Great restaurant! No grill just soups that you cook adding the meat and whatever else you select. Price is about 33 dollars a person but unlimited food. All in all great place!

First time there, experience was unique. It is an all you can eat dinner, you just order your broth and then meats, veggies and seafood with a tablet as you want more and they bring it out or it is delivered with a robot (I've only seen these at 1 other place). There are tons of food options and staff was very friendly and explained everything.

First time dining in and was a wonderful experience. All you can eat with Desserts includes with many fun options to choose from. Got the herb pork broth and tried so Many things: Lamb, pork, mushrooms, taro, lotus root, pumpkin, dumplings, shrimp, squid, veggies, quail egg, noodles etc. You can also make your own dipping sauce or try a few from their large selection. Cute robot brought us our drinks. Left feeling so full and content. I'm sure we will be back!

It was my first time to visit this restaurant and I was really impressed with everything. There was a wide variety of options to satisfy just about anyone's taste buds. I like spicy but it may not be for everyone. I will say this about Urban Hot Pot. If you like soup based food and oriental foods you've got to try this place once. If you like it...you'll be a repeat customer.

This was my daughter and my first time ever trying Hot Pot and we had the best time! The food was SO good and the staff are so sweet and attentive, everyone had a smile on their faces. I can’t wait to come back again!!

Urban Hot Pot is an absolute blast. The food is consistently good, the atmosphere is lively, and it's just an incredibly fun place to eat with friends or celebrate something. The sauce bar is excellent, tons of options, everything clearly labeled so you can mix and match like a pro. There's a conveyor belt winding around the restaurant which adds a fun, quirky vibe. I don't usually grab anything off it, but I love that it's there, it gives the place energy. The crawfish on the dinner menu? Amazing. Spicy, flavorful, and made fresh when you order. The selection of meats, veggies, and seafood is generous and well-curated. It's also priced really reasonably for the quality and quantity of food you get. Bonus tip: if it's your birthday, tell them. Things get wild. Think: music blasting, lights flashing, and a dancing bear. Not even kidding, it's a whole show. Friendly staff, good vibes, and delicious hot pot? Highly recommend.

Came here for our anniversary dinner. I really wasn't impressed. The staff was very friendly and informative, giving helpful instructions. Even making recommendations. Ordering is done from a tablet, so if you're unfamiliar, let them help. Just about everything we ordered was bland and flavorless. For $35 a person I was really disappointed with how dull the food was. So y'know $100 evening for two bowls of soup basically. Could've made stove top ramen that was better. They have a robot that brings out drinks etc. Also, there is a conveyor belt that tracks the center of the restaurant that constantly has frozen al la carte items for you to grab and try. It should go without saying, but for those that don't know how hot pot works, you should do your research first. You have to cook your own food, which is cool. But don't go in thinking you're being served cooked food. Everything arrives frozen for you to cook in your broth pot. Experience was cool, but the food sucks and isn't worth the price. Will not be returning.

One of the best hotpot places I have been in the Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Chesapeake Area. It is super clean here. The sauce bar has every single thing you need for your sauce. The waiter is a robot that will bring you your drink order. All of the meats were high quality and the veggies were fresh too. No reservations needed during lunch times, but I recommend making reservations for dinner. They share a whole parking lot with other shops and restaurants on the strip.

Talk about an experience! Plenty to eat! Robotice server as needed. Plenty of parking available. Awesome staff! Definitely a chill place to have a girl's luncheon!

In the area for the a couple days and found this gem. Hotpot with a conveyor belt! Inside ambience is bright with neon lights. Experience was stellar. Service was really good. Sauce selection was vast as was the selection of ingredients. Order from an iPad, but also have the option to try different things in smaller portions from the conveyor belt. Lots of options for broth bases as well. I had the Tom Yum, others at my table had the miso, vegetable and spicy bases. All were delish. The portions that come out are on the small side so order more. 90 minute time limit went a bit quick for 4 of us but we had a great time and everything was really tasty. Definitely a great place for Hotpot.

