Upstairs at Bow recently hosted my husband's 40th birthday party, and they did a fabulous job all the way around. Working with Tina, Jazz, and Carissa was so easy, and they helped me personalize every aspect!
Tina was proactive about being in touch leading up to my event, and she was very responsive over email to all my questions. She offered to feature a couple of drinks off their bar menu, and said I could rename them however I wanted. I did, and mentioned that I had used the names of our 3 cats as the drink names, and when I got there that day, she had printed up a drink menu with pictures of bartending cats!
Jazz and Carissa were my on-site coordinators and were amazing about helping with setup, decorating, and tear-down, never mind all the work they did during the party. We had opened a tab up to a certain limit on the bar, and Jazz quietly and unobtrusively kept me posted when we started reaching that limit. The two of them managed their team totally behind the scenes and everything ran so smoothly.
I feel like the cost of renting the space was not that expensive, considering how gorgeous it is, and the quality of the experience we had! We had a wonderful time, and I would absolutely book them again. Renting this space and working with this team is very much worth your time and money!
The one issue I had -- that really isn't their problem at all -- is that there is no parking lot associated with this space. It's no problem if your guests are local enough to use public transit, but it's worth planning ahead for guests that need to drive in.
