Urban Plates

First time trying Urban Plates. I had my two dogs so I sat on the patio & ordered through the app. Seemed easy enough. Received my food and it looked very nice. The chicken tenders are really good. Big and tender. Very filling. Also got the Ceasar Salad and added the shrimp & steak for it for an extra $12. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and falovorful. The steak was good and tender. Pro tip: I'd ask for the meat to be on the side instead of on top of the salad. My only issue was I chose to dine in, granted on the patio because I had my dogs but I did leave a nice tip when I paid and I'd suggest the staff check on outdoor diners regularly as I couldn't go inside with my dogs for things I needed. If you're not going to check on guests or help them after you deliver the food, then don't expect a tip. The outdoor tables do not have any salt & pepper, napkins, etc so the staff needs to be a bit more accommodating, especially when getting tips. I'll try to eat indoors next time as the food was pretty good.

Nice Atmosphere, with a combination of urban/industrial interior. Very clean and friendly Staff. The food was outstanding. Very fresh/healthy/explosive mouth watery flavors. The Tomato-basil soup was slowed cooked to sweet perfection 👌. The grilled Brussels sprouts melted in your mouth. The portion sizes were just right once done. It didn't leave me hungry. Has indoor & outdoor seating. Disabled friendly with plenty of space in between tables. Highly recommend if you want a healthy meal without sacrificing taste of eating healthy. Two thumbs 👍 👍 up.

Ordered “chimichurri grass fed steak” on Doordash, but the cut of the steak is not the same as the restaurant photo, very disappointed, it doesn't look appetizing

First time here and it was fabulous! We first noticed the cleanliness. The restaurant was spotless. We were a party of three. All of the staff was welcoming, but the following folks went the extra mile. I went to the counter to order and Amadeus knew the menu, but more importantly was very patient. After getting me through the options and making some suggestions, my order was complete. David delivered our food to the table. David was upbeat, reviewed each plate as he delivered it, and made sure we had everything we needed. David repeatedly checked on us, shared his insights on the menu, and enriched our dining experience. He is a great ambassador for Urban Plates. I had the Barramundi. It was cooked perfectly and was moist throughout. We also enjoyed a Cobb Salad, Chicken Club, and chocolate cake. The chicken in both dishes was moist, tender, and flavorful. That first round was so good we sampled the mango tart, chocolate chip cookie, cowgirl cookie, and hummingbird cake. Yes, we had a bagfull of goodies for home. We'll be back to sample more of their great food.

So I went here with my family. I didn't eat anything however they ordered the short ribs, shrimp plate, moroccan plates and steak plate. They loved it. They also liked the coconut pineapple and lime drink as well as the strawberry basil lemonade. Edwin the general manager was amazing!! Very pleasant and nice.

These days you will notice that things are more expensive and quality is lowered, you rarely ever see a business to pass it forward by offering anything complimentary. However, this was not my experience today with CCC! I placed an order online and as always I never check my order until I get home and to my surprise I got more than I asked for! Thank you CCC for your generosity and kindness and specially for the good quality food. I really appreciate it!

I ordered a Thanksgiving meal online, but unfortunately, I received the same plate for both orders. The portions of turkey were small, and both meals came with only mashed potatoes and marble potatoes—no stuffing or vegetables at all. When I contacted the restaurant to address the issue, they informed me that this was my choice, which was surprising. A traditional Thanksgiving plate should include turkey, stuffing, vegetables, and potatoes, not just potatoes. Overall, I was disappointed with the lack of variety in the meal. I hope they can improve their holiday offerings in the future!

Yes. Urban Plates has low calorie options, they list their nutritional facts. The food tastes light, tastes great! I got the chicken cobb salad but I ditched the blue cheese and ditched the dill dressing and used my own. Maybe I'll try another salad dressing next time but the dill was a little too thick for my taste- however, I like dill in general. I think I have found a new "go to" place. They also had cakes on display and I walked past it BUT I walked slow while staring at it... ha! Plenty of seating and parking is shared with Ralphs, Sprouts and other restaurants. The vibe in here is chill.

Absolutely delicious food from the steaks to the salads to the sides to the desserts. We had a great experience with the staff and Kaylee took great care of us. Definitely coming back!