I was fortunate enough to win a gift card here on IG. I was excited since I had been wanting to check this place out! This is strictly hotpot NOT BBQ, which I'm completely okay with. It's not a large establishment but their use of space is phenomenal and their neon signs and clean & contemporary style is pleasant. All our servers & bussers were kind & helpful. I love that you order from a tablet at your table. It's super convenient and efficient! It's extremely helpful, so you can visualize & keep track of what you've already ordered. The hand sanitizer wipes are an added bonus. Hygiene is key! I attempted to follow some of the sauce recipes listed at the sauce bar. But apparently I don't have a solid grasp of identifying spices & herbs. haha So I did my best by reading the corresponding labels. Tongs are located at the bar for picking up your raw food items once brought to your table. I'm such a little kid when it comes to novelty dining. I'm a sucker for it. The robot had me smiling and cracking up. It serves you drinks and some of your food items. This adds to the dining experience. It even plays music and greets you! The robot is a godsend for those chatty customers, when employees are on a mission. It quickly took off once I tapped the button. But not before saying, Thanks! BYE! Gotta go!! I was seriously bummed out when I found out that the conveyor belt doesn't run until 5pm. I purposely chose dinner time (after 4pm), because that's when the conveyor belt is in use. Fortunately, We still had time when 5pm rolled around. Super silly, I know but I really enjoyed watching the small plates of various hot pot items pass our table ready for picking. Although, I didn't grab anything from it. I'm not very adventurous when it comes to food. (I need to make more effort.) An assortment of desserts are included with the price, some items are an additional charge. It will list the price if there is one. Same goes for specialty hotpot items. Overall, it was a lovely experience. I really love the robot and conveyor belt. Service was quick & efficient! The tablets are a great idea, as well as the robot. Human servers are there to help as well! They have a nice variety of hot pot items both meat & veggie wise, in addition to cooked cold dishes. Although there was a minor hiccup or two with placing orders it didn't spoil our experience. Our ice cream order didn't arrive, so we just placed it again. We couldn't delete an additional charge item that my sister accidentally clicked. So we called for human assistance via the tablet and he rectified it. The delete button sometimes gets stuck. Went here on a date night. My wife had never been to a hotpot place. And honestly, last one I went to had the hotpot and grill. This was a bit new to me and I'm glad we went. When you sit down, there's a rotating conveyor belt of food that randomly passes you. Feel free to grab whatever you want as part of your meal. Just be ready as if you find something you like, you'll find yourself spontaneously grabbing it almost every time it passes. Makes you full real quick. =) But seriously, the menu is quite extensive and the sauce bar even more. There's no combination of sauce that couldn't be invented at that bar. My absolute favorite place in Chesapeake VA. Just down the street from my house. This is where you will catch me on a random Tuesday or Wednesday. This gem of a restaurant is unique in its own way from other hot pot places. You start off first ordering on a tablet. This includes your broth, veggies, meat, sides, and of course your drinks. After you submit the order, shortly after the robot servant will bring you your drinks. Which is so jarring at first! But it's pretty fun after you start to watch it go around the dining area delivering people's drinks. After that while you are waiting you could go to the sauce bar and grab your condiments. You could get a bowl of hoisin sauce, siracha, soy sauce, or even my favorite: boom boom sauce. Which is like a sweet and spicy sort of mayonnaise based sauce. After they deliver the pot of broth for you and your compadres they set the dial to high on the stove in front of you. When they deliver the veggies, meats, and sides you can start cookin! Yes, you will have to cook the foods all by yourself. So if you're not willing to put in some work this place may not be for you. But it's real easy! I like it better this way since I can take the food right from the pot when it's ready. My preference is the Tom Yum broth, egg noodles, tofu, and pork belly to start off, with an assortment of veggies. This combo is the most satisfying to me. Especially after cooking the pork belly in Tom yum broth then dipping it in the boom boom sauce. So tasty! You can reorder more if you're really feeling hungry. They only charge you per person. So most items on the menu don't have a limit. With the exception of a few premium items and drinks. My apologies, I could go on and on about how much me and my wife love this place. But this gives you an idea of what to expect and how to start off especially if you're on the fence about this kind of restaurant. Don't overthink it. Just go!

