A Late-Night Dining Survival Guide for the Twin Cities

"The Uptown Diner, open 24 hours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, is a great spot for soaking up the night’s cocktails with waffles, eggs Benedict, and corned beef hash. The pineapple upside down pancakes are a favorite here, and there are less-breakfasty sandwiches, soups, and salads on the menu, too. (Sunday through Wednesday, the diner closes at 10 p.m.)" - Justine Jones, Eater Staff

Just had an excellent late breakfast experience at the Uptown Diner. Greeted by happy faces and the great service continued throughout the meal - Thanks Jo! Everyone found something that they enjoyed, left full, and with leftovers. Carmel roll was an awesome appetizer we shared ("Can we get another one?" is high marks from any teenager)

This establishment has been in my rotation for years, but I somehow have never reviewed it. That changes now. A diner. This place does their breakfast fare and sandwiches pretty well. A fairly expansive menu, so it is challenge to not find something that appeals. One trick that I like to do to elevate my dinner or lunch experience is to get a burger with a side of a sausage patty from the breakfast menu and add it to the sandwich. Yum!

Google
If you're looking for a classic breakfast spot in St. Paul. This cozy diner serves up homemade breakfast and lunch, with a menu that highlights hearty portions and comforting flavors. What makes it special? Legendary hash browns: Crispy, golden, and packed with flavor, these are a must-try. Cajun Breakfast: A fan favorite allegedly since 1987, featuring house-made hash browns, cheddar, eggs, Hollandaise sauce, and cajun spice...to be truthful I belive this was created my aliens chefs because its taste is beyond  our universe. Friendly service: The staff is welcoming and fast.  Dont forget to tip your servers well!

Google
How was Uptown Diner you ask? It was freaking amazing. To start with, our server was awesome and provided amazing service. The food was beyond excellent and they don't skimp on the portions. My Cajun breakfast fed me twice. Definitely going to return.

My friend and came here from a Google search and were amazed of the friendly but tasty experience. Loved it

Google
The food was very well served! The quantity was excellent. Very tasty, and the sweet potato tots!

Google
Nicely seasoned crispy waffle fries. The scrambled egg is nicely cooked and the hashbrowns have a crispy outside. Both are a bit under seasoned but goes great with the heavily seasoned gravy. The biscuit is nice and fluffy. The strawberry malt is pretty good.

Google
Selection of breakfast foods is top notch went with the house special country fried steak and eggs and a single pineapple pancake. You'll have to loosen a belt buckle after leaving this place. Another local spot putting out the stuff i like.

Yelp
The food is great, never a bad meal here. The hours are great and you can't beat the service. Our server was handling over 4 tables and we never had to ask for refills. The ambiance gives the old dinner feel.

Yelp
A disappointing visit today at the Uptown Diner. I ordered the soup of the day which was 'Chicken Potato' and the Sweet Potato Tots. The soup was overly salty, but I stuck it out until the end and finished it. The tots seemed overly crispy compared to my previous experience there. It wasn't until I had finished 20 of these mini-tots that I discovered a long black hair at the edge of the platter (see photo). Also disapointed in the service. The waitress never visited me once to see how the food tasted or to ask if I needed anything. When she finally did notice I had finished eating she came over and asked if I needed a carryout for the tots. I pointed out the hair to her and she immediately took the platter away. The waitress admitted the hair was hers and had probably fallen from the lanyard she was wearing. She comped the tots from the check, but still charged for the soup. When I eat there again I'll taste the food and look at the plates more carefully right away. I should have sent the whole meal back. There were more people in the retaurant today than my previous visit, but the waitress didn't seem to pay particular attention to anyone after she had greeted them with water and took their order. After the food was delivered she left every one alone.

Yelp
Ignore my fiancé being goofy with our personal receipts, Not worth the money, paid $15 alone for two regular cups of coffee and Side of Hollandaise, friendly environment and staffing but just not worth the money, I have been to real and better diners than this.

Yelp
My local go-to. We always sit at the counter and order breakfast, regardless the time of day. The hash browns are the star, plentiful and consistently charred. Great with everything - eggs, ham, bacon, catfish. Service is routinely pleasant and quick, and sitting at the counter helps. Best of all, Uptown looks like a diner. MN seriously lacks the type of urban diners that are so common in the East and South, so Uptown has the right ambiance for eggs and coffee. Wonderful place.