I'm back for another to go meal. Today, I'm enjoying the Wild Ahi Tuna with Carrots and Beets, and Herb Roasted Marbled Potatoes. What a treat! All the flavors come together quite nicely. Another treat is how quickly my meal was delivered to me. An additional treat was how courteous the servers were. It almost feels like I forgot to wear my costume because today, there was more treat than tricks! LOL

Came here for lunch and ordered the chimichurri steak. Service was great. Amadeus took my order and was very courteous.

Did a huge group order for the office at Urban Plates and scheduled delivery on Door Dash. The food arrived well packaged and hot, however, there were some issues with the order that made this a 3 star food experience. The food was INCREDIBLY salty and the rice was very dry. Perhaps this was a one time event but it was odd that even my salad was overly seasoned and salted. It unfortunately, made me unable to finish my meal. Aside from how salty everything was, the food quality seemed to be really great. I would give this place another shot, however, I would specify no salt on the food since they seemed to be too heavy handed with it.

Amadeus served us. She was patient and helpful. The food was very good. I would definitely return. The ambiance is pleasant. I like that they play music.

Delicious and healthy food with lots of choices. I love the tomato soup and half sandwich combo for lunch. Today I ordered an oatmeal cookie for the first time and it was fabulous!

Kaylee was very friendly, and helpful suggesting what to order based on my preferences. The ambience and music were very peaceful and pleasant. We had sandwiches this time, and will be back to try something different next time!

Meh...I went and met some friends for a birthday. Was told the burger was very good. I ordered it. They actually asked me how I wanted it cooked, I said medium rare, it came luke warm, almost well done with cheese barely melted. Was it precooked? I had no idea, The food was extremely underwhelming.

I can't believe the service sucked that bad. I not only had to deal with low class waiters but my steak... yes steak was burnt and they actually had the nerve to place it in front of me. many crying emojis

I've mostly ordered from here through Uber eats so I told myself I needed to come in person and I'm glad I did! The atmosphere was very chill and would make for a great lunch spot with friends. Above anything else I want to emphasize on the service here which these days can be hard to come by. When ordering I was already super indecisive but thankfully with amadeus' help he made sure to one have amazing patience and recommended some yummy items. Would highly recommend!

I'm so glad I found this place! Amadaus who took our order was so positive and very helpful with the menu. I was a bit overwhelmed with all the options, but I ended up choosing the grilled chicken with a side of broccoli and a Caesar salad. It absolutely hit the spot! The rustic bread that they gave you was also really yummy. Their bathrooms are super clean and the bathroom soap smells like lavender. I love that they serve craft beers and wine!. The decorations are very unique and while it's a bit industrial, it's also very homey and comfortable.! Next time I come I'll definitely get a glass of Daou wine and stay a bit longer. if you have a sweet tooth, I highly suggest the cowgirl cookie. It was as big as my face and so delicious. Unfortunately, I ate it before I could take a photo.. this place is located in the sprouts strip mall so parking is super easy and free just another added bonus.

I went to this place today and the guy at the register (Jose) was so polite. I'm not from here but I'm definitely coming back soon! Food was so delicious!!! 10/10

Got the Moroccan chicken Blaise with rice. Very tasty with a little kick. My husband got the chicken tenders with Brussels sprouts and potatoes. The potatoes were super garlicky and a little too salty for my taste, the Brussels sprouts were a little bland (I prefer mine baked/fried and these seemed boiled). The chicken was ok, although the batter was a little thin. Although a little on the pricey side ( spent almost $50 with a soda and a beer), will likely be back to try something else. Their desserts looked pretty legit!

Uber eats order-so I'm not sure about parking or bathrooms. I am a corporate flight attendant I love this place for its diverse selection and supremely quality food. It is also very allergy friendly. Their plates are well put together and food is always fresh! I have ordered here several times before. I only rated it 4 stars because the packaging isn't amazing and since I'm taking it to go I've a few times where things leaked or broke open. But the food itself is very good. I had the chicken sandwich-gf bread, fries and flourless chocolate cake As a chocolate lover (it literally can never be "too rich") this chocolate torte was amazing!!! Super chocolatey!! The fries were great and gf and my sandwich was amazing! Gf bread is crumbly but it always is so no fault to them gluten is the best binder for bread. The chicken was moist and the bacon was perfect!! I ate this the day after so I had toasted it a bit in the oven and it was amazing! I only wish it was easier to make notes or changes to some of the plates like adding extra avocado or extra protein. But I think that is an Uber eats issue and they are pretty maleable when yiu go in or order directly with them.

