We are regulars here, love the food and staff. Last visit was exceptional. We rolled in for a trivia night that we didn’t know we needed to call ahead for. Staff went above and beyond to find us a space to sit and be included. Our food was wonderful as usual and came out quickly despite being packed. This place continues to shine. Well done to all the staff.

First time and wont be my last. There are many I want to try my only "complaint" was the excessive carbon build up on bottom of pizza. I got the tia chicken pizza and loved it. Plan to return and try the crab ragoon pizza and the mashed potatoes pizza.

My husband and I have gone here multiple times, and we still talk about wanting to go back! We’ve done dine-in and pick up, and both were done very quickly. Food has been great every time. Love that they have such an interesting menu that includes everything from crab Rangoon, to jalapeño popper, to Midwest sushi, and so many more.

Constantly craving the Thai Chicken pizza. They have so many options- my boyfriend and I always pick one pizza we’ve had before, then we choose three new ones and decide on one to try for the first time. We absolutely devour both pizzas every single time. Urban Pie has become a Friday tradition for us, followed by a visit to Tea Cellar across the street. I love this place so much!

Cheesy garlic bread, crab Rangoon pizza, goat cheese pizza, street taco pizza, and kbbq pizza! Their unique menu sets them apart from other pizza spots, and is worth a try :)

This was our first time at the Cedar Falls location. Great food, great service from Prince our server, good beer, great atmosphere, and clean. We drove an hour from Cedar Rapids and will definitely be back. Thanks for making our date night a good one 🫶

Our server Allison made the experience and can’t say enough what an amazing experience. We came down from Prior Lake MN just to get donuts and pizza. We love this place and the food is a 10/10. I want to say again how amazing our service was with Alison. Bravo We are stopping back again tonight to get more pizza on our way back home after our comedy club experience. I can’t wait to try even more of these pizzas. I loved the clean theme inside and was very modern and comfortable. See you again soon !

Stopped in for dinner with my bestie! Place was packed for a summer trivia night. They do have a new menu so we decided to try something new. They do not make a large gluten free crust anymore which I am sad about. But I still enjoy their pizza and the fact I can take the crust home if I want to make my own. Both the reuban and midwest sushi were the perfect amount of salty and savory! I think we have found a new go to pizza for when we order from Urban Pie now.

Came for lunch on NYE. Couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. Our server was friendly, attentive, and well educated on the menu. The restaurant was clean and orderly. We got garlic twisters as an appetizer and they were delicious. Pillowy soft with a tangy marinara sauce. I ordered the crab Rangoon pizza as my entree. I've dreamt about it everyday since. So flavorful. Their entire menu is comprised of unique pizzas with an accommodation of building your own if you prefer. They are 10" which is the perfect personal size pizza IMO. Give this place a try!

Great patio. Good selection of beers and ciders on tap. "Bottomless" brunch special (pizza or salad and brunch like cocktails) for $30. We went with just some cider and beer and pies. Sampled thier version of a Supreme, the Fig 'n Pig, and the Buffalo chicken. My faves were the latter two. Dog friendly patio. Check in for 25% off!!

We were a group of 12 celebrating a birthday. Our server's name was Prince, and he was just that. He buzzed about the restaurant serving his many tables and we found him to be very kind and very attentive to our needs in a speedy fashion. The food was absolutely amazing with such unique combinations! I'm looking forward to going back soon! Hopefully seated in Prince's section.

Mmm mm mmm. One of my favorite spots in Cedar Falls as a new frequent flyer. Although it's a tad expensive, the personal pizzas with a variety of unique toppings make it all worth it. Food comes out quick, there are multiple crusts to choose from, and our waiter was great (although I don't remember his name...) Overall, 10/10 visit. You can't go wrong here.

Great place with great pizza and beer selections. Service has always been great too. Order their combo but replace the green peppers with jalapenos!

The pizza is great and the service is also. They have a wide variety of food and the beers were cold.