Yelp
Food: The food we ordered was great. I ordered a pineapple upside down pancake and oh lord that was so delicious. My best friend got the spicy Cajun Benedict and it was amazing too. They had a variety of sweet and savory dishes. Honestly would recommend. Although it is on the pricier side. Most meals averaged between $15 - $17. So a good splurge meal for a self care day. Service: The service was amazing. We were welcomed with smiles and the ladies who were there were truly amazing. Ambiance: It looks exactly what you would think a diner looks like. I loved the design and the blue was very complimentary. The booth area was my fave of course and they have plugs in certain areas. It gives a nice calm time to eat. Atleast the time we went which was around 3pm. Parking: They have parking which was amazing. Didn't have to pay for parking either. So easy and convenient. I was truly impressed and enjoyed the food and ambiance.

Love having breakfast here it is very good! Great atmosphere! Excellent customer service! If you're looking for a breakfast spot in uptown this would be the place!! I recommend it!

Yelp
It's been 5 years, so I figured it was time for an update! This spot is STILL one of my favorite greasy spoon brunch spots, with a legendary serving team that's been around for ages, all your favorite classic foods, and that feeling of community (or are we just all hungover together?) on a weekend morning. I'll keep this update short and sweet - here are some of my faves: - BYO omelet - corned beef hash - cajun breakfast (ask for the hollandaise on the side to smother on your own) - lunch: cubano (get the sweet potato tots as a side!) - my partner loves their pancakes and cinnamon rolls - I always order a chocolate milk hehe This place just feels like community and nostalgia, and I love that. Loading up on eggs and hashbrowns for weekend brunch just hits the spot!

Yelp
Uptown diner has good food but it rather expensive. Despite this, their staff is friendly and this is a great later night option. We love their waffle fries, egg dishes (egg white scramble), and burger. FOOD: Pretty good diner food. Not much more to say here. It's a diner and lives up to the title. Waffle fries are highly recommended. SERVICE: Reliably friendly PARKING: easy on the side of the restaurant on Hennepin. PRICE: definitely expensive. And more than you'd expect. But if you're craving diner food, it can hit the spot and be worth it. AMBIANCE: We order to go most of the time. But the interior has a typical diner feel.

Vicky A.

Yelp
The service was great. The tables and ambiance were great as well. I had the buffalo chicken salad and there was baby carrots in the salad and I love carrots but they were not cut up or anything there was about 7 of them in the salad and I just wish they had put shredded carrots instead of baby carrots. I had told the waitress and they were out of shredded carrots so hopefully next time I come in they had order shredded carrots instead of baby carrots because the salad was good and I would like to have it next time I come to enjoy a nice meal. My girlfriend had the cashew chicken sandwich it tasted good but she was also not okay with the amount of cashews that were in the sandwich. I also surprised they would put a lot of cashews too aren't they expensive. I think maybe a 1/2 cup or 1/3 cup is sufficient enough for the sandwich. It would help the restaurant save on food costs.

Yelp
We've been here many times, as it's my wife's go-to breakfast spot when we're in the cities. We usually have no trouble getting seated quickly, and the food comes out pretty quickly as well. Menu selection is good and I don't think I've ever had anything I haven't liked. The service has always been good as well. They also have ample off street parking. I can't say it's amazing - it's a pretty standard diner experience - the food is good but not out of this world. I did notice this time though, that the hotcake syrup seemed watered down. It wasn't very thick at all and tasted bland. It's usually busy and has a nice vibe. Even though I am not blown away by it - I will come back. If you just want a classic hot breakfast and coffee, and to get in and out quickly, you'll like it.
google avatar

Carly C.

Yelp
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good breakfast spot. They have all the classics on the menu & the service is great. I have never had to wait for a table & the food come out quick!

Yelp
Our waitress was incredibly kind and bubbly and made sure to check in at the perfect time (when mouth wasn't full of food lol). This is the 2nd time I've had them and it's always a joy, they were very accommodating and have warm energy. If you've never been here before make sure to try the pineapple upside down pancakes (sweet tooth's I'm looking at you). Their food in person is pretty decent and would def visit again and again.

Yelp
I love a good greasy spoon diner. The Minnesota themed omelet with wild rice was definitely a winner. I think our server could have been more communicative. Lots of staring and gesturing. Not a lot of question answering. Clean restrooms were an unexpected plus.