Urban plates has become our new favorite spot. They have tons of healthy options as well as the comfort food options that we tend to crave. Our kids love their kid's meal options and say that their chicken fingers are the best in the valley . We're happy to make the 20+ min drive out here and will continue to as long as their staff (like the lovely Yasmine!) continue to create such a yummy and friendly environment. Also, and this is a big deal, do not leave without the chocolate chunk cookie. We made the mistake of sharing one the first time we came in (they're huge). Trust me, you'll want your own.

This is definitely the worst urban plates. Ordered the steak and both the steak and mashed potatoes were cold.

Came back to urban plates after falling off for a while. It's nice to see they've made changes and seem to have a solid leadership team now. Edwin helped us both times, and he was warm, kind and accommodating. I appreciated him helping us and going above and beyond :) They've also added some new items to their menu, the short rib plate is super yummy! Glad to be back here, I did miss you urban plates.

Ordered food to go. Very clean and welcoming. The Caribbean salad is the Best salad ever. It matches the service by Amadeus. She's extremely friendly and informative.

Valentine's night ruined. We did their Valentine's special ordered chinichuri steak for 2. The meat was inedible. Literally could not even chew it, had to spit it out. Terrible quality especially for the price. They lost a long time customer, never agian

This is the second time I'm ordering the s Grass Fed Steak and every time it was cold! It seems they precook the steak and when a customer order it they just a little warm it up which ruins the quality of the food. It might be grass fed and healthy, but definitely not hot and juicy and it supposed to be. The place is always dark (at least during the day) and cold inside in day with outside Temp of 70.

I came here with my husband for a regular weeknight dinner, bur was truly blown away by the service and food we had! All of the options on the menu looked great, so we really couldn't decide what we wanted. The cashier, Elena, saw we were confused on what to order and was quick to help us out! She made so many great recommendations, really took her time to explain the menu to us, and was super friendly! Honestly - better service than at some 5 star restaurants. Ultimately, we were super happy with our choices and we can't wait to go back!!

Chicken club my go-to and especially now that you can get it with . Amazing service provided by the staff and especially Vanessa. And did I mention how big the cookies are.... ! Great place for lunch, dinner and everything in-between.

I really wanted to like this place but the side of mushrooms felt slimy and tasted blah. The brussel sprouts were the worst I have ever had any place. The plant based bowl was wonderful. The spicy broccoli... also a miss. The chicken I did not hear any complaints. My son liked the potatoes. The steak was also favored more or less. If I try more stuff that I like later I will certainly update... I thought for sure the grilled bread would be a no brainer winner but it unfortunately had a burnt taste.

The food has definitely dropped in quality. I also find the service is okay but every time I say I'm not going back I only go back because the waiting staff is kind, however the chefs and perhaps owners are forgetting to do quality control. Who wouldn't want to be served charred bread and stale chicken? Not me. They made a couple of mistakes which shows a lack of care. All I asked for was the sauce I originally ordered but I got something else. Brought it back and was told they would have to sell me the other ones but as I explained to the manager I was given the wrong ones to begin with. This isn't about money but several mistakes on their end...

Urban Plates is a must go to if you're in town. We love coming here. The food is so good, fresh and healthy. We pay for the plate pass which basically pays for itself on one order so it's a steal. We have gone to a few urban plates and this is our favorite. I highly recommend the Niçoise salad. Also the braised beef is so good, especially on cold days.

You ever heard of the Book Of Eli? A rotten tomatoes review labels it as: "Thirty years after war turned the world into a wasteland, a lone warrior named Eli (Denzel Washington) marches across the ruined landscape, carrying hope for humanity's redemption." That's exactly how I felt when I came to Urban Plates this most recent time. Except the wasteland/ruined landscape was my mind trying to figure out what I wanted to eat. Much like Denzel Washington from the movie; the cashier, Eli carried hope and redemption. Wonderful service, wonderful food, and it doesn't hurt that the template inside is much better than outside.

Love coming to grab a bite at urban plates. The food is yummy and the service is top notch. Amadeus helped us out tonight and she was so sweet and helpful.

First timer! Had a double cheese burger and it was truly amazing, fresh and juicy! The mango dessert was as fresh as if i plucked myself from a mango tree. Vanessa is so sweet and accommodating and she truly made the experience so worth it! Will definitely be back for more!

