Urban Hikes Kansas City

I recently went on an Art & History Urban Hike in Westside led by Lisa and was amazed at all the “secret”/hidden jewels that this neighborhood offered (stairs, views, buildings, murals etc), even though I’ve been living very close for years. Having Lisa as our guide was a huge plus because she was not only very knowledgeable about the area but also about Kansas City’s past and present history. Definitely a fun way to discover or rediscover Kansas City!

The Strawberry Hill and downtown KC, KS hike was amazing! I have lived in the KC area my entire life and had always wondered about the history of this area. Our tour guide Christy, was amazing with her vast knowledge of the history of this area and I don’t know how she remembered all the facts and dates she shared with us!! The area is so rich with the history of immigration and how our country prospered because of it. The Strawberry Hill area has retained a real sense of community with numerous programs to benefit the youth of the area. I would highly recommend this hike.

We had a fabulous time and learned so much on our urban hike. Christy was our guide and she was so knowledgeable about all things Strawberry Hill, Wyandotte County, and Kansas City. It was a super hot and humid day and she gave us lots of breaks and options along the walk to keep us happy.

This was such a great experience for us - we will definitely be back! We went on the Rosedale Arch, Volker & Roanoke Bi-State Urban Hike and our guide Christy was so knowledgeable about many aspects of the neighborhood. We enjoyed the walk and the guided tour of the Thomas Hart Benton home. Highly recommend!

Great experience! Our guide Lisa was so knowledgeable, kind, and punctual! I can't wait to go on another hike through KC! I also want to take my girls on a kid hike! It sounds so fun!

We enjoyed our tour with brittany. The tour was as described in the marketing material. Brittany was very knowledgable, used her microphone effectively so we could hear, had a nice pace, and explained our next moves in advance. We had lovely weather and it was a grand experience. Next time we would arrive early and have breakfast at the market.