Growing up in Asia and among many Asian cultures as an American I always get excited when something authentic comes into our area. Every Asian culture has their own version of hot pot just about and Urban Hotpot shares that diversity within their menu. Everything is customizable in every step of the way so if you're not too sure or are new to Asian cuisine's experiencing this is a good start. I enjoy the fact that it's pretty much all you can eat so the opportunity to venture as far as you want is accessible. The staff is friendly and helps understand how to dine hotpot style for those who are new to it. I can't wait until our next visit because it's a hit for me every single time!

This is definitely my favorite Hot Pot in the Area. I am from Virginia Beach and I do not mind driving here. Whenbthey first opened i think i was here weekly. Its just soooooooo good! There is Quality in the meat + lots of veggie and seafood options! I like how there's lots of broth options too! I enjoy coming here with my friends as it's perfect for sharing :) Customer service is always at its best and Workers are always attentive even when it gets busy! As for the Ambiance: 5/5 Very large, clean, and cute space! And let me tell you about the ventilation, its amazing. If theres one thing i don't like, it's smelling like the food from where you ate and trust me you wont have that issue here. When my friend suggested this after a weekend meditation I was totally down. I'm loving savory soups and curries right now and wanted to have my drinks served by a robot waiter. Haha. It's in a new strip mall near Aldi and is in a great location near the new Dollar store HQ where some great restaurants have been added. Plenty of parking and gorgeous updated restrooms here with a modern look and some cute neon lights inside for insta moments. The concept is like Melting Pot where they bring you a base in a pot and you cook it at your own table by adding in as much or as little of the ingredients as you'd like. They have a sauce bar where you can make your own sauces out of dozens of potential ingredients all ready for you with some suggested recipes on the wall. Think oils and scallions and garlic and hot pepper flakes. On weekends you pay dinner prices but this also means you get more premium add-in proteins like steak and shrimp. Delicious! Everything basic is included like all the veggies, appetizers and meats. Hostess/servers will greet you and explain the process if you have any questions - then you're free to order on the iPad as you wish and it will be promptly brought out for you. You can always even order for someone to stop by on the iPad and they'll come to the table if you have questions. Loved it. My soup was great and a few desserts were included. You can order premium not included items like crab legs and matcha cheesecake but really everything you need is included in the set fee so it's all up to you! For drinks you'll get hot tea or water with lemon or pay for soda and Thai teas.

We decided to try this hot pot establishment after debating between this and 757 in Chesapeake. We made reservations through Yelp, which was easy. We notified the person at the door when we arrived and were seated upon arrival. The waitress explained everything, as it was our first time eating there. The food was all very good and the service was quick. Bonus points for having a robot bring you the drink. My only knock is the price. It was a little more expensive than I thought it was going to be. For two of us having the regular dinner service and one bottle of soju (375ml) it was a little over $80. Again, the food was good, the service was good, and it was a very energetic atmosphere.

If you have never been to Hot Pot, I would highly recommend trying Urban! The service here is impeccable. When I say they are attentive and are really fast, it would be an understatement. I've been here a couple of times and the employees are very nice and always willing to help first timers. We constantly were being checked up on and making sure our soup bases were filled and our waters were good. When you enter you are immediately sat down, and once you start ordering from the iPad, no more than 3 minutes all of your food items start to come out. They have a sauce bar and a robot that will bring drinks, ice cream, and desserts to you My favorite are the pork dumplings. I honestly could and would eat hundreds of them. The meat cooks while in the soup base. It takes about 10 seconds to cook and then you can eat! You can order as much as you want, and the employees will bring it out FAST. The ambiance is very much modern. They play a lot of K-Pop music which is a plus for my husband. Overall, I am very pleased with Urban. We will be making this one of our recurring dates!

