You can get it hot or iced, adjust the sweetness, choose the milk, and add toppings like boba and lychee jelly. The 14 Essential Boba Tea Shops in San Francisco Right Now - Eater SF

"The main focus at this San Francisco original is a healthier approach to tea across the board. That means house-made syrups and lots of loose leaf options to encourage mindful consumption. But, when it comes to the main attraction, the boba tea is just as much a dynamo as any other sugary competitor; try the shop’s signature Creme Brulee Boba for $6.95." - Paolo Bicchieri

Google
THE BEST BOBBA I HAVE EVER HAD. I cannot stress enough how much i love this place. I DoorDash this more than id like to admit. The creme brûlée as well as the UBE boba are some of the best drinks I’ve had in SF period. The matcha is also amazing for a boba spot (matcha snob here). Do yourself a favor and get urban ritual. I’ve been bringing my friends here and getting them hooked (spreading the boba gospel 😇)

Google
Great boba, interesting flavors, free wifi, comfy seating, friendly staff! I came in the evening and it wasn’t too crowded- could be a good place to work if you don’t mind a little noise. Sadly no bathroom. I got the black sesame mochi drink (hot) with boba- so good! I’m excited to come back and try more flavors. I appreciated all the original flavor combos- it really made it hard to choose. Edit: came back and tried one of the specialty flavors: crème brûlée (with oatmilk) and enjoyed- it had the crackly hard sugar pieces in it and genuinely tasted like creme brûlée in a drink!

Google
We had the hibiscus tea and the sesame ball. Both were delicious, though I suggest going no ice with the sesame ball drink.

Google
i got the standard milk tea, which was fine but was missing some more complex notes that i would hope to get in a black tea. they have a variety of flavors under their specialty drinks that i might be interested in trying though

Google
This is a great place to have good quality and adventurous Boba. Their menu is so different and unique, makes me want to come back again for a different flavor. I ordered a crème brulee milk tea and it was heavenly. The burned sugar in the bottom gave good texture when you chewed them with boba, but not overwhelmingly sweet. Everything was just perfect.

Google
No a fancy place but tee is great. Have tried bobba tee many placed and this is very good .

Google
Nice unique tea place in the Hayes! The drinks are not overly sweet. They deliver the drinks fast. Some people were working there and I can tell it’s gonna be cozy for them :)!

Google
Cloud coffee with regular sugar and Mango tea with coconut milk was excellent, boba was cooked perfectly.

Yelp
The price was very reasonable and the reason I decided to give it a try. I got the hibiscus tea with honey boba and it was so good. The boba was sweet, soft, and chewy. Tea was great and tasted fresh. The service was good and I got my boba in a few minutes. The ambiance was good and was very clean.

Yelp
Urban Ritual is probably one of the best boba shops in the area! I've never had a bad drink there, whether if it's a seasonal one or one of their regular ones. You order through a kiosk, and they're very quick to serve you!

Yelp
I had heard so many good things about Urban Ritual and enjoyed the Mango Sticky Rice drink at their DTSJ location, so I was extra disappointed when my Creme Brulee Milk Tea just fell super flat. Not sure if my drink was just messed up, but I ordered it 70% sweet and the milk tea portion of the drink was not sweetened AT ALL. The drink ended up super unbalanced because I'd get sweet tapioca, sweet custard, sweet torched sugar (all delicious), and then have it washed down with bitter milk. The tea wasn't even fragrant enough to flavor the milk and only its bitter notes came through. Overall: toppings were good but tea itself wasn't sweetened at all and only tasted bitter ://

Yelp
My only regret with Urban Ritual is that I did not try them sooner. I foolishly wrote them off because of their name. I'm used to the best boba places having the cheesiest names, and Urban Ritual seemed too classy. I'm happy to say I was proven wrong and that every single drink I've gotten here has been top-notch. Seasonal or classic menu, you can't go wrong. They've perfected the art of boba. Even the matcha is good and that's not their main offering! The service is very quick and most ordering is done through a tablet stand near the counter. They also offer their own app and you can order through most delivery apps.

Yelp
My favorite drink here is the Matcha Toffee: matcha green tea with classic milk and bite-sized housemade toffee brittle. The toffee brittle adds a bit of a caramel buttery crunch; it really goes well with the matcha. The downside is that the toffee brittle sometimes clumps up even when I drink it within 5-10 minutes of purchasing, so I need to use my straw to break it apart. The Urban Ritual app is convenient to use. They usually finish making the drinks faster than the estimated time stated on the app. The app also has an award system; for every 190 points, you get a free drink (up to $7.25) and if you have more than one drink in the order it will subtract the highest cost drink that is $7.25 or less.

