Great local coffee shop in a cute vintage house. We were passing through town and wanted to find a local coffee shop that wasn’t too far from the interstate. Friendly and quick service. We were welcomed immediately when we walked in and the staff was friendly when taking the order. We ordered lattes with soy milk and they tasted very good with the perfect temperature. Cute place for working or meeting up with people with different rooms and spaces to sit, including on the large porch and seating on the front lawn. Wish I could have stayed longer. Easy street parallel parking.

Visiting from UK pies are amazing. Loved the Blueberry, Chocolate and the Southern Tomato Pie! Beautiful old building. Definitely worth a try!

Old home converted into a cute, quirky coffee house with lots of seating space in the rooms. A large outdoor patio as well! The baked goods were phenomenal, all made in house !!

Located half a mile from the Civil Rights Museum is Urban Foxes. It’s located on a hill haha and is a very colorful and eccentric home that’s been flipped. You walk up the stairs (watch your step really) and you walk in and the register is to the left. Google was a little unreliable in this capacity as it claimed breakfast here but they just do coffee and pies. Should’ve looked at their website fwiw. However they do have a seasonal menu and I got a pork sandwich. Each room in the house is now repurposed and has seating. Each room has a little bit of a different vibe and it’s a cool spot! We sat ourselves in the dining room and drank our POTENT coffee. Now our food took long enough that we were getting restless but it finally arrived Pork Sandwich 8/10 - now since this is seasonal it may not be there when you go! However this was really nice. The bread was crunchy and as you can see the cheese was cheesing lol. If you want to be hippie and go drink some quality coffee in a neat spot. This is a go to! Follow me on IG eats_by_puig

This is such a wonderfully quaint place. I stumbled across this place when looking for dog friendly places since we have our dog traveling with us today. The people there are super friendly and very helpful. The decor is very unique but lovely down. The way they re-did the house was awesome. The Fox Scout Latte (hot) was extremely delicious and sweet just the way I like my coffee. My husband tried two of the three kombucha options and enjoyed both. For lunch I got the Lunch box and got a delicious grilled cheese sandwich, an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie, and a bag of kettle chips. There was a lot of cheese which I really like. My husband got the Sprummer sandwich and he really enjoyed it as well. I love how unique the food options are. We unfortunately got too full to try any of the pastries but they looked delicious! We sat out front since the backyard was full and there was a really nice breeze running through and our dog enjoyed meeting all the people that came through. Hopefully we will get to come back soon!

I had done a brief search for coffee while visiting Jackson, and the pictures posted made it look like a great spot to grab a coffee and read for a while. The atmosphere was warm and the employees were extremely kind, and even showed in interesting about the book I was reading. It’s the simple things that help make an environment welcoming. I ordered an iced lavender latte and the coffee was so smooth.

After spending time at MS Farmers Market we made our way to Urban Foxes after locating it on the map for something nearby. What a pleasant surprise to find this little gem! A beautiful house converted into a coffee house with fresh baked goods. It’s a wonderful little place to have coffee/tea with a great book or do little work. The two staff members were pleasant. Wish I’d taken more pictures of the inside!

I'll start out by saying that I am completely biased. This location is 2 blocks from my home, and I can literally come here at anytime of the business day and have consistency. The food is always delicious even though they always had new offerings. The coffee latte drink selections are always delicious, even though they always have new offerings that are seasonal and the service is superior. There's always a smile. There's always a good conversation or sometimes there's just a perfectly seamless transaction that requires nothing except you asking for what you want, and you're getting your receipt, when it's ready. It's never slow. It's never too busy that you have to wait. And they have great Wi-Fi connections that are pretty much protected. The music of the AC cereals are right. Almost agentic, in the sense that it seems to always match my mood. I love this place shout out to Cody Cox and staff.

Excellent pie made with good ingredients by people who care about what they do. If you are a pie pilgrim, as I am, try the Apple. Brought me back 40 years to my grandma's kitchen. The savory potato pie with hot honey sauce also excellent.

