This place was ok in taste. Compared to other fast casual healthy options (like sweetgreen), I found the flavors to be kind of bland. Everything was fresh; however. My bowl plus the drink you see in the pic and tax came to $23 which to me, felt high.

Came here on a whim! I was very impressed by the customer service, as the worker who took my order was very informative and patient while deciding my order. Overall, my total for a salad and a smoothie was around 36 with tip. A little steep, but I would say the quality of my salad was top notch (and my smoothie). The only downside to their location is the lack of parking. Edit: There is free parking located down the street!! I stand corrected:)

Do not get the Aloha bowl. Mangos were unripe with green skin still on, rice was a slop. As sloppy as rice can get when improperly cooked. Mangos were completely crunchy as the green skin was still on the mango. On every piece the green skin is there. See photos. Near inedible. I was able to get a few bites down, but no more. I will say the staff is friendly. I ate inside, took a few bites and left. Real bummer as I am a fan of these fast food health spots.

Google
Great fresh food with loads of suggested combos or option to build your own bowl. Nearly put off by some reviews here but found everything (including freshly cooked rice, flavoursome dressings) to be really tasty. Good size servings and fair pricing. Smoothies are costly by comparison to food prices.

I used to live in Atlanta and this was my favorite place there. The one in Nashville however, has been so disappointing. I tried pick up orders and dining in. They are constantly out of key ingredients and if you place a pick up order, they don’t even tell you that half of the ingredients are missing (and you still get charged). They also often make bowls incorrectly. After the third time of this happening, I reached out to the restaurant and never got a response. I might try this location again one day, but for now I’ll stick to the Atlanta location.

The club Med salad is so good I ordered it twice within a week. Although laying $16 bucks for a salad is very pricey I absolutely enjoyed it and would do it AGAIN! They give you so much so it’s definitely worth the price and not only that it’s delicious.

The Chinese Takeout Bowl was excellent and was a very affordable price for quantity and quality of food! Great flavors! Ginger misso dressing is YUM.

I’ve been here about 5-6 times since they opened and it’s hit or miss. My experience has been different every time. First time - wow! 10/10 loved it! So flavorful and super friendly staff. Great sized portions. Next time I got about 40% less food and lost employees.. next time the rice wasn’t cooked well and out of ingredients. Go back and they knock it out of the park, another 10/10 experience. Only problem this time was that I tried to get the steak and they only gave me 2-3 strips for an $8 up charge? Get some consistency here and I’ll love it. Too pricy for it not to be consistent… paid $37 for guac it out bowl with chicken and a smoothie. Great flavor, very filling (if right portions) and friendly staff. Just needs that consistency and it’ll be a 5 star spot.

Yelp
I ordered the Guac It Out bowl and it was DELICIOUS!!!! Sincerely one of the tastiest bowls I've ever had. And it's healthy! The owner, Eric, made his rounds asking customers about their experience. Mine was great!! Great atmosphere, very upbeet! (; As a resident of The Gulch, I'll certainly be back.

Yelp
Food was good. Got a custom made bowl and an almond açaí bowl. Both were delicious. A nice option in the area for some light, refreshing, healthy food. The custom bowl was a little pricey, but that's much expected in The Gultch. Service was great. Placed a pick up order and it was ready when I got there. Would definitely come back

Yelp
Good healthy option and delicious food. However, online ordering is kind of confusing. You have to pick between as-is or customized options for their signature menu items, and pricing appears to be different until you go in and select all the options. The signature bowls don't really offer you any kind of "deal," as they price them by topping. Also, I placed my online order, arrived to the shop 30 minutes later, just to find that the employees hadn't started the order at all. That was quite disappointing, but overall, it was tasty and healthy, albeit a bit expensive.

Yelp
During a recent trip in Nashville, my friend and I needed to enjoy a light meal after a couple days of southern food. I had a salad with greens, tomatoes, hummus, olives, roasted chickpeas, and vinaigrette. The salad was filling, fresh, and super yummy and healthy. The place was busy, the setting was okay, but the outside music was so loud we couldn't have a conversation.

