This was a fun adult family outing! For those who aren't very arts and crafts type of people, they ended up loving it! You can work with leather, concrete, wood and more! The seven of us went down and enjoyed ourselves, each making our own thing! We brought in our own food which was great, we had drinks there and it was perfect as we all sat around chatting and working on our projects. The staff was exceptional! I was "stuck" a few times on my art piece and they came right over and helped no problem. So very friendly! Bar drinks were awesome and the atmosphere was a good time! 3 hours blew by!

What a fun experience with the team at this location! Very helpful and welcoming, overall such a cool vibe and great mimosas! We will definitely be back!

Google
Our small team came here to have some fun. Loved the variety of projects to choose from. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We all had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs. Highly recommend it for team building and for a fun night out!

Google
Super fun cool space! Definitely need a reservation ahead of time but the cocktails were pretty great and the projects so fun! Only advice I would give is to pick an easier project rather than a hard project if you're not an avid Crafter. We made it to the 3-hour mark and I was only about halfway through my craft. But they sent me home with paint and everything needed to complete the craft so no complaints here.!

Google
We went to upstairs circus for my wife's birthday and it was such a a fun time, really felt like a party with all of the groups there, but you also have room to focus on your project. The entire staff were so friendly and helpful, I highly recommend you come to make a project and have a few great cocktails!

Google
I will only have great things to say about this place. Not only is it fun to get out and do crafts with your friends or whoever, but the atmosphere is fun and inviting and the staff is so outstanding and helpful. I am experiencing altitude sickness was for the first time in my life at my friends bachelorette party (I’m so upset), and the staff was able to help accommodate to everything I needed (I.e. getting me soda, water, food etc.) I think this is a great first impression of Denver, thank you upstairs circus 🎪 for a great time even when I am feeling like a 🤡

Google
We spent a happy hour at upstairs circus and David created a fun and welcoming environment. We’ll definitely be back to hang with David and craft! 12/10 recommend !

Yelp
This store comes up on a lot of "top things to do in Denver" lists. I am in complete alignment and Upstairs Circus would be at the top of my list. The short version - craft, drink, and be happy. We made appointments for when they opened at 11:30AM on a Sunday. After checking in and being assigned to one of seven tables, we started partaking in bottomless mimosas. Never a bad way to start and experience. After that, I briefly looked at a wall of previously made projects. I'd recommend going to their website to pick out a project ahead of time. But they have quite a diverse list of projects including, jewelry making, leather work, wood art, string art, custom shoes, wallets and purses. I chose to decorate a Magic Catch Bottle Opener. I knew ahead of time what project I wanted, but not about what design I wanted on the bottle opener. Finally settled in on a sports logo after being inspired by their binder of patterns/ideas. The instructions were easy to follow, but make sure you read through them carefully. At multiple points, I asked the staff for design advice and all their suggestions turned out to be awesome. They also helped me mix paint to get a shade of green that was exactly the color I was looking for. I took the entire three hours to complete my project because of some indecisiveness at the beginning of my project. One tip - if you need paint to dry, they have blow dryers. Another tip - if you're trying to paint something intricate while tipsy and while your friends are hammering leather on your table, ask another table to see if you can join them. Near the end of our session, I took a look around and projects that other people were working on. Everyone was making something very cool and something they should be proud of. I give kudos to whoever planned the kits and the staff for their guidance and friendliness. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. I'm really happy with how my project turned out and the whole experience.

Yelp
A few friends and I went to Upstairs Circus for a fun crafty ladies day. It was a Sunday, and it was full! We were greeted upon entry and offered a mimosa. I asked for a glass of water, not offered. Then once we selected the craft we wanted to do we went over to request it at another counter. It wasn't explained very well and Theo Clinton's the three ladies working at this establishment checked in was to offer more beverages. Not really there to check and see if anyone has questions or help to ensure you did t waste money on a project that didn't turn out well. There is not enough time if someone doesn't like their item and wanted to start over. It all felts rushed and the ladies were not super helpful. I wouldn't go back and waste my money here. You could look online and get the same items at a store and make some of these items yourself with ample time to make it exactly how you want.

