Everything that i have consumed by UR has been really good. So that would be cookies, matcha and fruit bars, brownies. Have not tried the salads yet as i usually go to chpd or sweat green and prefer blue cheese dressing which prob does not jibe with their mission. There is a lot of innovation going on which i find to be very exciting and for me they are providing alternatives to baked goods. Their approach and products really make one wonder if let's say an almond croissant (one of my all time fav baked goods) is even necessary eat any more. One could instead get lets say a macha bar for the same price and be healthier and (happier- thianine and caffeine). The double chocolate cookie is truly remarkable and is great with ronnybrook choc milk! But it is very expensive. If i remember correctly it was $4 and it was avg size. I would like to see a 3 pack of those instead for let's say $8 (if possible). Not sure how far they can go in terms of a customer base. One possibility would be to contact with schools. If they could mass produce those cookies it would be good for them and great for the kids who need healthier versions available!

Extremely high quality things. Has raw food and raw desserts! A little skimpy on portions but the vegan caesar with some avocado you bring will be really filling. All desserts are pretty much to LIVE FOR.

I'm a diabetic. I stopped when I desperately needed some nourishment to get my blood sugars back up. They denied my cash payment (20.00 bill). They accept cash for themselves as tips, but won't except my cash for payment. I didn't have any other method and explained my medical situation. Even though there was a tip jar full of cash for change, they denied me and watched as I staggered out while holding onto what I could to make it back to the car.

Google
It's a tiny spot with only a few parking options but they have a great selection of smoothies, juices, wellness shots, salads, snacks and seasonal desserts. Love stopping here to pick up snacks on the way to the movies or on a road trip.

Lag Spike (AA-ron)

Google
Healthy shakes that actually taste great, and that's coming from a 21 year old who is generally a picky eater. All of their products are made from real ingredients which sound gross on paper but are so good I go almost everyday... They taste like icecream milkshakes. I would say the best thing is the way I feel after I always have way more energy than if I just get something from the grocery store.

Google
If you haven't tried the sunflower butter and chocolate super food bar, you need to. Absolutely delicious. While they have gotten rid of their more fattening drinks, it's still good. They have chicken snacks and salads as well as drinks.

Google
The quality of the food produced here is amazing. It's REALLY good stuff. If you're into the upper end of the bell curve for high-density, organic nutrition that uses tonic herbs and other perks for boosting flavor and energy, then Urban Remedy is the bomb. But it's also pricey, which is both a reflection of their high-quality ingredients and their lack of economy of scale, and the only reason I give them 4 instead of 5 stars.

Google
Stopped in today to get some juice while traveling and 2 smoothies for my family. They enjoyed the smoothies and I like each of the juices so far. I can’t wait to try their home delivery service!

Yelp
The original store, cute location off Miracle Mile. They no longer offer an environmentally responsible, reusable bottle and have moved plastic and smaller quantity... the juice is among the best, but taste much worse out of a plastic container.

Yelp
I love their BUT they are ALWAYS out if stock in things. I have called the company and they still do not stock their stores properly

Yelp
I picked up a pricey bottle of "Organic Glow" juice by Urban Remedy at my local Whole Foods in PENNSYLVANIA and it tasted fresh and delicious. Was it a bit pricey at $8.00? Yes. Did I need it? Yes. Will I buy more? Absolutely yes. 40 Calories, 9 grams of carb and: Cucumber Celery Lemon Spinach Kale E3Live (love that blue green algae!!) Parsley Like a juice jar in a bottle. Brava!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Tiny place but they offer great big vegan friendly veggie and fruit juices. Their variety is pretty good but it would be better if they didn't add stevia to so many of their products. I could also do without the plastic bottles. I'm happy to bring glasses back or recycle. We go here weekly and enjoy trying new juices. Most everyone at this location's very and helpful, especially when your look for specific health remedies.