Yelp
A cute boba shop in Hayes Valley. It is not on the Hayes Street but a few blocks away. The shop has a few tables where you can sit and enjoy. But when it gets busy, there aren't many seats available. The drink is a hit or miss sometimes. I enjoyed their boba but their unique drinks are definitely interesting sometimes. The boba itself is very tasty.

Yelp
This review is pretty delayed, so apologies if things have changed since I was last here. I decided to use the option to create a custom drink- honey oolong (tie guan yin tea), classic milk/cream, 30% sweet, lite ice. It was done within 3 mins of ordering. While it was barely sweet which was what I was intending, there was quite a bit more ice than I expected. It also may have been partly the choice of tea base that I used, but I found the flavor of the drink to be too weak and washed out by the ice plus milk. Hopefully that was just a miss and perhaps a different drink would've turned out better.

Yelp
My husband and I dropped by at around 3pm on a Sunday and while it seemed really busy, the process of ordering through the kiosk and receiving our drinks was super fast and easy! I had barely picked a seat to sit down and they were already calling our name lol! I ordered a chrysanthemum tea with lychee jelly and my husband ordered a lemon tea. We didn't try our drinks until we started walking outside and my husband noticed immediately that something was off about his drink. It was basically just regular tea with two lemon slices so we walked back. When we brought this up to the staff, they were very accommodating! They made him a brand new drink which definitely tasted far better :) Great service - thank you!!

Yelp
I came here on a weekday night to get boba to-go for me and my friend. I liked the neutral tone aesthetics of the restaurant, but the music was slightly loud for a Tuesday evening. The service was standard; after ordering, I received my orders within ten minutes. My friend and I ordered the Matcha Toffee with boba and the Strawberry Pandan Corn Milk. I enjoyed the toffee topping that went together with the matcha, which was not too strong and luckily did not keep me awake at night. My friend was interested in the Strawberry Pandan Corn Milk; we both thought it tasted more like strawberry milk and did not taste much of the pandan. I've been here several times and believe that their classic drinks are always good and hit the spot. Can't wait to visit soon again!

Yelp
Urban Ritual is one of the better boba shops in the Hayes Valley area. One of my favorite drinks to order here is the mango sticky rice. It's a simple, yet flavorful drink. The ordering process is very easy. You order on the kiosk and the staff will prepare your drink and have it out pretty quickly. You can easily make adjustments on the screen and there is plenty of seating inside to hang out or wait for your order. They have other locations throughout the Bay Area and even one near me in San Jose. They have a special drink right now which is the strawberry corn drink and it's good also. If you want simple, yet flavorful drinks, I highly recommend Urban Ritual!

Yelp
Super lowkey boba shop in Hayes Valley. There's a decent amount of seating available and you can order through self-service kiosks. My friend and I both got caffeinated drinks -- Matcha Toffee and Classic Brew. The matcha toffee was a pleasant surprise, for some reason I didn't realize that there were actual toffee bits in the drink. It seemed like the toffee bits were hard to actually drink though bc they clumped up at the bottom. The classic brew tasted exactly what it sounds like. The boba was chewy and on the better side of boba.

Yelp
I didn't fully appreciate the goodness of Urban Ritual after being stuffed with our multi-stop foodie outing the day we finished our city adventures with Urban Ritual. The next day I really did, enjoy my "I'm So Jelly": black sesame milk tea with osmanthus jelly. I meant to ask for less sweet but I didn't have to as it was perfectly sweetened. Love the milk alternatives and very innovative menu. Can't wait to go again to get more goodness and try some of the other Asian inspired flavors like "matcha love" or "lychee IPA" or a good old staple of "Hong Kong milk" tea! Located on the border of Hayes makes great walking and sightseeing into lots of shops and restaurants!

Yelp
After seeing all Urban Ritual all over IG, I had to try it. We got the creme brulee, mango sticky rice, guava pastelitos, and ube drink. The mango sticky rice was the best! Would get this one again. The ube and creme brulee drink were solid as well. The guava drink was weird and it didn't taste like guava at all. I do have to give them props for their boba because it's super bouncy and chewy.

