Where to Eat and Drink in Rockville

"This all-you-can eat soup haven includes a choice of broth and ingredients; load up the bubbling vessels at each table with fresh seafood, meat, vegetables, and noodles. Orders are placed via iPad, the selected ingredients are presented to each customer at their dedicated burner, and then the stirring and slurping begins." - Rebecca Gale

Cons: (1) All different kind of raw meat was mixed on one plate. No introduction from staff of which is what and the non-separation practice shows that they have no sense of cross contamination or people’s food allergies. (2) Cooked food, the yellow-ish chicken in the photo below were served on the same plate as raw beef. Not ok at all. (3) Cold plates don’t taste good (4) no appetizer bar like some other hotpot places have Pros: (1) Meat quality is acceptable for the $45/person after tip and tax price point (2) beverage refills are generous (3) great dessert options (4) fast service

I had a pleasant time here with my family the last weekend. They had a wide range selection of meat, veggies, seafood. I tried herbal , kimchi, seafood and spicy butter malah soup base & all the soup base is tasty. A big plus here is the staff are very fast, and friendly. Big plus for the dessert & sauce station. Will def coming back soon!

21DEC.2024 First time in this spot. Me and my family had to sign in at front desk (to be texted when a table was ready)and wait in the”box” the entry of the restaurant, that was very cold, due to the door being opened and closed constantly. The was an experience that I wouldn’t want to experience again. It was simply because the lady that seated us, didn’t go over how to operate the stove. The 4 star is due to the amount of food. Freezer full of different types of ice cream which comes with your order. The service was meh. The other girl bought me my check and left. The guy closed out my check and was nice. The all-you-can-eat is $34.99 a person. It is good for people that are into that, but for the small eaters; there’s small portions that might be able to be ordered. Tips start at 18%…you can customize your tip.

Google
Lots of fun! All you can eat for very reasonable price. Who doesn’t like cooking your own noodles, veggies and meats. We paid for extra $ king crab option and was worth it.

Google
Urban Hot Pot is hands down one of the best hot pot spots around. The ingredients are always fresh and high-quality, with a great selection of meats, seafood, and veggies. I really appreciate how customizable everything is — everyone gets their own pot and broth, so it’s perfect for groups with different tastes. The sauce bar is a huge highlight. So many options to mix and match for the perfect dipping sauce! The staff are friendly, helpful, and keep everything running smoothly, even when it’s busy. Prices are fair for all-you-can-eat, and you leave completely satisfied. It’s my go-to place for a fun, interactive dinner with friends or family. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great hot pot experience!

Google
It is fine but I am not sure about revisiting. Certain food such as mushroom doesn’t seem fresh. Fishballs and meatballs are not good. The peanut sauce for dipping has been added too much water. However, sliced beef and lamb, the tomato broth are quite delicious. I really like the ice jelly despite it doesn’t look the same with the image. Service and environment are fine.

Google
We have been coming here for years, every time after we try other hot pot places, we always come back here. From the selection of foods (especially the meats), quality of service, and inviting atmosphere, this location has been keeping it up. Parking can be a bit tight, but there are meter parking on the side streets also garage parking. They did added the delivery robot recently, it’s fun to “talk” to it 😂

Google
If I could eat here every day without getting fat I would! The crawfish, spicy shrimp, and spiced cold beef dish are delicious. It can get pretty busy, so be prepared to wait for a table it's that good!

Yelp
This place is the best hot pot in the DMV! As someone who goes here every week, they are always consistent with their food, quality, service, and hospitality. My go-to is the original broth for a light and flavorful soup base. For spicy, definitely, the spicy butter mala. There's also a wide variety of toppings for your soup. (The evening wait times are a testament of how good they are). The restaurant can definitely get busy in the evenings/weekends, but always worth the wait! The sauce bar has a great variety of ingredients and house recipes. There's also a conveyer belt for seatings to grab foods conveniently next to you! Ordering is made simple on the iPad and the staff are always available to guide first-timers.

Yelp
Awesome service. Jhayson, Rafael, and Andy were outstanding with their customer service. Not to mention the food is amazing.

Yelp
This is hands-down the best Hot-pot in the DMV area! Their hotpot soup bases are very flavorful and yummy, and they have a good selection for everyone. Food is fresh and comes out quickly, and they have a belt as well for some items, though I usually don't grab anything from there. Sauce bar is good, has a lot of the things I would want, and they also have a good house sauce that you can customize and make into your own! Service has always been pretty good when I go, and the staff are responsive when you request for them on the iPads. I love the decor inside, it is bright and welcoming. They have kept it very clean and nice looking over the years and it is my favorite hot-pot place!