Yelp
Drink...design...unwind! This place took Craft Bar to a whole other level. Like when I was told craft bar, I was like well I don't like those types of beer....well good, because that's not what this bar is! Crafting while drinking..holy cow, not easy....I mean if you want it to come out decent right?!!! This place is unique for sure. Date night...friend gathering or even a good family night out, it's fun..unique and the staff was super amazing. For those that think it's expensive, um...they are supplying you with items you get to design, create, stay for 2+ hours and take home! Dont be cheap! If it's too much, there are other bars with jenga in them. Great experience for sure. We arent from the area, but definitely have not seen anything like this where we live. So great job, first impression was fantastic!

Yelp
We enjoyed ourselves here. Wanted to do something different while visiting Denver for a quick girls trip . We made reservations and enjoyed making our crafts. My sister made the necklace she said it was challenging but she did it. I made the leather wristlet. This was fun and challenging as well. When you pick your project you receive the materials and instructions and cart of the gun was trying to follow the what seemed to be simple instructions lol. There are tools at each table and thankfully staff was there ready to assist and they did when needed. We purchased cocktails and chatted with fellow "artists" at our table. It was a fun couple of hours. I wish they had similar in California.

Yelp
I've been to upstairs circus several times over the years and it never disappoints! I'd recommend going here for a girls night or a date night! It can also be fun for a team building exercise or for a party gathering. There is a project menu full options for projects that can usually be completed within 2-3hrs. The options appeal to both genders and leave you wanting to come back again to make more! They have everything you need there to craft and paint your project. There is a full bar there so you can sip while you work, and on weekends they have bottomless mimosas! The staff are all super friendly and helpful if you get stuck or need any help. It's definitely a place my friends and I like to go to again and again!

Yelp
We had our XFoundation team building event here and wow, it did not disappoint! The crew was so helpful and our team had a blast creating, painting and throwing back a drink or two. Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
This is my first time at any Upstairs Circus location. My husband and I came for a double date with some friends who were from out of town. I highly recommend this activity for a group activity. Everyone can choose whichever project that would like to do instead of everyone having to make the same project. It is really neat to see what each person picks to do and their final product. I made the ombre fiber wall art. It was a very fun project and I feel that it was worth the money, because it is something that I immediately hung up in my house on display in my daughter's room! The drinks here were great, I was actually shocked with how good they were. I loved that their signature cocktail list all had named that were in theme with the circus. Upstairs Circus was very clean, including the bathrooms. My only complaints are that I would have liked to see more engagement from the employees. Most of them were spending a decent amount of time in their shift chit chatting amongst each other. I wish that they would come check on the tables every once in a while, to see how everyone is doing and to give tips if needed. The other thing was that one of the members in my group got instructions for a completely different project than the one that they asked to do and were very confused at first. I will definitely be back to make some of their other projects, but I would also like to try out their DTC location to compare the two! Tip: If you come on Wednesday's they have half off their bottoms of wine. I also saw that on Saturday morning from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm and Sunday mornings from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm they have bottomless mimosas! During the weekdays they have happy hour from 3-6PM.

Yelp
This is such a great date night spot! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed picking out our art projects, consulting each other on colors, and even helping each other out with our respective projects. I chose an overly ambitious string art project that I couldn't finish before we had to go home to relieve the babysitter. Luckily, the lovely ladies at Upstairs Circus sent me home with spools of the colored thread needed to finish the piece so I could work on it at my own leisure. Overall, there was a huge selection of projects and a great time was had by both of us. We'd be happy to return in the future!

