I have used Up to Me Thai two times to cater and each time it has been a wonderful experience. People rave about how tasty the food is, we are able to offer vegetarian options, and the delivery is always on time. They have a cart to transport everything, the food is well packaged and warm, and they assist with setting it up. They also included printed name cards for all the food options. They are extremely professional and responsive. I highly suggest you use Up to Me Thai for catering and supporting a local small business.

A cute little Thai restaurant in Marlboro. It appears that the person working there was very pleasant and the place is clean. Ramen is one of my favorite foods, so I decided to try this place out. Sadly, this was my worst ramen experience. Even the pre-made ones you buy at the supermarket are much better. Broth tasted like of a box. Definitely not good quality ramen, it was poorly cooked and some noodles were undercooked. Pork was ok and the rest of the ingredients were cheap. Hope the owner sees this and improves it. Having said that, I can't comment on the Thai cuisine here, but it would be difficult to try it now since there are other options in town that offer great Thai food.

Google
I love thai food and my complaint in greater Boston area has been around the boldness of flavours I have found most places have flavours that are subtle but I am glad that they made my black pepper dish xxx hot as I asked and pad thai and panang curry were great too . Lunch specials are great deal with good quantity

Google
Best Thai food in Marlborough. The place has a couple of seats enough for 10 people. The food is amazing. The spicy pad thai is my go to. Love the favors and the lady working there is a really sweet person who provided great services.

Google
Wanted Chinese and the was the closest place to our hotel that was open on a Sunday. The place isn't much to look at on the outside or the inside which doesn't bother me. Being that we were in Marlborough on business we really couldn't carry out like what everyone else was doing. Only a couple of tables you can sit at. The boothes were broken down with suspect tables and broken benches. With that said, the food was good. Had the Chicken with Black Bean Sauce with white rice (Ordered separate. Not part of the meal) It was definitely hot, ended up burning my mouth, and it took forever for it to cool down. Once I could eat the food it was good. Marked China Garden down for not really having anywhere to sit other than the one table and for the food being so ridiculously hot. Maybe it needs to be that hot for delivery but not for eat in.

Google
Super cute little place, the first time we ordered online and showed up and they said they didn’t receive our order and we were kind of in a rush so didn’t get food. The second time we called it in and got the calamari and chicken wings. Both were pretty good , the dipping sauce was excellent as well as the Thai iced tea.

Google
First time ever writing a review, but I just had to! We stumbled across this place by happy accident while passing through town. Ordered the chicken pad Thai (left), beef Thai stir fry (middle), and beef spicy udon (right), as well as a couple of apps. Absolutely the BEST noodles we have ever had! On top of this, the dishes are reasonably priced and made by very nice people. We’ll be back!! And next time I’ll take a picture before eating half the food ;)

Google
A really solid Thai takeout-focused spot in the area. I really appreciated the proportions and quality of their food for the competitive price (Massaman curry, Kapow, Basil Fried rice). Also some offbeat food like their Blueberry crab Rangoon, which worked quite well. Other Thai spots really need to try harder on their takeout game

Yelp
What a wonderful find. We were visiting from out of state and looking for some comfort food. The yellow curry was fantastic the flavor was perfect. The bulgogi was cooked to perfection. The service was amazing. We sat and ate for about 45min and saw a parade of phone order pick ups as well as door dash. If you haven't been you are missing out.

Yelp
Serviceable pad Thai and pad see ew. likely not hydrogenated palm Oil. Small seating area, really set up for take out only, but enough for one person and a couple little kids. Will go again, if it's as good next time, will increase rating to 5.

Yelp
Delicious food, the Pad See Ew was fantastic. I tried the Tom Yum Seafood soup with Ramen which was delicious. Wonderful service. Ramen noodles were great.

