Uogashi Yokocho is a large, no-frills marketplace located on the 4th floor of the Wholesale Market Building of the Toyosu Fish Market. The industrial-vibe indoor space is filled with vendors selling spices & seasonings, kitchen ware, produce, pottery, raw/prepared/specialty foods, teas, souvenirs, knives, tools and anything Japanese food-related. Needless to say, I was in heaven and forgot to take a single pic! I was finally able to find individually-wrapped packs of seasoned nori which I love to snack on, as well as furikake seasoning which I use on rice and popcorn. My spouse spent a lot of time in the kitchen ware shop and bought yet another Japanese knife. On our way out, we bumped into the sushi chef of the restaurant we had dinner at a few nights before, so you know this is where the pros shop! OVERALL: A must-do when visiting the Toyosu Fish Market complex.

If you want knives and scaling items, anything too cook fish with, etc. This is where you can get the best prices. I did not need any new knives but the quality and the prices were hard to beat. Picked up a couple of fish scales and they were 30% less than the discount store we saw them at. There are some tourist shops here but this is where the tools, spices, and again great high quality knives are available.

Great place to visit. Many shops to find the perfect gifts.

It houses one of the main wholesale fish markets in Japan

Google
Not an authentic market experience. It's just an assortment of sushi restaurants.

Yelp
Located on the 4th floor of the intermediary wholesale fish market. A hodgepodge of shops selling everything related to the restaurant business. Nice to walk around and see all the products that are used to make Japanese food. Some shops give out samples and others charge a small amount to sample.