Yelp
Kurt was our cashier, he explained about their products, only because we told him this is our first time experiencing the shop. He was so friendly, patient, and attentive. We have chosen their lemon remedy , which was included chlorophyll, lemon , and stevia. Fabulous fabulous fresh organic formula to get . I will definitely come back to try different products.

Yelp
Mission San Rafael is named for St. Raphael, the archangel of healing. In the apocryphal book, he heals using a fish's liver. Urban Remedy, on the other hand, claims medicinal foods, predominantly vegan, though they do use eggs and chicken. Their drinks vary in quality- their Blue Magic Milk looks like it came right out of a creation from nearby Skywalker Ranch, and it tends to clump up. As a cashew milk, it's OK. On the other hand, they do make great juices (using beets&carrots, for example) along with a wonderful "bacon" for their Benedict Bowl using beets. Their Umeboshi&rainbow salads are kind of dry, tho they do make phenomenal salad dressings. It's their spring rolls&juice drinks that are the real stars- along with their vegan desserts, especially their vegan desserts. As Hippocrates famously said, "Let food be your medicine." And yes, they are a short walk from Mission San Rafael.

Yelp
Urban Remedy is a savior when I'm on the go. I love to cook, am ingredient conscious, and most of all I love flavor. When I'm in my own kitchen I get to use high quality ingredients, experiment with flavors, but when I'm on the go, I feel like I have to compromise one or the other. Healthy food doesn't always taste good because there's not enough intention around flavor and flavorful food isn't always healthy... And then came Urban Remedy- Healthy meets Flavor =Perfection!

Yelp
I am the last person that I would think could do a 3 day juice cleanse but Urban Remedy was recommended to me and I decided to try it. I was apprehensive but determined to do it to get rid of my cravings and excessive hunger. There was a special for buy 3 get one free so I wound up doing a 4 day cleanse. It is best to do a three day preparation where you gradually decrease meat, taper down on caffeine and increase water intake to at least 8 glasses per day but I jumped right in. My biggest worry was that hunger and low blood sugar would lead to releasing the Kraken on loved ones, coworkers and random strangers. The Urban Remedy cleanse is amazing. You drink lemon water in the morning and 1 of the 6 juices every 2 hours starting at 9AM. Each delicious juice is a different combination of veggies and fruits which keeps things interesting. The combination of ingredients kept my blood sugar stable. No headaches or cramps that reportedly can be side effects of do it yourself cleanses. I slept well and I was never hungry!! I did get a bit light headed on day 2 and white knuckled it for a bit on day 3. When I was done I ate lightly and mostly veggies and fruits for a few days after. The cleanse had the desired effects. My cravings were gone, my stomach shrank, my metabolism kicked up a notch and I lost weight. It went so well I decided to do a form of cleansing every month to reset myself when bad habits start creeping back in and to keep the scale going in the right direction. I loved the Metabolism kit which has two delicious raw food vegan meals, 4 juices and a snack each day. I kicked off this year with a 3 day juice cleanse and had no issues, it was easy peasy. The food is also amazing. The spring rolls, Zen salad, cauliflower tabbouleh, kale Cesar and zucchini fettuccine pesto are beyond delicious. I would be happy if I ordered them at a restaurant. Urban Remedy is a fantastic business with products available online or at locations in Marin and SF. I can not wait until they open the East Bay store in Berkeley/ Emeryville area. A great place to pick up delicious vegan food, juices and snacks or a cleanse. Highest recommendation!

Yelp
The green juice I had was quite good and I am sure good for me. I will probably not be coming back for juice tho, $8.75 is steep when there are many other options locally. Urban Remedy does have many other interesting and delicious snacks that you don't see other places. Great for feeding my young daughter who normally avoids everything green.

Yelp
This is my go to for eating healthy, when I don't have time to cook. Eating food from here gives me energy and never leaves me feeling tired. The store clerk, Jennifer, is so polite and helpful. I really enjoy going here.

