Well organized! There are vendors that sell all kinds of dietary restricted foods, I'm simply flabbergasted! I was not expecting to take home much as a first timer and boy was I wrong. We actually found sugar free, gluten free, low calorie, vegan desserts that ACTUALLY tasted delicious! I was shocked to find delicious vegan cream cheese. I tried crispy Samosas for the first time, it was so delicious and made my headache go away, this whole experience was enlightening for my daughter and i. To make it better, the people were in good spirits and all the well behaved dogs were a cherry on top!

This market is fantastic! It’s wonderful to get outside and walk around the market. There are great vendors and it gives you the opportunity to support local and create new connections. This is great for our community. I love all the chocolate and coffee. My favorite vendor is the one I get my spices from. I go through them so fast, they are delicious! They are made locally in Tempe, they are jam packed with flavor and they are ingredients I can actually say. Low sodium, gluten free, and I like that there are no suspicious ingredients. It’s cheaper to buy from the market. There is a seafood vendor that is incredible (i got a salmon dip) and i love buying my sourdough from the market!

I visited the Uptown Farmers Market at 5757 N Central Ave in Phoenix and was so glad I did. The vendor lineup is fantastic, everything from ultra-fresh produce and artisan breads to locally made specialty foods and handcrafted goods. The layout is easy to navigate, parking was plentiful, and the morning vibe is relaxed yet lively. I appreciated how many small Arizona producers were represented, which made the visit feel truly local and community-driven. If you’re looking for a farmers market that delivers quality, variety, and a friendly atmosphere, this one checks all the boxes.

Google
Uptown Farmers Market is a favorite weekend spot, it’s lively, welcoming, and full of amazing local vendors, all gathered in a clean, well-organized outdoor space that makes shopping feel like a treat rather than a chore. The variety is impressive: fresh produce, baked goods, artisan foods, handmade crafts, and even ready-to-eat treats, you can get everything from dinner ingredients to a fun snack or gift. The atmosphere is friendly and community-oriented; staff and vendors are always welcoming, and the mix of families, couples, and pet-owners gives it a relaxed, neighborhood vibe. Whether I’m shopping for groceries, grabbing a bite, or just browsing handmade goods, it’s consistently one of the best markets in Phoenix.

Google
Great selection of vendors here for fresh produce, pet items, clothing, Knick knacks, snacks and breakfast/lunch items with a ton of food stands. Very dog friendly location and we love seeing some many beautiful dogs come out which gives our dogs socialization opportunities as well. Parking is plentiful if you arrive early and they use an indoor area once it starts getting a bit hot. Prices are reasonable in general given that it is a farmers market so higher than your local Walmart but it reflects in quality of goods for sure. Great way to support small and local businesses while having a lovely Saturday morning!

Google
I live in Texas and visit the Phoenix area about twice a year. If I am here on market day, I don't miss! A few of my favorite vendors are Mr. K's, Little Italy, and Rough Life Dog Treats. Mr. K has unique and delicious cookies, quiche and coming soon...ice cream! My favorite cookies are the Earl Grey, Chili Mango, and the Elvis peanut butter banana. I love the spinach and mushrooms quiches and can't wait to try his ice cream! Little Italy has mozzarella made in site with samples. Their focaccia is wonderful and don't miss the caprese sandwich. I like mine with prosciutto. My pup loves Rough Life dog bones. They are super friendly and offer samples to the pups as well. They have an amazing variety and will help you pick out what's just right. Overall this is a wonderful market. It's large, sometimes very crowded, dog friendly on the campus by a place of worship with friendly docents, clean restrooms and a nice fellowship where you can cool off.

Google
The Uptown Farmers Market is now a non-negotiable part of my weekend routine with Freddy. The vendor lineup is amazing, and every week I enjoying buying from a different vendor. Many vendors also set out water bowls for the pups which is awesome. My usual haul includes fresh bread, salsa and chips, bagels, a dog bone for Freddy (his favorite part), and a few bath bombs. The market staff are always super friendly and helpful, which just makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for both humans and very spoiled dogs.

