Urepel Jatetxea

It was our first dinner in Donostia/San Sebastian. We had amazing food experience. We took lobster salad and beef with foie gras. Our kids took shrimps and hake. Everything was delicious. Service was extremely friendly. I was very surprised as we were only guest that day. Restaurant is quite expensive

The food was good. We did the menu tasting of 69 euro per person and added the wine pairing with it, which was unfortunately a bad choice. We got two very medium wines brought to the table and that’s it. For a restaurant like this I expect a more elegant wine, which in this area of Spain shouldn’t be difficult since all the wines we had these days in San Sebastián (without asking special wines) were outstanding! I’ll add pics of the bottles we got, so you can avoid making the same mistake.

Fantastic dining experience! We reserved through The Fork and enjoyed the Menú Kubos degustation at €69—every course was exquisite, leaving us completely satisfied. Highly recommend this spot. The only thing—I left my shirt on the chair, and by the time I returned, the restaurant had already closed. Hoping the management can assist with this little issue!

Nice choice of fish and meats. You have to ask for the weekdays € 35 menu if they only give you the menu with the € 55 and € 75 options (cheeky!). Good wines, nice staff. Horrible art on the walls. Good food.

Disappointing Experience at Urepel Jatetxea We found the setting dated and worn—what might have been charming felt neglected. The food was bland and overpriced, and service was so fast it seemed everything had been pre-prepared. The broken toilet added to the letdown. In a city known for its cuisine, this was underwhelming

Very disappointing. From the small menu, 2 dishes were not available. And the wrong dish was served. Result: my husband's food was finished before in got my requested dish. We were not even offered an apology. Moreover, very expensive for what you are served. Absolutely not recommended!

Wow, amazing. The restaurant is superb, the owner lovely. Food very high quality, top wine list and service. I love it, you have to try

What a delightful experience! My parents and I had a pleasant time here and loved every bite. Would definitely recommend to others!