Yelp
I tried upbeet after getting a facial and it hit the spot! I got a smoothie bowl, which is a totally different like than everything else, but I didn't see any signs noting that. I got the berry green bowl and it was really good! I really appreciate how massive the menu is, I just feel like this isn't a very accessible restaurant for my everyday life or for anyone I would recommend a restaurant too. First of all, it's in the heart of the gulch so you'll likely have to pay for parking. On top of that, everything is pretty pricey. Granted it's all organic and all the other good things, but I don't think it'll become part of my regular rotation.

Sheena T.

Yelp
Upbeet is a very nice, causal dining option in the Gulch! I stopped in for a to-go order after getting a facial and am glad I did. The interior is bright, clean and reflects a healthy atmosphere. I decided to build my own bowl and got spring greens, quinoa, grilled chicken and fresh veggies/hummus and lime vinaigrette. I took the order to go and had a nice experience with the employee who served me. The hummus was excellent and the flavors were really good and fresh. The dressing was also nicely seasoned and not too heavy. They also have Apple Pay which is convenient. My only gripe is the prices are a little high, but for the quality it's worth it when you need a healthy, fast meal.

Yelp
EDIT: as you can see the manager/owner/someone in leadership asked me to email them. It has been over a week since I emailed them and I haven't heard back. Not surprised! Not impressed. $15 + tax PB bowl, that is watery and lacking flavor. Granola non-existent. The girl at the front was less than friendly, just kinda there. I asked to swap strawberries instead of bananas for the base and she let me know that it might change the texture and might take longer??? Confused by this comment, worked at a smoothie shop before and we were able to accommodate, no problem (esp for those who have a banana allergy). She mentioned it was the recipe they use. The service is very slow. My friend ordered an Acai bowl and they lost her order? So she was waiting for 30+ mins only to be disappointed. High hopes for a place in the gulch, but this was a miss for us (group of 8).

Yelp
I usually love this place. I come whenever I'm in Nashville (I usually stay at a hotel around the corner). But today I went later than usual.. around 4:30pm. All the food looked like it had been out for hours. I usually get a nice fresh mix here. It's always a 5 star place for me. But I was very selective this time as the mixed greens were all wilted and brown. The proteins were all the bare bottom of the bins, and the fruit (like the apples) had browned. I was starving so got romaine mixed with white rice. The rice ended up being dry and crunchy.. meaning it had clearly been there too long. I ended up throwing away the whole meal as I was weary of it after a few bites.. so I'd suggest coming here during the busy lunch hours, but maybe not so much after that time of day..

Ellie G.

Yelp
Very similar to Sweetgreen. Great lunch spot in The Gulch. Have one of my favorite seltzer waters. They were out of a few protein options.

Ashley R.

Yelp
My new favorite Nashville Restaurant! All of the food is light and refreshing. There are so many vegan and organic options! My friend had the Aloha bowl and I have the macro bowl. Those were absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is clean and inviting, the service was phenomenal and the woman who waited on us was so helpful and educational about our options! They also have amazing beverage options! As Someone who is white sugar and white flour free, this was a 10 out of 10 for me

Vanessa S.

Yelp
Finally a place that isn't drenched in fried or fatty foods. Very reminiscent of Sweet Green and happy this place exists. The ability to customize your bowl with alternative protein options for vegetarians is a plus!! Also the staff is very friendly and plenty of toppings to choose from! Price is worth it to have healthy options.

Sam M.

Yelp
Food is good. Great, healthy addition to the Gulch. But - The service is astoundingly slow. Waiting 20 minutes in line with five people ahead of me with a chipotle-style setup is crazy. Always seems to be out of ingredients as well, constantly having to run back to the kitchen to re-stock, adding to your wait time. Again, good and healthy food with potential. Just needs an extra person or two working the counter. Edit: don't get the wild rice. two times it hasn't been cooked through and it like chewing on rocks.

