This place is so beautiful! It has many unique gifts and items for everyone. We found this place by accident and walked away with a baking mix, spice rub, shave butter, and a laptop bag made from tires. So cool! They have really quality gifts for reasonable prices. They even have one of my favorite brands, Geometry, which they had many items from them that I didn't know existed. They gal managing the store was very nice and helpful. She wrapped all of our things very nicely. The presention of our gifts were pleasant.

We stopped in while waiting for a table at a restaurant, and we were so glad we did! This is such a cute place with some really wonderful things that I haven't seen anywhere else. There is something for every budget here, and you could easily spend a long time looking at all the things for sale. They were doing a Valentine's event today and were kind enough to offer us champagne and a little treat while we shopped, which was a really fun surprise! This place is definitely worth a visit, whether you're gift shopping or shopping for yourself you're bound to find something you fall in love with.

Wonderful store with a large array of great products for your home. The owner is really worm and welcoming and I enjoy finding new treasures each time I come back. Bought some amazing Geometry tea towels yesterday that go perfect with my remodeled kitchen. Will for sure be back.

A beautiful home goods store in New Center on Woodward with unique furniture and home goods as well as decorative accents. The team there is super friendly and helpful and I can’t wait to go back soon. There’s metered parking on Woodward Avenue right in front of the store that is easy to get in to.

Beth is amazing! She personally invited us into the store after our meal next door. The store is very inviting and has a lot to offer! Who doesn’t love a personal invitation! I guess I never put my review on google. A few months ago while Xmas shopping I came here with a friend after she saw some cards online she was interested in. The store is gorgeous with some unique items but the person I believe to be the owner was completely disrespectful. My friend elected not to buy the Xmas cards as they were over her budget and when buying something else, this woman had the audacity to ask her in a condescending tone; “oh did we not have enough cards for you?” And then went on this rant about how they’re hand printed etc as if we had insulted her. Some people aren’t rich, which you would know if you had any sort of social awareness about the neighborhood you’re setting up in. This isn’t Birmingham, it’s a developing area in Detroit and shaming people for how much they spend is NOT a good business plan. Respect goes a long way. Won’t be back.

Everything about this store is amazing! The merchandise is different and 'gotta have'; the staff is warm, helpful and fun; and it's super easy to get to! The candles are amazing, the barware is pretty and unique, the home decor items are so special and cozy. Love everything about the place!!

I was recently looking for a gift and one of my friends recommended Urbanum. I echo what one of the other reviewers said...the store is gorgeous plus it's decorated for Christmas. There are lots of home items including all types of candles, gifts for cocktail lovers, soaps and lotions, and cookbooks. I bought gifts for two friends and a gift for myself. I will definitely return in the future for more gifts and I'm sure more gifts for me. There is street parking on Woodward and surrounding streets. The store is located at the corner of Woodward and West Grand Blvd. (south of W. Grand, west side of Woodward). Happy shopping!

I am obsessed with this store. No, really, the evidence is quite compelling: -I have notification turned on so I can be the first to see any updates on social media. -I love Brigid, the owner, and think her style is quite honestly perfect. -The last time I stopped in there was an Avalon bakery pop up! What! -I never knew what a vintage vinyl floorcloth was, but now I keep imagining how they would look in different rooms of the house. -The card selection! If you haven't been here, you're missing out. I can't dish out enough praise for this shop.

The store itself is GORGEOUS. It is pricy, but that's not the problem. The problem is that whoever checked us out did not have the social awareness that this store is not accessible to all people; she literally asked my friend "oh, did we not have enough of those for you?" when she politely declined not to spend $22 on cards. This store is in a developing area and I don't think shaming people for not purchasing something out of their budget is a good business move.

If you are looking to support a FABULOUS locally owned, small business, HERE YOU GO. I love this store! I started following her online long before I visited (as I often do with many businesses). The cocktail items/gifts are my favorite and when I saw the post about the bourbon cherries, I knew it was time for another visit. The perfect spot for gifts year-round and they wrap (bag/tissue) so beautifully you do not need to wrap it.

A gorgeous home decor and gift store. Stopped in and the holiday decor was 50% off in the back area. I would come here in the months leading up to Christmas to check out their unique, beautiful decor pieces.

Outstanding service. Beautiful and versatile products. The books, toys , etc for ALL children are an exception. Susan and Sandy are knowledgeable and special.