Yelp
My experience is always awesome. I take friends to this restaurant every 3 months. Everyone loves it. The environment is great : clean. Service is fast. Food is fresh and abundance. Sauces station is clean. I highly recommend this place. Each person can has his or her own soup base. It's healthy eating, delicious and satisfyingly awesome.

Yelp
I have been coming here since they opened and several times a year when I'm in Rockville. Urban Hot Pot is a franchised and has several locations. Broth is consistently good and their meat quality is much better than other hot pot place. Service is quick with ipad and severs are friendly. The vibe is good and place is always clean.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is great because they allow you to switch your broth option if you change your mind. Some places do not have that. In addition, they have a conveyor belt that you can grab food from so you don't have to order on iPad for the next round. They also have a great dessert menu with the coconut jelly being the best. That's if you have room for dessert after your hot pot feast.
google avatar

Sophia C.

Yelp
The variety of items you can order is great that falls under the AYCE part. The quality of the items are pretty good too, including the seafood, which is what I'm usually most wary about. Service wise, you have an ipad you use to order and everything came out pretty quickly. The conveyor belt in the middle is also pretty convenient for getting the more basic stuff (veggies, fishcakes, quail eggs, mushrooms), which also makes the service move faster. The interior is also very nice and neat. The only thing I would say is that the wait time is pretty long so you really have to prepare yourself, and the sauce bar has a bit less variety compared to other places but still very good.

Yelp
It could 100 degrees outside or super cold.. I will always choose this hot pot place. Family and friends are always ready to bond over some great food and this place is where we go. Plenty of seating available so great if you have a big party (there is a 90 minute seating limit). Regarding food.. there are soo many options starting from Soups base. There are also many Vegan options which is nice to see. Meat and seafood options are great, the spiced beef and marinated shrimp are some of my favorites options. They have lunch and dinner all you can eat prices. (Dinner is slightly more expensive) Overall, this place should be next on your list to visit. And don't forget to get some of their free ice cream on your way out
google avatar

Yelp
Our go-to spot for hotpot! They have the best offerings for an AYCE experience. It's beautiful, clean, and spacious inside, and I really like that it's just an individual pot situation at every table. The sauce bar is always filled and it's really easy to order on an as-needed basis using the tablet at the table. Also a cute little robot server that keeps you pretty amused. Food is always fresh and I love that they offer so many options for dessert - ice cream, popsicles, coconut milk with herbal jelly or sago, and fruit!

Yelp
Celebrating a birthday is always fun, especially when the birthday girl has never tried hot pot. I love introducing someone to new foodie adventures. We ordered 2 broths; the house broth and the miso broth. We both loved the flavor and depth of the miso broth. The house broth was not a favorite. I was sorry that we didn't exchange that one, for another broth. We ordered a variety of meats; we had the lamb, the pork belly, and the sirloin. They were very generous with their portions and each of the meats were delicious. We ordered a bunch of vegetables. The bok Choy, corn, mushrooms, potatoes, broccoli, and string beans, they were all fresh and tasty. We really enjoyed the udon noodles. They were very flavorful in the broth. We ordered the ramen noodles, but we were so full, that we forgot about them. The seafood was lacking in freshness and taste. The lobster balls tasted fishy and not fresh. The crab sticks were the same way. We did love their shrimp with the head on. I think they could have been a little bit more generous with your portion size. Ambiance was lovely. It gives you a modern industrial feel with lots of tables and overhead lighting. I am sorry that we couldn't get a table by the conveyer belt. I think that adds a layer of extra fun to the dinner party. The service lacked a lot in my opinion. It took awhile to get someone's attention, if you needed something. The one novelty was the talking robot. He was entertaining and fun. He brought us our drinks and refill on the shrimp. All in all, it was a lot of fun. But, for the price, they need to work on higher quality seafood and better service. That is why I rated them a 4.

Yelp
Great AYCE hot pot place. Lots of ingredients, tasty broth, and reasonable prices. It was fun to see some ingredients rolling around on the conveyor belt, although you'd need to walk over to the ingredients area to get more variety. Service was good, and place was not busy at all on a Sunday morning.
google avatar

Yelp
Food is great--love the variety, selection, and all you can eat. Service though can be very forgetful. I ordered Japanese ramen and asked about it twice when I didn't get it, and by the third time I asked for it, they said they had ran out for the night. That left me a little miffed.
google avatar

Jenny Mae S.