Delicious and it is near where I live. I've always wanted to try this restaurant since moving here over a year ago. Very fresh and tasty. I ordered a Cobb salad and it was perfect. I could not finish it. Very nice inside also. I had a pineapple soda. Quite refreshing. Cindy at the front desk was so sweet! I will be back. I also tried the giant oatmeal, shredded coconut cookie and it was so delicious!

Ordered family dinner from this place for new year eve. Never been in this place but food looked good along with reviews so we decided to give it a try. Ordered chimichurrie steak dinner with seasoned potatoes and broccolini. Steak was nice and tender Potatoes were perfectly seasoned with fresh herbs Broccolini was fresh and well seasoned with some sauce. It also came with chocolate chip big cookies. This order is good for 3-4 people only. Will definitely order or dine in here again.

Wow! Really good new menu! Come here wt my family often. My 8yo son even likes the niçoise salad.

Stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. Lots of gluten free options. Not too busy at 4:00. My wife had the steak w/Basmati rice and the Beet salad/w goat cheese. I had the pork ribs with basmati rice and beet salad with no goat cheese. Everything was delicious except the basmati was not to our test. The black tea was strong, as it should be. Service was excellent and price was not bad for post COVID. Next time I'm this end of town I'll have to stop by and try something else.

After what felt like a grueling 5.5 hour drive from Sacramento to Los Angeles, my stomach was in dire need of food. Since I was in Southern California, I wanted to try an establishment that is not present in Sacramento. Ironically, while looking for a grocery store, I stumbled upon Urban Plates. The name of the establishment intrigued me, the interior design of the restaurant had me at "hello," and the Yelp reviews were solid. Upon entering the establishment, I was warmly greeted by an employee restocking the condiments area. From the outside looking in, the employees probably thought that I looked like a child lost in a grocery store. I was completely absorbed by the open concept floorplan that allowed for you to see the cooks working their magic, along with the relaxing ambiance complimented by an old Corinne Bailey Rae track. As I made my way to the order area, I was enthusiastically greeted by a cashier by the name of Korie. Urban Plate has a pretty extensive menu, which I have no complaints about. However, when your stomach is rumbling like a bad Sacramento thunderstorm, it's hard for your brain to focus on the tall task of browsing through many options. Therefore, I asked Korie what she would recommend. Without hesitation, Korie suggested the Nashville Hot Crispy Tender Sandwich. I have had plenty of delicious Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwiches, and this was by far the best (the others were good as well)! The chicken was the perfect level of crispiness without the overcooked texture that you sometimes encounter with crispy chicken. I cannot put my finger on it, but something about the way this sandwich was prepared made me feel like I was eating a cleaner version of what is usually a pretty unhealthy option. The side of fries that accompanied the sandwich, were plentiful (they don't skimp you here) and delicious! I HIGHLY recommend Urban Plates for not only delectable Nashville Hot Crispy Tender Sandwich, but also for their AMAZING customer service (it's been awhile since I have honestly said this about an establishment)!

Visiting WH for a week and can't get enough of this place. The food is fresh and full of flavor. My husband and I have had the burger, chicken breast, chicken tenders, fries, even the banana cream pie. Their ingredients are top notch and The service is quick. Totally recommend!

Stopped by Urban Plates for the first time for a post-workout lunch and was not disappointed. Leo greeted us with a welcoming smile and answered all of our questions regarding the menu. I opted for their chimchurri steak with potatoes and the beet salad which was phenomenal. My sister got their blackened salmon, potatoes, and Brussels sprouts and also loved her meal. Needless to say, we will definitely be back. The food comes out quick, the ambiance is nice, the staff is friendly and not only is the food delicious but you get a well-balanced meal as well. 11/10 recommend

I ordered for a pick up and it was such a small portion, they also forgot the gravy for my mashed potatoes.

Someone finally cracked the code of fast food that is fresh and healthy. The fare at Urban Plates is served fresh and is inexpensive, they offer counter service or you can order via mobile phone from one of the rustic tables under a skylight. Reminiscent of the old cafeterias from last century, they offer a fresh twist by serving made from scratch food that is both nutritious and delicious! I particularly like their grilled chicken sandwich, a nice grilled chicken breast, tender and juicy served on a rustic bun with grilled tomatoes and aioli... it is a great lunch item. They serve wine and beer, and while it is sort of a cafeteria setting it isn't too noisy and the seating is comfortable. This is a spot that is in my regular rotation.
