the train ride. The pizza was pricy at about $17. Given that it was fully vegan, I had leftovers, and it was conveniently located at Union Station I thought the price was fair. The main reason for not giving this location a full 5 stars is for the poor beer selection. I hope that improves when I come back to visit before my next train ride. Please have at least one IPA on draft.

I'm not usually one for Uno's, but when you are at a conference with colleagues and you attempt to agree on a place to eat, you go where the majority are either already at, or vote to go to. Plus, some days there just isn't really anything open nearby and Union Station serves as a one stop area for some dining. Two of my colleagues were already here when I arrived. Walked in and met them at the bar. It appeared that they had already eaten and were settling in for rounds of drinks. I would have joined them if it wasn't lunchtime and I hadn't eaten yet. They kept attempting to persuade me to join them, but I stood my ground, that was until I had some food to eat. I asked for a water and a menu when the bartender came up to me. Looked over the menu and wasn't impressed. I wanted something filling, but not too heavy. I decided pasta would be good and as you can see I went with the Deep Dish Ravioli Meat Lasagna. Was I thrilled by this? No. Was I confused by this? Yes. Lasagna is layers of goodness that hugs you from the inside. However, this does not categorize itself as lasagna in the least. It's like if someone was cleaning out their freezer/fridge at home and decided to throw items together and tried to call it a lasagna. Three "jumbo" raviolis is the base of this. The raviolis has ricotta cheese inside. Then to give you the illusion of a lasagna they just top it with everything that's meant to go on a pizza. Let's throw some pepperoni on there. Sausage, why not. Get a scoop of that marinara and plop in in there too. Don't forget some cheese so that we can hide the fact that this is nothing more than overpriced freezer raviolis. Did I eat it? Yes. Did I enjoy it? Not necessarily. Did I end up getting something else afterwards to hold me over? Yes. The hardest part about this is trying not to burn yourself eating it as it is served to you in a deep dish pizza pan. Try to cut that into bite sized pieces and not touch the side of the pan. After I managed to eat most of this I joined my colleagues for drinks. I went with a margarita and they were tasty. Even though they might have been a little too heavy with the ice. Great trick in watering down my alcohol, but what should I have expected. The best part about this place is the customer service. The bartender and manager were both pleasant and spoke with us. We were concerned for what turns out to be a regular here. They told us not to worry, she comes in often and they are aware of her.

We briefly stopped by Uno Pizzeria & Grill because it was the only place (I think) inside of Union Station that served adult beverages. Unfortunately, the service wasn't that great, and we left for another bar after a couple of beverages. The bartender was pretty nice; however, she really didn't hang out at the bar. On two occasions, I had to look for the bartender to get another round of beverages and the check. *Fortunately, we were not in a big rush to catch a train or a bus.* In both cases, the bartender was sitting at a table and doing stuff on her phone. During one of my 'voyages' to find her, she seemed to be a bit annoyed that I (as a customer) was asking for something. While bartender seemed to be preoccupied with other things, I will say that she did make pretty decent drinks . . . when she decided to grace us with her presence.

What we had: BLACKBERRY SMASH (me) + TOWERING ICED TEA (he) - [not pictured] SPINACH & ARTICHOKE DIP w/GARLIC BAGUETTE SLICES CHEESY GARLIC BREAD w/MARINARA SAUCE TRIPLE B (BACON BLEU BURGER) w/SWEET POTATO FRIES BBQ CHICKEN SANDWICH w/FRENCH FRIES The dip was subpar, but nothing a little garlic powder, black pepper, dried onion, parmesan cheese, and an air fryer can't fix. No stars 'lost', because everything else was amazing! We were thoroughly impressed by it all; the food, ambiance, and customer service were impeccable. A completely different experience from my 2012 visit, that's for sure. Our server (Charles) was great with recommending suitable options. First of all, our server Reyes was AMAZING. Attentive but not intrusive. The view of Union Station and the old world vibe make this a cool place to get a pizza. The pizza and salads were delicious. Overall, a great experience.

Located inside of Union Station, the place wasn't clean floors & tables sticky and not clean. They were short staffed so some staff was helpful and friendly the rest were not. The food was okay, I'm not a fan of deep dish so I got a thin crust it was okay & my soda was unfortunately flat.

My server Ed was very sweet! Helped me decide what to eat and was very quick. He checked on me all the time and was ready with the second course as soon as I was done the first. Ed was absolutely great at customer service. The ambiance was fine. It's Union station so a bit noisy but that's fine no complaints. The downside is the actual food. The food isn't great I got the chicken parm and the pasta was bland and the chicken was burnt. The sauce tasted straight out of a can and lacked soo much flavor. I also got the broccoli cheddar soup and it was just fine. There was nothing fresh about the food at all. Service was great tho!

This food is uneatable. Terrible service they are not nice and are screaming. They make pizza terribly, it tastes like plastic. Never come here ever. YOU CALL THIS A PIZZA. This is the worst food I've ever ate in my lifetime. Me n all my friends got food poisoning from this food and we never get food poisoning. I tried the lemonade there was dirt inside of it. Do yourself a favor and never come to this terrible place ever again!