Yelp
So disappointed in what feels like a bait and switch. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this company and their food but I just received my third meal plan (my 2nd Anti Inflammation and also did the Metabolism) and they have dramatically decreased the size of every single salad, yet the price is the same. On the first Anti Inflammation plan I felt satiated and energized throughout, but now the salad sizes have shrunk! It looks to be decreased by about half, rather than the (approximately) 8 inch round bowl (about 3" deep), it's 4.5 x 4.5 square and 3 inches deep, so in no way is it the same amount of the food but again, it's still the same price! My fiancée wanted to try this and asked, "will I feel hungry all the time?" And since I felt hungry on the Metabolism plan, it seems she will on this one, because these are mini meals, not full meals. PS I also called to see if this was an error and haven't received a response in over 24 hours.

Yelp
Urban Remedy has ready made juices in the frig. there's also smoothies, salads, and some other tasty snacks. drink: pink lemonade (4.95) -powerful lemonade taste with a strong ginger kick invigorating. -other juice combos sell for 8.95?

Sassan B.

Yelp
I really didn't get that why the purple salad package was fine but the salad dressing packaging inside the salad was open and only 1/3 filled???

Yelp
Okay literally could LIVE here. Haven't tried anything that ISN'T amazing!!!!! The VLT is to LIVE for, as are the Glow and Slender Green juices. Get like a hundred sun squares cuz they RULE. Guilt-free, nutrient-dense "fast food" this holistic nutritionist craves on a daily basis!

Yelp
While I want to love everything about this company and don't get me wrong I love their ingredients, but being a vegan and one that cooks and experiments often with food, I just cannot justify their prices for the portion size. Yes, I am fully aware of all the ingredients used and about how much they cost since I am usually always stocked on most of them in my own kitchen. My review is based on the sizes of their products vs their outrageous prices. This company takes expensive (or price gouging should I say) to a whole new level. I tried to give them a chance and support the company at first by trying out their packaged items such as the banana brittle, sun squares, cacao mousse, juice shots, etc but my wallet lost weight in the process. It seems as though Urban Remedy takes full stand in today's price gouging times..it seems their prices were obtained by practices inconsistent with a competitive free market or to windfall profits, given the spike in demand for vegan, healthy and organic foods. I would love to see this company reconsider their portion sizes or better yet, lower their prices. I remember the day I grabbed their chocolate mousse to go (only based on ingredients used as I follow a strict, sugar free, vegan diet) and when I got to the counter I could not believe the price. I bought it anyways and noticed later when eating it, that it literally is like a little snack..a couple of bites and your done...I paid almost $7 for this tiny mini cup of mousse that looks like a free sample size! I asked my health conscious friend to guess how much it costs while I was eating it making her fully aware of ingredients and she said $3 - $4 at the most and that would still be very expensive for that little cup..I agreed that I could not see myself spending more than $3-$4 for it so when I told her the price she agreed that it was straight up ridiculous crazy expensive. I will never buy that little cup again..I mean I make a similar mousse at home and get a huge container full lasting me a very long time for the same amount. So all in all, I have stopped purchasing Urban Remedy due to their high prices. Even their shots...I was still getting over spending $3 for a shot that is like two sips...and now I see that price double with UR products. Their products are sold at Whole Foods so that is where I first found out about them.

Yelp
I love urban remedy! Perfect to pick up lunch on the way to the beach or a hike. My favorite is the eggs Benedict salad with eggplant bacon. So so good.

Maria B.

Yelp
I love this place, the food is fresh and tastes so good. The juices are delish!! Yes, the price may seem a bit high, but organic fruits and veggies are expensive as is all the packaging, the rent a business needs to pay, employees, utilities etc. So, for the price, the food is well worth it.

Yelp
Drove by this place while coming from a wedding rehearsal Friday afternoon, and I could feel a cold coming on. Popped in and told them that I was getting sick, but needed to nip it in the bud since the wedding was the next day. The guy with the longish brown hair was super helpful in recommending the best juice for me. I ended up grabbing the shot sized inflammatory reliever juice with cayenne, turmeric, ginger and pineapple. Definitely had some zing to it but super drinkable and the best part, it zapped my cold before it got bad! Thanks for saving my weekend!