Yelp
Our experience here was super disappointing. The place was a cute, modern diner, but the food was all overcooked and the service was very slow for a extremely quiet weekday morning. I ordered a specialty - Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pancakes. There wasn't anything special about this pancake. It tasted worst than if I would had bought a store mix and threw chocolate chips in them. On top of the lacking flavor they were super dry. I also ordered a side of sausage links. They were crispy on the outside like they had been fried, again overcooked. My husband had the meat lovers omelet. There was only meat in the omelet, all fried. He described it as tasting grease with every bite. The hash browns were the only thing not overcooked, but they were undercooked, crunchy inside, so we were batting zero with this place. On top of it, the place was very expensive - a plain cup of coffee was $4.50 and good luck getting a refill on a slow day. We left wishing we would have gone somewhere else.

Yelp
We stopped by the Diner for a late night dinner and had a wonderful meal! we split the giant Uptown Burger (delicious!). and shared a side salad that was far far superior than any salad either of us had at any diner. Topped that off with a small order of spectacular sweet potato tater tots!! The wait staff was on top of it and the meal came out quickly with no problems. will definitely come back.

Yelp
Very disappointed in my first experience. Placed a carry out order over the phone, went to pick up. The service was fine, I paid for my food, went home, sat down to eat. The waffle fries were pretty good, crispy outside and soft inside. The burger threw me for a loop. I ordered the Uptown Burger, and paid $21 (my change wasn't even offered to me which I'm quickly learning is a local custom). The sourdough bread was only toasted on one side, which was really strange. The untoasted side flattened from pressure and heat and barely held on. The toasted side was nicer. The bacon was gummy and not pleasant to chew through. Not very flavorful either. Especially since the patty was DRY. Like DRY DRY. With nothing but mayo and a tiny tomato slice to wet the sandwich (the wilted single sheet of lettuce hanging on for dear life), it was a struggle to get through the first half of the burger. If it wasn't my first meal of the day and I wasn't famished I'm sure I would have made less progress. I feel sad. I was looking forward to a fancy tasty burger from a restaurant in my neighborhood. Very disappointed in my first experience, especially spending as much on a burger and fries as I did.

Yelp
So good! Can't wait for more pancakes were sweet and fluffy and the hollandaise sauce was perfect too. Can't wait to try all of their Benedict's

Yelp
Well it is Easter, and I decided to order breakfast from here. UberEats delivered to my address quickly in the morning. I got a Combo 2, with thick sausage, scrambled eggs, side of bacon and French toast was crunchy good. And it was super delicious to eat. I forgot to get hash browns, but next time! I'm very pleased with ordering from here.

Yelp
The gyro omelet, terrible just terrible..they use prepackaged gyro meat that when cooked turned the omelet into a great grease disaster. The service was great the atmosphere was nice too..

Yelp
While visiting Minneapolis we stumbled upon this place, walked in and it was busy we had a table in less than 3 minutes, service was quick and the food was fresh and delicious... Must Go
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
Terrible service. Great food. WTF there was a kid making shakes. Sat there 20 minutes, server never saw me. I ate here a few weeks ago and it ruled. But uhhhhh whoever is managing - tonight was - wow . You better be at least paying the kid making the shakes

Kaitlyn A.

Yelp
It's fine but the prices and surcharges are crazy for how low quality the food is. I've regretted my last two visits. I think the quality has drastically gone down hill in the last year. Service is great but if the food would improve to reflect the prices listed I would go back.
google avatar

Shayna T.

Yelp
This place never fails to disappoint...warm, delicious, comforting breakfast food that is honestly more food than you can eat..but did that stop us from snarfing our food down? Nope! If you're looking for a pick-me-up, a nice breakfast with pals, and hot and delicious comfort food, head over to Uptown Diner. You will not be disappointed. There is a parking lot in the back with a decent amount of space. Go early if you want to get in since there are restrictions due to COVID-19! (Not pictured: my group's appetizer cinnamon roll )

Yelp
I've been going to the Uptown Diner for almost 20 years. 20 years of Cajun Eggs Benedict. There were years when I ate this dish 2-3 times a month, and more recently its maybe 2-3 times a year. Yelpers, I'm having a moment. I have a longer relationship with this amazing dish than pretty much everything in my life. Five stars, Uptown Diner. I remember when this location was a Burger King and we were all so excited UD was moving a few blocks! I got the early scoop on this news from a guy at the laudromat. The locals wouldn't let BK get a drive through, so it was doomed. I remember getting a croissanwich at the BK a few times, but it was never my favorite. Some new fresh paint, and this location...still feels like a BK some times, but with art and artists and line cooks who totally honor your egg requests when they aren't too busy. I remember having a cinnamon roll once and thinking it was only ok. (Get those down the street) I believe the waffle fries are amazing. I have kids now that order things like cookie dough pancakes and you know what? They're pretty darn good. Pretty sure the staff here has always been arty and pierced and efficient and pleasant.

