Upstairs at Bow

Tina and the staff at Upstairs at Bow helped create a magical Rehearsal Dinner in May of this year. Despite the dreary weather outside, they welcomed our family and friends with warmth and cheer, even drying the balcony space so that we could extend out there as the night went on. They helped us find excellent caterers (Carolicious!) and managed a large rehearsal dinner and welcome event that started off the wedding weekend in a fun and festive way. They helped us every step of the way in this beautiful venue, and we were so grateful and impressed! The guests had a fantastic time, and we all loved the unique and stunning venue!

Upstairs at Bow recently hosted my husband's 40th birthday party, and they did a fabulous job all the way around. Working with Tina, Jazz, and Carissa was so easy, and they helped me personalize every aspect! Tina was proactive about being in touch leading up to my event, and she was very responsive over email to all my questions. She offered to feature a couple of drinks off their bar menu, and said I could rename them however I wanted. I did, and mentioned that I had used the names of our 3 cats as the drink names, and when I got there that day, she had printed up a drink menu with pictures of bartending cats! Jazz and Carissa were my on-site coordinators and were amazing about helping with setup, decorating, and tear-down, never mind all the work they did during the party. We had opened a tab up to a certain limit on the bar, and Jazz quietly and unobtrusively kept me posted when we started reaching that limit. The two of them managed their team totally behind the scenes and everything ran so smoothly. I feel like the cost of renting the space was not that expensive, considering how gorgeous it is, and the quality of the experience we had! We had a wonderful time, and I would absolutely book them again. Renting this space and working with this team is very much worth your time and money! The one issue I had -- that really isn't their problem at all -- is that there is no parking lot associated with this space. It's no problem if your guests are local enough to use public transit, but it's worth planning ahead for guests that need to drive in.

Zola, Tina, and the whole team at Upstairs took such great care of us when we planned our event there. We couldn't be happier with our experience. They were helpful, responsive, and so kind. We staged a production of a Shakespeare play in the space. I'm not sure if they'd ever hosted a play before, but they handled all our weird requests and questions like seasoned pros. The space is gorgeous, the staff are helpful, the location is convenient. It's just all around just the best possible space you could ever have for any event.

We hosted our Rehearsal Dinner & Welcome Party at Upstairs at Bow in August and it was absolutely perfect! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and all of our guests raved about the atmosphere. One of my favorite parts about upstairs at bow is it really doesn't need additional decor - its beautiful as is! We had about 85 people in attendance and it was the perfect size venue in my opinion, utilizing both the outdoor and indoor space with seating options for ~30 people. We ordered our rehearsal dinner food from Carolicious (highly recommend) and pizza from Veggie Crust for the Welcome Party (also highly recommend). Thank you Tina + team for facilitating a great night!

My partner had our wedding reception at Upstairs at Bow and it was magical! It's such a beautiful space, great drinks, great food options (we went with Carolicious and they were amazing!), and Zola / Tina / the planning staff answered all our questions and made us feel at ease throughout the planning process. A great space for any event!

Upstairs at Bow was a dream venue to host my mom’s surprise party! It’s even more gorgeous in person, and we got compliments all around for choosing this venue! Zola was amazing to work with in the weeks leading up to the event, and was ultra-communicative and helpful both on the phone and via email. She liaised with our caterer to ensure they knew where they’d be setting up and had everything ready for them. Jazz & Elizabeth were around throughout our event, and my family is so grateful for how kind, professional, and helpful they both were! The event went SO well and I hope to host another event here again in the future. It’s perfect for a guest list of under 100 people. 10/10 will be recommending to many others!

We recently held our wedding reception at Upstairs at Bow and couldn't have been happier. Zola impressed us from the start with her responsiveness, patience, and willingness to help navigate the planning process. She even connected us with a fantastic florist. On the wedding day, Zach ensured everything ran smoothly and according to schedule. Malene helped ensure a successful wrap-up of the event.. The cocktails were exceptional, and the venue seamlessly collaborated with our chosen caterer. Upstairs at Bow delivered a perfect wedding experience – highly recommended.

Upstairs at Bow is an amazing venue! We recently used their space for our annual Bubbles and Bites event. It was our first time hosting an event at Upstairs but Zola and her team were extremely helpful and accommodating with everything we needed to make the night go smoothly. The space is beautiful: aesthetically pleasing, well-lit, spacious yet cozy, good acoustics, and great ambience. I would recommend Upstairs at Bow to anyone looking for a great venue for their next event, whether personal or professional. Thank you so much for everything!
