"Sometimes you wake up and realise that the last vegetable you ate was that potato six days ago. And yes, if we’re being honest, that potato had been deep-fried and came in a faux bacon rub. Behold, Urban Greens, the perfect place for certified Exciting Salads. On Palmer Street, they offer up a big menu of vegetable medleys packed full of habanero, hummus, sesame-marinated glass noodles, peanuts, pickled carrots, Norwegian shrimp, and other things that laugh in the face of a sad caesar. Our personal favourite is the beef saigon number because of the winning texture combination of broccoli crunch, tender pulled brisket, and little surprise bites of peanut. Although there is some seating, these hefty salads are perfect for a grab-and-go work lunch. Or if you’re feeling wholesome, find a nice little spot in St James’s Park." - Heidi Lauth Beasley

Love the concept but could be so much better! The Kimchi was definitely not kimchi; it was carrots with cabbage with vinegar. More of a kraut than anything else. Table was dirty, asked staff for a cloth to wipe it. She said she’d already cleaned it and that’s just how the table looked. I wiped sticky goop off, she went back behind the counter. Left much to be desired.

Love this salad bar! It’s Halal, fresh and delicious ✨ Portions are great but prices are a little high. I still go several times a week because it’s so good. Staff are lovely too ☺️

I’m a BIG salad lover and Urban Greens blew me away!! They are far above average with their innovative sauces, crisp and flavourful greens and creative salad combinations. I could EASILY eat here every day! Prices are reasonable considering portions and high quality of produce! Before you think you don’t have enough sauce to go around be sure to mix it up well — there is more than enough to coat every veggie in your bowl! Soooooo good!!! 🤩🤩🤩

Big fan of Urban Greens! The options are great, it is a bit pricey but the quality is ace. They also let you bring your own box, in a move towards being more sustainable, which is appreciated. The atmosphere is lovely and the team are fantastic.

Really great place for a quick, healthy, fresh bowl! There are several options to choose from. The ingredients were all fresh and tasted good. The sauces were amazing! The interior was also very calming and natural. I loved the tree in the centre of the place. The staff was so kind - Lavinia was so attentive and helpful, and prepared everything super quickly. She was also very knowledgeable about the ingredients given that I have an allergy. The prices are extremely reasonable given the quality.

Am a regular to UG in Victoria. The smell when you walk in is divine - how l want my kitchen to smell. There’s only one dish for me, Beef Saigon. Not usually a fan of salads as a main meal but these are exceptional. Ingredients are perfect together and dressing is spot on. Could have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner, yum!

I love salads but I usually make them myself because I rarely find somewhere worth the money that suits my taste. This place is genuinely super tasty - their ingredients are fresh and quite unique to be honest! Reasonably priced, especially due to the location. My new go-to lunch choice for sure.

Wanted a quick, healthy lunch that was still delicious. That’s exactly what we got. The server gladly made substitutions to accommodate my aversion to cilantro. Highly recommend!
