Stayed at the hotel, tried the tasting menu at Upstairz. Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing drinks. A playful, unique approach using fresh local japanese ingredients. Delicate yet distinct flavours, working in harmony. Kudos to the chef(s). Well worth the visit.

Craft cocktail bar on second-floor of the "Zentis" hotel (just walk in and go upstairz). Experienced and knowledgeable bartenders, with some amazing signatures based on various Japanese spirits and most all SPICES.

I had an exceptional dining experience at the UPSTAIRZ Bistro in Zentis Osaka. The delicious French cuisine, served in an elegant and upscale atmosphere, truly exceeded my expectations. Every meal, from breakfast to dinner, was crafted with care and tasted absolutely amazing. The bistro’s ambiance is both sophisticated and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal or a special occasion. Finally a new upscale dining experience that feels international! Went for the tasting menu which was delicious punched well above it's price. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try a fresh French dining concept in this dull covid period. My wife and I could really feel that the team put lots of passion in every dish. Also went for pre drinks in the bar and they were awesome too.

Great service, food and cocktails with good modern decor and a nice outdoor space. All of this is let down by the tiny tiny portions. I actually forgot to take a picture of the food because we ate it so quickly. The fillet steak was good but had some bits of fat that shouldn’t be seen at this price/portion. Not only did we have to hit up a 7-11 afterward but we saw the only other couple in there go into the Family Mart around the corner after their meal for more food too. If you’re charging what are NYC a la carte prices in Japan: $30+ USD per entree, you need to provide enough food to justify it, not set-meal course sizing. The Zen cocktail was fantastic and the place seems worth trying for drinks.

Very elegant restaurant, the interior design is very modern and neat. The staff were very accommodating and prompt. I had an afternoon tea, the presentation of the food is very instagrammable. Their selection of tea is very delicious although i had hoped that they also included coffee in their unlimited drinks. It's a nice place to have a relaxing lunch.