Always a good time here. I take anyone who visits from out of town here! Worth the price. Service is fast, and the robots are fun. Love the sauce bar. The food is always delicious, and super fun being able to cook and experiment at the table. The ambiance is nice with cute decorations without doing too much!

If you are looking for some Hot Pot, I would highly recommend trying this modern and elegant spot. The service here is quick and impeccable! We made reservations through Yelp and were seated upon arrival. The employees are all very nice and will take their time to help first timers at this location (like us). The food selection and the sauce bar are vast and all very good. On top of that, the employees will constantly check up on you to ensure your soup bases and drinks are always filled. The coolest part of this experience was the conveyor belt in which you may grab food items from and the robot which assists in bringing you your drinks and sometimes part of your order! Overall, we are very pleased with Urban Hot Pot and we are surely to come back!

We used to go to another hotpot in the area and not sure how I missed this one! But I can hands down say, this is now our favorite hotpot spot! My family came for my birthday and were Instantly impressed by the cleanliness and nice modern aesthetic! We loved the ease of ordering on the iPad and the servers were all pleasant and helped us, being first timers there. So there is no bbq; it's all hotpot. My daughter wasn't sure if she'd like it because she likes bbq. But she ended up loving this place for many reasons... mainly the desserts and the robot! The robot was pretty fun, I admit! The conveyor belt is neat but not accessible at every table. However, this really is not an issue because they're all things that can be ordered on the iPad at the table. But it's a novelty that's fun the first time. I ordered the widely recommended tom yum broth, and it was a great choice. I loved it! While you have to pay extra for crab legs here (unlike the other hotpot place), this place still ended up my preferred location. The meats were really fresh and good, and the veggies were in decent portions and also very fresh. I like getting baby bok choy, enoki mushroom, dried mushroom, pumpkin, sprouts, sweet potato. The dumplings are great too! I like to make my own sauce combo of just chili oil, vinegar, sesame oil, scallions, garlic, soy sauce and/or oyster sauce, and salt. The sauce area is kind of small, but it's fine; you're not spending much time there. We really enjoy the rotating Asian cakes of the day. Like many Asian desserts, they are not overly sweet, which I like. The portions are small, as are the ice creams, but you can keep ordering more if you like. I love the coconut sago dessert! It's just so refreshing. It's basically tapioca and taro in a sweet coconut milk, and served cold. Although there could be more tapioca in it, I could eat multiple of these! (And I do!) I now just make it myself at home though. Definitely recommend asking them to do a birthday surprise for anyone with a birthday! I don't usually like these things, but they were just so fun and cute! They held lit up "happy birthday" signs, one dressed as a bear, and brought a multi cake (remember they're small sizes so it was a normal slice size now! ) with a candle. It was really nice! We liked it so much we came back for Mother's Day a few days later!! And the best was, they were giving away a cute crossbody pouch to all Mothers that weekend ! Nothing really bad. Sometimes an order doesn't go through or is delayed but no biggie... just be patient or reorder it (if it's included!). Will definitely be returning many more times for sure!

We were in a late night prowl for Hot Pot and stumbled across this place. Besides the cool decor the thing that draws people into this place is the use of technology! They have a robot that brings your food and drinks to the table. They also have a conveyor belt with food items that you can grab off it as you dine. They also have a really cool sauce bar where you can make your own sauce concoction to put into your hot pot! Overall the service was good, the food was served fast and we had a great time!! I was so excited to hear that Urban Hot Pot opened in our area! I'm used to the ones in Maryland and I loved it and I loved this location even more. Firstly, the restaurant is well kept - employees often cleaning the sauce bar frequently! Normally, sauce bars at hot pot restaurants are messy due to the nature of sauces being everywhere. Awesome job! Food was great..I really enjoyed the cold dish tripe, various beef cuts, and tendons! I liked it so much I'm going again soon. I just wish it wasn't in Chesapeake..and instead in Norfolk and Virginia Beach area. One recommendation would be - one more scoop of ice cream please..single scoop doesn't cut it! Also, maybe tone down the EDM a tad bit.