Google
Just drove a half hour to come to the weds farmers market. Double checked Google maps and the farmers market website 1st and everything said it was open today until 1pm. Arrived and couldn't find it. Called the farmers market number provided and no one answered. Wandered around church property trying to find it until finally the gym attendant told me it was cancelled due to weather. Um, it hasn't rained since 3am. Why were there no signs out saying it was canceled? Why doesn't the website warn that it could be closed due to inclement weather? Why isn't anyone answering the phone telling us it's cancelled? Why hasn't someone changed the voicemail telling us that it's cancelled? This was an extremely RUDE waste of my time. SO LOW LEVEL. DO BETTER.

Yelp
Had a great time at this farmers market! We visited on a hot July day, but we're able to avoid the hottest temperatures by arriving at 7:30 AM. Uptown farmers market is a year round market hosted on the grounds and parking lot of a church. Because of the location, there is a lot of parking! They're also able to host an indoor portion, which is great for cooling down in the summer! Vendors included produce, food and drink, and goods. I appreciate the variety at this farmers market and can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Be warned that most of these people make the food in their house with no regulations or observation from anybody in the food business. Also you should check on when they make the item because its usually stale by the time they sell it. Stick to the fresh veggies or grilled items. Raspberry juice - no taste Guava bananA cake - home kitchen Tortillas and bread - home kitchen. The charm of the market might eventually kill you.

Yelp
This AM, at "steadfast farmer" I've been coming here for a while, but somehow girls working there this am, wasn't happy somehow. I asked for bag, she just tossed small plastic to me. That small one plastic bag can't handled all items I bought. And people around them wasn't civilized either. Several folks Push me to get what they wanted.....! So I had several items haphazardly over their produces. I gathered , and pack it myself into my shopping bag and left. When I got home I realized that one main item was missing! If they put into the bag for me after I paid, it would never happened. I should start shopping at Downtown farmer's market. I don't know what's going on these days !!! So sad! People became so uncivilized :(

Yelp
This is my go to spot to buy honey. And it has been for many years! I have never been to their store (yet) but do go to the Farmers Market every couple of months just to buy honey from the Absolutely Delightful honey booth. Love it,

Yelp
I have lived here for well over 6 years, and I just never felt the need to visit this farmer's market. I live in the East Valley, so my go to was always the GFM. I can see WHY the Uptown Farmer's Market reigns supreme! We visit bright and early Saturday morning, arriving before 9:00AM. There was already a lot of attendees, but we managed to find good parking. Everything was well-organized with Lettered aisles, and some maps to locate the vendors. I was very impressed with the hand-wash stations, which is incredibly smart and helpful! We visited a few vendors for breakfast and looked for some cute trinkets. I highly recommend for those who are on the fence! Do not miss out, because not only did we meet incredible people, the vendors really take care of their place in the Farmer's Market! Shout out to: Agua Fabulosas - incredibly agua frescas and very nice people running the stand Blue House Coffee Goods - very good coffee, and very cute stand Copper State Bread - AWESOME breakfast sandwich and croissant SWITCH Beignets - THEEE best beignets in Arizona. Great personality, good coffee recs, and my little one absolutely DEVORED these beignets. We cannot wait to come back and try more awesome and local vendors!

Yelp
AFFORDABLE & GOOD! Love going here. Love supporting small owned businesses. The food quality is great; the people are lovely! If you're new to AZ, highly recommend. There is everything from produce, bread, drinks, food trucks, and even an inside area as well. Love the vibe here!

Yelp
The farmers market here is one of the things that brings me the most joy. It feels so good to support locally to see what everyone in the valley's craft is. I love the energy that the farmers market has, and even in the summer they moved their tents to the shaded grassy area by the church. Every time I come here, I always try something new and I love supporting some of my favorite local businesses. I love getting local honey, fresh eggs, eating all the delicious food, and bringing my dog here for the locally made treats and they love giving her samples (; the lines can definitely get long so make sure you come earlier in the day.