Yelp
Kick ass raw vegan salads and juices in compost able packaging. LOVE that this place is close. Would've given it 5 stars were it not for the fact that as an ethical vegan I thought it was really sad to see all the boiled chicken menstruation anomalously on the shelf amongst all the delicious raw vegan food. If you want to offer people additional protein why not just make your own raw powder blend? Update.. Tastes their purple raw vegan potato salad and realized I could live on it alone forever so I'm giving them 5stars now despite the fact that they sold chicken period (aka eggs) in San Rafael; that salad is awesome!

Yelp
There honestly isn't too much to say that isn't quite obvious. Urban Remedy is THE best place to go if you are planning on going on a juice cleanse. A few months back I tried to do the low glycemic cleanse for only one day and I felt very good after. They also have a very good selection of non cleanse juices that I sometimes pick up as snacks. I can get very lonely in my big house alone all day so I sometimes drive to Urban Remedy and get lunch to break up my day. I highly recommend this place for everyone!

Yelp
You're gonna find some serious goodness in this tiny store. Pricey, yes, but hell, you're in the Bay Area, whaddya expect for fresh juices? The product that blew my mind, though, was the tiramisu. Sweet Baby Jesus. I thought I done died and gone to an Italy that served heavenly raw desserts. Try it. Really.

Yelp
I've done a lot of cleanses before, but this one? Blech. I am on day 2 of the signature cleanse and it is SO SWEET. There's just one out of the six juices that isn't sweet, but I wish they'd put it in the middle of the day so there was a break in the sugar. Three of them have stevia added, which I was hoping would be mild... But no... They're all super sweet too, and then they have the added bonus of the bitter stevia aftertaste. What confuses me about their use of stevia is that juice #4 ("After Party") has a whopping 34 grams of sugar. Compare that to a can of coke that has 27 g or my Haagen Dazs frozen yogurt in the freezer that has 20 g per serving. Why use stevia if you're not worried about sugar content in the other juices??? You could throw in some agave syrup, honey, or maple syrup and make it taste way better while cutting back on the fruit/veggie sugar sources in #4. Juice #4 tastes great, but my first thought was "You could make great sorbet with this stuff." Clearly you guys aren't worried about glycemic indexes. How are people supposed to transition back to a healthful diet after eating only sweet stuff for three days? I feel like maybe this cleanse is geared toward the women that drink sugar-free frappuccinos and diet Pepsi all day... If you've done anything like a cleanse before or if you already take good care of yourself and don't drink soda all day, this probably isn't for you. It's not for me. I'll take my kale and baby carrots and see myself out.

Yelp
I know that a lot of other reviewers love this cleanse. I usually do my cleanses through a place in San Francisco but decided to try the Urban Remedy 3-day signature juice cleanse as a Gilt City deal. You get six, 16-oz juices. It's great that you get a lot of juice. What's not so great is that four out of the six juices are sweetened with Stevia. Thankfully, the green juices aren't sweetened -- and they're delicious! I know that the nut milk and the chia seed shake would taste so much better without the Stevia. I feel great after just two days on the cleanse, and the juices are filling. A juice cleanse is a wonderful thing -- I only wish that Urban Remedy didn't sweeten the juices with Stevia.
google avatar

Miss K.

Yelp
Pros: a small selection of salads and raw treats. Cons: almost everything has Stevia! I would never do a cleanse (or order a smoothie, nut milk, or other beverage in a JUICE shop that has added Stevia). Customer service...I'm never a fan when I'm not thanked for my business. Turning the screen for me to swipe my card and then walking away to never return or even thank me...that's very poor service.