The hot honey wings had and excellent spice to them. We had the Street Taco and the Buffalo chicken pizza and both were really good! They had a nice atmosphere and attentive wait staff. We will return.

I have been here a couple of times now as well as getting delivery. The establishment itself is amazing! It's very spacious and there is all types of places to sit. They have a great patio area and there is multi level seating inside. It's also very clean which is nice! Service is good as well. Everyone is very friendly. Their pizza is amazing! I love the consistency of the crust. It's like a mixture of thin and thick crust. And there is just the right amount of toppings on it. I also got their cheesy bread the last time I went and it was so good! I will say that their marinara sauce has a very vodka-y taste to it but I like it so I won't complain! They also have high quality wings with good tasting sauce. Highly recommend getting pizza here!

Great service and wings. I got the 6 wings for 6 dollars because of a coupon and they tasted great. Highly recommend the barbecue flavor. Ordered for pick up and was ready right away.

Do I dare change my review?? Drop a star?? This is my first time I actually felt rushed out! My bartender was Ian- I ordered a beer first, for $6.50. Then a couple pizza to go. He didn't bother to offer me another beer- or even go back to behind the bar- just a receipt and boxes to go...hmm...guess I will go across to Second State Brewery and have a slice of my pie and get a 2nd beer...no worries.

Great variety of pizza choices. Waitress was friendly and observing. Parking can be not real convenient depending on day/time. I don't recommend getting a mixed drink however. Not very good actually the worst margarita I've ever had. Environment is clean and spacious.

The owners obvious have no idea what they are doing at this point. With the closure of the Marion store, the inconsistencies of the original store, and the lack of a quality product... this place is doomed to fail. Owners: maybe spend less time on the golf course, and more time in your stores helping your employees and revamping your menu. Nothing is ever consistent.

The pizza is great! Our family shared garlic twists and then three pizzas - bacon cheeseburger, street taco, and chicken bacon ranch. There are a lot of unique pizzas offered on their standard menu or you can have a custom pizza made with whatever you want. They a large selection of drinks. Service was very good. It's a fun atmosphere. The downtown area of Cedar Falls has limited parking as others have mentioned, but we expected that and had no trouble finding a spot within an easy walking distance.

We brought a group of 9 loud people in last night. I wish I knew our server's name because she was wonderful. She was very attentive to our needs and joked around with us. Young girl with long dark hair. I love this pizza Neapolitan style. Perfectly cooked and reasonably priced. Thursday night at 7pm is Trivia night. My only con is the booths are in poor shape. Tape held together some of the rips and the tape was sticking to my leg! But hey! Not a biggie! Thanks to our server And Urban Pie for a nice time last night.

Stopped in for a snack. A stale smell like an old uncleaned bar hits you right away. I didn't care for the pizza. The sauce tastes like it has alcohol in it and was thin. The sausage wasn't great-had large caraway seeds in it. Ate a piece and took the rest home to languish in the fridge. They could easily do better.

I love the atmosphere, but I've had better pizza. Their different variety of pizza is what makes them special. I will go back, but will try something different. The taco pizza had so many onions, it was all I could taste.

Stopped in for an early lunch, great service right away! Had the garlic parmesan smoked wings which were amazing! I had the crab Rangoon pizza and my better half had the chicken bacon ranch, really can't say which was better, both were outstanding. Can't wait to go back!

Allison was the best to help organize our rehearsal supper! The service and food was amazing!