Yelp
Finally made my way here to check this place out as I've heard many good things. I will say this: Up To Me lives up to the hype, and I was not disappointed!! The atmosphere of this ramen shop is a bit different than the others in the general area. You walk in and order from the counter, pay, then sit and wait for it to get to your table (or for it to be bagged up to go). Not a problem at all, I just noticed the difference - many ramen shops around are more of a "sit down" vibe with wait staff and such. I was promptly greeted when entering, and they were very good at recommending their favorite ramen to me. I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen (per recommendation between that and the spicy shoyu). First off, is the broth. Their broth is REALLY GOOD!! I found myself treating this more soup-like than most ramen visits, and went for the soup spoon a bit earlier than I usually do. The noodles were very "slurp-able", and the bamboo, scallion & sweet corn were great compliments! The second thing that will stick with me is the quail eggs. Another differentiator - these were tiny marinated eggs that come either 3 or 5. They were cooked & marinated perfectly... I kind of wish I opted in for the 5 as opposed to the 3!! The Chashu pork was really good, although it was different than what I was used to. It didn't really have that "Chashu" taste that I've grown accustomed to, and it tasted kind of like it was marinated in a soy sauce or something similar. Again, it was very very good. No complaints here, it just had a different vibe. A refreshing change!! Overall, I will definitely be coming back here. If you need a ramen fix and are in the Marlborough area - Up To Me is absolutely a viable option!!

Jon B.

Yelp
Up to Me has a wide ranging Ramen menu including the spicy one with pork that I enjoyed. The meat was especially savory - thick cut and flavorful against the strong spicy broth.Good veggies, but not quite as many as I'd like.

Steve D.

Yelp
I was working late in Framingham and randomly chose a DoorDash delivery from Up to Me. This is the hang over noodle with seafood combination that arrived. Very nice portion of muscles, squid, shrimp and scallops. It's the first time Incan say there was more seafood than noodles on the plate.

Yvonne W.

Yelp
OK let's be honest here this place has great customer service and their food is reasonably priced. I wouldn't say it is the best tasting but a great place to grab take out. A lunch special comes with salad and fried dumplings!!! Just don't find spots like this as common anymore. I enjoyed my food here and will definitely order more take outs!

Andy S.

Yelp
Within the limits of anecdotal experience and a narrow range of comparative shopping, I can honestly say that I have never had a less-than-superb meal from this understated (predominantly take-out) venue. I find it to be a neighborhood jewel. Tonight I went with a fairly predictable Yanqui menu, including Pad Thai (chicken) , Kapow (shrimp), Miso Ramen (pork), and Katsu (chicken). I might say that the salt load was higher than needed, but everything tasted fresh and well spiced. The prices are reasonable, too.

Amy S.

Yelp
Solid Thai spot with delicious food. We loved the Kimchi stir-fry, shrimp Pad Thai, Pad See Ew and Spicy Basil with Shrimp. The Spicy Eggplant with soft tofu would have been perfection but the eggplant itself came out a bit firm. We personally prefer it on the soft cooked side. That said, everything was delicious and we'll definitely be back when visiting the area.

Jessica J.

Yelp
I was so excited to find this quaint, intimate, unassuming Thai restaurant in the area. At dinner time, we were the only diners in the restaurant -- however, many customers came in to pick up their orders. We only saw one employee during our time there, a nice woman who served as both the hostess and waitstaff. We ordered Tom yum soup, hangover noodles, gai prow, and a Thai iced tea. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back for more!

Dawn E.

Yelp
There are several Thai options in Marlborough and this one squeaks by as the best. Tried quite a lot. Favorites are spicy basil rice, red curry, whatever, while not looking at the menu, they call their version of drunken/spicy noodles. Ramen is just okay. Definitely works if you're craving and someone with you wants Thai but there ate better options nearby. Overall, excellent Thai, fully recommend.