Yelp
The moral of the story: if you have to ask, you can't afford it. I wandered in looking for coffee, because this place looks frikkin adorable from the miracle mile, and I was super excited to finally notice something new and modern in the neighborhood (guess it's been open for a year). Unfortunately, the coffee is $5.50. I do love really good coffee, and I grew up in the world of coffee shops, rather than the world of instant and .10 coffee. But my reaction to $5.50 was probably like my grandma's reaction to how much an average cafe cuppa costs: "what is this made of? gold shavings?" The server was very nice, she saw my shock at entering what seemed to be some kind of magical healthy juice land where the juice all comes out of a refrigerator in glass bottles. She tried to explain the prices, because there were no prices on the menu. She gave me a sample - I guess they always have a couple bottles open for samples. But at that moment, about 10 minutes after I ate lunch, and about 3 hours late for my morning coffee, Urban Remedy was - alas - not my remedy.

Yelp
I have been juicing for years and while this place offers a nice variety of juices & healthy treats well, it's a bit expensive and not always very tasty. Some are nothing but sugar, might as well have a coca cola :0) The staff isnt always that friendly & may not quite like their job?? :(

Yelp
Post a new year's weeklong cruise, it was time for some major detoxing, and Urban Remedy did the trick! After a 3 day juice cleanse I felt so amazing. The juices themselves were great, there was one that I wasnt a fan of and would probably substitute out next time (the carrot/beet one), but besides that, I thought it was exactly what the doctor ordered! I LOVED their raspberry chai seed drink and have been trying to make my own ever since. Some of the benefits of the cleanse: 1) Got back to my pre-cruise weight 2) Slept like a baby every night 3) Felt like I wanted light, clean veggies as cravings vs chocolate chip cookies! Anytime I find myself slipping off track, i'll be calling Urban Remedy to take me back to where I need to be.

Yelp
I just completed the 3 day Purify Cleanse. This is the first cleanse I've tried that I think is a worthy competitor to my favorite, Can Can Cleanse. The cleanse was a pleasant experience from start to finish. It was really easy to order online. Delivery came right on time. I appreciated the daily motivational/instructional emails they sent during the cleanse. All of the juices tasted good and I liked that there were two drinks with fats - one nut milk and one with chia seeds - so I didn't feel as deprived. I am someone who believes that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so I drank the nut milk first, after the lemon water, to start the day with some protein and calories. I think that helped a lot with my energy level. I've cleansed many times now and this was one of the easier ones. I also got some of the Nosh snacks, which were delicious. My one complaint is that a few of the juices contain stevia. I think they could probably get the same sweetness from apples or dates or maybe the sweetness isn't even necessary. Other than that, loved it.

Yelp
My family and I were visiting from out of town and we're very pleased to find Urban Remedy. As raw vegans, we find it challenging to find dining options outside if our own kitchen. The juices, salads and smoothies were all delicious.

Yelp
I was excited to stop into this new retail location in San Rafael as I'd heard good things from others who had tried their cleanses in the past. Actually getting into the parking lot and figuring out where to park is tricky but the juices are excellent. I don't love that there are no 'made to order' juices and that everything is pre- bottled b/c I'm picky and I like to choose the ingredients in my juice. That said, the cucumber, fennel, lemon, apple, and ginger was super. Did not love the pineapple-coconut meal replacement though. It was SO thick and grainy I honestly couldn't drink finish it. I'm a huge fan of the raw almond brownies. So yum! Just the right mix of salty and sweet. This is definitely an improvement to this stretch of 4th St. Best of luck Urban Remedy!

Yelp
The Pros: * Comprehensive kits - full scope of nutrition and easy to follow * The snacks are great: spring rolls, kale salads and other treats are my go-to. * Gluten & wheat free * Tasty juices! * Most juice places just offer juice, so the snacks are helpful for those not able to just juice. * Yes, it's costly, but if you're looking for the health results, then it's worth it. If you just want something to quench your thirst, this isn't the place for you. The Cons: * Many of the juices contain apple, which for those on FODMAP are sensitive to. Many of those with FODMAP restrictions are looking to cleanse to get rid of bloat not have it. So you'll have to choose a kit wisely. * For many, Stevia sweetner causes all kinds of reactions. I would prefer they use maple syrup or other.