Yelp
OVERALL: Great classic greasy hangover place with big portions. FOOD: I would give the crab cake Benedict a 3/5. Crab cake is deep fried and the whole thing is smothered in Hollandaise sauce that is definitely not made in house. Cookies and cream shake was delicious, my friends French toast, eggs, and bacon were delicious. ATMOSPHERE: classic diner setting. Parking lot on site which is helpful when dealing with uptown. Can get really busy quickly on weekends! PRICE: entrees vary from $10-$15 which is entirely worth it for the portion sizes. SERVICE: we had a very attentive server and our food came quickly!

Yelp
Uptown Diner Girl She's waitressing in her uptown world I bet she's fed a lot of backstreet guys I bet her mama never told her why I'm gonna try for an Uptown Diner Girl She's been serving up her White Bread sides As long as anyone with hot coffee can And now she's serving to a Downtown man He ordered Spam And when she knows How much she earns for her time And when she wakes up And makes it to work on time This steak is not so tough Just because I'm in love with an Uptown Diner Girl The Uptown Diner is a really awesome 24-hour diner located exactly where you would expect it to be considering that it is named Uptown Diner. The service was really nice if a little rough around the edges, and the products are not bad - except that they didn't have what I came here for which was the famous pineapple hot cake because they were all out of pineapple sauce. I still ordered it anyway and it wasn't bad. It wasn't great but it was the atmosphere here that really made the place. The service. The clientele. The people squealing at me because of my muscles. Screaming for me to take off my shirt. Screaming when I did take off my shirt. Offering me their number. Fun times for sure. So the 5 stars is for the service, hours, clientele, and it existing, rather than for the 3-or-4 star food (depending on what you get). Now let's finish with Bruno Mars: This meal, with ice cold Michelle Pfeiffer, I mean tap water This one for them hood girls Them good girls straight Minnesotans Stylin', wilin', livin' it up in Twin Cities Got Chucks on with Saint Laurent Gotta kiss myself, I'm so pretty I'm too cold (cold damn) Called a heating company and the weatherman I'm too cold (cold damn) Make Mr Freeze wanna retire man I'm too cold (cold damn) Buy a space heater quick because damn Girls hit your space heater (brr) Girls hit your space heater (brr) Girls hit your space heater (brr) 'Cause Uptown Diner gon' give it to you 'Cause Uptown Diner gon' give it to you 'Cause Uptown Diner gon' give it to you Saturday night and we in the spot Don't believe me just munch (come on)

Yelp
I loved the cajun breakfast. The crispy hash browns, loads of melted cheese, generous hollandaise, lots of mushrooms throughout was tasty perfection. A couple of basics not so much. The 2 eggs were over medium at best. One slice of toast was so black, I can't believe they sent it out. The other slice was partially charred, although well buttered. Stellar service from veteran server Jo. It made our day to see each other after many years. I'm glad I was brought to this neighborhood again. Seeing what would be regulars reminded me what a visitor I was.
google avatar

Yelp
This diner is a cute little place. They have a limited menus, but what they have is great. My husband got a meat lovers omelette that was PACKED with meat. He was a very happy fellow. I got the avocado toast which was okay. Then we split a pineapple upside down pancake that was amazing! I would definitely come back again!
google avatar

Pritty L.

Yelp
food was good not great , server was rightfully stressed, open late, but also filled the pancake craving
google avatar

Kevin W.

Yelp
One of my most favorite, most reliably good breakfast spots in the Cities. Simple food, big portions, lots of flavor and a classic melting pot of people where everyone is welcome and everyone can be who they are. I'm a big fan of the Tex Mex although it definitely violates the don't eat anything bigger than your head rule. The staff here is great - once when I was here I asked for hot sauce and the waiter looked at me and asked if I like it really spicy which I do. He had just whipped up a batch of his own hot sauce which he wanted to know if I was willing to try. Yes please!! It was epic and just kind of epitomizes the friendly, laid back atmosphere.
google avatar

Yelp
Hmmm... mixed feelings about this place after reading the reviews and then going (why can't we do half stars. Let's just say it's a tiny step up from a grease diner and it's open conveniently for all the drunks at the establishments down the road. Remember in the 90s when all the 16-20 year olds hung out at a Perkins ? - that is this in uptown. It's not bad, it's not rock my foodie brain good - but if I am in the mood for large cheap (for the area) prices I'll be back. Their super large chocolate pancakes were great for a sweet craving. Service ladies were nice enough. Crab cakes are fake / fried - not sure about all the ranting and ravings on here. Check them out if you're in the mood for a grease burger and shake or breakfast for lunch or whatever. Should be a decent bet - especially if you scored a Groupon!