Yelp
We filled up this place with our corporate event and had a blast. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Good selection of beverages & allowed us to bring our own pizza. Check out their website for the projects. There's definitely a range of levels from pounding names onto metal for jewelry, painting on hats, mixing cement for trays & coasters, & leather working. Very fun & would recommend for a large group.

Yelp
Staff was super friendly! We were going to go back for their bottomless mimosa on Sunday but had issues with a rental car and couldn't make it. They have funny coloring books at the bar. The cocktails were all delicious with a decent amount of options to choose from. We weren't able to do a craft but they had a nice variety of crafts to choose from. Also the chalkboard walls in the bathroom were fun!
google avatar

Alisa J.

Yelp
We had a really fun time here. Lots of crafts to choose from and the drinks are good. I had the mule and it was really strong in the ginger flavor and was very yummy. We made the nail and string art. It took us three hours to do everything up until the string part so they sent us home with the string we wanted to do at home. The project we chose was rated as difficult and there was also a line when collecting our project materials. Overall a super fun activity and the people were really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

Yelp
Wowowow I am blown away! I happened to find this place while doing a TikTok search of things to do in Denver, and I am so glad I did! Lexi and David really make the atmosphere here so warm and welcoming. They are the epitome of superb customer service. This place is so fun to fulfill your inner child's needs and take home a nice DIY project that you make yourself! I recommend coming here for their bottomless mimosas. Lexi and David never left my glass empty! Trust me, they are generous here :) Couldn't recommend this place more! Next time I would bring a group of people for a birthday party or something! Highly recommended!

Yelp
This is a pretty fun time for all ages!!! I've been wanting to have a reason to check this out so when friends were visiting Denver with their 11-year-old, this was perfect. We could all find something we wanted to create. Mama made a beer bottle wall-mounted opener, pops made a flask, kiddo make coasters, and I made a shelf for the wall which is very nifty cause it included magnets to you can just magnetically attach/tap your keys to the shelf! All items required painting, so there's craftiness in all besides just putting them together. They have happy hours, too, for drinks and the actual craft item itself, but them limit which items can fall under the HH special. My biggest criticism is that #1 the directions need to be updated. I mean it's a document and printed paper, you can do this. My shelf just wasn't quite accurate and the grommet holes (is that even what I call them?) weren't the right size vs. the magnets and it required actually pounding in and down of the magnets that was not included in the directions. Small steps like this may seem insignificant, but they are not! They do impact the end result more than you might think! My other criticism is the tape they gave with the shelf -- not at all adequate! That tape wouldn't hold anything on top of the shelf! I ended up going the old school nail and clip route after buying some other tape that supposedly held 15 lbs and was also falling off the wall from two small picture frames. Argh, anywho, I wish they'd just give the real stuff, like little nails with the hanging clips so that it will for sure hang to the wall without worry. Some of the options look kinda cheapy, but not all of it. I hope they can keep optimizing those to be good items that people want and would be proud of making and having. I like all the plentiful paint color options they have and staff is there for those moments you might have a question or need help. It's fun and different!

Yelp
Such a fun rainy day activity!! We went on a Sunday with the bottomless mimosas, and it was such a great experience!
google avatar

Dana W.

Yelp
Yes yes and YESSSS!!! What a fun morning!! Mimosas we're bottomless for $9.00 and the ability to create a random assortment of crafts is at your fingertips! I did the cement tray and I thought they were gonna hand me one.. oh no I GOT TO MAKE my OWN!! How cool is that!!!! This place rocks!!

Yelp
Fun spot to be creative and chat with friends. The staff was attentive and helpful while not over bearing.

Yelp
A bar, but make it crafty. This was such a fun spot that my friend wanted to come back to after her first trip here. We made wallets and drank yummy mocktails. They had so many crafts to pick from and I'd recommend this to anyone coming to Denver looking for fun and unique things to do!
google avatar

Lauren K.