Yelp
I ordered delivery from this place a few days ago. The menu runs DEEP for everyone but especially vegetarians. For my apps, I snagged veggie dumplings and scallion pancakes (obviously). I was tempted by the fried tofu (woohoo for this app!) but ultimately decided against it because the mini fridge at work can only hold JUST SO MANY containers. The scallion pancakes were great, they were HUGE with the ideal balance of crispness with soft and doughy center. The dumplings were slightly better than average but not much. The dough/skin(?) was a bit soggy BUT I didn't eat this until the following day so that might be explanatory. For my mains, I snagged an order of their garlic udon noodles with tofu. I was ordering just for myself (lmao) and I COULDN'T RESIST ordering the penang curry. I considered omitting it, but can you REALLY evaluate a THAI place if you don't have their penang curry? Did you even EAT THAI if you didn't have penang curry? I'll let you sleep on it. The garlic udon noodles were exceptional. I'm a ho for pasta. You know those childhood picky eaters? The kiddos who will only eat apple sauce or marshmallows for every meal? That was me but for PASTA. Pasta was my staple until approx the age of 16. I never met a noodle I didn't like. Having said that, I think I am qualified to proclaim udon the best noodle. They're thic, they're juicy, they are an excellent vehicle for sauce. THIS dish was wonderfully flavored. I could have used some more veggies but actually NVM I wouldn't want to take away from the volume of noodles. Another amazing thing about this place is that they allow you to order an EXTRA portion for just a few bucks. It's worth it for this dish. The penang curry was GOOD, don't get me wrong, but not the best I've had in the area. The quantity of STUFF in it (veggies and tofu for my order) was disappointing. It was more like soup with an inadequate amount of solid contents. This isn't a must order for me which is out of character for penang curry. Overall, this is a solid Thai place in the area and a consideration the next time I'm craving Thai.

Yelp
Came here before. This is an add-on to the previous review. This time around, I thought I'd try other things. Let's jump straight to the food. Crab meat fried rice was okay. This is my second time having crab meat fried rice. My first time was at another Thai spot (Thairiffic) in the same town. I thought Thairiffic did the crab meat fried rice better. At Up to Me, the crab meat looks like it was added to a very bland fried rice. At Thairiffic, they fried the rice with the crab meat and the crab meat is more shredded and distributed in the rice. Thairiffic also had more flavor and ingredients in their fried rice, which I prefer. The fried rice at Up to Me is less greasy at the expense of flavor. I had to add the sauce of the spicy eggplant into the bland fried rice, which made it great, but really, the fried rice should really judge as a standalone order and I didn't think it was up to par. Up to Me did pack the container with fried rice to the brim whereas Thairiffic did not, so it is quality vs quantity situation. Pad See Ew was okay here, compared to other Thai spots in Boston. It was about average. The flavor and noodles are typical. I thought the veggies needed to be cut more to improve distribution into the noodles. The spicy eggplant was also average among other Thai spots. The eggplants themselves were undercooked. I typically prefer eggplants to be a bit more mushy and add to the thickness of the sauces but this dish was good regardless. The sauce here is runnier than I prefer. But as mentioned, the sauce was great with the white rice it comes with and even the bland fried rice of the crab meat fried rice. This is definitely flavorful eggplants dish. Proper spicy level. Overall, second time around here at this restaurant, I'd say the foods here are pretty average compared to other Thai spots but just about acceptable quality for restaurants outside of the city. The two things I thought made this place stand out was the Tom Kha soup and the blueberry rangoons from the previous review I did. Hope that helps.

Chris P.

Yelp
Excellent, for takeout would've been better if they had labeled the spicy miso so we could tell which was spicy versus not. We figured that out it tasted great!

Hilary L.

Yelp
Delicious. Everything just tasted so fresh and homemade. Charming place, and I cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
This review is for a to-go lunch order. The order was ready within 10 minutes after I placed the order. Pickup was a breeze. You walk in and your order is placed on the table by the register to grab. I ordered a Pad Thai lunch portion which comes with a salad and 2 fried dumplings. The dumplings were placed in a tiny container already filled with soy sauce which was off-putting because they were soggy and very salty from the soy sauce that got soaked in. I expected the salad to be composed of a cheap romaine lettuce mix but it was a fresh green mix and it was topped with red onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers. The sauce was creamy but tangy and light. I was pleasantly surprised. The portion for the pad thai was a heaping amount. I was only able to eat 1/3 of the meal after I inhaled my salad. The pad thai noodles were slightly chewy, soft, and well coated with sauce. The sauce was slightly sweetened, sour, SPICY as requested, and savory. I can't say it was the best pad thai sauce that I've had but it was better than most. I love the addition of the beansprouts and the generous amount of peanuts.