Yelp
First impression: Host Dude was wearing one of the dirtiest t-shirts I've ever seen. Ugh. Seriously looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Ketchup, grease, kitchen sink debris? Uh, nobody could lend the dude a clean shirt? I thought about buying one and handing it to him! So our party was waiting for one more to appear. Which meant they wouldn't seat us. (not uncommon) Finally, manager dude told dirty-shirt dude to "get them out of the way". Okay...so now we were out of their way and had a booth...yay! What a win-win! Waitress comes and asks if anyone wants coffee. Six of the seven of us did. The seventh (me) was never asked nor given the opportunity to order anything else. So water it was! Food: Some folks were quite happy with their meals. I ordered simple over-easy eggs with hashbrowns, and oh my! I kid you not, there was enough hashbrowns to feed all seven of us. Truly an obscene amount. The photo doesn't do it justice. But sadly, they tasted like fake ones. I would have much rather had a fraction of the amount and had 'em be real fresh taters. Then there was the moment when one in our group got to the bottom of his coffee cup and something large and paper-like came out. Bathroom wasn't very clean either.

Yelp
I honestly hate to give this place three stars, because the staff there are so kind, the food is decent. Decent. However, the ownership there has been hiking up the prices of food for a while now beyond what's reasonable, even for the state of our economy. The same omelette sells across the street for 4 to $5 less, and on top of that they have introduced a surcharge on top of their high prices. Prices. Like I said nothing against the people who work there or the food. You likely find better pricing during these trying times elsewhere.

Yelp
Busy late Sunday morning for brunch which is always a good sign! #3, #6, #8 and the chocolate chip cookie dough pancakes were all delicious! Our waitress was so friendly. Definitely recommend.

Karl V.

Yelp
If quantity was quality, the place would get five stars. The menu sounds good, having many brunch/breakfast options, but the preparation leaves much to be desired. I usually judge breakfast joints on how well they do basic things, like eggs, gravy, biscuits. In this instance, I ordered the biscuits and gravy platter, which includes two eggs and hashbrowns. It's a significant amount of food. The food arrived fairly quickly, considering how many people were there on a Saturday. First note: the eggs were over medium, not over easy; I can deal with that. The gravy portion was skimpy, considering the size of the biscuits, and it turned out to be cold in places and only warm in others; bad microwave! Bad, bad microwave! The sausage in the gravy was cut-up link sausages, and all-in-all it was tasteless other than for the pepper and I pushed it aside. The hashbrowns were decent and there was a sizeable portion. My wife thought the crab and eggs benedict was mediocre, and our friend was less than enthused about the chicken-fried steak. When the waiter came over, I mentioned that the gravy was cold and that he probably ought to pass that along to the kitchen. He said something like "Oh, really?" He also did not offer an adjustment to the bill. In all, very disappointing. I will not go back; nor will I recommend this place to anyone else. Considering I live in an apartment building, I have contact with a lot of people.

Yelp
I love this diner! It is the perfect spot in the cities to have a nice and relaxed breakfast. It isn't too hard to find parking in the area which is a huge plus. The chocolate chip cookie pancakes are to die for! They are some of the best pancakes that I have ever had. They almost seemed like dessert! Around us, some people got other breakfast items, which also looked really great too. The only complaint I have is that the tables were a little stick and we were missing some silverware, but overall it wasn't a huge deal! In the morning, it can be super busy, so you may have to wait to get seated. It is worth it though to get a great breakfast! If you are in the area and want some good breakfast food, come here! If you want something sweet, get the chocolate chip pancakes. They are truly mouthwatering!

Yorleidys O.

Yelp
Trashhhh. Over priced, the food was below average. Don't waste your time. The hash browns are greasy as hell. Don't really taste like potato's. French toast is hands down the worst I've ever had. Pancakes were decent tho. And the host was rude to us. We waited 25 min for this trash. Me And my girl requested a booth, after we were sat in a tiny table. The host denied the request twice and said it's ONLY for parties of 3+ .... 5 minutes later he sits TWO MEN RIGHT NEXT TO US IN A BOOTH!!!! We confront him and ask why and if we could have a booth, he stated " no. I know what I'm doing" We felt discriminated against... You can't have TRASH FOOD AND TRASH SERVICE. The google reviews lied. DONT WASTE YOUR COIN

Yelp
Waffle - light, crispy and sweet! Crab Cake Benedict - fried crab cake doused in hollandaise sauce. I enjoyed the topping but could of use more crab meat. It was surely a different take on the Benedict but would order again if in the mood. Veggie Burger - favorite wild rice veggie burger in Minnesota.

