This farmers market has a good amount of actual farms, with a mix of vendors with prepared goods. The best place to get vegan pastries in the city! My only complaint is that there isn’t a restroom or port-o-potty.

Last Saturday while we were vacationing from South Florida we saw from our hotel window that there was a local farmers market going on so my husband and I walked down and checked out the goods they were selling. There was a great selection of vendors selling local and organic foods, fruits, vegetables, juices, meats, eggs, flowers and Fresh Pet Food for your furry friends. We bought some fruit and took it to our hotel room for snacking. We like to support local businesses and farmers market whenever possible. I encourage everyone to buy local, you'll also help boost the local economy. 😊 Highly recommend! 100224

A pretty good market in the center of the city. The quality of the vendors are variable. Some vendors sell expensive goods, some sell great products that are cheap. They have great cheese and good fresh vegetables in this place. Support your local farmers! Parking is free during market hours. Place is clean.

It was my first time there. It was fun and interesting. So many different vendors there are selling so many different items. From fresh cut flowers to plants, veggies & fruit, eggs, to frozen meats and bakery items. There was even a food truck there selling plant based foods. My daughter and i arrived there late. We only had one hour to look around. But I loved what I saw. One vendor was selling beautiful mugs. We will definitely go back, but next time, earlier than we did today.

Pro tip: get a Three Little Birds breakfast burrito and add Delgado’s Fuego hot hot sauce. Man this place is the best.

Love the Farmers Market and the vendors, they are absolutely lovely but I don't feel safe going alone anymore after an encounter a few weekends ago. I had an older man follow me through the market, approach me and harass me, and wouldn't leave me alone when I told him I didn't know him and he was making me uncomfortable. I had to scream and get a passing stranger (male) to get this man to leave me alone. I saw no visible police or security presence and felt unsafe so I left while the bystander made sure the man didn't follow me back to my parking deck. Very unfortunate a single woman can't go out to a Market alone at 9 am on a Saturday morning, but this location is too close to the Transit Center and large groups of unhoused people for me to feel safe returning.

We went to this farmers market for the first time last weekend because we wanted to try Sumbucha. I wasn't looking forward to attempting to find free parking uptown, but I was hoping it wouldn't be too bad with Covid early on a Saturday morning. I was pleasantly surprised when we got there and I found out that the market has dedicated free parking and plenty of it! The market was really awesome. It's set up nicely for lots of social distancing. They have one way signs posted. It's not too crowded. There are some really cool vendors too. We got some kombucha from sumbucha and some Indian street food from Angry Nani. I wanted to get some Magpies but didn't realize you need to preorder now. Verdant Bread was also there which I've heard great things about. It's every Saturday from 8am-12:30pm. Go check it out!

Yelp
Amazing seeing all the local farms and being able to support them. Infused olive oil and fresh veggies are a must grab if you go to the market.

Yelp
Loved the entire Farmers Market, even in the rain. My favorite was the Cold Pressed Spirulina drink. Wow, I would be a regular there, if we lived in N.C. Thank you for talking to me about Cold Pressed Drinks and getting me to finally try them again!! Best of luck, your business will do great!! We also loved the soaps we got there too. But they did cause a bit of an issue and needed to be hand checked at the airport. (The bars were so dark when they were scanned by x-ray). Once they made it back to California the kids and my husband loved them. I got them each one and I picked it out to match them and what they might like. Thank you!

Yelp
Cute little farmers market in a parking lot. The vendors that I talked with were all very nice. I went on a Saturday morning and was able to grab a variety of cute items that I think are going to be great Christmas gifts: Extra Virgin Olive Oil Rosemary Dipping Blend from Hawleys Harvest Mr Habato Hot Sauce from Radiation Therapy Wildflower Honey & Honey Gift Set from Gather Ye Honey Puttanesca Dried Seasoning Mix from Mano Bella Artisan Foods Lavender & Rosemary from Aunt Victoria Again, if you are in the area visiting like me then come visit this market, there are so many cute vendors that you are able to grab a quick snack from or a gift for yourself or someone else!

Yelp
In the heart of downtown (uptown), Uptown Farmers Market provides your one stop shop for black owned, small business and locally sourced products and foods. Whatever your cause, you can find it right here. Handcrafted, homemade, all natural, local and/or black owned, there is something for you on Saturday mornings (rain or shine). They send out weekly emails letting you know what vendors will be present and what products they will have. There is free parking and seating available to either listen to a live local artist or to just devour something from a vendor or food truck. The market is clean, has volunteers available to help and has volunteer opportunities all year long. If you've never been, you need to go! It's a must on a Saturday morning outing.

Yelp
The start of the Uptown Farmers Market in April 2020 has definitely been a highlight of the year! It's a great addition to the community as a place to get local produce & goods, and it's very convenient for people walking or biking from around Uptown, in addition to ample parking spaces for driving in. It's been awesome to see the number of vendors grow over the summer and fall, and the location is spacious to allow for social distancing between the stands. A few of my favorite vendors have been Enderly Coffee, Seven Sisters Farm, Blossom & Bee Bakery, Verdant Bread, Blue Goat Dairy, The Craftsman Beverage Co, Berry Fields Farm, Evans Family Farm and Barber Farms. The live music is great and the volunteers are friendly & helpful. Also there's always a produce collection table for supporting the community through food donations to a local nonprofit, Roof Above. The market also accepts SNAP/EBT benefits and offers double bucks for customers to expand SNAP benefits further. Recently the market started having merch, with the logo on tote bags, T-shirts and hats made made a local business, Pepper Apparel Co.

Yelp
Such a fun morning at the farmers market. The vendors were all so sweet and engaging. I got some amazing bbq sauce from young's backyard bbq and sombucha kombucha which was so delicious. My husband grabbed a bottled latte from enderly coffee and it made for a sweet morning.

Yelp
Was a little disappointed, saw som products that you also can buy in the supermarket. Majority of the venders did sell farm products and fair prices.