First time at a hot pot, the confusion was real. Showed up on a Tuesday, a bit after dinner started. It's an $8 difference from lunch to dinner, but you get more choices of meat to pick from. We were greeted and given a brief run down of how things works. The host showed us how to order using their iPad system, explained what was included and what was not, then directed us to the sauce bar when we were ready. Honestly I was overwhelmed, and confused for a while. We all ordered but when things came out, nothing was 'labeled' and we ended up getting extra items we hadn't ordered. So we all were sitting there confused looking at each other. Super glad an employee was at the next table over, and we asked her what was what when she had a moment. As you eat you can order more meat, veggies, drinks, desserts, and their little extras. We had a party of 4. It was a little frustrating, for example, we would order 2 sides of dumplings for us all to share, but they'd bring out 4 dumplings total (sometimes 6). They also had their conveyor belt going, with other little items you could grab. I am not adventurous with playing is it intestines or something else, and because nothing was labeled, I did not partake lol. Over all it was quite a nice experience. It was fun getting to cook my own food, make dipping sauces (I used their recommendations they had listed) and just trying something new. I loved that I wasn't bloated or feeling like I was going to burst after. We're adding this to our date night (okay probably for lunch lol) ideas for down the road.

Positives: roving robot, fresh food, delicious soup broth, sauce bar, conveyor belt options... Negative: you kind of need to rely on your server to explain what to do, and for us, our server really didn't do a thorough job of guiding us thru the experience.... Overall, a very good dinner with my husband to celebrate his birthday... lots of choices though the conveyor belt offered no labels or explanations of what was going by... if you've been to a hot pot or better yet know what to expect, it's great! If you're new at this, bring your sense of adventure & dive in!

On cold nights I need a nice serving of hot pot filled with tons of bike choy, seafood and mushrooms with a side of kimchi. Urban Hot Pot has arrived in the Hampton Roads area and offering unlimited proteins, veggies and any sauce concoction that you can create for under $40 per person. Included in that reasonable price is dessert which ranges from ice cream to ice jelly.

The go to spot for my wife and I. You order food using an ipad and it's brought to you instantly. The quality of the meats & broths is amazing. We literally come here once a month faithfully for my cheat meals. The music & the setup is a plus too.

Super great service and the staff are awesome too. It was our very first time EVER eating hot pot and first time at this restaurant. The staff were perfectly wonderful explaining everything. Such a great experience I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Each of us got to choose our very own broth as each of us had our very own hot pot. You get to order exactly what you want from the IPad . As soon as you order the ROBOT (Yes I said ROBOT) brings your drinks. Super cool because not only is a ROBOT serving you your drinks it also plays some happy music as it is delivering your drinks. Everything came quickly and everything was super fresh. Everything is so custom to your individual wants and needs from the broth, drinks, meat, veggies, noodles and the list goes on and on. OH Yeah super cool sauce bar too. If your not familiar with the sauce part I recommend doing what I did and looked up some YouTube videos on how to make hot pot dipping sauce. With my group of 5 people. We all enjoyed making the sauce and all the sauces we made were completely different.

This place had been on our try list for so long but we always thought it would be intimidating with the cooking the meals etc. Let me tell you it was amazing and glad we decided to go! We had our 8 year old daughter with us and she had the best time trying different foods, cooking her own meal and just enjoying a good family time together! When we arrived, the host explained the process which is super simple (love that!) as soon as we placed the order our food started arriving and it was delicious. We each got a different soup base which was great since I'm a vegetarian so we did not have to sacrifice foods due to this. Everything was super delicious and it felt like having a meal at our own table with sharing foods etc. We will be visiting again soon as this is in our favorite list now!