Ooof. This is a newish(?) location for this chain located inside of Union station. We had time to kill before our train and wanted some drinks to make the 45 minute ride back to Baltimore go by a little quicker. What we got was strange customer service and a limited menu. Our server gave us a bit of an attitude through almost every interaction we had from start to finish. I'm not sure if we caught her on a bad day or what, but the whole thing made me really uncomfortable. We almost walked out but tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. My friend ordered a glass of prosecco that was almost completely flat. I got a mule (it was one of the few things on the menu that looked ok) and it was overly sweet. We asked for pickleback shots and were met with confused looks. Apparently, no bartender here knew what that was. Eventually, I guess someone found some pickle juice buried in a corner of a stock room somewhere and we got our shots. Service was slow and definitely not friendly. Overall, bad vibes in a weird corner of Union Station. Crazy to me how such a bustling building that sees so many visitors doesn't have at least one solid food or drink option.

I came on a good day, it seems. Service and food were good. Nice views of the concourse in Union Station for people watching from the cafe. Only drawback was it since it's open air to the station, it was pretty warm in that area during the summer day I was here.

We stopped here for a quick bite while our car charged upstairs. Service was extremely slow and very nonchalant. We ordered Jameson & Ginger's but the ginger ale was completely flat. We ordered food and it never arrived, we waited 30 minutes with no response or update.

While touring DC with a group of 33 kids and 5 adults, we made reservations for dinner. Our food was served and on the tables when we walked through the door. Although it may have been done with good intentions, many did not think it was the best idea. Our students were seated 8 per booth, even though it didn't work out for most and they didn't have much room to move or eat comfortably. The food that was served and although decent, it wasn't enough for all. Most students ate what was in front of them without complaint while others didn't eat due to not liking the remaining choices on the table. Closer to the end, I noticed one of the girls didn't eat anything and when I asked why, she said she wanted salad but once her table finished theirs, no more was brought out. At that time, the tables were starting to get cleared and it was almost time to go. I asked one of the servers for salad to go for my student since she didn't get to eat anything. That server sent me to the cashier to place the order and charged $10 for it. I paid, although our large party was still making its way out of the building. Our tour guide came back inside and spoke to the manager after finding out I was waiting and we're being charged, had the charges refunded and we were soon on our way. The manager was clearly upset by the way she handled the incident. I doubt we'll ever come back to this establishment but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else either.

The bartop where I sat was covered in sticky goop. You can totally tell it hadn't been wiped down all shift despite the fact that the place was half empty because there is no logical way to access this hole in the wall except through a sad little elevator tucked away in the corner of Union station. I got a Tito's and seltzer served with no ice and flat seltzer. A slice of lime was inconceivable. The place smelled like bleach and crushed dreams. I escaped as quickly as humanly possible after scribbling my name on the overpriced receipt that was tossed at me.

The bartender, Jazmine, sent us unrimmed margaritas. The excuse was "the machine was broken ". So, rather than rimming the glasses manually, I had to ask for a glass and plate to self rim. WTH! Uno, you a should be embarrassed! Theo, or server, went above and beyond ! He rescue your review! Thanks Theo!

Super slow service: I ordered just a glass of wine and a small pizza. After waiting over 20 minutes, I stood up and asked a server what happened to my order. They then gave me my glass of wine, but then after waiting another 15 minutes I stood up again and told a server I needed my pizza in a box and the check as soon as possible. I finally got the pizza and check. An apology for forgetting my order would have been nice. The conductor on my Acela saw my Uno Pizza Box and said he heard other passengers complain about Uno's very slow service.

Ghetto, Rude, and Dirty. Every booth at the location was dirty. Host tried seating us at a table instead of a booth like we asked. When we ask to sit at a booth the host frowned and rudely said we'd have to wait because none of the booths were clean and the floors were sticky. There was a lot of staff standing around not doing anything!! We just left. Been coming to this location for years, however you can visually see this place has gone down.

If I could give zero stars I would. 7 open tables and still a 15 to 20 minute wait because you can't manage your restaurant, all for abysmal food and disastrous service. This is one of the most ridiculous and terrible restaurants I've ever been to. Oh, and the ambiance is straight up port-a-potty.

Absolutely terrible service. Waited a 10 good minutes and never spoke to a waiter or waitress. We left, wandered around. Went back about an hour later for a drink before our train, I know sucker for punishment. Sat at the bar, we did get out drinks but it really felt like I was inconveniencing the bartenderess. Also, maybe the greeter at the front desk could put down his phone for just long enough to make eye contact. Just saying. We will NEVER be back.

I gave it four stars because our host and waiter was fantastic along with the food. I understand the UNO's is located on top of a rail system but seeing a rat run across into the restaurant almost made me lose my appetite.

The Alfredo was really good, but the pizza was more dough than cooked. The service is well because we are on a school trip. The ambiance well its decent. The location is in an airport.