Yelp
This was my first time at a DIY craft bar and I can say I would do it again. They have a very wide selection of crafts to choose from and a good system for getting your supplies along with the instructions that are given. The setting is very cute, with a nice bar inside. We went on Sangria Sunday so a free drink was included with the reservation. The place fills up so I would definitely make reservations ahead of time, and maybe bring your own large tote to carry your crafts home since they only have small brown bags which were both too small and not sturdy enough to carry some crafts. FYI tax/gratuity is not included in the reservation so expect that at the end of your trip. I get that this is a hands on, learn as you go experience but after we got our supplies they didn't check in with us at all whether about helping or about drinks.

Yelp
We made wristlets - a challenge, but fun - and we were surprised that they gave us so many different leather choices, including: black smooth, black pebbled, brown, oxblood, etc. You can choose a pattern from a template, or cut your own with craft scissors. We made one envelope-style and one asymmetrical and we actually used them! The staff was so kind and helpful, they even let me start-over with a new piece of leather. How nice is that?! The only downside was the acoustics - the people next to us had some intense conversation - so just be ready to hear everyone loud (and a bit too) clear. I stitched mine like a 5 year old on one side, but picked a thread close to the same color. I suggest this so it doesn't show as much. Have fun hammering the clasps at the end. So satisfying!
google avatar

Cynthia H.

Yelp
Perky, fun and patient employees! It was just my husband and I. We'd never done any DIY crafts before. We had a great time. Would definitely recommend!
google avatar

Destiny L.

Yelp
Went here for a girl's night and it was so much fun! Such an interesting concept! We went to the Happy Hour class where they have specials on a list of their projects and have $7 cocktails. The staff was so nice and very helpful throughout the entire experience. I didn't know that we actually made the coasters ourselves, I thought we would just be painting them so that did come as a surprise but the entire process was so much fun! You can even choose and picture of your own to be printed onto your item which was an unique touch. They give you step by step instructions on how to complete your project and walk around and help throughout the entire experience. Because they do have multiple classes throughout the day, there is a time limit on the sessions but they let you know when you have about an hour left. Would be great for a date night, girl's night or group activity!

Hailey M.

Yelp
We had a lovely afternoon crafting with our newly adult daughter. It was a fun chance to have some fun learning new crafts along with a pretty cocktail. With leather work to jewelry making on offer there was something for everyone
google avatar

Jordan J.

Yelp
The experience is extremely entertaining. The only issue I had was there was little to no direction and we didn't know they would cut you off. I think that was our fault and we didn't read the instructions. Make sure you get there when you schedule or you will run out of time on your project. They also give you extra materials to finish at home if you don't finish there. It was very pricey, but worth the experience!
google avatar

Shayla S.

Yelp
The concept of this place is awesome! I love the style and decor inside. It's a cool/fun atmosphere with a ton of potential. There are many projects to choose from and it helps that they're all the same flat cost to make. This could be a great place for a small group outing to have some drinks and get creative. To be honest, the downside of this place is the customer service. The male employee that was there when I visited was helpful, but not kind. However, the woman that was working was pretty rude and not very helpful. They don't take cash tips btw, I feel like that's important to know because they automatically select a 20% tip as they check you out at the end of the night. Definitely don't forget to tip, but also pay attention to what tips they add on before you approve the payment on the touch screen.
google avatar

Yelp
We had so much fun at a company party hosted at Upstairs Circus! There is a large variety of projects to choose from, the 3 ladies working tonight were incredible and the bar is really great! Everyone makes great cocktails and you're able to bring food in if you choose.
google avatar

Yelp
Upstairs Circus: Quarantine edition. I cannot rave enough about how much I love Upstairs Circus...the ringmaster who came up with this concept is a freakin genius and has provided me with many incredible experiences throughout the years, but this update is for AT HOME EDITION! I ordered the 2 pack of string art for me and my artistically inept bf to do together. The package came so wonderfully boxed. I had a ton of fun doing my project. My bf got uncomfortable after a while sitting on our floor so I finished stringing for him. I'm sure our downstairs neighbors loved hearing us hammering, but they didn't complain! Bless them.
google avatar

Alexa G.