Yelp
This place was right down the street from where I was staying at The Meadows at Marlborough. The food has been consistently good. I've gotten a couple of different noodle items and the kimchi rice. It's been so good every time Go for the lunch specials. You get a entree and you can add a soda and side like dumplings. You're spending less than $20 for decent portions.

Kevin M.

Yelp
My wife and I have been here a few times and always a solid meal and love their creativity, especially with a side of the blueberry crab Rangoons. However, today I switched things up and got the Spicy Eggplant (with flat noodles and chicken), my wife got the hangover noodles and we split an order of Basil rice. Friends... THIS WAS THE BEST MEAL I HAVE HAD ANYWHERE ANY CUISINE IN YEARS! Just the right amount of spicy, a perfect 100 on the flavor scale and the portions are right for at least two meals. You will not be disappointed.

Meri L.

Yelp
A friend suggested ordering from here while in town. My friend and I have the same taste when it comes to food, so I listened to my friend's suggestion. It was still lunch time so we decided to order lunch specials. The lunch specials are quite small, even for lunch. Lunch specials and regular sized portions differ by about $4. If you want to make your lunch a combo it's an extra $1.50. Although small, my meal had nice flavor. I ordered shrimp and broccoli in oyster sauce. It was very light and tasty. What I didn't like about my meal is that the tails were left on the shrimp. One thing I can't stand is taking tails off shrimp in the middle of a meal. If it's not shrimp cocktail, tails should be removed. My friends ordered chicken and veggies with fresh ginger and chicken and veggies with basil. Both had nice flavor. The chicken and veggies with basil had nice spice. Both friends order from here all the time and they said that the lunch portions are significantly smaller than the regular portions. They felt that the lunch portions was more of a "snack."

Lou G.

Yelp
i ordered the shoyu ramen. it was extremely good! also, this is a quaint little place...my wife and i had a date here, and it was nice. service was great. food is high quality. definitely recommend

Ross S.

Yelp
I love this spot. One of the best Kapow versions I've ever had. Also their Tom Yum Ramen is off the hook. Ya gotta get the Ramen when you have a chance to dine in.

Gayle F.

Yelp
Delicious food every time. Quick takeout service with a smile Always on time and correct.

Laura W.

Yelp
By far the best thai food around and very reasonable compared to other locations! We had their scallion pancakes, dumplings, edamame, shrimp pad see yew, pad thai, and ramen, all for around $55. We were all so full but all had leftovers to enjoy tomw! Everyone gave it a 10! The woman waiting on us was so pleasant and made us feel welcome. Small place but a true gem!! Will be back and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Paul B.

Yelp
Ugh I m gonna start leaving positive reviews for so many good places that I frequent because I have a tendency to leave too many bad ones ... I can't help it ....when I expect and pay for one thing and get something entirely NOT what is described on menu or web site I feel like other people need to know ..... So anyways I ordered two things 1) "pan seared chicken teriyaki over steamed seasonal vegetables" Sounds perfect Cost $13.75 I was so annoyed when I opened this that I literally decided to disseminate what I actually paid for each order .... I pulled the ingredients out and weighed them because aside from 3lbs of plain rice ( which I try to avoid) there wasn't much weight left to bag So here's how it broke down - 3.1 oz of (possibly boiled)chicken shreds -3.9 oz of cabbage -1.1 oz of razor thin sliced carrots -1.1 oz of broccoli 9 oz of food for $14 Covered in what I would argue is teriyaki sauce from a bottle Nothing pan seared or seasonal about it It contained $1.59 of Ingredients and it Sucked 2) under entrees I went w the "fresh ginger " $15 ......'stir fry choice of meat (I chose beef) w ginger , mushroom , bell pepper (don't like so I asked for broccoli instead) , spring onion, baby corn, carrot , and house brown sauce ' - 2.1 oz of carrots 1.1 oz of mushrooms 1.9 oz of broccoli .4 oz babycorns (all 2 of them ) .6 oz ginger .2 oz scallions (aka spring onion ) 2.3 oz cooked beef At least this sauce may be home made But that's about it I almost feel like I should file a police report for robbery Pricing plus tax plus tip $35.30 For total of 5oz of meat (soaked in sauce mind you ) 12 oz of dollar store cheap veggies I feel like a moron Next time I'll go get a surf and turf or something and sit down w an IPA for that price Rip off! Good luck UpToMe ! I surely won't be back