Yelp
So I feel like for the most part all cleanses are pretty standard. This one is pretty tasty and they do have stellar snacks for those who cannot do ALL juice like me. However this place has OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. My shipping address got messed up and they held my shipment and drove back out to deliver it to me after I got home. They were super friendly and really went out of there way to make sure I got my cleanse. Will definitely be ordering from them again!

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of Urban Remedy, from the folks working in the SR store to the juices, snacks, et.al. Having an autoimmune disorder I am often exhausted with little effort. While a three day cleanse seemed intimidating, I convinced myself that if I didn't have three days to devote to myself then shame on me. (You know, missing socializing, feeding the family, generally being around people!) After my first cleanse I couldn't believe how wonderful I was feeling. With loads of energy it was best I've felt in many years. And as a bonus, my friends commented on how good I looked and how bright and glowing my skin was. I'm about to start my 8th & 9th Urban Remedy cleanses (I'll do two 3 Day Signature Cleanses in a row) as I'm preparing for a long trip and want to feel and look my best. Their pricing may seems expensive but it's very good - you'll pay more with similar companies. And with a $10 delivery fee (Marin) you can't go wrong. Good luck!

Yelp
The beautiful people at Urban Remedy are doing a beautiful thing. I completed a 3 day signature cleanse right before the new year, and then right after, I was thinking, when is my next one? For the past few years have juiced on my own, ordered from some other juice companies, dipped into the raw diet, dipped out, and have always had a very balanced healthy diet and lifestyle. UR juices are FABULOUS! The signature cleanse is so well designed. From start to finish, each juice/smoothie/nut milk is tasty and makes you feel so so so amazing. They offer both pick and delivery options, so it's really easy! I cannot say enough wonderful things about these people and these juices. Via email and telephone, they are helpful, knowledgable and really nice.

Cathryn C.

Yelp
I was so excited to finally have UR here in Sonoma. I lobbied Whole Foods strongly. However, as a long time patron, I am disappointed in the changes you've made to serving sizes and smaller containers. The vegan Caesar is about half what it once was. The desserts also. Very disappointing.

Yelp
My cousin works with some of the biggest juice companies in the US so, over the years, I've been able to sample my fair share of the well known (Blue Print being an obvious one). I happened to discover Urban Remedy while driving by one day and stopped in to check it out. It's a small space but bright and airy. There's a fridge with all kinds of juices you can get on the go as well as salads and other granola-type snacks. I believe everything is gluten free. This is definitely a place to start a juice cleanse. They deliver or you can pick it up. The people working there are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable without being overbearing. They'll let you sample pretty much anything which is nice. I was looking for an immune system boost that day because I was recovering from a cold. I had the 'after party' and it was like a light meal unto itself and I could practically feel all the healthy goodness being happily soaked up by my healing bod. I took some info about the 3-day cleanses and I'm planning on trying one soon.

Yelp
I am a carnivore. I couldn't have ever imagined "juicing" but there I was doing a 3 day cleanse for the first time ever.. the first day was tough, but after the 2nd day I had more energy and by the third I just felt great inside & out. I survived! & lost a few pounds along the way. I'd definitely do it again. The meals are pretty awesome. PB&J in a bottle may sound weird but is delicious! I've also tried some of the brittles and kale chips which are pretty addicting.

Yelp
I love this spot! I was thrilled when it opened in San Rafael, not far from where I work. The first time I walked in I was greeted by Amanda behind the desk, who was super friendly and warm. We got to chatting and she let me sample a couple of their juices. For someone like me who is really active, I love that they offer a wide range of juices and meal replacement type smoothies. Last time I did a cleanse for 4 days (made my own juice) I felt totally drained and found it difficult to teach my usual 2 yoga classes a day, on top of practicing. Next time I do a cleanse I will be adding one of their bomb smoothies! I tried the chai one the other day....soo good. Any place you go for fresh pressed juice, it is going to on the more pricey side. And Urban Remedy is all organic! You get what you pay for! I highly recommend this spot.

