I love visiting Urban Reap! They are always so kind and friendly, helpful and patient with all my gardening questions. One lady spent an hour with me, listening and looking at my garden photos on my phone, troubleshooting soil and pest issues and gave me a ton of printed resources and suggestions to try. I love shopping their organic plants, flowers, herbs and seeds too at amazing prices. I’m so grateful for them!

This place is amazing. I've learned so much through their monthly workshops, the people are SO sweet and helpful, and they have all sorts of plants and herbs for sale! Being able to buy and contribute to local compost is great (especially since my own attempts at composting are not producing large enough yields for my needs!); and above all else, I love knowing that everything I spend there is going back into helping the community.

This is such a neat place. Come whether you like to garden or not, eat local sustainably grown food, or just look around to see how aquaponic growing systems work and how water can be purified in other countries. They sell compost, and if you have food you could compost they will take it. They have an amazing compost system that converts food waste to compost incredibly faster than anything you could replicate in your backyard compost (like turnover in 24 hours). Very educational. They sell all kinds of flowers, succulents, herbs, fruit and vegetable plants. This is an interesting extension of Mission Waco. If Katy is there when you go by, she is a wealth of knowledge on everything here! My kids, husband and I picked out some plants while we were here and I’m including pictures. Reasonable prices. Next time I’ll take pictures of the actual location and post an update. We were too in awe looking at the hybrid fish feeding the plants and looking around to take pictures. Can’t wait to go back!

Definitely my favorite nursery/greenhouse in Waco. The staff are always so welcoming and kind, answering any questions you have (or don’t know you have yet). I always leave feeling so much more informed about my garden problems/needs, and love shopping their plants. On top of all of that, their prices are fantastic and they have sales all the time! Their mission is wonderful, I highly recommend shopping at Urban REAP.

The selection tucked into this tiny gem of a nursery is just incredible! Can't beat their prices, the kindness of the employees, and the range of native plants is awesome! My garden is going to be filled with their plants, one weekend shopping trip at a time. Thank you, Urban Reap, for your mission of bringing plants (and sustainable practices) to the community!!! ♡

This place is sweet and I love the concept of it - growing, giving back to the community, and educating locals is always wonderful! I do wish there was a bit more signage on where to enter/park (we weren’t sure if we could park in the Jubilee parking lot but it looks like you can) - but it was our first time visiting so we know now! Also, if you have a stroller leave it in the car unless it’s small - the space is a bit narrow and we were having to scoot over a lot to let people through the walkways (it was our first time visiting so again we weren’t aware and from looking on social media/website we didn’t see anything about not bringing one either). The composting program is pretty cool - I wish I got the chance to speak to someone regarding it, but honestly my one tiny complaint is the staff/volunteers that were there seemed busy and the atmosphere wasn’t as welcoming as I expected it to be. We will try coming again on a different day - just was really excited for this place and was hoping to speak to some staff/volunteers about gardening etc. so bit of a let down there, but the concept and the community focus is absolutely wonderful and I hope they keep doing what they do!!!