Yelp
If I could give this place a hug, I would. Uptown Farmers Market is my Saturday morning happy place. It is bursting with life, community, and the kind of fresh produce that actually tastes like something. I never leave without armfuls of gorgeous fruits, veggies, and usually some handmade salsa or mozzarella or bread that I swore I didn't need (but absolutely did). The flower stands? Stunning. And don't even get me started on the food trucks. Watching families stroll, kids dancing to live music, everyone chatting...it just fills your soul and I always leave with a smile on my face. This market is magic.

Yelp
Great farmers market! Love that they have an amazing indoor area too! Bathrooms are clean! Lots of vendors! Tons of parking! Great experience.

Yelp
Uptown Farmers Market is a bi-weekly Wednesday & Saturday morning (currently Saturday with Hours 7a-11a, open year-round) market on the SE corner of Central Ave. & Bethany Home Rd on the grounds of the North Phoenix Baptist Church with plenty of parking. There is Locally grown vegetables, raised meats and products such as soaps, honey, breads, drinks and jewelry. There is also pet treats. The vendor list changes weekly. Make sure to hit one of the food vendors towards the back right - not to mention all the food trucks in the parking lot. There is a little seating area, and folks do share the table with others. There is also an information booth that can help get around.

Yelp
Need a good reason to support the farmers market? It's a great way to connect with your community. We came here on a sunny Saturday morning and spent an hour or so perusing items, shopping for crystals, and talking with various business owners. If we weren't going to a coffee shop nearby for some food and coffee, we would have easily hit up some stalls for some good eats. BBQ? Empanadas? They have so many tantalizing tasty treats! Love a good farmers market and this one is one of the larger ones in the valley. Bring your reusable bags and go shopping! It's always nice supporting local!
google avatar

Yelp
Super fun, you can bring the dog! Handicapped accessible but! Lots of walking even to get to car so wheelchair is advised. I did not bring one for my Dad and let's say he is tired! And we vit did have to cut the visit short. I bought local farm honey, gluten free donuts, coffee for dad and kumbacha for me.
google avatar

Yelp
I had a lot of fun at the Uptown Farmers Market on Wednesday. The people were nice and they had cool produce and other things for sale.
google avatar

Eddie O.

Yelp
Came here on Saturday afternoon with the wife & let me tell you I was very impressed with locals here ! Very friendly and a lot of options ! A lot of free samples and allowed us to choose and pick ! I like that they don't force the sale on us and came naturally and verse caring to !
google avatar

Ron R.

Yelp
By far the best farmer's market in Phoenix area. At least there is some produce. Lots of vendors and decent parking. Plentiful food trucks.
google avatar

Ngoc H.

Yelp
My friend and I went here this morning since we had plans to celebrate her birthday at nearby restaurant. Everything was quite organized here with plenty of parking. We had a good time. Didn't stay as long as we wanted because it was so dang hot but will be back. Tons of vendors and people. I liked that everything was labeled with signs.
google avatar

Tanya G.

Yelp
Authentic Columbian empanadas were delicious. Love my fresh cold pressed juices. Double fisted baby!! Cloudy day did not put a damper on the vendors or crowd.
google avatar

Yelp
I checked out the Uptown Farmers Market yesterday and was not disappointed! This market had all of my favorite things; local food, local artists, and friendly people. This is one of the largest markets I've ever been to and I was a little intimidated at first, but I did manage to see everything. I ended up with malasadas from Aloha Kekes, a super flavorful green Chile and cheddar bread from copper state bread, a garlic grating plate, and energy bars from a honey shop that I'm forgetting the name of. Definitely give this market a try!
google avatar

Yelp
No better place to spend a Saturday morning. There are so many amazing vendors here - from food to crafts, they have just about anything you could want or need. Grab a bite to eat, a beverage, pick up some fresh produce, gifts for everyone on your list, and don't forget a little something for yourself too. Dog treats? Yeah, you can get those too. So many options! They're also open on Wednesday, though with work, I'm not able to visit. I always wish they'd open at 7am so I might make a quick stop on my way to work for one of the amazing breakfast options, but alas, it's a 9am opening. That's ok, I'll just wait until Saturday.
google avatar

Paul M.

