Urban Oasis Bed and Breakfast

A lovely stay at Urban Oasis! The atmosphere is a peaceful retreat with plenty of space to lounge in the shared living room or in the outdoor spaces (including a pool nestled in between banana trees). The location can’t be beat - right next to the Beltline and walkable to anything in Inman Park, Old Fourth Ward, Cabbagetown and Edgewood. Even Ponce City Market and Piedmont Park are just a 25 and 40 minute walk (or shorter scooter/bike ride) along the beltline. Judi & Duane are wonderful hosts and I’d happily return next time I’m in Atlanta.

Stayed here while performing in the Street Fringe Atlanta Fringe Festival. Duane and Judi are wonderful! It's a beautiful property, delicious breakfast each morning, comfy bed and nice hot shower!! I never got in the pool due to busy schedule but sat outside on the patio a bit and it was so relaxing. So glad to have found a unique space that was so restful during a hectic performance weekend. And the walk between here and Little5Points is so beautiful! I really enjoyed staying here.

Absolutely incredible find in a great part of Atlanta! As a solo traveler I felt safe and right at home. There are tons of shops and places to eat within walking distance. Very comfortable room and kind hosts. The cherry on top was the two dogs that were so sweet.

Very nice rooms. Judi and Duane are wonderful hosts. Loved the eclectic nature of the Urban Oasis. And especially loved Charlie and Ollie, their lovable sheepadoodles. Great area to stay in central Atlanta and very convenient to the Carter Library and its beautiful grounds.

What a beautiful home run by two lovely people! The oasis name really sums it up. Despite the popular Krog location, with the surrounding greenery, one side of the home being cupped by a hill, and the private fence, the stay was remarkably quiet and serene. I loved looking into the verdant garden from the beautiful big windows. We stayed here for a concert at the Variety Playhouse and were amazed by how easy it was to get back afterward. Since it was late at night and the way back went through neighborhoods, there was almost no traffic. I had some work to do on Saturday and enjoyed being serenaded by the gentle tweets of the parakeets and the occasional chatter from the parrot, Echo. If you don't like birds or dogs, this is not the stay for you, but we love both so we enjoyed the animal company! We also liked the simple continental breakfast. Hard-boiled eggs, fruit, toast, and good coffee makes the perfect breakfast in my opinion. Staying here really felt like having a home in the city to return to. We stayed in a downstairs bedroom. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The bathroom we used had a big shower and the sink, while small, had just enough room for my makeup supplies. I wasn't sure what they would have there, so just a note (because other reviews didn't mention this), simple soap and shampoo were provided. We had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here if you like animals and want a relaxing experience, especially if you want to explore the local area! It's a lovely home and the hosts have made it a very comfortable place to stay.

This bed and breakfast embodies everything we love about Atlanta - open, friendly, generous hospitality, clean environment, eclectic style, comfy urban vibe. Dwayne and Judy are fascinating, intelligent, and warm hosts - conversations with both of them were the highlight of our trip! Their dogs Charlie and Ollie are perfection too. The location is perfect for enjoying the belt line, good restaurants, good coffee places, shopping, etc...We will definitely stay here again.

What a great experience! Judi and Duane were warm and welcoming, the room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the location right off the beltline truly can’t be beat. I would highly recommend the Urban Oasis if you’re looking for a spot off the beaten path.

Had a great stay at this lovely and comfortable B&B. Friendly and interesting owners (including the dogs and birds) in a nice location in Atlanta. Very walkable to many restaurants. Would love to come back and stay again!

I came to Atlanta for business and decided to find a different place than a chain hotel to stay at. I found this wonderful bed and breakfast conveniently located across the street from the new Krog St Market, a few miles from main highways, and minutes from great restaurants and the MLK memorial. It looks just the pictures. The owners have done such an amazing job in creating a fun and creative atmosphere that anyone will love. They have 3 Bassett hounds that are so well behaved and lovable (I'm definitely a dog lover!). Everything was so clean and the linen in Amanda's room was just as describe - elegant and comfortable. The owners are wonderful people! They leave a spread our for breakfast and are available anytime you need anything. They garden is beautiful but hopefully my next visit will be filled with sunshine. I recommend staying here if you're in town for personal or business reasons. You will not be disappointed! Thank-you for such a wonderful experience!!

This is the place to stay when visiting Atlanta! It was my first visit to this booming city and I was so glad to be immediately located in an exciting neighborhood close to everything! The ATL Belt Line and Krog Street Market were just a few steps away. Our host Judy was exceptional and provided true southern hospitality in an environment that will take your breath away! Her attention to details were incredible. We felt beyond thankful to have been able to speak with her about what Atlanta had to offer. This was a unforgettable trip for my friend and I. Thank you!

Such a cute bed and breakfast that has its own edge!! This B&B is right next to Krog Street Market, which is how I found it in the first place by searching - walking distance. I have never stayed there but I needed somewhere to store my luggage. After I gave the business a call, Judi was extremely friendly with southern hospitality and immediately welcomed me into her home! I didn't get to take a pic but the living room area/lobby area was spacious and looked like an awesome place to hold an event!

First of all let me say upfront that I have not spent a night here. I have however been to more than one event there and am compelled to review. The place is not what I expected before arriving, it's far better that that. It's got a very large room which about 50 of us circulated and schmoozed without trouble. The patio and courtyard is extremely funky and pleasant and I assume the resident basset hounds are always gentile. Tucked away with absolutely nothing on 3 sides and a gated entry on the 4th you won't believe you're in the middle of town. This would be a great place to stow your visiting celebs as nobody would ever find them and you'd get huge points for being soo cool. It's not really Hilton on crack, but it is colorful fun and funky. The owners live here and would likely provide for any type of gathering, function, or event, without actually sleeping over. Party on Wayne!

My mom and her friends stayed here last weekend, the location is super convenient, the vibe is modern and laid back, and the people who run this B&B are warm and professional. (Mom stayed at some other B&B in Inman Park last year, which was run by a slacker with 7 cats.) I'm telling everyone who comes to visit about Urban Oasis, this place is the best.
