Been to Turkey twice and this was hands down best kebab ever. Good quality. Meat and veggie super fresh. No “sauce” pure flavor from ingredients. 너무 맛있음…

Google
The bread is made in the restaurant and cooked just before being served as well as the meat. I did not feel any spice and there is no sauce so the sandwich taste is very natural and you can really feel the ingredients taste. i took the lamb ribs so I could chew on them since they put it in my plate. There are a lot of people and the shop is narrow so it gets crowded quickly, as such there is no cleaning the tables between customers so mine was a bit dirty.

Michael Mulvey

Google
Had the lamb! Simple, but tasty! The coals gave the lamb a pleasant flavor alongside the greens and warm, freshly baked bread. You won’t feel over full or heavy as with a doner/kebap.

Google
Firstly, I highly recommend this street-food restaurant. It's a Kurdish sandwich shop. They advertise that the meat is French-sourced and NOT Halal. This often indicates good quality meat. It showed in their delicious kebabs. There are many shops in the area that advertise halal meat..to me that is an indicator of cheap and unknown sourced meat. Most of them are not halal anyways and poor quality. The kebab here was cooked on charcoal which is not common in Paris. You could taste the bbq flavor of the charcoal. The attendants were friendly. I have had kebabs twice as expensive and not as good. I will return again and again and recommend it. And inexpensive, around €10 for the sandwiches.

Michael Pulis

Google
Very delicious kebabs! I was surprised by how much flavor is packed in here. The place is tiny so expect to have to wait outside, but it is definitely worth the wait!

Giavu

Google
An outstanding neighborhood gem, serving up some of the finest Dürüm I’ve tasted this side of the Bosporus. You can choose from minced lamb, whole lamb, chicken, or liver, all grilled over charcoal and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the food is consistently delicious, making it a top recommendation for anyone in the area seeking a quick, satisfying meal.

Raja Khuri

Google
Simple, delicious, juicy grilled Kurdish kabob wraps that need no adornment. So succulent no sauce is added but the wrap simple falls apart by the end. A little tomato and lettuce. Ask for a grilled hot pepper to bite alongside.

Sachin Sawant

Google
To each its own, when I did my research, I was really looking forward to hogging up at this food joint. What is not to like about grilled succulent meat served in a tortilla/ naan. But this place did not come up to the hype. IMHO the meat is not HQ and might be better off with some sauce. they also have a second location just few blocks from this shop, both have indoor and outdoor seating. Lunch time gets really crowded and although the staff moves quick, it is really going to test your patience. So if you are in a rush or just “Hangry” hungry plus angry then this might not be the best place for you. Bon Appetite

Yelp
Probably one of the best things I ate in Paris, no frills just a great kabob. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
We came around 4:00pm on a Thursday and this place was empty. We got the Viande Hachee sandwichs kurdes (9,00). It was hands down probably the best wrap ever. The beef was grilled over charcoal. We ate inside and the benches were really low but we enjoyed watching the master do his work. We came because it was on Anthony Bourdain's show once and it did not disappoint. The beef was really smoky and juicy. The wrap itself had some vegetables: tomato and lettuce in it and although there wasn't much sauce, it didn't really need it. You NEED to try this if you are in Paris.

Yelp
This place was amazing ! I kept getting lost trying to use google maps and I know it had to be part of Gods plan for me to find this place ! The smell led me to the restaurant and as I viewed the customers eating a sandwich I knew I had to get one. I thought it was pizza but I was told it was a sandwich and I ordered the lamb. It was hot, fresh and just so incredibly good. I went back for dinner and tried the beef - it was also to die for! I wish I could bring the entire business home - I definitely will be back ! Thank you for existing !!

Yelp
When I was living in the 10th, this used to be my favorite place to grab a quick bite. I would always bring people who visited me here because it never disappointed. Don't be discouraged by any lines, it's worth the wait. It was fun to have a local Kurdish place nearby back in 2017. On a long layover, I decided to revisit this spot (in 2022). I was happy to see it survived 2020/21 and was still in the same place with the same warm and delicious smells. Upon walking in, I was greeted by stacks of fresh and yummy smelling bread. I was able to order with what's left of my French (they're kind if you speak English too). I got my go to dish which was the lamb sandwich. Perhaps it was my five years of missing this place, but it wasn't quite as good as I remembered it being. The meat was a lot more tough. However, it was still pretty yummy. It's a very simple meal made with fresh ingredients. It's open late, so it's even better after a night out.

Yelp
It saw online that Antony Bourdain visited this place. I ordered the Lambs. He put some lamb sticks on the charcoal grill. The naan bread in the brick oven. The meat was very tender and juice. The bread was soft. You don't need the sauce. It was great with the veggies added. The neighborhood was interesting. People was nice and helpful even without speaking French.