Yelp
Great farmers' market with lots of parking and nice booths! We came on a Wednesday before thanksgiving and quickly found parking in a nice spacious lot. Vendors were great and there were a lot of wonderful dogs with their owners. We got some yogurt with dates and honey, some watermelon juice, and our 4 year old daughter had her face painted by a talented artist. All the produce we saw looked great and there was a lot of activity at a few booth favorites.
google avatar

Natasha A.

Yelp
Solid farmer's market. Lots of parking available, kids area, lots of breakfast and coffee options, great number of local vendors from produce by local farms to jams, lotions, and more. Worth a look. Family and friends both have enjoyed this one. Restrooms are inside the fitness building. Only negative is since it's great, it's very busy so be prepared to wait in line for food or drinks. Bought: -Orange Blossom Honey from Amadio Ranch -Noble Bread -Jams from Periodyc Baker -3rd Floor Smoke Surf & Turf Breakfast Burrito
google avatar

Yelp
This is an amazing farmers market which is situated on one side of a north Phoenix church (this church is one of the most elaborate and prettiest grounds I've ever seen for a church). Their summer hours are every Wednesday and Saturday 7:00am-11:00am. There's a variety of choices here from food trucks, produce, dairy products, protein products, tea, saurkraut, and more. It's a great place to support local and to buy non-processed foods.
google avatar

Yelp
Great farmer's market to come visit. Family friendly and Dog friendly. Tons of food vendors. Great homemade finds.
google avatar

Yelp
This market is excellent all rhe eay atound and had grown. It has so many vendor's and a huge variety. From organic veggies, to pasta and sauces,to pottery makers, a wide array of jewelry, dog treats, and clothing. It has soooo much!

Yelp
Uptown Farmers Market blew all my farmers market dreams out of the water! My brother suggested we meet here during my time in Arizona and I'm so happy he did. The farmers market takes place in a church parking lot, but there is still PLENTY of parking space despite how busy and big the market is. There were rows and rows of vendors with a wide variety of products. Homemade breads, jams, honey, produce, pottery, clothing, jewelry, and more! Plus, lots of food and drinks to enjoy while exploring the various vendors. If I didn't have a flight home with only a carry on, I would have made way more purchases, but we DID go home with a strawberry rhubarb pie that was voted best in AZ in 2021. It was amazing!! It's definitely a family friendly event, they even had an interactive area dedicated for the kiddos to play! I loved seeing all the cute dogs too. Uptown Farmers Market happens every Saturday from 8am-1pm and Wednesdays from 9am-1pm. If you're in the PHX area, I cannot recommend it enough!
google avatar

Maya K.

Yelp
One of my most favorite things to do in Phoenix, is go to the uptown farmers market. They are open Wednesdays + Saturdays (follow them to see updated hours) Saturdays are the best days to go since there are dozens of vendors compared to Wednesdays which have less vendors. My tip is to walk through the whole market as early in the morning as possible and then decide what you want to get/eat lol I used to get so overwhelmed when I would to come here but now I have my go-to vendors. Keep in mind it does get busy here mainly on Saturdays. Luckily there is PLENTY of parking but if you want front row parking, go early!
google avatar

Yolanda B.

Yelp
Love walking the farmers market and buying local. Love seeing how friendly people are with the Dogs. Some venders have very long lines more help would be super useful.
google avatar

Martha Q.

Yelp
Great market, lots of food options and cute vendors! Lots of people take their doggies which is great because there are vendors who sell dog treats for a great price! Lots of coffee options, and food trucks! Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Ashley R.