Yelp
May 3rd 2019 - Initial Experience. Came with the boo before going to the Proxy Walk-In Theater to see the Last Race that night. However till this day, I can not find one drink that I like here. The fruit teas are definitely not worth and are watery lackluster non-sensational liquids to sip on. Thought their grape thing and other thing and that thing would great - but no. In fairness - there is one person I know who finds this place to be one of their top boba spots to which I unfortunately cannot fathom or appreciate. I think their boba balls were fine.. just regular little sacks of tapioca. - I went two months after that and then definitely another time in fall 2021.. Opinions have not changed even though I've been getting different drinks.

Yelp
Ube Creme with default rice milk is super flavorful and delicious! Added honey boba and this one is one of my favorite drinks There are real taro chunks in here so the drink quality is high. A favorite boba spot in SF My friend got some type of fruit tea and chrysanthemum jelly and didn't quite like the jelly flavor so be mindful of your own flavor preferences

Yelp
I like Urban Ritual's variety of non-caffeinated drinks & their friendly, prompt service; however, one misstep persists -- I continue to receive half a cup's worth of ice when I specify "lite ice." A minor inconvenience, but one I hope they'll remedy. As to be expected, their Creme Brûlée is sa-weet, but not to the point of being undrinkable. Soft & fresh-tasting honey boba. Highly recommended if you're looking for a drink & dessert all in one. Bae-Sil is my favorite drink here. Simple, refreshing, & the perfect balance of sweet to savory & sour elements. Contains basil strawberry lemonade mixed with strawberry syrup, lemon, & fresh basil leaves. Their Lemon Tea does have caffeine but didn't make my heart thump out of my chest so that's a plus. Slices of lemon flavor their oolong tea & golden cane sugar gives it that nutty, almost caramel taste. Good, but the tea flavor was slightly bitter for my liking. Places like Urban Ritual make it difficult for me to give up my boba shop habit. I know better than to make that a resolution, as I don't want to feel like a failure year-round with each drink order.

Yelp
I tried their Hong Kong Milk Tea with honey boba. The tea is made with a housemade blend of black teas and evaporated milk, steeped and chilled for maximum strength and flavor. However, I was disappointed that I couldn't really taste the tea leaf flavor. The upside is that the boba is chewy and enjoyable. Overall, a bit underwhelming for a tea lover.

Yelp
This place is great! There are kiosks up front to place your order. At the time, there was a special so I ordered four of their specialty drinks. Our drinks were ready within minutes. The tea from this place has a really smooth flavor which I appreciated. I didn't stay inside but there's plenty of seats available for people who want to sit and enjoy themselves.
google avatar

Yelp
Love Urban Ritual! Definitely the best boba in Hayes Valley, and also one of my favorite spots to get work done in the city since it's open later than other cafes. My favorite orders are the hong kong milk teas (where the tea flavor actually comes through!) and the strawberry milk. They cook the pearls to the right consistency, and the sweetness level is always right. There's good two-people tables to sit at here, and also a little nook for chatting. Service is fast (order at kiosk). Neighborhood staple for sure!

Yelp
* date visited: 08.30.2024 * ordered: mango sticky rice and jasmine milk tea with boba mango sticky rice had fixed sugar level so i was worried but it was super good. the rice milk and coconut milk blended wonderfully with the mango and the texture of the mango satisfied a topping craving. jasmine milk tea even at recommended 70% sugar was balanced between milky and tea flavor, and the boba was super soft/fresh i've also had the feed me ube from here that i love (it is a very heavy, sweet drink that should be treated like a sharable dessert LOL)

Yelp
My family and I were on a trip up in Northern CA and I've heard great things about urban ritual, so we had to stop by. We ordered a matcha latte, a house milk tea with boba, lychee IPA, and an another milk tea (forgot the name). All out drinks were great and the boba was perfect. Service was quick too! I would say this boba spot is comparable to those back in southern CA and would come back again when I'm in the area!

Yelp
Got the "i'm so jelly" drink which I think is new! The black sesame was really fresh but quite grainy. I love black sesame though so I didn't mind it too much. The rice milk is also a unique addition, good for lactose intolerant people :) It was my first time having osmanthus jelly in a drink, and it added an unexpected floral flavor to an otherwise super nutty drink, which was an interesting flavor combo. Drinks are about $6.50-7.25 but are a really big serving. Lots of interior seating and the drinks came out super fast! You order on kiosks at the front. Good option for late night boba.
google avatar

Yelp
Came to check this place out as it is one of the top boba places in SF and recommended by feedmeimei, but I was let down. Maybe it's because I came in late and it was an hour before closing, but I was very disappointed in the quality and taste of the drinks I bought. My husband and I got Thai tea and a special ube drink with milk and a sort of jam. I ordered my ube drink with boba and mochi but they forgot my boba which was a bummer. The drink was a let down and tasted like just milk. My husbands Thai tea wasn't so great either, tea was bitter and no creamy earthy thai taste. Maybe we came at a bad time or we chose the wrong drinks, but they weren't as great as I hoped for. Maybe we'll give them a second try another time.