Asia was AMAZING! She was super kind and understanding when we had a issue! She provided us with great feedback on what we order. She a very hard worker. Food was cool 7/10 I got the crazy roni. It was supposed to be pepperoni everywhere but it was decent . My gf got the deep dish. Pan was hot but pizza was cold. No worries got the sweet chili wings DELICIOUS 8/10 and the garlic parmesan they was 7/10 they had fresh garlic on them so yum! The drinks 10/10 I recommend the blueberry mojito I had 3! So that can tell you they good! Got the brownie sundae. It was so delicious vanilla ice cream could use an extra scoop with all that delicious brownie in the pan 9/10. Atmosphere was a 9/10

I don't eat at chain restaurants but I was in a jam before catching a train and ended up here! This place is pretty dirty. The flooring in the bathrooms is broken and falling apart. The tables and floors in the bathroom are sticky. Our server was the only server in the restaurant and was very sweet. She did a great job engaging with her guest and keeping everyone's cups full. We ordered a taco pizza on thin crust along with small side salads. The pizza was good for what it was. The salad was gross. The produce tasted really old.

Service by Mecca was good. The try their best. The problem is that they are in Union Station, where there is a high volume of people going in and out. Esp during rush hour. Though the pizza is NOTHING like real Chi town pizza, its tasty and decent pizza to satisty my tummy. The slow service, I blame is poor management skills and staffing shortages. I was ordering to go, howver, the two staff that was there, did their best under the circumstances. Download the app to get a free small pizza. I dont recommend eating in as service is slow, get it to go. If Mecca is your server, youll be in great hands.

The food was delicious. My bianco pizza was delicious and well done. The Mediterranean chicken had a nice flavor and you can taste the peppers and white wine. The spinocolli was a little sauce heavy but it was tasty.

Perfect spot for waiting for your train, had Three drinks and a couple personal pizzas, felt truly relieved

Still good though some of the recipes definitely changed and not for the better. The chicken spinoccoli ain't the same and the beef tips and rice was TOUGH!!! We could eat either but the Chicago style pizza was definitely GOOD!!! Wish I could get my money back or a gift card for what I spent on the other two dishes

Worst experience. I've never eaten at such a dirty place. The tables were dirty, the floors were dirty, silverware had leftover food, the plates had dried up food, the cups were so oily and dirty. Besides the place being disgusting the staff was even worse. They had such a bad attitude, and yelled at us whenever we asked were the restrooms were. They rushed us to eat our food. The restrooms had no toilet paper and did not even lock. I left we a really upset stomach. I don't recommend EVER coming here!!!

Stopped in for lunch while waiting to switch trains at union station in Washington DC. If your in a hurry and don't have a long layover, go somewhere else. If you got time to kill this is the place for you. The food is ok and the service is slow but good. Of course they seemed short staffed for the day. Management should have known travel would be heavy the day before Thanksgiving. This is the saving grace, they served the whole table at the same time. Nice job! Food wise this place is only a three, frozen patties on my burger is a three at best and I'm being generous. Service wise everything was wonderful. Just don't show up if your in a hurry.

My friend and I came into UNO's just as they were slammed with a dinner rush, this caused the food wait time to get excessive, however Amber grabbed the bull by the horns and made it her duty to make sure that we received the service that we came for!!! She turned a very frustrating experience into a fantastic one (and it's not her first time!) Ask For Amber!!!

The service was excellent but the new york strip was so small and it cost over 20$ the sides weren't much bigger either. The spot is probably better to get waisted than to eat honestly

UNO Pizzeria & Grill at Union Station in DC is a great place to go for delicious pizza and much more. I really like the location and atmosphere that they have available here. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need for the best experience.

the place is really nice and the food is ok but I asked for pepperoni pizza a good 3 times to my waiter and blud forgot my pizza each time. I walked out with no pepperoni pizza.

The customer service was buns, one of the workers was high. We got forced to eat fast, Alfredo and pasta was cold and served late. As well as everything being in a dog bowl

Went to UNO's in DC and were seated right away. However we waited about 20 minutes and were not greeted by a server at all. We had to ask an employee about our server and he was very nice and said he'd look into it but never got back to us. We eventually left since no one took our drink order let alone greeted us as our server. Very disappointing.

Found maggots in an appetizer. Service was good and they comped our drinks. Wouldn't go back.

Food is super subpar, often undercooked or not plated with human consumption in mind; the service was rude, and they tried to price gouge our tour group. would not recommend to anyone who is not a masochist.

Mini deep dish pizza overcooks. By the time the food was delivered the pizza was hard as a rock 17.99 for 7". Condiments and sauce not freshly made but dry. Will not reorder thru grub hub for delivery.

Unacceptable. The second I walked in I smelt lingering farts in the air which trust me is not very pleasant. Then I was greeted by a very unpleasant women that said many bad remarks to my fellow companions during our meal. The food was somewhat "edible" but I do not recommend. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE.

Came to have lunch on a Monday, waiting for my train. I got the lunch special. Pizza and salad. Took a while for my salad to even get to my table. The pepperoni pizza was just okay. Lackluster, not flavorful. Only 2 / 4 slices. Would not return.