Yelp
I was doing research about some great places to eat in Paris when I saw Urfa Dürüm. Even after walking for 40ish minutes out of my way to arrive I wasn't disappointed. This joint is small but mighty. There may be about 10 total seats...all outside...and made for kids but oddly comfortable. The staff spoke some English but I made attempts with my poor French. We ordered the lamacun wraps, a beef wrap, and a chicken. It was dinner time so we also got some beer. The total wasn't bad at all landing around 30 euros. Food is made fresh to order. We waited maybe 15 minutes. The spices and meat were so tasty. The lamacun was chefs kiss*. The chicken was okay but I didn't eat it until the next day because we ordered too much. I'd come back here again!

Yelp
After being convinced by a fashion mogul friend to turn a 2-hour layover into a 1 night stay in Paris, we were on a speed run to hit all the possible spots. Our first stop for food was Urfa Dürüm as my buddy was staying right by here. Although I was a bit skeptical as I was more in the mood for some quality Steak Frites as opposed to a Kurdish sandwich on my one and only night in Paris, he told me this was a spot Bourdain frequented. I was sold. He's a good salesman and I'm an easy sell. He also said we were short on time as we had to get to a models birthday party so... yeah, easy sell. My skepticism was even further buried into the Parisian soil when we walked into Urfa Dürüm, as they were making the doughy flat bread from scratch right in the window. My stomach was ready. I opted to hit the lamb button. It was grilled to order and grilled to perfection. It was served in that warm, miraculous flatbread with arugula, red onion, and tomato. It was absolutely delicious and satiating. We opted to eat it to go as we had places to be, although those little chairs out front looked so cool. This was a bit of an odd, eclectic neighborhood and not what you think of when think of Paris, but I grew a major affinity for it in my 18 hours or so there!

Yelp
Fantastic food, awesome service, and just a great time overall. The seating was a little tight, but that didn't matter once the food came out fresh and piping hot! The hole in the wall vibes were fantastic - loved every minute of it. I'd not call this a kid-friendly spot, per se, but we did take two kids (9 and 10), and they loved the food as much as the adults did!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite food place in Paris . When I come visit I make sure I come to Urfa Durum. I found out about this place because of Anthony Bourdain. I love walking in to the place because you get all the small of the spices and charcoal. The food is fresh and they make it once your order. I always get the beef or lamb . Can't wait to go back again .

Yelp
Voted as one of the best cheap eats in Paris, this is a great late night stop after a night out. Stop in to try various sandwiches and lahmacun, if they're available. This was my first experience into Kurdish food and it was a great meal. The food may take some time as they make everything fresh and on the spot. There will be a line when you go. We went on a weeknight and there was a wait. So expect it on a weekend. I got the chicken sandwich and my husband got the lamb. Both were great, my only comment is that they needed a sauce but it was still good without. There is not a lot of seating, so be prepared to stand or sit outside. The bathroom is surprisingly clean, though. It's very affordable! You should try it.

Yelp
Seems to have quite a reputation since the line was long with lots of people were milling about. What's quite prominent is the bread being freshly made in the oven while your meat is grilled to order. It was good, but it didn't live up to the hype. Try it if you're nearby, but not worth a special trip. Agneau: Tender chunks of lamb with a nice marinated flavor. No sauces, so you end up really focusing on the freshly made bread and veggies. Quite filling for a reasonable price.

Yelp
Small space serving Kurdish sandwiches and lahmacun pizzas. Can only seat 3 couples at a time. Can't go wrong with the grilled meat and/or pizzas. Definitely a popular spot near the railway station Gare L'est. My only complaint is there is no real seating for this place.

Yelp
Lines out the door apparantly since its super packed inside. This place serves fresh wraps as you order. It's actually quite fun to see the guy assemble multiple wraps at the same time. The dough had to be my favorite part of the meal; the lavash. It was so fresh and chewy. The only downside to this meal was that the wrap was open on both ends. The juices from the meat were dripping out. It's not the nicest area to check out in Paris but you definately want to make a pit stop here.

Yelp
I trust Anthony Bourdain's food commentary almost unquestionably, so when I saw that this Kurdish food shop was on The Layover, I knew this needed to be on my list. I enjoyed it so much the first time that I went the night after as well! There was a queue when we got there around 7, but the line moves very fast. There are a variety of Kurdish wraps and I have tried both the lamb and lamb liver. The lamb is perfectly juicy!!! I love that they don't rely on any sauces to elevate the meat and instead just use fresh herbs and spices. Every bite gave me mixed emotions: happy it was so good, sad it was one less bite to go before I was done. The second time, I had the liver, which while was good, was slightly more tough and gamey (understandably). I wish they had this in the states! Parisians are so lucky to have this shop. Not a lof of seats to stick around but the nice thing is that's it's easy and convenient to eat on the go!