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
Spicy, delicious, really good food alternative if you want to try something different. I think they also have good vegetarian options too. I had them do some catering for a party and they delivered!! They're beef and chicken satay was delicious. My guests loved the food. They have these really spicy dishes that will CURE any flu/cold/allergies. They will open up your sinuses but you can't stop eating because they're so savory. I recommend the Kapow dishes if you like spicy.

H L.

Yelp
This is our go to Thai take-out. Our favorites are the shrimp pad thai, spicy basil with double chicken and green curry with double chicken or veggies only. The flavors are spot on and authentic. You won't be disappointed.

Don W.

Yelp
Tasty Thai food. My favorites are their Pad Thai and their Ramen. They have several different styles of Ramen and lots of add-ins to keep thing interesting and yummy.

Aditi S.

Yelp
Loved the hang over noodles. Really good taste and lots of veggies which I like. I would have liked little more chicken in it though. The dishes are very reasonably priced. Definitely you should try this place!

Ben C.

Yelp
Stick with the Thai options as the Thai soups we had were phenomenal. The ramen and char siu bowls, while not bad, can't compare to the real thing.

Scotty P.

Yelp
First time customer and will be a repeat customer. Ordered 4 items for delivery and all were fantastic! Pieces of Meat Fried gyoza with chicken and side of spicy mayo Tom Kha soup with chicken Hang Over noodle with beef and shrimp All of the food was delicious and delivered piping hot. Looking forward to trying the Pad Thai and some of their other dishes.

Annie O.

Yelp
This is one of the most authentic Thai restaurants in the area. Most Thai restaurants around here are very Americanized and tend to be overly sweet, this was surprisingly refreshing and full of flavors. We got the Pad Thai (not overly sweet like many restaurants around here), the Tom Yum soup (SO good, right amount of spices and sourness), the Thai Street Fried Rice (very good!), and the beef noodle soup (which was ok, but since it's not a traditional Thai dish I didn't have high expectations). Will definitely be going back to try more of the Thai dishes! We will definitely be a regular!

David L.

Yelp
No hassle lunch order placed online. Food was ready in about 15 minutes as stated. Vegetables in the pad see ew were fresh and crisp, and the noodles were soft but still maintained a pleasant chewiness. The small soup and dumplings provided some nice variety to the main dish. If you live/work nearby, it's a nice option for lunch. Looking forward to trying more of their dishes and wish the owners much success with their new venture.

David K.

Yelp
Just outstanding! Cute place, good communication, fine menu. Appetizers not that exciting, but soup, noodles and rice dishes AWESOME. Next time will try dessert. They need full size plates for eat-in.

Chalalai C.

Yelp
I love Thai food and always love to try new places. Their food was really good. Massaman Curry with Chicken is their signature and the portion was generous. The staff also recommended Mushroom dip which is also good.

Bettie D.

Yelp
Great food, fresh and big servings only downfall is the price a bit steep even for its good quality but still good

Daphne K.

Yelp
I Ordered a to go delivery from door dash. Ordered a pad thai and hang over noodle. The orders barely have noodles in it. It's mostly onions and yes, some are lettuce and i know that. I read some reviews and it was great when you're dinning in. However, i think its a reap off for deliveries because they know they're not encountering the customers face to face

Rich G.

Yelp
3.8 - Pretty good. Ordered Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Chicken Wontons. It was good, great flavor. I like a bit more pineapple in the rice. Good serving sizes in each dish. I wasn't a fan of the wontons. I will go back and try some new dishes.