Yelp
This is exactly what Nashville needed!!! As soon as we saw the "Upbeet coming soon" last Spring, I looked up the Atlanta menu and got sooo excited! We pass this location every day and have been counting down for this opening day! In their first three days being open, we've been twice!! This will be our new (probably almost daily go to)! This is the perfect to-go or sit down fast casual with great service, aesthetic vibes, and friendly staff! It's in the best part of the Gulch right next to a ton of workout places and next door to Lululemon! The absolute best part is - it's actually healthy is every category! It makes me so happy to find a place that "gets it" as far as the importance of organic, non-gmo, wild caught, grass fed meat, no added hormones in cheese, nothing artificial, absolutely everything is gluten free, etc. Love that we can enjoy every option on the menu that fights disease instead of feeding disease. Can't explain the happiness that brings me because these places are extremely hard to come by!! This will be our top visited restaurant in Nash for bowls, salads, açaí bowls, smoothies, etc! Definitely recommend checking it out!

Yelp
We are always looking for organic food and antibiotic free meats. We found Upbeet and love the concept and the food. We go there every time we are in town. The only negative is parking can be difficult. There are a few places behind the store for when you order take out. And they often run out of things- even basics. But when they have what you want- and you are looking for clean, organic food- this is a great option! Elenor is an asset to the restaurant and I hope they can keep her and hire others like her who know what they are doing and are so nice.

Steffanie F.

Yelp
I paid $60 for 2 veerrryyy mid salads (the thai one & a "make my own bowl"). The chicken had no flavor, we paid extra for dressing & it still didn't have any flavor & MY OWN PERSONAL PREFERENCE is to have a salad on the colder side, not room temperature (not their fault, I guess). The service wasn't bad, but I would've preferred an olive garden salad than what I got.

Reid H.

Yelp
The lady at the front was an awful server, had to remind her of my order multiple times, and she gave us extremely small portions. Gave me and my girlfriend both the wrong dressings and heavily overcharged us. Also told us there was going to be a long wait for chicken when it came out literally less than 20 seconds after she said that. Don't eat here.

Reese C.

Yelp
I'd give the smoothie a 4/5 and service a 3/5. The smoothie is pretty good but also pretty expensive. I don't know if I'd come back to try the food because of the price but it looked decent.

Katie D.

Yelp
Best (only??) truly healthy fast casual spot in Nashville. Everything is delicious and I love knowing the ingredients are carefully sourced and extremely high quality.

Natalie A.

Yelp
I've been waiting for a place like this to open in the Gulch for years. They just opened this week. If you want a healthy, fresh, organic salad or bowl this is your spot. I tried the cucumber mint lemonade and it did not disappoint. Vibes are coastal and casual. Not fussy. Just good food. You can tell the team is passionate about their food.

Derik F.

Yelp
This place is delicious. Nashville was in desperate need of a healthy sweet green like spot. I loved how many customizable options they have. Great service and atmosphere.

Baylee W.

Yelp
First time at upbeet & as soon as we walked in we were greeted by Eric the owner and talked through the amazing menu choices. The food was so good and refreshing! Can't wait to go back to try some more dishes!

Brenna J.

Yelp
Eric recommended the Aloha bowl to me and it changed my life for the better! Great food, amazing service, and worth every penny! Definitely a fun treat and good, whole foods!

Chad R.

Yelp
Walked 25 minutes to buy food. Hours say open at 11am. Not open at 1140am...waste of time.

Nick G.

Yelp
Best and healthiest place to eat in the Gulch! So glad they decided to open up a location here.

Jodi A.

Yelp
I'm so happy that I finally had a chance to try Upbeet in the Gulch. The grass fed steak is one of the best steaks I've had in Nashville. I had the Bachelor bowl and everything was spot on! The staff was really polite and friendly. I will definently be coming back. Bonus points-there is parking in the back of the building!

Suzanne L.

Yelp
Upbeet is amazing! I have had the poke bowl and Guac bowl. All of the ingredients are super fresh. The salad dressings are homemade and full of flavor. The portions are huge so I wasn't able to eat them in one sitting so was nice to have for lunch another day. The vibe and decor are spot on. The service was great. I had suggestions made to me by the staff and I felt like they understood the menu well. For the price, you get what you pay for. Most ingredients are organic so for me to make my own dressing and compile all the ingredients in both dishes, it was well worth the money! I eat organic so the cost is more and I love that there is a place that also wants to put organic as their vision. I would eat at Upbeet everyday. The menu is large with a variety of items for breakfast lunch and dinner. Definitely check this place out!