Yelp
Get the beef #1! No idea how to pronounce the name, but one of the best kebab sandwiches I've ever had. Granted, I originally though that they would have it available like kebabs on a stick - which is not the case. In L.A. we call these beef Koubidehs, but here - it's just beef. Everyone here speaks French, so please bring a dictionary or have them ask the people in line to help translate - which many will. Overall, a satisfying meal that I won't hesitate to repeat if in the neighborhood again.

Yelp
My husband and I walked approximately 2 miles in the rain to get to this place, but it was BEYOND WORTH IT. I wish we had discovered it our first day in France vs. our last, but either way I'm just happy we found it. It provided us with the best meal I ate while in France. I have to admit, I'm not 100% sure what I ordered because there was a language barrier on my part, but whatever it was was amazing. I'll just refer to it as a lamb pita wrap. The lamb was really moist and literally bursting with flavor; the pita bread was perfectly toasted. It was so good, the husband and I ate our food within minutes and were debating on ordering a second pita wrap.

Yelp
Couldn't finish the chicken. Poor cuts of meat. In need of flavouring (sauce), friendly staff.

Yelp
I love little hole in the spots like this. I spotted the high reviews on Yelp and that many people mentioned that Anthony Bourdain had ate here on one of his episodes, so with those two points, I knew I had to check this place out. I love the rustic decor with stone walls and the oven in plain sight where they bake your flat bread made to order. The menu is simple; you're getting a durum, a flat bread sandwich with fresh grilled meat (chicken, beef, lamb or liver), with herbs, onions and tomato. They were out of lahmacun, so we missed out on trying that unfortunately. The sandwich is wrapped in foil and served to you. If you're eating in, just help yourself to a seat at one of the tiny tables and stools (it's the same price to eat in which is surprising for Paris). The tiny stool was so comfortable and it actually kept me in great posture. I'd like one for my house! The sandwich itself was very good. My fiance loved it! I thought it was a little dry and could have used a sauce to make it more juicy, but that's not how these are served, so maybe a durum is just not my favorite thing ever. Still, I really enjoyed our experience here and do highly recommend eating here. Do note that they're not huge, so if you're really hungry, this will not satiate you.

Yelp
I've never been exposed to Kurdish food, and likely never will, so this was a must on my trip to Paris. The restaurant is located in the really quaint 10th arr and was packed when we arrived. Although the line moved fairy slowly, they had a method that was really efficient, allowing you to order when you get in line and by the time you were at the front, you paid and we're on your way. There were several tables and. hairs out front and I believe there is space to eat in the back, but I didn't see that. We got the lamb wrap, which was really simple and delicious. The meat was a little fatty for me, but my husband loved it. There was a delicious wood grilled flavor and the bread, which they were making by hand in the front window of the restaurant, was so warm and soft. I'd definitely recommend.
google avatar

Martino P.

Yelp
Had the lamb sandwhich and thought it was delicious. The meat is cooked over coals which gives it extra flavor. YUM! It was slightly on the rare side of medium rare, which might be what some people are complaining about, but it was good to me... maybe you could ask for it to be well done if that's not good enough? Even though there was a a line out the door, service was quick. Will definetly be back to try the other options.

Fan L.

Yelp
Excellent food, just wish there were more tables...

Yelp
Ok... if you don't stop here for a bite while you're in Paris, it's your own damn fault! The food here is amazing! We ate here twice... and if we weren't leaving tomorrow morning, I'd eat here again! Do NOT miss the experience! The fun 'Soup Nazi' service is great!
google avatar

Yelp
This place was suggested to me by a friend when my husband and I were in Paris and let me tell you!!!! If you are ever in Paris go here! Super cheap and delicious. Their food is beyond amazing plus, It's made right in front of you so you know it is fresh! It does get really packed considering the restaurant itself is super tiny but overall, the best Kurdish spot in Paris!
google avatar

Yelp
Given the great reviews of this place, I was so disappointed with my experience here. We waited in line for awhile, but it wasn't bad because we had fun watching the guys make the sandwiches. It was even cool enough to ignore the fact that they made sandwiches for at least 10 people who walked in after us before they made mine. I ordered the lamb sandwich. The one positive of the sandwich was that the flavors of the additional ingredients were pretty clean and fresh. For example, the parsley was fresh and delicious. On the other hand, the lamb was awful. It was filled, and I mean FILLED, with tough, fatty, grissly, nastiness. I literally couldn't chew most of my bites of the sandwich. When you don't put sauce on a sandwich or other dish, the star of the dish (in this case, the lamb), has to be perfect. It has to shine. Here, it was gross. Absolutely awful sandwich. Never get the lamb sandwich.
google avatar

Susan K.