Yelp
I've been waiting for a place like cafe gratitude to call home and they have arrived! I'm curious if they will start offering a daily box deal or weekly delivery service! Superb juices I love Glow, and the chia parfait is amazing. Vegan ceasar salad with wild salmon unreal!

Yelp
Just finished my second juice cleanse using Urban Remedy. I've done the signature as well as the Purify. These juices are delicious and pulp free. Those nut mils are to die for. This time around they forgot to deliver some of the juices we ordered. The quickly corrected the issue (and contacted me on a Sunday evening to let me know they were on it) and gave us some free juices to boot (Holy Pink Lemonade!). I've juiced on my own, which of course anyone can do. But using Urban Remedy makes it so much easier and they taste so much better then anything I can mix up. I highly recommend doing at least a three day cleanse. Your whole body will thank you.

Yelp
I thought this was a smoothie place but it turns out it's a $10 juice store! Why does it exist? Capitalism is trash. The girl working there was absolutely lovely. I hope she gets to drink this ridiculous stuff for free.

Yelp
I'm currently eating a salad and drinking a green juice from Urban Remedy. Absolutely delicious. I walked in and one of the guys behind the desk instantly asked if I needed help picking something out (he probably sensed my newbie confusion). He then poured me samples of REFRESH (lemon + chlorophyll + stevia + filtered water) and some other light, veg-only green juice. I also snacked on samples (they have soooo many samples) of house-made cheesy kale chips and this delicious salad (Note: a juice bar with healthy organic wholesome salads has my undying love). I ended up buying the salad--Zucchini Fettucine Green & Red (pesto & marinara sauces)--and the REFRESH juice. So, so good. I'll list the ingredients in the salad (which tastes SO GOOD and is filling me up): Sauce--organic sundried tomato, organic basil, organic lemon, organic garlic, organic hemp seeds, organic himalayan pink salt, organic coconut sugar, organic olive oil Pasta--organic zucchini noodles, organic parsley I'm very healthy and very active and it is so refreshing to find a premade meal that is free of preservatives and that will nourish my body (i.e. there's no "xantham gum" in this juice..). Already excited to go back.

Yelp
I ordered this cleanse for my step-dad, who has severe eczema and various other health issues. I was hoping a cleanse would be a good way for him to detox and transition into healthier eating. Urban Remedy seemed like a great option because I could order a combination of juices, food, and the "spikes" for added health benefits. Pros: In my opinion, Urban Remedy has great customer service. I emailed them to figure out what kind of cleanse I should order for my step-dad, and they responded with a list of items I should order that help with inflammation, skin issues, etc. It was nice to know that the cleanse would cater specifically to his problems. They also provided me with a 10% off coupon code, which was nice considering it's not particularly cheap! Now, obviously I can't comment too much on how the products actually tasted, but I was able to try the kale chips, and they were pretty good! Cons: A couple other items I was able to try (because my step-dad literally couldn't drink them) were the Boost lemonade (turmeric, lemon and stevia) and the Hot Chocolate (almond, dates, cacao, sea salt, cinnamon, cayenne and maca root). I normally don't have issues with "weird" tasting drinks, but these were NASTY. The lemonade tasted like pickle juice (maybe it had gone bad??) and the Hot Chocolate had so much cayenne that I started violently coughing after the first sip, which caused my throat to hurt pretty badly for the next few hours. Honestly, if they just cut the amount of cayenne, it probably could have been a good drink, but there was just WAY too much in there. Another con was the fact that the banana brittle we ordered was completely broken when it arrived, so it was all crumbs. The Zucchini Fettuccine meals were also pretty banged up, along with being TINY! I feel like a meal composed of only zucchini and tomato sauce could stand to be a little larger. I can't comment personally on any of the other items, but my step-dad ate/drank them, so I guess the flavors were OK. At the end of the 3 days, my step-dad felt horrible. He actually felt so sick that he had to leave work and come home early. I'm not sure if it was because he was so hungry, or because his body was detoxing. His skin was pretty aggravated as well. I was disappointed that the cleanse didn't work out better for him...but what can you do? I will say that I wouldn't completely discount this company in the future. I think that they could easily fix some of the issues I mentioned (especially related to flavor problems) and I would personally like to try one of the cleanses myself to get a better grasp on how it would make me feel and how different products taste. If I do decide to order another cleanse, hopefully the experience will be more positive!

