I really don't know what the landscape of our town would be like without Upstream. It's elevated but accessible - the owners and their team are super knowledgable and have excellent taste and welcome questions. This is niche, but one of my favorite things to do is walk in, say I'm going to a dinner party at x's house, and ask for a recommendation based on x's preferences. Upstream nails it every time.

What a gem!! Beautiful wine shop with carefully selected delicious natural and organic wines by the sommelier owner. They also stock a very interesting and unique spirits selection. Best in this region!

Fun shop that felt like an art gallery - the art being a well curated selection of fine wine and spirits.

Put this gem on your "Must Visit" list whenever you come to Livingston Manor. Wines are fabulous, tapas delightful, and the service warm and friendly. So happy that our beautiful little village is attracting these wonderfully welcoming venues. I plan to go as often as I can. Thank you, Meg!

A rather recent addition to our town featuring an eclectic assortment of fine wines. On-line ordering is easy and usually ready for pick up within 24 hours.

Couldn't find any other liquor stores open on a Sunday, at least in the late afternoon. The place was very modern/trendy looking. Not a huge selection of liquor but it was all quality liquor and reasonably priced. The girl working there was very helpful and friendly.

Although there is a very limited selection of wines I thought I would go in and sample some wines that I have not yet experienced. I was looking for some French wines and ultimately purchased several. However the woman who helped me was incredibly curt and condescending. In fact she also went out of her way to denigrate the wine store across the street from her store. The wines that I purchased were nothing special. But I thought that I would support a local wine store. Unfortunately the woman's attitude made my experience there very unpleasant. I hope that the woman reads this review and modifies her attitude.

I went into this wine store for the first time. I was excited to purchase some French wines. The woman who waited on me was unfortunately rude and condescending. I purchased three bottles of French wine and didn't say anything about her attitude. I left there feeling very dissatisfied. The wine selection was adequate at best. But I was happy to try a new wine store and support a local business. I will never go back there. not only was she dismissive and curt but she also went out of her way to put down the wine store across the street from them.

We don't live in the area, but we buy cases from them and have it shipped to us in Connecticut because they are simply the best. Their selection of wines are fantastic, their service is amazing, and they truly listen to you if you tell them what you like! We reached out to them to see if they can curate a case for my husband and I. Not knowing EXACTLY what we like and how to describe it, we gave a simple description and what they ran with was ON POINT! every bottle was delicious. We enjoyed it so much we ordered another case but this time asked for some friendly reds that would go great for our family getaway (too many different tastes to accommodate for and to just choose just a simple pinot). What was sent pleased even our pickiest wine drinking friend!!! They loved it so much that they reached out to order their own curated case. I highly recommend them, even if you're not in the area! Order a case and keep a few of their wines handy. You wont regret it!

Such a unique and beautiful shop. So many different twists and flavors to explore- with the help of Meg, who was so knowledgeable about every bottle, we had the best wine we've ever had. Limited edition botanical gin, biodynamic wine, wild fermented sparkling cider. 100% worth the visit.

Livingston Manor now has a well-curated, reasonably priced and flat out fabulous new wine and spirits shop! As their website says, they "specialize in sustainable, organic, and biodynamic beverages that taste good." I can attest that they have a great thing going on. All of their bottles of wine have a special note written on a tag that details the flavor and aesthetic you can expect. So far I've not been steered wrong! There's something magical about a wine shop that isn't just fully stocked shelves that have loads of wine you know nothing about. It's hard to find something that jumps out at you beyond color of the label. Here, you don't have to worry about not knowing what you're getting into. It's easy to trust Meg's fine palate and try something new. Don't miss this place.

Wow! Someone recommended me to this wine shop in Livingston Manor! I love wine! And I now love this shop! Super cute, great selection. Owner is very friendly. Each wine has a personalized tag giving you a little bit of information on that wine. Ah love it! It's definitely worth a stop!

Super cute wine & spirit shop, in a very adorable town. The main street has a nice selection of little stores to shop in. A nicely stocked friendly wine shop is the perfect addition to the area. Stoped on New Year's Eve and was pleasantly surprised. Got two wines that I will be enjoying on New Years along with some nice cheese & other nibbles. Today was a quick visit but will definitely return to the area to explore further.

Love this wine shop! Perfect place to go if you want to try something new or need a recommendation. Meg (the owner) has never steered me wrong. The tags on each bottle of wine are a wonderful touch, and her selection of organic/biodynamic wines is extraordinary. The shop is adorable and worth the drive. Prices are very reasonable too. A great addition to the Catskills!

A super cute shop, easily accessible on Main Street in Livingston Manor. There's a well-curated selection of wines (including local and organic / biodynamic ones!) with thoughtful individual description tags. I'm sure every wine drinker would find a few favorites here.