Yelp
Daaaaaamn!! This is the best tea you'll find in San Fran. Oh my goodness. We came to San Fran twice this this year for a 3 and 2 day trip. We went here every. single. day! On our last day we went twice, ! Urban Ritual is a 5 star location. Get whatever your heart desires. It's all amazing- you can't go wrong. Their specialty drinks are a must try, especially the tarimisu if they have it available. The boba is incredibly fresh. I think they make fresh batches throughout the day, or maybe they are going through it that fast? Doesn't matter! It's fresh!!! Urban Ritual is our #1 stop when visiting San Fran along with ONE65 bakery. (Check my other review) Can't wait to go back. Yummmm!
google avatar

Courtney A.

Yelp
Really good boba! I got the toffee matcha and my husband got the black sesame mochi drink. The toffee matcha drink was surprisingly not too sweet at less sugar customization. I dare say normal sugar wouldn't be too sweet either. The toffee bits in the drink were good but almost more reminiscent of unsweet dalgona candy. I didn't try the boba so I can't comment on it. The black sesame was delicious. It had the perfect level of nuttiness and creaminess. The mochi in it was pleasant. I've had a few mochi drinks in the past and texture matters a lot. This one wasn't too gummy, more like a thicker whipped cream. The drinks came out fast after ordering through the kiosk tablet. The inside is very chic. Definitely a place I could study at.
google avatar

Maggie C.

Yelp
I'm here for their matcha latte - not even their special matcha toffee. This is my definition of a perfect matcha: a beautiful intense green color and strong enough where the matcha flavor comes through the milk. 50% sweetness was perfect for me. I usually am not a fan of boba, but I will get it here! It's a good texture and not too soft.

Yelp
Date: Monday, February 19th, 2024 What: Boba Tea Delivery How: DoorDash DoubleDash Time Ordered: around 1:45pm Time Delivered: around 2:15pm Delivered To: Outer Richmond Earl Grey Black Tea ($6) *Honey Boba ($0.65) *Almond Pudding ($0.65) *Grass Jelly ($0.65) *No Milk *No Sweetness (0%) *Lite Ice I hadn't had a bubble tea in a while. So when the hubby ordered lunch, I added a tea to our order. Urban ritual was never on my radar, but I found out they have almond pudding which I adore. And not many places offer it as a topping. That and almond jelly. The balls were soft and chewy. The grass jelly silky. The almond pudding slightly nutty and creamy. The tea itself was kinda weak tho. I really like strong roasted teas, but they didn't have many options of just straight up tea, so I just picked the earl grey cuz it was black. I wish it was brewed stronger. Not sure how this would hold up to milk. But hey, I'm an anomaly. I like straight up super strong tea and toppings only. Great offerings in terms of toppings. Wish they offered a roasted black or oolong tea.

Yelp
My all-time favorite boba shop in SF!! My go-to is their Matcha Toffee with boba and oat milk. I'm a sucker for crunchy things and interesting textures, and the toffee bits definitely enhance the experience and pair so well with the strong matcha flavor. I typically get 10% sweet, which is perfect since the honey boba brings back some sweetness, and I prefer my drinks on the not-too-sweet side. It comes out to $8, but it's sweet treat that I look forward to occasionally and always leaves my taste buds happy! The seasonal drinks also keep me coming back; my favorite has to be their Rice Rice Baby (genmaicha green tea with rice milk and toasted rice) which is currently on last call. The toasted rice satisfies the crunchy cravings and the rice milk goes so perfectly with the matcha. I love how it already comes with alternative dairy, so I don't have to pay extra for my normal oat milk. Try it before it leaves the menu! Ordering online is easy, and the boba's always ready in a few minutes. I just wish there was a membership or app like some other boba chains!
google avatar

Yelp
Clean, simple decor and nice staff. There are four tables and some benches available. I ordered at the kiosk and 2 minutes later my drink was ready. I ordered the feed me ube drink with rice milk and it was delicious! My sister got the crème brulee milk tea and liked it too.
google avatar

Elizabeth Q.