Coffee was amazing! Literally some of the best coffee I've ever had. Service was very good. The vibe of the place was easy. The hubs had the blueberry lemon pie with a crumbed topping. The blueberries were plentiful and the hint of lemon was perfect. I had the chocolate ganache. It was extremely rich like eating fudge. Not my favorite. The crust was buttery and flaky, the best part of the slice. I wouldn't get it again. I was a little disappointed in the pie flavor selection to be honest. I think I was buying into Urban Foxes being on the Yelp list as the best pie in Mississippi. I was expecting a pie focus.

By far the coolest cafe I have been to - located in an old house the cafe has a lot of character and charm. There are multiple rooms throughout the house where you can sit and enjoy your coffee or baked goods or on a nice day you can take it outside on the back patio. I am not much of a coffee drinker, but was tempted by some of their drinks. I hope they expand their menu to include some matcha drinks next! I ordered a hot chocolate and coconut lemon scone. I wish I was hungry enough to try the pies because they all looked so good! The scone was yummy and flavorful. Definitely a great spot to try even if you're only in town for a quick visit.

Stopped in on my road trip for some coffee and I'm so glad I did! Cutest coffee spot with inside and outside seating. It literally felt like I was in someone's home. Added plus ... LGBTQIA+ flag!

Always great! I tried the honey chess pie this time but forgot to take a pic before devouring. The matcha latte was wonderful.

This was such a lovely Yelp find and caffeine pit stop for our journey north. It's so fun to see spots like Urban Foxes in smaller to midtown cities. From the minute we pulled up, it was hard not to smile at their charming and welcoming facade. We arrived right after they opened and ordered an iced latte and cappuccino with oat milk. It took every ounce of self control in me not to load up on their stunning pies- key lime, honey chess pie, chocolate ganache and so on. It smelled like cookies were fresh out of the oven. The house and setup couldn't be sweeter. Each room was decorated in a cozy manner with woodland folksy wallpaper in the bathroom and plentiful picnic benches and seating in the front yard, porch and back yard. This place appears to be built for COVID times exterior-wise. The iced latte was delicious and oat milk cappuccino seemed to have something a little off with the milk. I couldn't put my finger on it and I love oat milk. Overall, you can't go wrong with a pit stop here. Only wishing I had this front porch to enjoy and work in the warmer months in Indy...

Excellent eatery. Everything I have tried is delicious. Sweet, savory doesn't matter. The coffee is great, not bitter and they have practically any kind you could want. Highly recommended.

The exterior of the building obviously at one time was a home. Very large building. Enough space to probably host an event. Very quiet atmosphere. The owner was really nice. Urban foxes specializes in House made pies, freshly baked scones, and other pastries. There's also vegan options. I tried the Tres leches poundcake, and a latte. It was my first time checking it out while in Jackson. Myself and some friends met up there. There's also backyard space with outdoor seating. Lots of space.

I found Urban Foxes on Yelp while visiting Jackson. I decided to walk there from the hotel, which was an interesting journey through a historic Jackson neighborhood. Once I got there, I realized I'd found my people. You can get pie and coffee in a fun, artsy, homey environment. They are located in an old house, and decorated with some interesting furniture, like the tiger chair, and art by local artists. There's a rotating menu of pies so you've got to check the board or socials to know what's available. I'd suggest the pie flight for $12 if you can't decide which pie to go with. I tried the lemon, salted honey chess, and coconut chess. The lemon was exactly what you would think, creamy, tart, on a Graham cracker crust. We were split on the chess pies. The salted honey was great, a nice twist on the traditional chess pie. The coconut had a good flavor, but was packed with coconut, like a little too much coconut. I grabbed an iced dirty chai latte. It was the best I've ever had. All of the chai flavor with none of the grit you get sometimes from other places. The staff was amazing. They talked to everyone that came in, and not like small talk, like "where are you from, oh I know such-and-such there! Now we're friends!" This is definitely a Jackson gem.