Yelp
Super fun activity for everyone! I had some family visiting so I thought it would be a fun outing and everyone gets to make something! The group had a great time and the artwork turned out great. I like that everyone can make something else since everyone has different abilities. The only downside is that it is a bit pricey, especially if you order drinks. But for a one time event, it was great! You are also pretty much on your own while you work. The only instructions are on the piece of paper they give you. There are people there to offer suggestions, but they are mostly there as bartenders and to get everyone set up. If you're looking for a guided wine and paint activity, this isn't it.

Yelp
Cocktails and crafting?! Yes, please! In celebrating my friend's pending marriage and needing a fun way to get to know everyone visiting from out of town to share the weekend with her we decided starting the festivities off with a cocktail and crafts at Upstairs Circus was the place for us - boy were we right! ATMOSPHERE: Seriously so fun! Exposed brick everywhere, fun marquee lights in the windows, super swanky pendant lights, and a bright colorful feature wall that makes a GREAT Instagram background to share your craftiness with the e-world are just a few of the things I really loved! It wasn't overdone or over the top - just enough touches to make the space fun and help channel your inner craftiness. DRINKS: They're all incredibly creative! With circus-inspired names like Mexican Firebreather, Strongman's Punch, and Vintage Circus picking you bevvy is almost as fun as drinking it. I opted to sip on Julius the Great - Tanqueray gin, vanilla bean infused simple syrup, orange juice, and tonic! Tastes like a boozy Orange Julius! They even have some local brews, wines, and mocktails for those seeking a non-alcoholic options. PROJECTS: Literally something for EVERYONE! From Stamped Charm Necklaces, Nail N String Art, Stone Serving Trays, Wooden 6-Pack Carrier, Leather Pet Collars, and so many more choices you're sure to find something you'd love to make for yourself or someone else! I chose a super cute Beaded Wrap Bracelet. Each project has ways to customize it to you're individual taste. Plus the projects come with easy to follow directions and if you have a question or need some guidance about a step the staff is beyond helpful! SERVICE: Everyone was beyond friendly and helpful. They stopped by our group's table to check in frequently on our progress and offer assistance if we were struggling with our projects. With their assistance I'm sure that even the most un-crafty of patrons will leave with something they can be proud of. If you're looking for a fun take on the traditional "girls night out" look no further than Upstairs Circus! With fun project options, a killer cocktail menu, and friendly AF staff there's no question about it - Upstairs Circus is the place for you! **Bonus: They even offer a Crafternoon Delight Happy Hour Tuesday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm! $28 ($10 off) projects and drink specials!

Shelly M.

Yelp
Huge variety of projects. I did leather wristlet. Material was not nearly as good as the sample which was the whole reason for that choice. Friend make canvas Ice Cream Man. Canvas was quite large and she didn't finish. They do have paint to go home with. It is very noisy and music is loud. There is no drink service at the tables, you get your own at the bar. When checking out at the table they do auto generate the option of a 20% tip. This is pretty steep for no one serving you. If you had a lot of assistance with your project this would be appropriate.

Yelp
Upstairs Circus exceeded my expectations! I came with a handful of coworkers and am already dreaming of when I can go back. You can reserve a time slot online and it's $38 per person. Upon arrival, you're handed a menu of crafts to choose from. I honestly wasn't expecting such a cool selection. Gold plated necklaces I would totally wear, wood art that I would definitely put on my wall (unlike those step-by-step painting atrocities I create), leather luggage tags I NEED in my life, and so much more. In the end, I settled on a jewelry organizer because I have been hunting for a new one for awhile now. Why not create my own?! Now, let me be honest with y'all. I am not crafty. I have no patience for perfection when it comes to creating things, so I was worried to say the least. By no means was my piece perfect, but with the step-by-step instructions and reasonable time expectation set forth from the start, I got it done. What helped? THE BAR. They have wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks, which certainly put my impatience at ease. The ladies walking around were also helpful. They cleaned up as we went along and were there to answer any questions when things got messy. This is such a great spot for a date night or group outing. I really can't wait to come back!