This restaurant opened recently so we gave it a try. Note that the hours on yelp need to be updated because they are open to lunch too (Chesapeake: Sun-Thurs: 12pm-10pm, Fri-Sat: 1pm-11pm) We got there and was immediately greeted even once we opened the first door. Loved the decor and vibe inside. It's so modern and clean. There's a conveyor belt that gives you different options from the menu so you can try instead of waiting to place an order. They also have a robot that helps bring drinks and food to you. Very cool and futuristic, the robot was able to bring us our drinks. They also have an iPad so you can order food and don't have to wait for the servers to keep taking you food orders. Very efficient and fast, other restaurants need to incorporate this concept too!! We started our orders with original, miso and Tom yum soup based and then ordered a bunch of veggies and meats. While waiting we went to the sauce bar and started to make our own sauce concoctions. When we got back to our table orders started coming in and we turned our stoves on to begin. Everything was sooo good. The soup base was flavorful all the toppings - veggies, meats were all fresh and cooked fast. We all loved this place!!! They also provide desserts so we ordered about one of each to try at first. We all loved the coconut sago so don't miss out on that dessert. We had to order seconds!! It wasn't overly sweet and it was nice and refreshing, so very addicting. We will be back again and I see us becoming regulars. Pls open one in va beach as well!!!

I wanted to like this place; I did. But in an effort to create an ambiance that was this swank, upscale, tech savvy establishment(and it's all those things), it's lacking the human interaction. It just felt impersonal. You order from an iPad; your food is delivered by a robotic shelf. I wanted to know WHAT was in the soup base because there is only a picture on the iPad. It does not tell you what's in it--just the name. You just have to guess based on a pic on the app. There is a button on the iPad you can ask an actual server to come to your table. He wasn't sure of the contents but he was very willing to go ask. Having been to other HOT POT places, the choices of veggies and meats are almost limitless. Not here. Yes you get a variety, but it was only a few selections. But again, once you have gone to a HOT POT that has so much, you anticipate that same concept is standard. It's almost "tapas" like. Order quail eggs, you get 2. Order potatoes, you get three slices. Because it was Sunday, the price was automatically the dinner price ($32 each), and that included the "after 4PM" options like crab. Cooking a whole crab (well, let me be honest you get a whole crab CUT IN HALF) in soup is not exactly the best way to cook a crab. We ordered an eclectic array and it's not enough to share; it's almost like the servings they bring is just for one soup base. Again, it's not like that at other HOT POT places. Yes, you could order more, however. The buffet at the front was designed for you to pick your spices. I did like they offered suggestions on a chalkboard that allowed you to create certain flavors. There is a conveyor belt right down the center of the restaurant and random items slide along. It's pretty cool except nothing is labeled. If you are adventurous and don't mind trying unknown items, then this could be your thing. I am not that adventurous, so I didn't pick anything up. The concept of this restaurant is interesting. If I want to show someone a creative evening, I would return. My family, however expects more when we HOT POT.

Checked out the new spot on a Friday and was surprisingly sat right away. Love the ambiance and aesthetics which was very modern and clean. You order on the iPad at your table and can also use the iPad to get your check. Thought that option was cool because other locations we try to flag down our waiters. They were very prompt when bringing out our food. We tried our go to beef and pork meats and veggies which were great and the soup base I tried was original. I also loved the ability to choose desserts too. Although, Josh we had more options, it was great that they did offer it. Will definitely return.