Chicken curry savory pie was delicious! As was the cinnamon (cheesecake) Lovely counter person.

The best baked goods. My all time fave are the chocolate chip scones. The staff is always so friendly and they make a great latte!

We pass through Jackson once or twice a year and have tried all the coffee shops. This place has THE BEST cappuccino in Jax, hands down. Nobody else even comes close. Nice foam and very tasty coffee. We will never go to another coffee shop in Jackson! Urban Foxes for the win!!

Ok....I have found a new hang out. This place is super chil with a great staff. The coffee is very good but the pie flight we sampled was out of this world. Conveniently located on North Street it is easily accessible from anywhere downtown. You need to check this place out either by yourself or with a group of friends.

Urban Foxes is the perfect addition to not only The Heights but Jackson! The coffee is always perfect but the eats and treats set the bar incredibly high! From uniquely paired flavors unmatched throughout menus of the area, to down-home southern baked staples, they rotate a delicious menu that's sure to please! Love stopping by any chance I get!

Solid coffee shop in Jackson. Likely my favorite in the Jackson metro area. Good beans used for coffee. Baristas are solid with the drinks. Pies and baked goods are the best in Jackson, hands down. Very nice coffee shop.

Gosh this place is the best. Whether you're in the mood for the best grilled cheese (with pickles!) you've ever had in your life, the best chai latte in town, or the best PB pie of all time, this place never misses. I always have a hard time deciding between getting my standard favorites or trying something new, because everything is SO GOOD. Try the ham Parmesan scone if you want something savory, or the tomato pie! They also have a great beer, kombucha, and tea selection as well! I've gone on stormy days to sit on the front porch and read, and I've also taken my dog and my nephews there to play in the backyard. Between the food, location, and staff, this is honestly one of my favorite places in all of Jackson!

Great place to get some amazing deserts and feel like your sitting at home on your porch for a late morning pick me up.

I've lived in Manhattan, Miami, NY, Boston, and London and this is one of the top five most stylish and comfy coffee shops I've EVER been to, anywhere. By far, the best in Jackson, as well. The coffee is delicious, the wifi is fast, the employees efficient and friendly, and there are various seating options, both indoors and outdoors. I specifically sought out Urban Foxes because they are hosting an rescue-dog adoption event there next weekend. This shows the owners have a good heart, share my values, and care about the community. So I wanted to give htem my business regardless but, damn, this place rocks!

One of my favorite places in Jackson. The coffee is good, the food is amazing, and I love the yummy holiday pies. The pies are ordered in advance, and they come in a glass pie plate that you return for a small store credit. I think that is so cool and I love the sustainability! I do wish the cups and straws were less plastic based and more sustainable, but I bet they will get there eventually. Also, the workers are always nice and friendly, which adds to the warm ambiance. All in all, I can't say enough good things about Urban Foxes!

Good espresso, good environment, good barista. I would drive the extra 15 minutes to come here for a meet up or to do homework. Very cool and "local" vibe.

Made a plan to stop here as we were traveling through the area and had read great reviews. It didn't disappoint! Great coffee, spectacular atmosphere, clean restroom, very courteous staff. Just loved it. So cozy! Would absolutely return next time I'm in the area.

The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff make you feel at home. They have artwork by local artist which add to the lovely aesthetic of the bakery that does coffee on the side. If you're in town, make sure to stop by and grab some pie!

Tomato Pie is great!!! Located in an older hour near Baptist Hospital and downtown Jackson. Nice folks!

Fantastic place, close for an escape from your day job. Free WiFi, so bring your work if you need to. Quiche, scones, muffins, coffee, tea...a nice outside area when the weather is right with several rooms to choose from inside.

Well, I wanted to grab a pie beore going to the In-Laws in Crystal Springs. I was in Jackson from TN. Came upon the most amazing key lime pie ever, ever. Better than the best of the best in Florida. The space is open and welcoming; and the tribute to Nina Simone, lovely.