Yelp
Best milkshake in AMERICA !!!! COOKIE DOUGH MILKSHAKE!!!! 24 hour diner with huge menu of perfectly cooked food. Buns are made fresh by a local bakery so get ready to be impressed. Homemade cinnamon buns there too but a bit pricey at around $6. EVERYTHING is perfection here. Anytime!

Yelp
Nice place , nice and cozy very conveniently located before is always good the service depends on what day of the week you go to for the most part it's pretty good

Yelp
Uptown diner was a decent spot for a late night bite. I went here after exploring downtown Minneapolis and it was an interesting event. Let's start with the food. I ordered a cheese burger and fries. It was a decent burger and fries, nothing great about it but nothing bad either. My friend ordered the eggs Benedict and loved it. They raced about the sauce, I'm not an egg person so I didn't try it. So apparently give that dish a try. The service...it was good, like the burger, it was nothing great or bad about the experience. The people...if you are into people watching, this place will not be a disappointment. Go after 1 or 2 am on a Friday or Saturday night when the clubs let out lol. Overall...a decent place for a bite and some entertainment on a late night.

Yelp
Really good diner food! Pancakes are amazing and big, can be a busy because the place is a little smaller but worth any wait. Usually the countertop "bar" is open

Yelp
We were in town for Sound Set and the morning we were leaving we decided to stop for breakfast here. Food was great, service was great! I highly recommend it. We both got veggie omelets. They get crowded and parking is kinda rough but if you can get a spot, I do recommend this place.

Yelp
I just flew in from Atlanta this morning and a friend and colleague recommended Uptown Diner. I had the Classic Egg Benedict and it was flavorful . Made to perfection with crisp hash browns on the side . I'm going to make it a point to come back to Uptown Diner when I'm back in town to try other items on the menu . Exceptional , friendly service .

Yelp
I had the Cajun Breakfast. Obviously I was too hungry so photo was post bite of my toast. Friendly staff and great portion size. It was my first time. I'll definitely be going back.

Sam G.

Yelp
3.5/5 I got the blackened catfish with eggs and hash browns. The catfish was super good and the eggs were solid. The catfish had a nice Cajun seasoning and the eggs were done right. Let the catfish and eggs be the highlight though. I thought they went a little overboard on hash browns and it took over my plate. But overall solid. I would recommend this place. My girlfriend got the crab cake Benedict and it was phenomenal.

Jayahasan B.

Yelp
A default diner ambience, the food was tasty we had Cajun breakfast with out meat. It was pretty good, the hash browns were crispy. Apple waffle was crunchy with a lot of granola, pecans and nuts. Has good vegetarian options

Other than seeing outside the place a chick with just her undies on waiting for the public transit bus... I love the service we got, unfortunately I do not remember the lovely laddies name. She was more than helpful since it was my first time at this facility & she didn't want to rush me, even though I had insisted for her to just take my partners order first then come back for mine. Lovely gal! The food was amazing!!! The only thing I would say is take more time into cleaning the booths, there was still a receipt from the previous table that was there & the table was still wet and sticky when they set our napkins down so I had to ask for more. Which was no problem!

Yelp
OMG! This food just blew my mind. I drove pass this place every single day for work and today, my friends and I decided to give it a try because who can turn down cheese, fries and malt! We came in around noon and was seated right away. The servers are funny and nice. We realized that the special aren't served until 3pm, which made me a tad upset. However, I still craved for fries, burgers and malt so O ordered the anyway. My friend ordered egg Benedict, which he said was really good. For my burger, it was AWESOME! It was half a pound of beef and the meat was well done but still really really tender. They server it on sourdough bread, which I had never seen before but the combination was such a flavor delight. Their waffle fries are sooooo good: crunch outside but soft and potato-y inside. And you can tell that they use real potatoes for these waffle fries, not frozen pre-packaged fries. The malt was huge and it served with whipped cream. I thought it was good but it wasn't something too out of this world. In general: Service: 4/5 Food: 5/5 Burger+fries: 7/5 Ps: my friend said she would never comes back to Red Cow again after eating this burger. (Lol)