Yelp
Yummy!! Love that it's individual style hot pot and everything for the most part is thru direct order on the table touch pads. Any service that required a person was prompt and helpful. I do wish they had a pork broth option without spice (thinking of my parents here) but I thoroughly enjoyed having the numbing spice just right for my own bowl.
google avatar

Dominick M.

Yelp
The food is really good. I went there with my family and we enjoyed it. The wait can be sometimes long in the evenings, on the weekends but other than that everything is great.

Yelp
This is my favorite AYCE hot pot spot out of all the hot pot restaurants in the Rockville/Gaithersburg area! I love that we can order everything on the iPad and the food comes out very quickly, with drinks being delivered on a cute robot. Aside from food, you can also use the iPad to request for help, the check, or refills on your soup or water. The service has always been speedy and the ambiance clean and modern. There is also a conveyor belt next to the tables in the middle, so if you wanted to pick up some extra vegetables or tofu then you can conveniently grab it from the side anytime. Meat and seafood, however, have to be ordered through the iPad. My favorite items are the beef brisket, fish filet, quail eggs, and shrimp (which is already peeled for you!) but all the items we've ordered have been delicious and fresh. On my mom's actual birthday, she was able to have her meal free as long as I came with her as a paying customer. But they keep changing their rules on the free birthday meal so I recommend calling to confirm the policy before you arrive. They also used to have a reservation system on Yelp but it looks like it's been removed.

Yelp
LOVE the vibes, the servicing robots, staffs, and the conveyor belt of food! There were so many broth options I picked Mala because they didn't have tonkatsu broth, a wide varieties of vegetables, meats, seafood, tufo, etc., deinks; and many ice cream options. Everything were delicious!

Maria H.

Yelp
Fun and good food! perfect for families and friends. We really enjoy the atmosphere and variety of ingredients. All the soups are delicious and the service is great! Staff is really nice.

Yelp
I truly think Urban Hot Pot is my favorite place for hot pot. Pretty much an AYCE place, focusing on using soup as a way to cook your meats & vegetables. It's very chaotic and I think going as a group is the best experience. You have a tablet at the table and you can pick which broth you want, which meat/vegetables/starch/seafood and many more to your hearts content. The reason why I think this system works so well is you just get so overwhelmed by the amount of options that it gives you so much more of a good reason to come back. I really think they give you great value for the price you pay. Since I went there with a large party we were definitely there for at least two hours. I know that the time limit is around 90 minutes but I think it wasn't packed as much on a Friday night. It was nice that the staff was able to accommodate 12 people into one table; you have to call them in advance. The yelp site only allows up to six people and a time to reserve. This place does get packed and you do wait a bit before you can start your hot pot adventure. There's the sauce bar which contains numerous sauces and toppings for you to create your own dipping sauce.. Soy Sauce, Hoisin Sauce, Sesame Oil, Peppers, Chopped Coriander, Salt, Pepper, Peanut Sauce.... the list goes on and on. There's a small recipe block that gives people some recommendations; there's no judgment here so go crazy honestly! What's also interesting is three things. One, there's also soft serve ice cream right next to the sauce bar which is great if you even have room for dessert after eating everything hot pot has to offer. I definitely took advantage and also ate a lot of vanilla ice cream that night. Second, there's a cute robot that also brings you your food on plates; I think this also helps add to the speed and delivery of orders as so many people are ordering all at the same time. Third, there's a conveyor belt for the tables in the middle. I think that's cool as a way to entice others to try out new items but most people would have already ordered what they wanted/got the same thing that is on the conveyor belt. There are is one thing I think people should really know before coming here. Parking isn't the best and if you're impatient like me, there is a parking garage in the back of the building. It's paid parking where the first two hours are free but they start charging on the third hour. Not very ideal but I guess you could try to loop around the whole building for a space. Would I recommend Urban Hot Pot? 100% absolutely. I think Hot Pot in Rockville is some of the best that the DMV overall has to offer; I'd gladly go through I-95 Traffic for some delicious AYCE Hot Pot.