Yelp
I ordered the strawberry basil. Service: quick and efficient, I went on a Saturday evening and there were not many people there. I got my drink in less than 10 minutes Ambiance: there is plenty of seating available, tables for 2, and good music on the night I was there. I would come back.

Yelp
Urban Ritual has long been my go-to spot for boba takeout, and their drinks are consistently fantastic. Their online ordering system is super helpful and the wait time is never too long. However, I recently decided to sit down there to show my three out-of-town friends their drinks, but we hit a few snags. The seating layout is primarily for two, and pushing tables together is nearly impossible due to the design. This made our visit less comfortable than anticipated. We tried the crème brûlée dessert for the first time, which, while interesting with its boba inclusion, was way too sweet and sugary for our tastes. However, the drinks truly shine here. Their mango sticky rice drink is a standout, with just the right amount of sweetness and a unique texture from the rice milk. Classic options like the matcha, Thai tea, and crème brûlée milk tea are also top-notch. One recurring issue I've experienced is with defective cups. On more than three occasions, the cups were either poorly sealed or had damaged bottoms, causing them to wobble. Thankfully, the staff is quick to resolve these issues if you notice them before leaving.

Yelp
I was so impressed by Urban Ritual! I've been wanting to try this spot for forever and was so happy to finally be in the area. They have such a fun menu with a lot of options beyond your typical boba classics, so I highly recommend trying out something new. I ordered the Feed Me Ube! It was FANTASTIC. The ube taste was super rich, and the ube creme brûlée was just such a smooth, creamy, and yummy addition. I also really liked the taro chunks, which added good flavor and texture to the drink. Finally, the coconut milk and rice milk complemented the ube / taro flavors really well. The drink was definitely on the sweeter side, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. My friend ordered the Mango Sticky Rice, which tasted exactly like the dessert in beverage form. We came in on a Sunday afternoon, and all the seats were taken. However, after ordering on the kiosk, we got our drinks super quickly. Overall, I look forward to the next time I can come to Urban Ritual! There are so many more drinks on the menu that I hope to try.
google avatar

Alan L.

Yelp
I love this spot! It's the go to in the city when you want boba but not sure where. They have great flavors and the boba is always perfect consistency. The drinks are perfect sweetness also. My favorites are the Feed Me Ube and Crème Brule milk tea
google avatar

Esther K.

Yelp
Came here twice in the past month! Got the sesame drink and the ube drink and both turned out amazing! The sesame was so creamy and I really love the chewy rice on the bottom too, it's a great alternative and not as heavy compared to boba. The ube was great too, you can taste the fresh taro mash on the bottom!
google avatar

Trevis M.

Yelp
First off you can smell the amazing sweet aromas from down the street! We ordered a special seasonal non dairy drink less sweet and it came out perfect! The drink quality, ambiance within the interior and the fair prices made such a great experience. We will definitely be coming back to order some boba!
google avatar

Grace Z.

Yelp
This place has been popular for so long and im so excited to finally get to try it. I got the match toffee with oat milk and boba for $8 and it was so good. The matcha flavor was so apparent and not super sweet, and the toffee bites were an interesting addition to the drink, but I really liked it. With oat milk and boba, it made the drink perfect. It's pricey but worth the try and i cannot wait to go back again.

Yelp
Multiple user here. Making It a Ritual +'s: + Consistent quality. I order the crème brûlée $6.95 because I love the texture of torched sugar in my drink. Every time it taste as expected! + Easy to order. Use the tablet. + Sit down. Patrons can choose four two person tables or the coveted corner window spaces + Friendly. They were packed on NYD and politely noted my presence when I wanted to speak to someone Breaking the Ritual -'s: - Super packed at times. So packed they ran out of boba and had to make another batch which would take an hour - Parking blows. You need to make sure you have other things to do

Yelp
I was in the city for a day and was craving boba. The reviews is what attracted me here so I was looking forward to some decent drinks. I ordered the crème brulee milk tea and thai tea with boba. First, the thai tea was watered down. It wasn't as creamy as expected. I was especially disappointed in the crème brulee tea. The sweetness was perfect, however, the crème brulee was very piecy and "eggy." I'm aware crème brulee is made of egg but the taste was heightened. In addition, whenever I took a sip I felt like I was drinking scrambled eggs. Unfortunately, I could not finish my drink due to the texture so it was disappointing to waste money. I was overall disappointed in the drinks and had higher expectations because of the reviews. I am not sure if I would come back.
google avatar

Melody K.