Yelp
A great spot to go to with friends and family for a boozy or sober time! It's highly recommended to make a reservation prior because when I went in on a Sunday afternoon, all the tables got completely packed. There are complimentary sangria drinks on Sundays so definitely take advantage with your package! For $45, I did the charcuterie/display board which was a marble square slab. This is a super easy project if you don't want to do anything too crafty. This only involves sanding, gluing, and painting (with the paint and glue drying taking the longest). I'd be very careful with this project by holding the board from the bottom and not from the wooden handles that you glue on. The epoxy is not strong enough to bear the weight of the marble slab. Overall, the experience is fun to do if you've never done it before. Be aware of how long the projects do take as some such as the nail art ones may take longer than the time you're allotted. Don't worry, they'll send you home with supplies to complete at your leisure. Thanks Upstairs Circus for a good crafting time!

Yelp
We went here for a friend's birthday party and had a lot of fun. The staff were friendly, the workspace was cool, and the drinks were great. It was really nice that we could make a reservation because we had a group of 12. We were originally split up into two tables, but luckily some of the other guests that had smaller groups traded us. Once we settled down, we went straight to the bar and ordered some drinks. Some of our group didn't want to craft, so it was great that they could order drinks and color. I really liked all the different projects Upstairs Circus offered. I wish that there were different rates for projects since I am on a tight budget. The amount for all projects is $38, which isn't terrible, but kind of a lot if you want to do something small. I ended up settling on a bottle opener, and really enjoyed making it. The directions were clear and the staff were happy to answer questions. I'm not the most crafty person, so it looks a little funky do to my painting skills, but it was still a lot of fun.

Yelp
My family and I had a wonderful time at Upstairs circus. It was a very unique experience. And an extra big thank you for the lovely lady with the green hair, she had so much compassion and patience while helping my son create his project. It was so relaxing to be in tuned with your project. My husband is not a DIY guy buy he actually enjoyed himself. We visited all the way from FL and we thought it would be cool to make our own unique souvenir.

Yelp
I was looking for activities for my mother and I to do on our trip to Denver and thought this seemed exciting. We arrived a bit early which I highly suggest because you're seated at large tables with groups you don't know (unless you have a party of 8) and that way you can pick your seats. You start a tab that gets you access to the full bar and to pick your project. There were about 20ish projects to choose from. While the descriptions were vivid, I underestimated how much work would go into doing these things. I took this for a light activity and it definitely required a bit more skill than I expected. My Mom and I had fun though and our respective projects (necklace and flask) turned out well. My only fault was I felt there should have been more employees to help because the place was sold out and the 2 employees were always occupied. Otherwise, it was a fun activity and would be good for large groups.

Yelp
This place was a lot of fun! Decent cocktail menu and large array of crafts to choose from. We chose the personalized wallet and the magic key hanger. It took about 3 hours in total. The employees were very attentive and helpful when needed but also allowed us to do our own thing. My only flaw is that it ended up being incredibly expensive. We paid almost $140 for one drink each and one craft each. I could do this cheaper at home but it's a great splurge for a fun night of crafting.

Steven Y.