Yelp
They have a great assortment and selection of different foods, baked goods, drinks, knick knacks, etc. It is open on Wednesday and Saturday. I have gone on Wednesday morning and it was so nice and less crowded. They have a different selection of vendors on each day and some are the same for both days. It's definitely one of the better farmers markets I've been to. I also came on a Saturday and it was way too crowded and not enjoyable. The farmer's market is in a church parking lot. The parking lot is massive and all of the parking spaces were full and people were double parking just to come here. You could barely walk through the lines of people and their dogs. There were lines over ten people long just to get food or visit a vendor booth. Go early on Saturday and not later in the morning to avoid a headache.
google avatar

Nicholas T.

Yelp
An amazing place and the food choices were outstanding. We loved the different options.
google avatar

Grace D.

Yelp
I've been to the Downtown Farmers Market and the Scottsdale Farmers Market, and I think this one is the best in the area. My opinion is based on the number and variety of vendors here -- this one is the biggest. If you're looking for it, they have it here, whether that's ready to eat food and drinks, produce, or other types of goods. The location is also convenient, with easy parking in the lot of the church that hosts the market. For visiting in warmer months, there's some decent shade, bathrooms, and even an indoor section. It's dog and dog lover friendly. One thing to note is that they have earlier hours than some markets, so going in the morning is necessary.
google avatar

Amanda C.

Yelp
My favorite farmers market in town! Tons of vendors and a huge variety. Great place to just try new foods for breakfast or lunch. This time of year in November it gets quite crowded since the weather is cooler so I suggest arriving before 10am to avoid longer lines. If you have lots of time to browse and don't mind waiting then any time is fine. Arrived at 10:30 and took a bit to find parking but eventually got a spot. Pet friendly and lots of dogs!
google avatar

Sam F.

Yelp
Definitely need to give this place a second chance in the fall because it's so huge but they're downfall is that it's so huge with a lot of prepared food vendors as well as non-farmers market items such as bounce houses advertising for parties, knife sharpening, clothing shops.... making it almost like a arts and crafts market or flea market with very little fresh fruits and veggies
google avatar

Barb G.

Yelp
We went because of a Barking Bodega pop-up event, which was so great! The area was fenced off, large, and on grass so chucking tennis balls was great! They had races for different breeds and the area was big enough to handle the racing and still allow other dogs to run and play! This is a huge farmers market with a variety of veggies, craft booths, and tons of food booths. Loved the way it is organized in lettered rows to make it easy to browse up and down the rows. Highly recommend this event! Made a full morning for us!
google avatar

Jessica H.

Yelp
I had such a fun time at this farmers market! I'm visiting from out of town so I couldn't get everything I wanted, but my friend and I had many different kind of international cuisines that made up our lunch! We also tried pickled pineapple, bought some crystals, bought some GF and vegan protein bars, admired tons of adorable dogs, and of course for some actual produce. This is an awesome activity to do with friends. I wish I lived close and could come every week.
google avatar

Lauren T.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this farmer's market. Coming from an east coast city, I felt this market had so much more to offer than the ones I frequent. Everyone was so creative and unique and I appreciated the vast variety of vendors vs. just produce and baked goods stands (those looked great as well). There were also some phenomenal coffee pop-ups. My friend and I ended up walking away with a great haul including some new clothes, hats, jewelry, finishing salt, dog treats, chai tea. I am jealous of the locals who can go here all the time! Highly recommend.
google avatar

Ali B.

Yelp
One of my very favorite markets in the valley! It is twice per week so I take advantage of the smaller Wednesday one whenever I happen to have off work as the Saturday one gets super busy sometimes. They have a ton of vendors and plenty of variety! Love how they do it partially indoors during the summer so it can be enjoyed year round. Lots of parking here too. Awesome market to visit.
google avatar

Zamaree B.

Yelp
Fun weekend activity! I believe they have it every Saturday. So many vendors to choose from. They people that sell clothes, jewelry, raw local honey, different kinds of foods and drinks, and all sorts of things!

Glory B.