Lucy B.

Yelp
Really fantastic food! Got a takeout order and the food was fresh, hot and delicious. The Pad Thai has just the right balance of sweet and sour, and the fried rice was also delicious. Definitely my new go-to place for Thai food.

Vidya J.

Yelp
Another disappointment in the name of Asian cuisine. Their veggie ramen broth is basically salted hot water with soggy tofu that taste sour. And I paid $3 for extra tofu to get 7-8 pieces in total. Glad I tried, never going back. Why do vegetarians and vegans get duped like this?

Xiaowen C.

Yelp
This is my fourth time back here. Their staffs are friendly, dishes looks good as well! I'm glad finding a new Thai food in Marlborough!

Carrie C.

Yelp
We've ordered from this spot a few times and it has NEVER disappointed. Pad Thai is spot on, Masaman curry delicious, Thom ka (2/3 times good) spring rolls- awesome- highly recommend!!!

Jenn C.

Yelp
This place has only been open for 4 days, so maybe it will get better? Ordered yellow curry with tofu and sau-te as they say. We got the garlic black pepper. First, there was giant chunks of garlic vs a garlic flavored dish and no sauce. Second was the yellow curry. It was chunky like an Alfredo sauce the next day after the fat separated from the cheese and tasted like yellow curry powder vs actual Thai curry and again no sauce. We ate what we bought, but won't even think of going back until they have their sea legs.

Andrew J.

Yelp
Ordered off menu Thai Fantastic food and service. Pad Kee Mao with chicken had just the right amount of fire and spice and flavor. They need Thai iced coffee

Brent R.

Yelp
Just tried this place after noticing them in the same plaza as Plum Tomato. Ordered a gyoza, tom yum soup, green curry, and basil fried rice as takeout. The tom yum soup was a little too salty and didn't really have the right flavor. Maybe too much black pepper? The green curry was good, but needed salt. The gyoza was good and the basil fried rice was excellent. Standard 20 minute wait time on a takeout order and I was in and out quickly. I personally wouldn't want to eat at the restaurant - there were only a few tables and it's not a very inviting environment. They've tried to decorate it nicely, but honestly it's just kind of an old building with lots of hard surfaces. Overall, the food was decent but not amazing, service was adequate, and the interior was cold and uninviting. It's close to where I live, so I might be back if I'm absolutely craving Thai food, but not sure I'll be eating here regularly.

Emily S.

Yelp
We were happened to be in the area and craving for Thai food so decided to give this place a try. We order fried calamari, chicken wing and massaman curry. They are all so fresh and delicious. Service is great! I would come back again.

Anna P.

Yelp
Food well cook and delicious! Professional, friendly, hardworking staff. Open, clean, Covid safe, 4 tables restaurant. Cool atmosphere. Very busy with take out which our friend order weekly and love for consistently great food. Reasonable price for quality and skill.

Debbie M.

Yelp
I took 6 of our kids here tonight and they all enjoyed it. Four of the kids are strict vegan and the staff was very accommodating. They made the following dishes vegan: hangover noodles, ginger tofu stir fry, and glass noodles with a brown sauce and veggies. We also got the mushroom dip, fried tofu and edamame as appetizers. The service was great, the food was good, the veggies were cooked yet crunchy full of spices. We didn't try the curry. The pineapple fried rice was amazing! They can make vegan fried rice on request. The peanut sauce is not vegan unfortunately although they probably could have whipped one up, since they were able to make the hangover noodles (my favorite aka crazy drunken noodles) without fish sauce. They seem to do mostly takeout but we sat 9 at our table and there were a few other tables.

Jack M.

Yelp
I had the "Pad Kapow" (pad kra pow?) and a chicken satay. The chicken satay was alright and the Pad Kapow was pretty good and close to the authentic version from Thailand. Not a big place so grab it to go.

Andy R.

Yelp
Really liking up to me. They just added a new spice level "kill me now" first time I have had Thai food with a decent spice level!