Yelp
This was our first time at upstairs circus. We really enjoyed the crafts we made. However, at the end while I was checking out, the lady asked if I wanted to do a 20 or 25% tip, to which I asked if I could do 15%. She replied with a stern "no, those are your options." The iPad screen was visible to me and I saw an 18% option as well as a custom tip option. I asked if I could just do the custom tip option and she said "no." At this point I was feeling very awkward and pressured to tip more even though she wasn't doing anything while we were there. I then asked again if I could do the 18% tip and she said "fine." She didn't say thank you or anything, she just gave me my card back and then walked away. I really hated that interaction and it left a sour taste in my mouth. It felt like she was making me give her money for her sitting around and watching TV. Horrible service

Yelp
This place is genius. It's an evening of crafting meets cocktails (or beer or wine, etc). Wether you're in a large group on a date or flying solo, each person gets to pick what the hell they wanna make that session - be it a cheese board, a mala bead necklace, a leather wristlet, a dog collar, a jewelry display ... so many options and skill levels. I have zero crafting ability. It's not that I can't. It's just that I don't really have patience for making stuff when I can just buy it. I know, I'm terrible, but I want to leave the quality work for the pros and artisans! But Upstairs Circus makes it fun by incorporating seriously jammin' beats, a great atmosphere of people and co-working space and drinks. Lots and lotsa drink options. I opted to make a bottle opener - from sanding down the wood and painting it to screwing in some metal stuff and tracing some designs ... voila! A beautiful mermaid bottle opener that will proudly be displayed in my beach house (when I buy one, that is). So if you've got little patience for making things or are just plain scared of crafting, give Upstairs Circus a try. As the gal working that day said, "If everyone could craft, we wouldn't be in business." Damn, she's right.

Yelp
Imagine a cocktail bar combined with shop and home ec classes! That's basically what Upstairs Circus is all about! I had the opportunity to visit recently during a work function. We visited the downtown Denver location, right across from Fogo de Chao. There is another one located in DTC. We went at the tail end of happy hour, and the drink prices were very reasonable. I started with a red sangria followed by a glass of their house red. They do not serve or provide any food. However they do allow you to bring food in, so we ordered from Cheesecake Factory. The projects are a little pricey. They are around $40 a person, and can range anywhere from one to two and a half hours to complete. All of the necessary materials and tools are provided, with detailed laminated instructions. Because you might be drinking and working with dangerous tools, everyone is required to sign a waiver. There is also at least one project attendants available to help at all times. Project ideas include making jewelry, dream catchers, cutting boards, string art, leather wallets, and much much more. I decided upon a concrete catch-all tray; something that one might throw their keys or jewelry on at the end of the day. Mine ended up looking a little amateur, but it was more about the fun we had. I highly recommend this for a group outing. I saw a lot of bridal shower groups when we were there. People under 21 are allowed, of course they just can't drink. This might be a fun place to take family and relatives from out of town.

Yelp
So much fun even for a party of one! Loved the vibe and the staff. Also loved the mock tails they had. A great way to kick off a vacation! I went to the DTC but still amazing!

Yelp
How I have never heard about that place, I am baffled. My friends took me here as a pre-wedding celebration, since I hadn't done a bachelorette with my Denver friends. I absolutely love arts and crafts and do them pretty often, so when I walked in I was surprised to see what they took me to. Super exciting! There were so so so many options, it actually took me a little bit to decide what I wanted to do. I ended up making a bear bottle opener for our mountain house and it looks amazing now that it's hanging. The whole group had a great time and everyone loved the drinks. I'll for sure be coming back pretty of

Yelp
This place is delightful! Drinking and crafting may seem like a dangerous combination, as many of our group noticed when we read the instructions involving using craft knives and hammers after a drink or two, but it was such a fun and memorable experience. You have a wide range of projects to choose from in a ton of different designs. You can even find your own design on the internet and they will figure it out for you. We loved the little details like how they named their drinks after their circus theme. Our group did 2 cement coaster sets, 2 beer bottle openers, 2 magnetic wall shelves, and 1 cement catchall tray. The girls who did cement projects mixed their own cement and poured it. We were surprised at how much is left to you to do on your own. There is help if you ask but mostly they leave you to it with your detailed instruction card. Even though everyone was not a crafter, we all left with a sense of pride and accomplishment at what we created while having a blast! The staff provide gloves and all the tools you need. Projects are marked with how long they will usually take to finish so you know what you're getting into before committing. Overall I would love to come back here and would definitely recommend it. We came as part of a bachelorette weekend and it was such a perfect activity for the group since everyone had fun and got to take something special home as a souvenir!