Yelp
Excellent in every way. The Somali food was especially delicious, we also loved the food from the Thai vendor (that peanut sauce! ) and Mr. Ken's cookies.

Kelly H.

Yelp
Got there early on Saturday, most venders were already mostly set up. A lot of different things for everyone, very dog friendly. Food trucks were also very good as well as the different produce selections. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good local farmers market
google avatar

Jason Albert S.

Yelp
A wonderful market with a plethora of food choices and charming vendor booths! Many folks bring their dogs along, which is fabulous as there are vendors offering dog treats at reasonable prices. There's no shortage of coffee selections and food trucks! Definitely a place I'd recommend!
google avatar

Jaclyn G.

Yelp
LOVE this market! Don't let the church parking lot deceive you. This is best farmer's market we've found in Phoenix! Honey, produce, bread, meat, fish, artisan crafts, etc. LOVE IT. Definitely worth checking out! Some must see vendors are: Terra Meats (go here first! He sells out of his delicious wagyu early!) Today he was at G3 in the back right but they seem to change vendor location The Tamale Store Loose Leaf Tea Market Prickly Pear Tea Co.

Rosanne W.

Yelp
I enjoy this Farmers Market! Recently I sampled corn nuts, tart cherries, olive oils. The people are so friendly with a great atmosphere. Close by to restaurants. Live music and good times. Sunday mornings

Jane M.

Yelp
Very disappointed as they no longer redeem the Seniors/Wic vouchers, AZFMNP each year. As of 2024 they said upon my visit yesterday. Quote from information desk: "The Vendors weren't happy with the program, redemption's or weren't complying and Uptown just canceled it" . Now the only available market within a reasonable distance is RoadRunner and yesterday the vendors' tables were bare. Maybe later in the year. UPSIDE: the vouchers are good till NOve 30 2025 and the extras till Dec 31 2025!!
google avatar

Leslie G.

Yelp
This is definitely one of the better farmers markets in the Valley. First, it is huge! Of course you have your actual farmers selling veggies, fruit, etc (you wouldn't think I would have to point this out, but a few farmers markets around might have 1 farmer and the rest just crafts). Food trucks galore, Lot of dog treat booths (yes, dog friendly market!!) Then lots of homemade crafts, household items, etc Try coming and not buying anything....bet you can't! During Covid the booths have been spread out and it really makes it easier to navigate around. Hope they keep it like this as time goes on.
google avatar

Stephanie T.

Yelp
So many food booths!!!!! So happy with the variety of foods that were being sold. Definitely go early if you want to get what you need and bring a rolling cooler
google avatar

Nikole C.

Yelp
This is our second year visiting the Uptown Farmers Market and I have to say it's our favorite market in the city. They have a huge variety of stuff from homemade honey, breads, fruits and veggies, to homemade crafts and household items. They also have a wide variety of food trucks serving Indian food, Mexican food, Asian, fresh made lemonades, lattes and more. It's a huge market with lots of space to roam and abide by social distancing. They do ask that you still wear masks outdoors. This year they are allowing dogs on a short leash , which I love! They have plenty of parking as well. Make sure to check it out if you haven't yet. Let's support local together and take the family for some fun:)
google avatar

Hailey P.

Yelp
My favorite place to go on a Saturday morning! Friends, this is absolutely one of the best farmers markets in the Valley! The amount/variety of vendors that they have is incredible. My usual haul includes organic fruits and veggies, tasty breakfast burritos during a shopping break, bread, pickled goods, hummus/dips, Mama's Cold Brew, and sometimes a new plant for our home! I just popped in at the end of summer and they still had some vendors inside but also outside to allow for social distancing, which I so appreciate! It is so much fun to come here when the weather is nice - makes a great family outing! I noticed they had a cute fresh lemonade stand called The Local Lemon that I will definitely be trying next time! The line was a little too long in the heat this time. I can't wait to visit every Saturday this fall/winter. I love supporting local and have found that the produce prices really aren't that much more than big grocery stores! So worth it!