Made a trip to Cedar Falls and wanted to try this new place I've been hearing folks talking about. That place is Urban Pie. It's located in a new part of Downtown behind the main business distrct on State Street, adjacent to Second Street Brewing and down the block from SingleSpeed Brewing, two of the Cedar Valley's most prominent microbreweries. The location is nearly perfect and is easy to get to. Plenty of free street parking is available right outside of the restaurant. Urban Pie has great decor. They decided to go with that industrial look and they nailed it. There is a lot of room to move around in this restaurant. They have a dining area which is near the woodfire oven and counter and a few steps up you'll find a very cool full-service bar. The decor should be pleasing to most anyone from college students up to the gen-x crowd and beyond. This is also a great place to bring your family. The menu is easy to read and understand, it's pretty straightforward. They have a side featuring their signature/specialty pizzas and a second side for their salad and app menu. The pizza comes in personal sized 10" pies and there are a whole lot of choices. Some of the popular include the Meat Mountain, the classic Margherita and the Cheddar Wurst (see menu photo for details). They all looked good so selecting one pie was going to be a struggle. I settled on the Big D's Buffalo Chicken. It was fantastic. The crust was bubbly, chewy and had a crisp edge, just the way a stone-fired pizza should be. The base was a buffalo sauce and the pizza was topped with chicken, blue cheese, a 3-cheese blend and a swirl of ranch dressing on the top. I ate it all up and there were no seconds - it's that good! My Mom was with me today and loves their Margherita. It's quite simple - marinara, fresh mozzerella, fresh basil and topped with balsamic vinegar, which gives it a sweet taste and sets it apart from other Margherita pizzas out there. You can't go wrong - so many great pies to choose from here. Our service was great. The waiter was friendly and did a nice job of telling us about the pies and specials. He was curteous and polite which is the way service needs to be. Great job with that today, Jon! I enjoyed my visit to Urban Pie. They make great personal pizzas and have a great atmosphere. This was my first visit but will definitely not be my last. I will come back here again and am heppy to recommend Urban Pie to everyone!

Walked in. Seated self. Greeted immediately. Beers delivered. Pizza ordered. Plates brought. Pizza arrived. Pizza devoured. I'm so full of delicious pizza. I had the Greek Goddess and my husband had the Goat Herder. The Greek had olives and basil and balsamic reduction. The Goat had goat cheese (of course) and a spicy sauce. Mmmmmm my tastebuds we're singing. My only misgiving is that the beer was pricey ($6 per draft). Otherwise, I would recommend!

First off, the food was amazing. The produce tasted fresh, and the crust was light and airy. The service was also very good, the workers were nice and respectful. The atmosphere was also very cool, and the restaurant had a nice layout and setup. I would recommend this place.

Ate here for the first time on Sunday morning. Had the smoked buffalo wings for $8.99. Great smoky flavor and not greasy at all. World class wonderful but pricey - you only get six wings. But they were really terrific. Best I have had in many years. Also had the $5.99 breakfast Sunrise pizza. Great crust and very fresh toppings. Tasted great with a $5.00 Bloody Mary. Would have given this place five stars if you got 8 wings instead of six. The smaller portion of six seemed a bit out of whack for price/value relationship in NE Iowa.

It pains me to write this. Because this has been favorite place for us, love the atmosphere, and beer selections. Recently: meh and hit or miss with quality. But today (again) the pizza was just.... Not good: middle was undercooked and almost soggy. Very thin on toppings. It was too spicy for me (it was not supposed to be spicy!). I brought it home to my daughter who loves spicy. She said it was too spicy, not enough topping, pizza went in trash). I don't know it it's in inconsistent or bad luck. We might try again, only bc of patio and bar. Please urban pie: cook carefully! We want to love you again.