Yelp
First time visiting Urban Ritual and I got their Crème Brulee Milk Tea ($6.95) since there were a lot of good reviews. It was good, a solid 4/5 stars for me. I tried my sister's Feed Me Ube and I liked her drink even more, a 5/5 stars for me. The crème burlee was made well, but I felt the Ube was more special. The boba in my Crème Brulee Milk Tea was made perfectly. It was chewy and tasty. You order from one of their two kiosks and there are several indoor seatings to choose from. Staff were very nice and attentive. Although the music wasn't quite my vibe, it was a lively and welcoming space. I would come again!

Yelp
Basically one of the best boba shops in a town with over 100+ boba shops. One of the best drinks is the creme brule boba, which actually has custard in it, as well as little bits of torched sugar which give it a crunchy texture. The honey boba is also delicious and for not being able to adjust the sugar it's not as sweet as it sounds. I love getting the creme brulee milk tea which combines half classic boba with half creme brulee. I have ordered online many times and it comes quickly and is correct every time. Recently, I went into the shop to check it out in person, which was also a good experience. They were playing music, and had a good amount of seating for a small shop. It's a cool space to stay and drink your boba or take it for a walk if you opt to visit in person! Can't recommend it enough, if you like boba and haven't tried urban ritual this is a guaranteed win!

Yelp
I love the house milk tea with boba at Urban Ritual! The drink is a classic, yet very well done. The tea is delicious. The boba is perfectly chewy and sweet. You really can't go wrong with this drink. The location has limited seating and definitely a good place to grab boba & hangout. We went after rush hours so it was very quick & easy to get our drinks. Ordering is via a kiosk.

Yelp
Really good boba Stopped by and grabbed a matcha toffee boba. Was excellent. Matcha flavor was yummy and not overpowering. Had sooid bits of toffee in it. Boba had good chew and a touch of sweetness. Was able to get less sweet which was just right for me.

Yelp
Really nice ambiance and staff! I ordered the mango sticky rice drink and it was delicious, my boyfriend ordered white grape oolong and both drinks were a 10/10! We also asked for water cups and they were more than happy to give us two cups :-) very swee

Yelp
One of my favorite boba places in town! The boba is not overwhelmingly sweet but still full of flavor. Inside is also cute and plenty of places for seating. Street parking was easy even on a Saturday! I ordered the black sesame tea - I love black sesame and highly recommend!

Yelp
If you're a bubble tea enthusiast, Urban Ritual's Crème Brûlée Milk Tea is a game-changer. Here's the scoop on why it's stealing the show: Crème Brûlée Magic: The star of the show, the Crème Brûlée Milk Tea, is an absolute delight. With boba, no sugar - a winning combo. The sweetness hits just right when you reach the crème brûlée part, making it a creamy and yummy experience. But Wait, There's More... While the crème brûlée masterpiece is worth the hype, I wish I could say the same for the other drinks. Unfortunately, they fell a bit short of expectations. In Summary, for a creamy, dreamy bubble tea experience, Urban Ritual's Crème Brûlée Milk Tea takes center stage.

Yelp
Love a good boba place in my neighborhood! Service is quick whenever i go, and the workers are super efficient. There's 2 kiosks to order your drinks when you walk in. When ordering, you're able to adjust the sugar & ice levels too. Ambiance: Cute decors. There are a couple table seatings and nooks to sit. Perfect to catchup with friends, do some work, or wait for your drinks. Ordered on different occasions: - Creme Brulee Milk Tea w/ Boba - Jasmine Milk Tea w/o Boba - Can taste the jasmine tea! - Roasted Oolong Milk Tea w/ Boba I love a good boba shop with perfectly chewy boba!! Bonus points for actually tasting the strong tea flavors in my drinks too!

Yelp
It's been a couple of months since I've had Urban Ritual and I still think of it fondly from time to time. There's no other boba shop here in SoCal that I've tried. Their mochi drinks are the best I've tried, especially the sesame mochi which is as if your drinking sesame mochi. Other shops where I've had mochi is too grainy. Urban Ritual has a smoother mochi. Their black sesame also doesn't skimp on the flavor. Their matcha toffee and feed me ube are also to die for. The matcha toffee has delicious toffee bits and feed me ube is like drinking smoother liquefied ube. No food coloring or artificial vibes. I also like their almond jelly as well. Their tea drinks are also great and strong. They do also deliver through Doordash (which is the basis for these reviews). If you're looking for a great boba shop in SF look no further. P.S. please open a location in SoCal!