Yelp
We had lunch here yesterday and it was amazing! They didn't do a good job explaining when we sat down but we figured it out. You order everything through the tablet on the table. You choose your hot pot base - I had chicken, Very tasty! Then order all the fixings - noodles, veggies and meats. You can also order cold sides - traditional seaweed salad was delicious! I also loved the cucumber salad. I would skip the beef next time. Service was efficient. We tried all of the noodles and the udon was my favorite! I loved the pork wontons! At the front of the restaurant is the sauce bar with so many different sauces - my favorite was the meat sauce! The robot who delivers some of the soup ingredients and drinks was a highlight!! Sadly the robot was the only picture I took! Loved it! Would like to try dinner as there are more options to try!
google avatar

Rebecca H.

Yelp
This was a pretty good hot pot restaurant. I liked that there were various soup bases you can choose from and then you can get unlimited food for your hot pot, which you can order through a tablet at your table. There was a good variety of meat and vegetarian options. Everything tasted good. The soft serve ice cream for dessert was good too.

Stephanie H.

Yelp
The miso broth was amazing and the fresh veggies and meat were perfect! Our server was also great and very quick to respond when requested.
google avatar

Carlton M.

Yelp
Was a very good establishment. The facilities were very clean. The food was great. The service was great. I will definitely make this one of my regular spots. Def come here hungry. You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Sarah G.

Yelp
Great hot pot place off Rockville Pike and walking distance from Twinbrook station. Service is quick and there is a good variety of meats, veggies and sweet treats at the end
google avatar

Starr D.

Yelp
Update: they added the delivery robot & shabu chicken, service continue to maintain high quality
google avatar

Carrie G.

Yelp
This is my new favorite restaurant. It's not new to the area or anything like that but it's taken me a while to actually go and try it. I'm kicking myself in the butt for that! If you're a soup person like myself, you gotta check it out. Everything was good. It's 39.99 for all you can eat but 90 minute time restraint. It's fine because you can get full pretty quick and feel satisfied. The inside is modern, cute but a little small. Not a lot of seating so wait times can be long. They do accept reservations for parties of 4 or more so that's a good thing. I was loving it so much that I barely took any pictures. Definitely recommend!

Rebecca P.

Yelp
Every time you ask for a reservation, they say they don't take reservations. But then when you go and there are three open tables but they are "reserved" so we have to wait for 30-45 minutes. Be consistent. Be honest.
google avatar

Tiyenne G.

Yelp
Highly recommend making a reservation. Dinner menu has a full selection of items for your hot pot. Service is quick and accurate. And the vibe was perfect. Will absolutely go back
google avatar

Tim H.

Yelp
Food - Thoughtful portions, many varieties to choose from, clean and fresh, and the soup base wasn't so salty. The conveyer belt constantly serving up fresh vegetables and dishes that I can't name with certainty (it's a good thing). Too-notch service; waitresses are energetic and friendly. Also patrons seem to be on the younger side. Great for a relaxing yet fun dinning experience. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Jillian M.

Yelp
Great value for the food and options! Very easy to order from the iPad or from your server. Vibe was upbeat and friendly. The food was also very tasty and fairly easy to park. Would definitely come back here if I'm craving hot pot in the area
google avatar

Sung Hee K.

Yelp
Food is consistently fresh. Service is fast and polite. The place is always squeaky clean and not oily like some hot pot places. Seasonings bar is kept neat. Lighting is bright so you can see the food. Best hot pot place in this area for sure.

Andersson M.

Yelp
I'm constantly look for places to eat in Rockville and I can honestly say that this was one of my favorite places I have stopped to dine in. This was an incredibly fun experience! The abundance of food, amazing service (so quick) , and overall vibe was just wow. The price is worth it for everything you're getting and I'll definitely be coming back.

Dra T.

Yelp
Their quality of the seafood, meats and vegetables offerings are always good. The broths have more flavors than the the other restaurants that I have tried. There are some newer restaurants that open on Rockville Pike, not too far from Urban Hotpot, and i like their offerings. However, if I have a craving for hotpot, I will still go to Urban Hotpot. The one thing I miss is the sevice; the new wait staff members are not as attentive as the ones they used to have.
google avatar

Angelica D.

