Medellín’s Third-Wave Cafes Are Changing the Colombian Coffee Scene - Eater

"Urbania, another coffee shop founded in 2016 by young entrepreneurs linking business to social and environmental causes. Along with farmers across the country, the cafe works directly with producers, victims of conflict, and ex-combatants in Antioquia. Along with earning B Corp Certification, the practices have allowed the company to expand to eight branches around Medellín." - Liliana López Sorzano

The waffle and the carrot cake were okay. I did not like the sauce on the eggs. The cold brew was tasty and the store had a pleasent aroma

Stumbled upon Urbania while walking around downtown. Will definitely be coming back in the few days we are here. Helpful staff, beautifully interior, great drinks and music. What more could you ask of a coffee shop?

Amazing iced latte and scrambled eggs with yuca waffles ⭐️. Extra fruit bowl for freshness 🙂‍↕️. They can adapt the york/egg whites number which is very nice if you’re watching your diet. Service was A1.

Had breakfast here and really loved it. Cappuccino and chocolate cake: both were amazing. Cake was sooo tasty, and the cappuccino was super smooth and made with care. The place feels cozy and super welcoming. Chill vibe, and the staff were genuinely kind and friendly, really great service. Only thing: the tip. In Colombia it’s optional, so it would’ve been nicer if they’d just asked. I would’ve said yes for sure, but adding it without asking kinda threw off the vibe a bit. Still, great spot. Would definitely come back.

Delicious coffee! Recommend by our coffee tour guide! The Brownie Affogato is amazing!

Really nice vibe on a surprisingly quiet side street, popular but not crowded. If it were near me, I’d be a regular for sure. I suggest taking Uber/taxi here, depending on how you approach, some nearby streets are difficult to cross. Recommended by Lonely Planet for its ethical sourcing (from ex-conflict regions, for environmental protection) but strangely, this isn’t visible on the menu, and the mission statement is tucked away on a small plaque in a dark corner. That seems very strange.

Great beverages. Great service. Great baked goods. Carrot Cake - 5/5 Golden Milk Latte - 5/5 Service is amazing. The bakers good are super fresh and tasty. The gold milk is the best in Medellin.