Lovely little hipster pizza place to come to the Cedar Valley area. Definitely reminds me of some of the fancy "hipster casual" restaurants I've been to in larger cities with the industrial atmosphere and unique operation. They definitely still seem to be working out a few kinks in the service department (they're still new!), and the pizza is of a moderate portion for the price, so we'll definitely be back - just not when we're very hungry. THINGS TO KNOW: -This place does take out and sit-down. I'm hoping to see them on the CV Food Runner delivery service soon. -They have some private, 2-hour free parking right in front of the restaurant. There's quite a bit of free parking in the downtown area around Cedar Falls, too. It just might require a bit more walking. -This place services hard liquor, beer, cocktails, pre-designed pizzas, design-your-own pizzas, wings, and salads. They serve Pepsi products from a fountain in to-go cups. All of their pizzas are 10" personal sized pizzas. -Urban Pie is going to be a bit different of an experience compared to other restaurants in the area. You walk in the door and pick up a tiny clipboard. This clipboard allows you to fill out your requested order to insure more accuracy. You pick your own table out and sit down with your clipboards and wait for a server to acknowledge you. Then you'll have a number placed on your table, drinks brought to your table, and the food will be cooked until it's done. Then you'll get your food. PROS: -Pizza was, quite literally, downright amazing. We all did a "build your own" pizza combo, and they all turned out amazing. Thin crust without being super crunchy, all very fresh ingredients, perfectly portioned-out topping amounts, and the sauce was all delicious. Absolutely nobody had any complaints about the pizza itself. -Atmosphere of the restaurant is really cute. Has an industrial-design to it with the metal chairs and brick walls to match. Bathrooms are very clean. Restaurant isn't too spacious and they're packed with tables (that are definitely all full right now because they're so new). CONS: -Service is definitely hit-or-miss right now. We waited 20 minutes to be acknowledged. We were about ready to walk-out when a waitress greeted us. Once we had our "waitress", though, we ended up with decent service. Drinks were refilled in the time we were there, but I think you're supposed to get up and refill your own? We weren't informed. -The portion sizes seem small. We didn't go when we were particularly ravenous, and everyone in our party wanted more food after we were done here. I'm sure the pizza is actually of a *standard* portion size, but at nearly $10, that same cost can get a whole lot more food elsewhere. I'd love to see some cheaper appetizer add-ons or something to help make it a nice, rounded out meal here. Maybe bread or salad options - those are usually cheap and healthy ways to add size to meals. -The metal table chairs seem particularly uncomfortable. They are definitely not designed for long-term seating.

Are lotta great things about this restaurant had to come check it out for myself. They did not disappoint. Restaurant is clean and modern and servers are well trained, fast, attentive, and friendly. They have a lot of great items on the menu but I would start with their pizza and salads before going on to the other great items.

I enjoy the food and beverages here. And I'm looking forward to spending time on their beautiful patio this summer!

Went on a Monday night where they have some daily specials like $6 Mac n cheese pizza and $3 Zima. We sat in the upstairs section near the bar. The bartender was friendly, however he seemed to have quite a large section with the bar, outdoor patio, and the tables in front of the bar, and having to make the drinks as well. If they split up the sections better I think service would have been much better. But anyway, ordered the Mac n cheese and the veggie one. Overall the taste was pretty solid on the Mac n cheese. Was expecting some Kraft but got something else much better. It also came with bacon on it. Overall spent about 45 minutes there and when we got the pizzas we just asked to pay out and receive boxes. One curious note was the server/food runner initially ran our pizzas to the wrong table but eventually we got them. Would come back, but hopefully sit somewhere else. Bonus:Outlets and games a plenty

I ordered online for 5 large pizzas which came with a longer expected wait time. We came to pickup and the restaurant was super busy. It's seems on Thursdays there is dine-in trivia with gift cards as prizes. Staff was incredibly fast and pickup was seamless. Overall good visit and fun topping options like Crab Rangoon pizza.

It was our first time coming here and it was a really friendly environment with a good amount of seating. They had some games we could play while we waited which is a really good idea! The menu was unique and delicious we got the Big Ds Buffalo Chick and the Greek Goddess and some cheesy garlic bread and were not disappointed. Our waiter was helpful and prompt with service. It is definitely worth the $9 for a personal pizza it'll fill you up! Highly recommend.