I never spend just $5 at this place. I have to get their pb pie which is my favorite and a different beer to go every time. There's also a variety of cookies and scones to choose from and everything is well priced. I know every time i come here i will walk away with a bag full of goodies. There's a beautiful outdoor to sit when the weather is nice and the employees wear masks. I also love studying here when i can. I wish they were open longer but i definitely try to come on an off day.

After yet another disappointing lunch in Mississippi, I was craving an espresso and something sweet, and we happened upon this cafe online. It was love at first sight when I saw the chocolate pie, and man, it did not disappoint. This might have been the best thing I ate in 2019. I don't usually eat cream at restaurants because it always turns out to be the gross kind out of the can, but here they make it fresh, and it tastes like heaven. Days later I still find myself thinking about this pie.

My mother and I stopped here while in Jackson on our Natchez trace trip. We stopped at quite a few coffee shops on our trip, but urban foxes was both of our favorite. Delicious drinks of course (mocha and caramel latte). They had amazing looking pastries and desserts, but we did not partake. The best thing about it was the lovely building with lots of quiet, private areas for people to read, study, work and visit. They also have great seating areas out front and out back. It made it easy to find a spot to enjoy your drink and visit without disturbing others. They also had nice music playing. It was just lovely. Wish it was in my hometown!

One of the best reasons to live in Belhaven if not the only. This coffee shop isn't just a coffee shop, it's a groovy, swanky, hip, multi cultural and any other word that a Gen X adjunct professor would use to attract millennial patrons coffee-beer- pie and cool people bistro. The service is top notch, the food will knock you on you a** if you think this is some regular degular bakery. The sausage roll is phenomenal and I've never heard of one before UF (that's what the kids call it). Seriously check it out. Bring the family, bring friends, bring one of those books that you won't read. TL;DR: food good, drink good, feel good.

Wish I could give them 10 stars! Excellent customer service and treats! I had the grilled cheese and a slice of chocolate cake and took a scone for tomorrow's breakfast. Highly recommend.

I've since moved away from Jackson, but my memories of spending hours writing, daydreaming, indulging in the finest baked goods and coffee are some of the sweetest memories of my time in Mississippi's capital. From the Nina Simone artwork, to the amazing playlists, to the perfect southern porch, this house converted into a coffee shop really makes all who enter feel at home. The baristas are friendly and patient. Run don't walk here and get a lemon icebox pie for me.

Visiting out of town and had to stop by, this place is cute, cool, has great customer service and amazing cappuccinos and sweets galore! Luuuved it!

I would not recommend this place to anyone. No southern hospitality whatsoever. No one said anything to us as we walked in. No one explained the menu. We were left to figure it out. Two stars for the coffee because it was good. 4 scones 3 coffees and a banana bread slice $40. Ouch!!!

Chanced upon this place on a road trip with my friends. Food was good, owners were very accommodating and took the time to explain the items available that day. Everything seems freshly baked. Chocolate cake was very moist even after a day on the road.

If you're looking for a locally owned coffee house with good coffee, fresh pastries and pies this is your spot. We had a mocha, sausage roll and tomato pie and they were all fantastic. This will be our spot when we come back to town.

The coffee is perfect and pies are, well...what's better than perfect? Plenty of outdoor seating if you're trying to maintain social distance. It's run by people who know hospitality and know how to make their guests happy. Do yourself a favor and get one extra slice to share. The hardest part will be choosing which pie.

I was recently in Jackson, MS and so grateful my daughter wanted to visit one of her favorite places, Urban Foxes. What a great place!! While there's no service inside, they've plenty of outdoor space to social distance and enjoy their amazing pastries!!! I opted for the Pecan Sandies (yes two). Best.EVER. Made from a homemade recipe, with plenty of butter and a little something special, they are melt-in-your-mouth yummy. My daughter had the Lemon Refrigerator Pie with homemade whipping cream. I sampled the filling and the cream. Another yummmm ... If you're in Jackson and haven't been, you need to get to U Foxes!