Yelp
I come here often, because it's conveniently located off of Rockville Pike and I think Urban has the best quality of food for shabu in moco! The inside is airy, clean, and spacious. One of the first things you'll notice is a conveyor belt running with items moving along. The waiting area is quite small and the way can be pretty extensive at times. I'd recommend getting there a little earlier than you'd like and putting your name down, then grabbing a drink at the nearby establishments. I wish they'd bring back the online wait list, but whatever works for them. Back to the food! We always come for dinner, as there are more premium options like better meat cuts and seafood! It's worth the price. Everything is ordered on ipad but you can sometimes catch the staff if you need something quickly. The broths are consistent and I like the individual pots. There is a sauce station and you know it's going to be good shabu when they have sacha sauce! The only mixture you need to know - sacha sauce, garlic, green onion, and a little vinegar. I will say the sauce station isn't always the cleanest and some ingredients are out for a while. Definitely hit or miss when you go. They have desserts you can order and the sago is my favorite! This is my go-to comfort place in the area especially on a rainy or cold day.
google avatar

Abi Z.

Yelp
Always a pleasant experience with food and service here. Love the individual pots which make it perfect for bringing friends along. Even when it's bustling, they are pretty on top of bringing out what you've ordered. The meats and veggies seem almost always fresh, of course there inconsistencies with different batches of food they receive. Given the amount of food and the other hot pot places nearby, price is reasonable. Modern little place that always leaves you so full you can't walk!
google avatar

Mimi W.

Yelp
Clean and vibrant ambiance, casual dining experience. There's some parking upfront, but also a garage around the back that's free. It gets busy and crowded with long waits. I've only been here once for lunch and if you're not familiar with hot pot, it can get overwhelming. My coworker in particular was not a fan of the cook it yourself style meal and boiling everything, so do some homework and watch some reels on hot pot if you've never been! Otherwise, the food was fresh and soup base was good, you order on the iPad and they'll bring it out relatively quickly. There's also a conveyor belt for some side items like veggies and a sauce station. It was good, but honestly for AYCE at that price, I would opt for the other hotpot places nearby with some bbq/grill too. Probably a 3.5, but I'll round down due to price.

J T.

Yelp
Great service. Fresh ingredients. Kids friendly. Ambiance is not overly loud. Only wish they could have a separate price menu for people who are on a vegan/vegetarian diet (or offer a discount), but overall staff are very accommodating.
google avatar

Ketsanee P.

Yelp
Food : 4.5/5 (Meat, veggie, soup were good quality even though nothing fancy (only serve hot pot - no BBQ) - not many choices of appetizer/snack or dessert Service : 5/5 (Friendly/ serve fast) Accommodation : 3.5/5 (very limit parking, when I was there, there were packed of customers, unfortunately, I sat near the entrance/exit doors and cold air came in all the time when people opened) Price : 4/5 (Around $25 per person/lunch with 90 minutes seatings limit) Value : 4/5 (Yes, I will return, recommend - go and try) Overall : I think it might be the one of good HOTPOT restaurant for All You Can Eat where I have tried so far - inside not too small - interior was nice and clean. Easy and convenient to check menu and order from iPad on the table anytime. There are also something interesting if you are curious to see there 1. there are robot servers and 2. food conveyor belt (only some area)

Jared B.

Yelp
Amazing food and service. The spicy butter broth for dinner is incredible! And so are the dessert options.
google avatar

Megan W.

Yelp
I've been to several AYCE hot pot restaurants, but never one that you can order via a tablet at your table. I actually loved this system -- it was nice to see/order every menu item, instead of waiting for it to roll around a conveyor belt. Some items are also brought by their little robot. They also have large tables to accommodate for bigger parties, but you'll have to pass a lot of items down the table. I was also pleasantly surprised to see their dessert menu; they had fresh fruit, coconut sago, herbal jelly, etc. They also had a variety of non-hot pot items like spicy crawfish. We quickly ran out of table space when we ordered! Urban is also close to the metro system, which makes it accessible to visitors in DC that are craving hot pot. It was about a 3 - 5 minute walk from the spot.
google avatar

Priscilla Y.

Yelp
Urban Hot Pot is my go-to spot for hot pot when I'm too lazy to do it at home. It's all-you-can-eat. If you've never had hot pot, think fondue with broth. You cook the food yourself. Each person gets their own individual pot. You order everything on the ipad device on your table. First, you choose your own broth (tomato, tom yum, chicken, miso, hot and spicy, etc) and then choose your veggies, meats, etc. The food comes out pretty fast so you don't need to order everything all at once. You can keep ordering as you need to. They have so many items to choose from! They have sliced meats (beef, chicken, lamb), marinated beef, shrimp, crabs, fish and shrimp balls, tendon, tofu, squid, noodles, and all sorts of vegetables. After eating, I love to drink the broth. They also have a sauce bar for you to customize you own dipping sauce. I've always had a satisfying and fun experience at Urban Hot Pot. The service is great and attentive. They have a robot who brings your drinks to you. The restaurant gets really busy after 5pm so it's best to make a reservation. Each table gets a 90 minute time limit. It's about $35/person for dinner. There's metered street parking and garage parking.
google avatar

AC M.