I won't say this is the best pie I've ever had, but it for sure, without a doubt, seriously and wonderously the best pie in the Cedar Valley. Went for the first time tonight. Downtown CF was pretty crowded and parking was tough, but once I got through the door, I was VERY pleasantly surprised at what I found. Great industrial decor. Plentiful staff. Varied drink list, patio seating, nice bar, and clean everything. Immediate and pleasant service. The pizza selection was also plentiful and it was very easy to find the combination I wanted. On the wall, it says, "fast fired," which we commented on and no sooner had we done that when the pies arrived. Absolutely delicious. Thin crust, great flavors and combinations, and again, pleasant service. Anyone who knows me know I gripe about most of the food options here - but today, I found something at the excellent level for anywhere, not just here.

First time trying Urban Pie, very good first experience. Many options to choose from for toppings. The service is very fast and friendly. Also the restaurant is new and modern, seating options in or outside. Will be back again.

Went here for the first time because we heard so many good things about it. Was disappointed to say the least. We sat for a good while before any server took care of us (they were not busy). Ordered drinks and the soda was so watered down it wasn't even soda at that point. Garlic bread was fine, had a weird taste though. The pizza came and was very disappointing. Paper thin and tasted like a dirty oven. Our server was rushing us to talk and didn't listen so brought out the incorrect tickets but we paid and left. Will NOT be going back

Very disappointing. We've heard so many people speak of how great it is. My chicken wings were cold in the center and my wife had a hair in her pizza . While the wait staff did his job, he lacks personality and didn't really seem to care that we were his customer. Outdoor patio was nice. it will be a great place if they correct some of their food and server issues.

Yuck. Went tonight, ordered the special. They practically drowned the pizza in the sauce 'drizzle'. Crust was burnt and pizza was cold. Won't be back.

We love the patio in summer and the thin crust pizza all year round. The food always comes out fast and they have a nice selection of beers with a few on special most nights. A great addition to the CF/Main street restaurant line-up that I hope is here for a long time. And it is very easy to ride to from the bike trail!

Pizza had good taste. We tried the meat mountain and Philly steak; the Philly in particular seemed short on toppings. Service was also disappointing. We were the only couple in the restaurant section, are easy-to-please customers, yet had to get up and ask someone to take our order after waiting 10 minutes. It was also extremely cold in the restaurant (though it was -10 outside which could have been a factor). We would go back, but will try other places first

OK.. this was a neat idea for CF and located excellently in a new modern space just a block off of Main Street - should be all the makings for success - but the overall execution is pretty underwhelming, in my opinion. The atmosphere inside is quite stale and bleak with a cafeteria sort of feel. And while I do agree that the pizza is good, it is well overpriced for what it actually is. The only things I really find enjoyable about this place are the patio area, which, of course, is only open during the warm season, and the bottomless mimosa special that is offered on Sunday's.

By far the best restaurant atmosphere in the area. Love the food and the people behind the scenes genuinely care about the business

I've been twice now since they've opened. Visit #1 - lunch visit with 7 coworkers. We went at about 12:30, everyone got good parkting, and we found the table one of our coworkers was holding for us. It was a 6 person table so we stole some chairs from the bar to fit :) Everyone liked the atmosphere, the menus, etc. We decided to get 7 different pizzas (8 total) and split them so everyone could try a variety. Loved our pizzas! On visit #1 we had great service. I can' tell you our waitress' name but she was a drink-ninja. Everyone got refills multiple times, without asking. We took a long lunch so the place cleared out a bit by the time we finished and the owner/manager was walking around greeting customers. We chatted with him for awhile. Friendly guy! Visit #2 - After the success of visit #1, I decided to bring my folks here to try the BBQ pizza (that I LOVED). Visit #2 was less successful. Pizza was still amazing but we felt the service kinks that several others have reported. We sat for quite a long time waiting for the waitress to pick up our orders, watched her walk around with our number for about 20 minutes before she brought it over, and didn't get refills until we'd finished our pizza and asked for the check. At that point, she went to get me a refill and forgot to come back. When she came back to pick up our payment, she realized she left my drink on the bar and went and got me a new one. They were very, very busy so that was probably part of it. I got the feeling she hadn't been waitressing for very long herself. I'm giving it a 3-star rating just because the service wasn't good on visit #2. I'm not writing this place off yet, I plan on visiting again sometime and seeing if they can't increase their rating with me :)