We come here about every month, and try to come for lunch during the weekends for the special on the price. If you come later in the day they have a conveyer going on with different foods. The drinks and desserts are brought about by a robot, and is always quick. The meats and other items that go in the pot come out by the servers. They have always been friendly and check on us often. The soups are always flavorful and there is a good amount of choose from. The sauce bar also has a large selection and stays clean and organized. The inside of the store is clean, modern and has music going the whole time. Our smaller complaint is that sometimes you will request some of the meats or other items like dumplings and they will bring out the smaller portions. I know this is to prevent wastes, but I always feel bad making them come out so often. The sanitizing wipes they have at table are very convenient also. One other note, they switched from ceramic/re-usable chop sticks before, but now they are wooden, which aren't as nice.

Another Hot Pot restaurant is popping up in Hampton Roads and I'm all the way for it! Urban Hot Pot is exclusively hot pot and not Korean BBQ so full disclosure. It's located in a bustling new area in "downtown" Chesapeake and it's a welcome sight. Apparently, Urban Hot Pot has locations in Northern Virginia and are expanding down here in this area We decided to pop in during lunchtime on a weekday and it was not too busy. The interior seemed clean and beautifully decorated and the tables had separate hot plates for each person. The waiter gave us instructions on ordering and showed us the sauce bar from which we can make custom sauces. The urban part about this is that a singing automated serving plate comes to you with your drinks and various orders. We chose to try the hot mala, original broth, and Tom yum broth soup with all the toppings. The mala is spicy so beware and the Tom yum soup was our favorite. The various meats and toppings all came out fast and fresh. They do give a lot of veggies so beware but it's a great portion. We were absolutely satisfied by the end and will absolutely come back. Solid experience!!

Its an AYCE HOTPOT and its one if the better ones in Chesepeak and they have the extra spicy mala sauce which i lovedd! The conveyor belt is cool too!

I had a wonderful time with my friends at hotpot tonight! It was my first time experience and I appreciate the help and guidance from the friendly staff. Clarissa was especially helpful in helping me make the perfect sauce, thank you Clarissa! Ren, Lin, Jerry everyone was super cool and fun! The inside is modern contemporary, very chic. The music is the best. Food was delicious, there's all types of meat, seafood and unique veggies. Lotus root was new to me and I loved it. Fish balls were sooo good ! If you're adventurous with trying new foods I'd definitely go to hotpot. Parking is ample, place is located across from First Watch Chesapeake. Making reservations definitely was a plus and I'd recommend it.

Our family of five has been here about 4 times within 6 months. The service was always consistent, attentive and helpful. Quality of food was still high as the first time. Restaurant was clean. MAINTAIN IT, KEEP IT UP!

Highly recommend! One of few restaurants that have some of the best staff! I asked for their recommended sauce & one of the servers made it for me. The all you can eat was fulfilling. They also have parts of the menu that are not a part of the buffet. It was very nice inside. More than enough space at each table. Well decorated. I would come back again!

This is probably the first hot pot in VA (that we've had so far) that I can actually taste the broth! I got the hot & spicy & it was a kicker but no complaints! I believe my husband got the chicken flavored since he's not a fan of spicy & he actually liked it. It's $32 per person for AYCE. Service was quick, especially with their little robot server that was going up and down the isle. The place itself was definitely a vibe. Nicely decorated & clean! I love how everything is through their ipads because sometimes, I feel pressured at kbbqs & hot-pots when ordering lol. I do feel like they could expand their menu a little more? their broth options are mostly spicy & my husband, who can't handle spice, had only 2 options to pick out of. Despite of it, we'll be returning!

Walk into a new way to dine... nothing typical about URBAN HOT POT!!!. Make your reservation and RUN TO URBAN HOT POT. The menu offers a super variety of proteins. Seafood chicken lamb fish. Vast variety of foods to full your belly without grease, ans oils. The sauce and toppings Our waiter was a friendly patient and helpful. The restaurant was pretty packed, but he was super courteous. A few people stopped by to see if we were good and needed anything. Cliff is a super star walking around looking like a celebrity. The restaurant decor is so welcoming, with faux greenery, caricatures of anime figures. I assume they come from various video games. Music played in the background to enhance your dining experience. This was a fun diner, like I have never experienced. Just everything burst flavorful in yoir mouth. Hands down URBAN HOT POT is on to something serious. Run and go now. Your welcome foodies.