Yelp
The experience is fun, but the items available to select just did not pick up the flavors of the broth. Very bland food, cheep kids treat-ice cream, and a long wait on the weekends.... Glad I tried it, but I will not be going back.
google avatar

Julie W.

Yelp
The hot pot was good and had a large variety of options from broths, meats, vegetables, noodles, seafood and even deserts. The meat wasn't great quality and had knots in it but the variety was great and it was a good meal. Around $40 a person for the dinner menu.
google avatar

Olivia R.

Yelp
So so good! Everything was fresh and tasty. The restaurant was also super clean and modern. Loved the easy iPad ordering and the robot delivering water was especially fun. I noted that the cooktops on the table were induction, so no fear of getting burned. My only frustration was when i tried to make reservations online through the website...it kept bringing me back to Yelp and there's no reservation option through Yelp! When I finally called to make the reservation over the phone, I was told they disabled the Yelp reservation option because people were getting confused about their reservation policy and they wanted people to call so they could explain it in person. Ok, that's fine, but now I'd say we're getting confused because the website still has an active reservations link that directs us to Yelp! Please update your website!

Yelp
This is the first i have been to this hotpot. I am a hot pot enthusiast! I love anything that will have soup and meat in it. Interior: Pretty nice interiors. It's a lot of booths and on the center area there is a conveyor belt of ingredients. We weren't seated there but it's okay. Service: Good service, meats and other ingredients came on time. Soup as well. The best server was the first guy who greeted us he said he was new but he was very good at explaining to us what we need to do to the ipad ordering system. He was very pleasant with us and always smiling. We appreciate that. Food: Amazing soup, i got the spicy soup but not too spicy! It was delicious. The meats were tender and flavorful. The chili oil chicken was bomb, The buttered shrimp was very delightful. Kimchi and cucumber appetizers were great as well. Dessert: We had coconut sago and ice cream for dessert! Very good it cleansed our palates after all the meat we have been eating. Overall the experience was great. It did get a little crowded at around 6:30 pm which was crazy. They are indeed popular.

Yelp
Excellent shabu shabu - variety of vegetables, meat, poultry and seafood options. Great atmosphere.

Yelp
Urban Hot Pot is an excellent all-you-can-eat dinning experience that'll leave you full and happy that you came! There are a TON of vegetables, proteins, and other items to choose from to customize your hotpot. Everything is ordered via an iPad at your table (unless you're sitting next to the conveyor belt in which case you can grab stuff passing by) and waiters will bring it to you. There are a ton of sauces to choose from at the sauce bar to go along with your meal. There are also instructions to show you good combinations of sauces to mix together. This location doesn't have a ton of seating, so make sure you call in advance and make a reservation. Also, try to get a seat next to the food conveyor belt to get the full experience. All-in-all you should definitely check out Urban Hot Pot at least once, you'll definitely enjoy the experience and get your monies worth in food!

Yelp
My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Urban Hot Pot the past two Christmases and had a wonderful time. The service is prompt and the food incredibly fresh. There's a vast selection to choose from for both carnivores and vegetarians. Just use caution when ordering as your eyes may be bigger than your stomach. We will be back!

Yelp
Came in on a Wednesday night with friends. Made a reservation at 7, which made it really easy to get seated. The hostess explained the whole process on how to order and how everything works, which was extremely helpful, especially if it's your first time there. The restaurant was really clean and spacious. The decorations were minimal, which was great to just focus on the food and conversation. Everything was also organized for us to grab things on our own as well. One fun new experience that I've seen there that night was the robot waiter bringing out water, desserts, and smaller dishes. The servers brought the bigger plates, which included the broths, meats, and vegetables. The conveyor belt rotated with different options as well. Food is always great. The broths are always flavorful and spiced well (I got the Kimchi Pork Broth). I appreciate how we can make our own sauces as well. The meats always come in great quantities and of course good quality as well. I enjoy the fact that we can cook our own food too so that we can cook it to our own liking. The desserts are okay, but honestly it's a good transition especially if you're just overloaded with savory things. I enjoy the little soft-serve at the end to finish the meal. Tip: It's almost always busy for dinner, so if you have a party of 4 or more definitely make a reservation ahead of time.