Lived in C.V. for almost 50 years. Except for 6 year Bachelor's program in I.C. Saltiest food I have ever had. Not just pizza: Food. I didn't have the heart to complain to my server bc so far she has been the most pleasant caucasian Gen Z-er I've come across in the C.V. I can not see how someone that doesn't smoke three packs of filter-less Pal Malls a day could stand the saltiness. Crust seemed very undercooked unless supposed to be that way. Insanely limp though. 10" pizza. I had to hold on to it w/both hands so the piece wouldn't flop down at the juncture between outer rim of crust and the sauce/cheese part.

Having had a bad experience at another fast-fired pizza place, I was reluctant to try out Urban Pie. Some Yelp reviews convinced me to give it a go, and I'm glad we did. Good selection on tap, and they made my husband a solid Dirty Martini. My Veghead pizza was a great combination, well done, and husband's Supreme was also agreeably devoured. Son found the balsamic on his Margherita a little overwhelming. Service was expeditious and attentive, and it was great to get the pizzas so quickly.

Meh- uninspired. Reminded me of frozen pizza. We ate the whole thing because we were hungry, but all three pizza's were not very flavorful.

I'm going to begin by saying that I am a chef and give the industry people credit most of the time for there hard work and long hours. Having said that we tried out urban pie last night expecting a new fresh place to get a decent pizza in cedar falls. We were verryyy wrong. We walked in and nobody helped us out or welcomed us. Not such a good start to our visit. Next we ordered a basic margarita pizza. They took our order and gave us a number for our to go food. We waited for 45 minutes. I understand that it was busy but nobody said it will be right out or can we offer you something while you wait. Nothing!!! I watched the kitchen mess up a few pizzas that were to small then the oven operator came over and said they could "reuse" the messed up pizza. Just so happens that's the pizza we were given after 45 minutes of waiting. Better yet it got so chaotic in the kitchen we watched the owner walk on back and start operating the pizza oven. He knowingly cooked our pizza that was well below quality and no bigger than 5.5inches big. They state you get a 10inch pizza. Not the case. He rushed our order into a Togo box and handed it to us. This was a terrible thing for the owner to do. He should have re fired the pizza and started with a better quality version and apologized to us but he didn't. That was just while we waited for our pizza. When we finally got the pizza we looked at it and New it wasn't up to par with size and shape. Next we tried the pizza. It was terrible. Tasted like canned sauce and cheap ingredients. We could have gone to Tony's a few doors down and got a better pizza and that place is not so good either. We finally had to toss the rest of the pizza after a few bites and call it quits. We just moved to Cedar falls a few months ago and have come to expect less than stellar food quality but this had to be our worst experience yet. All the owner had to do was not sell us that terrible, extra small poor quality pizza and apologize to us and re fire the order. The only reason I'm giving you a 1 star rating is because a kind female server came up to us after we had been waiting for over 30 minutes and asked us if we had been helped. Overall we are very disappointed and will never be back.

Oh My God... amazing, loses one star as no soap in gents but the food was amazing. Definitely my go to for pizza in the cedar falls area

Good service. Pizza very good, although a little on the over done side. A tad bit too dark for me. Too much ch of a "burnt" flavor. Otherwise good.

I've been here a few times and the service is always slow. Nice staff, but slow. Today my food came out after we waited a long time and everything was cold which was a bummer because I love the margherita pizza. The wings were chewy but the sauces were good. and the bottomless mimosas are bomb.

First time at Urban Pie and wow...I will return! Good spot for kids (also eat free on Wednesday's!), food was amazing with a great selection, it was extremely clean and staff was very courteous. I had a build your own pizza as did my wife. I had a couple wings (pay per wing) and she had a side salad for an appetizer. Side salad nothing special but those wings were amazing! Only down fall is beer is around $6 each.
