Wow . Absolutely gobsmacked by how big this place is. Pricing is very very good , Came across some albums I have wanted for quite a while on vinyl & Just had to buy . Staff very friendly & excellent restaurant in the garden centre , Well worth the 124 mile round trip from Cambridge . Will be visiting again real soon

Awesome record shop.. lots of trance, progressive, house music etc, which can be hard to come by these days. There is also a staff member with fair hair I would estimate in his 40s, he was working today (5/9/25) and had a green top with bicycles on. Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and he has gone the extra mile for me on each visit. The perfect person to have at front of house in a small business, it can be difficult to find somebody who maintains a smile and genuine warm attitude to customers in retail roles. Please pass on my thanks to this gentlemen, having somebody like this at front of house is what makes you a store to remember.

Drove 90 miles to visit Well worth driving further, words can't do the place justice The stock is incredible and the staff very very friendly Make sure you visit the collectables section at the back The rest of the garden centre is definitely worth a visit very friendly staff and plenty to look at

Regionally this is the place, and their claims of the biggest independent store in England? holds true. The prices are nice too, staff friendly, you could spend a couple of months in here looking, and I'm not exaggerating. Vinyl I got is clean, well priced, obscure stuff going on as well, some great rarities, and new releases. Oddly enough it's in a garden centre, the small entrance gives way to an absolute tardis. Everything from rock n roll on 10" shellac to good ole Taylor Swift. Also a strong comic and memorabilia section.

This place is a day out in its own right. Huge selection of music. Vinyls, singles, CDs, tapes etc etc all well priced. Absolutely sound blokes that run it too. To get to it you have to go through the garden centre. Which too is worth visiting. Would recommend to any music collector at any level. 5* from us.

It's a great place to buy vinyls CDs and even laser discs. If you are in the area. I highly recommend a visit. As the site is very extensive and you could spend a day there looking around. You may even get a gem if a vinyl that you've been looking. 5*.

Fabulous! First visit to Uptown Records today, I will definitely be returning. Only managed to skim through a tiny percentage of what the store has to offer. A lovely welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, listening station and help to hand. Perfect! 5⭐'s

Passed through today for the first time and I’ll definitely visit again! Friendly team of people on hand, a huge selection of records and some real bargains to be had too.