Yelp
I love, love, love Urban Remedy. I feel so nourished with a plethora of juice recipes to choose from. My appetite for a power lunch is always satisfied from the specialty salads, spring rolls and even sweet selections. Urban Remedy makes it possible to do a juice cleanse, without interrupting a busy lifestyle. Each day I feel better and better, making Urban Remedy my perfect companion to make 2015 my year to get back on the saddle of my own health. I love Amanda and the staff at Urban Remedy and I'm amazed at the expansion of the stores, growing from San Rafael to Mill Valley and I heard San Francisco. Great work UR!!

Yelp
Sweetest spot! Location is so photo worthy! I'll be back with a cuter outfit and have myself a vouge down shoot! The open space in the front perfectly fits the easy, "hipster asthetic" of the city without being cheesy and forced. I walked into a clean very sweet shop, greeted by a guy with ocean blue eyes and pearly whites. Everything is pre-packaged which is so fast and convenient. My order: Umeboshi Salad ; so beautifully packed, perfect portions of the creamy sauce. Colors just scream joy. Perfect salad. Refresh lemonade; tangy and sweet. Beautiful turquoise color. Hits the spot. Also, curbs your appetite and makes you feel so full! Overall a win!

Yelp
Urban Remedy is a lovely little juice shop located on 4th street in San Rafael. They have delicious pre bottled juices, smoothies, salads, and tasty snacks. I haven't had very many of their juices, but the ones that i've tried have been very good. I went in this afternoon and purchased a salad for lunch, which was delicious! I will mention that some of the items seemed a little bit expensive for what they were. For example, the spring rolls were very tiny and they cost as much as a salad. Some of the drinks with very simple ingredients were on the pricy side as well. I do love this shop and I will be back in the future! The staff is very friendly and they have many different delicious and healthy options. I love my juice!

Yelp
I have a weird love/hate relationship with this place. I never cook, ever, unless popcorn is considered cooking. And for the most part my "meals" are whatever I put down at my office. I've never been an actual meal person, more of an eat to live throughout the day. For the last few years I have gone on these sort of Urban Remedy binges - for months that is literally all I will survive on, and then I will get fed up and go months without. The downsides for me are their website which I find totally useless as whenever I try to order on it the thing goes awry, the level of plastic/glass that I feed back into the environment given that I literally can live on this stuff (no, I don't care if it is recycled, nor whether I will continue to recycle it / compost it), and the lack of variety. Most juices etc I like, but the meals are really hit and miss. I do swear by the boosts/shots (like the anti-inflammatory), as I have what is likely an unreasonable phobia about getting sick, so I down these shots throughout the day. Personally I think it works. I literally do not get the colds that everyone around me get. Honestly I often force people who work for me to drink the boosts too, and while I pay for them, I'm still not totally sure that forced shots of vitamins is legal ;) I am very sure they get sick less often though. I remember back in the day when you could walk down a street in Mexico and buy a coke/corona at one end of the block and turn the bottle back in at the other - and they'd freaking send the bottle to the plant to use it again - hence why the bottles always looked like they spent a good long time at the beach/ocean. I get that we can't do that here/now, but we need a solution to this glass/plastic nightmare. And the solution cannot be that I need to take up cooking.