I've been here once before with the family and actually like this place. Took the whole family this time around and we all enjoyed the ability to order what we wanted without waiting or trying to get our waiter's attention. The sauce bar is directly on your right as you walk in. The bathroom is clean and modern. Staff is prompt and friendly. Food tastes great and fresh. Will be coming back often.

Best hot pot I'm 757. also best all you can eat!! inside is clean and funcy, and stuff is very friendly. Definitely, I will be back again.

Another great place to visit @Chesapeake Virginia. This place so great! I would recommend! Love love the place. Clean, relaxing and most of all great menu hot pot selections. They even have AI robot machine who will deliver your drinks and dessert straight to your table! Cool right. My favorite is the spicy shrimp, blue crab, squid, fish ball and sliced beef. There are so much to choose from.. meat, seafood, tofu, veggies and dessert and they even have sauce bar! must try guys! Service is amazing! Worth your money!!! I hope they stay the same!

I was sorely in need of a good hotpot spot since moving to the area, and heard good things about Urban Hotpot. I finally got a chance to check it out and it outdid my expectations! There's a set price per person for AYCE hotpot goodies. There's a wide range of meat and veg options and the spicy base was super tasty. You can order as you go on the iPad at the table and there's also a little conveyor belt that runs throughout the restaurant with add-ons like tofu and fish cakes. There's a sauce bar where you can make your own dipping sauce. Service was great and the restaurant setup was very nice! Will definitely be back for more.

Urban Hot Pot is an excellent all-you-can-eat dinning experience that'll leave you full and happy that you came! All-in-all you should definitely check out Urban Hot Pot at least once, you'll definitely enjoy the experience and get your monies worth in food!

What a fun experience to try all the different items! Love the one fee and adding things as we went along. Waiter was so helpful and enjoyed the sauce bar!

My husband and I had a date night and tried this place out for the first time. I did a reservation via yelp and loved how this was an option. The place has such a nice calming atmosphere and a fun food conveyor around the tables. The server was great explaining the process and loved we can use the tablet to order additional food and ask for server. The food was fantastic and we left full and happy. Will be making another trip soon!

I have had the opportunity to try Urban Hot Pot Chesapeake twice now and have enjoyed both the service and the food each time. If you are in the mood for a Chinese based hot pot dish with a modern twist then check them out. On weekends they serve the dinner special all day, so that's when I recommend. The food or the aesthetics should not disappoint. Make sure you get the Thai Green Tea and have the robot bring it to you!

If I could give it zero stars I would, First of all, I am a cyclist. I realize it's the landlord's fault, but this business is on a bike trail. There are no bike racks anywhere so I had to lock my bike up to a tree. I wanted to order to go but when I walked in was informed there is no to-go service. I asked to see a menu so I could see if there was anything I wanted to order before sitting down. The greeter looked at me like I had two heads or wasn't good enough to have a meal there. He just repeated it was dine-in only. I explained I might have dined in if he hadn't been rude. I walked out and won't be back.

When it comes to HOT POT this is our #1 GO TO. Customer service is on point while the iPad ordering system is GENIUS! If you need anything the robot delivers it to you! Tom Yum soup has been my favorite broth, highly recommended. As for proteins, seafood is my go too. Every time we go I usually get something different but every time, it has been perfect. I look forward to every time we go here especially when we have a large appetite!

The spicy beef is spicy! Hits you in the back of the throat. This place is amazing. Some many choices to put in one pot. So many things I didn't know what they were, but everything was great. The sauce bar was even better to add even more favor to our hot pots. Definitely will be going back.
