Went here for the first time with my friends this past weekend and had a good experience. Service- This is was decent, but not great. My friend had to ask for her sauce a couple times before the waitress finally brought it over to her. I did find them being patient with me due to all the food choices to select. Food - tons of healthy options to choose from. It’s very hearty and healthy fast casual dining experience. I personally got the salmon but my friends order two meat dishes and loved them. Vibe - I liked the look of the restaurant itself and it’s right near the entrance/exit so you can come during a work lunch hour. It’s very chill nautical vibe with the lights and nets. Good casual spot. Bathroom- clean and no issues. I would definitely recommend because the food was reasonable priced and had a good vibe. Give them a try!

Outstanding customer service. This was my first visit to this restaurant at Tyson Galleria. The atmosphere was clean and refreshing. As we were entering the line, Mike greeted us and answered all of my questions. He offered to walk me through the line and bring my try to the table for me. Shell was very friendly also and took initiative to invite me to taste the vegan friendly options. Although few outside of the salad, I thoroughly enjoyed! 💛💛 I tried tofu bowl with organic brown rice and a side of potatoes. I will come again to order this same dish. Mike made it around to tables asking how did we enjoy it and that was great. A military discount is offered at this location also, which is a plus. It's in a great location on the top level of the Galleria. I plan to return and try other options with this bowl.

Urban Plates is located in Tysons Galleria in McLean VA. They claim as organic and made from scratch food. Ambiance: The interior is cozy and have a good positive vibe. Hip and chic. Very clean and corteous staff. Food: They have a good selection of food from salad, hot foods and desserts plus a few good organic drinks. The food serving comparing the ratio vs the price and what is included is already a steal. I am not a salad person so i haven’t tried their salad bar yet. I tried the sea bass and the grass fed steak, which for is just “ok” in terms of the taste. I feel they could’ve both spiced it up a little bit to add more flavor but both the sea bass and the steaks are moist so it’s a big plus. They have a good sides selection. I am a brussels sprout fanatic so i always get it everywhere i go then i also got the mashed potato with a gravy colored white which is surprisingly good than the usual brown gravy. I also hot the carrot and beets which i am not sire if either i liked it or not. For the dessert, I got the banana-pineapple cake and the mango tart which i told the staff that basing from the look of the mango, it is sout but i am asian so i am ok with it and i wasn’t wrong. It was sour and they still continue to sell it. The banana-pineapple cake is a superb combo for a dessert. I recommend this cake. Overall, i will comeback again. For the price and the serving portion. It’s a good deal.

Delicious food with great outdoor seating, all at an amazing price!! My husband can't believe his Moroccan chicken was only $10 and literally tasted home made. My salmon and two sides were so fresh and sooo tasty at $15. I've easily paid double for these dishes and they weren't nearly as tasty or fresh. We also love their drink that has coconut in it. We felt like we were at the beach. We can't wait to come back!!!

I love it! AMAZING flavor! Its their 2nd day open as of July 17 & it's a must you visit! Thank me later Update: The chocolate cookies are the BOOM. Soft & so good. I hate cookies with too much chocolate & these have the perfect balance. I'm still snaking on them lol oh my kids are too cause it comes with 3 big cookies

This has become my go to place to eat lunch in Tyson’s. Awesome selection for those looking for fast but really good quality salads, sandwiches and dinner style plates. They have an awesome selection of healthy sides. The lady at the front Reginette was really great too.

Two stars for effort. Quite frankly I’m shocked at the high reviews but I’m happy they had a better experience than I did. I am especially disappointed because I actually used to go ALL the time when we lived in San Diego and it was so much better. I came to Tysons specifically for UP - I was so excited. It’s not cheap by any means compared to other fast casual restaurants and my steak was so over cooked and limited. I also wasn’t asked if I wanted bread but luckily was able to tell them that I would. Idk I’m disappointed.

I love Urban Plates. Especially the privilege of having a multiple locations where ever you travel to, being gluten-free it’s hard to be in many places and not have anything to eat but this place can satisfy any allergy. I get the same thing every single time even when I’m at home in California but that just means that everything that they have on their menu is good enough to eat every single time. Get the wild nicoise salad so good!!! They have the best gluten-free flourless chocolate cake that I’ve ever tried in my entire life.