Yelp
I look forward to Kentwood's appreciation party. This is our second time to attend. Time flies. This party is put together by the above real estate company for everyone that bought a home from them. This time this venue was way cooler. It's a grown up place to work on something while you imbibe. Yes. You walk in. You will see a bar to your right and curiously a few rows of table to the left that resembles an elementary arts class. I made my first bracelet this night. It's actually something very easy to make. A few of my friends are already wearing them! This actually started me off on a new adventure/hobby! Bracelet making! There are other types of very involved "art" that you can create with your group, by yourself or with your significant other. I believe they can handle about 70 or so people. They do have happy hours too! So I am definitely going to go back and r joy this place with friends! Thanks Greg and Kentwood!

Yelp
Saturday and Sunday bottomless mimosas for an extra $6 is the best deal in town! And you get to do something fun and creative at the same time

Yelp
So much fun! This place was crowded, at least for Mothers Day weekend. And noisy. With a bunch of people hammering at the same time, it can't be helped. But the packed room had a terrific energy! Great variety of music and helpful staff, for both the drinks and with the craft projects. Don't worry if you are not crafty. I am not and the staff was really helpful. And the directions for each craft project were well written and clear. With pictures. Hard to screw up, although I tried my best. (I almost put the bottle opener on the wrong side of the board until a staff member corrected me.) Look out for all you can drink specials. We got all we could drink mimosas plus the craft project for $40. A really good deal. And the craft projects were super practical and well made. Things you would actually use or could give as a gift! Check this place out for sure!

Yelp
This is such a cool place for a date night or any night! The experience was amazing and the instructions were so easy to follow. Jess was great the entire time! She checked in on us often and gave us tips and pointers on how to make our pieces better! Highly recommend coming to check this place out if you're feeling crafty! I also saw quite a bit of people that came in to just have drinks and color in the color books which I thought was pretty cool

Yelp
Upstairs Circus is so great. I've been there 4 times now, each time on a Sunday morning with friends. On Sundays, they do unlimited mimosas while you craft, which is obvi a BLAST. 3 of the 4 crafts I've made at Upstairs, I'm in love with. The 4th was a shelf that I had to repair when I got home and never hung on my wall because it just wasn't working as intended. I encourage anyone to go to Upstairs Circus for any occasion (even dudes like it here). Can't wait to go again!

Yelp
Really cool concept and hip interior design. This place was a real hit tonight! There are many options to projects from making a necklace to painting wood pictures. I decided to paint and stencil the Seattle skyline because to be quite honest, I miss home and I love the Pacific Northwest!. You can bring food into the venue for a small fee I believe and there is a FULL bar! Hey other painting places should have a full functioning bar not this bring your own wine crap. You pick your project, get your prep items, get an easy to follow step by step of your project and then go to town. They have everything! All the tools are on the table, aprons so you don't mess up your clothes and lots of paint. Great place for a date night or a social work event. I absolutely loved the picture I painted and Very cool concept! Cool interior design and the staff is very helpful and professional.

Yelp
What an absolutely wonderful business idea! Most cities have "paint and pours" but Upstairs Circus takes that concept further with the addition of a couple dozen crafts *and* they provide the booze. For $39, my boo and I got unlimited mimosas and easy-to-follow instructions to make our own leather wallets. There were employees walking around the entire time in case we had questions (and to give us refills). All the tools/materials needed for our chosen craft were on the table. We had to do a little bit of sharing with the other couple at the table but they were friendly. The place wasn't too crowded. We ended up using almost all the time allotted to us. Our wallets turned out perfectly, we left plenty tipsy and we now have memorable keepsakes from our time in Denver. This is something fun-loving people should do at least once in their life.