Yelp
This is by far the best decision of my Paris trip. Like the others, Anthony Bourdain led me here. Even he, himself, was brought here on the show and it was his best decision. I ordered the lamb and for me this meat is either a hit or a miss. I can't stand it being super games. But this kebab wrap was the most juiciest, most tender and non gamey lamb I've ever had in my entire life. I love trying new things and this place did not disappoint. Yes, the area seems a little sketch (saw a homeless guy pull down his pants and another guy straight up peeing on the street). But it was worth the trek. I will never forget my experience. This explaining the reason I went back for a 2nd and tried the chicken, also pretty good.
google avatar

Seung Eun C.

Yelp
Anthony Bourdain told me to visit so i did and I'm happy to say that we loved the food. The flat bread is freshly baked and the proteins are grilling as you walk in. You pick your meat and they roll it in veggies inside the bread. it's flavorful and quite light. Delicious. The place is legit.. I'd highly recommend if you're in the area.
google avatar

Justin T.

Yelp
On a recent trip to Paris we visited Urfa Dürüm (thanks to a recommendation from a certain celebrity chef). We both ordered the lamb sandwich which blew us away with the freshness, quality and simplicity of the ingredients. The bread was fresh from the oven which added to the flavours even more. There is not much space to sit down but don't let that put you off. Grab an inexpensive lunch here and eat as you explore the wonderful city around you!
google avatar

Yelp
One of the street food in central parts of Paris that is not so cheap et I mean that it is not so speacial

Yelp
Lamb rolls are tasty. Everything is made to order so you'll have to wait a few mins. Staff speak passable English.
google avatar

Yelp
I came here for my love of Anthony Bordain (rip) and his recommendations. I am saddened by the loss of a culinary genius who through his eyes I saw other parts of the world. Food was fresh and simple and very tasty. I can eat here everyday, anytime. I did like the sitting stools, very different; I will like one please. I had the lamb. My friend feared that it will be minced or thinly sliced like other kebab places and I kid you not when I say it was chunks. Real lamb chunks. AMAZINGGGG. Can other food eatries take note?
google avatar

Gregg V.

Yelp
Worth the trip to this place. We tried the lamb, chicken, and beef. All three were great, but I love lamb so that was my favorite. They put a seasoning on that can be pretty spicy for some. Might want to ask for it t be left off or reduced if you're not into spicy food. It adds a lot of flavor to these, so try not to leave it off.

Yelp
Pretty good little kebab operation here on Rue Faubourg/Saint Denis. Everyone has a specific job on the line, pumping out these delicious kurdish sandwiches. One guys job is to hold a hairdryer in the direction of the meat skewers while they sit on the coals. The team communicates well. Ocassionally the system breaks down and the cashier guy ends up yelling at the guy at the other end of the bar. There is a tomato prep/busser in the back that frequently comes out to restock food or do the odd table bus. They are generous to the homeless. I recognized a man riding the metro the day before. He came by and they gave him a sandwich. I recommend the lamb and chicken. The pizza looking dish I could do without. The self serve Dohou yogurt drink at the end of the bar is very good.
google avatar

Nuna C.

Yelp
Tiny little place, and there's a reason why Anthony Bourdain taped here, thankfully that didn't change anything. It's all cooked to order, smells like delicious rendered beef and lamb chargrilled fat in here. I mean you can't ask for much more. You sit on tiny chairs that are oddly comfortable, you're in an arrondissement that feels like non-hipster Brooklyn, pour water out of metal carafe, and thank your gods that you found this place because it might change your life. If you don't eat like this when you travel then why the fuck do you travel? I want my experiences to be this place, make it feel like nothing else yet similar and heartfelt. I'll be there every time. Don't miss it or you're missing out. TIP: the hours and days posted aren't always accurate.

Yelp
Amazing Kurdish food. Please disregard the poor reviews that people gave. They ordered the vegetarian wrap. Nothing against vegetarians, but you shouldn't come into a restaurant with skewers of meat on display and expect good vegetarian food. Everything here is freshly prepared and the grilled meats are amazing. I ordered the grilled lamb and it was super flavorful and juicy. The fresh veggies inside were a perfect compliment to the grilled, meaty flavor. The bread they use is amazing and it's what really makes the meal. Soft with a slight, thin, baked crust on the outside, and not too thick that it overpowers the rest of the food. They prepare them on a large platform in the kitchen and cook them in a wood oven. Location is not so touristy, so don't expect much English to be spoken. The food was really cheap and my only regret was that I didn't try more on the menu! Would definitely come again.
google avatar

Yelp
Anthony Bourdain did not disappoint. My husband is a huge fan of Bourdain's and he wrote down this place for us to try in Paris. Turkish food in Paris may sound strange but honestly, I loved this much better than most of the food we tried in Paris! We ordered two lamb wraps and a lahmacun. Each lamb wrap is made up of three kebabs. It's €8 each. The lahmacun was €2.50. Everything was so heavenly delicious!!! The lahmacun was made into a wrap filled with vegetables. Mmm very refreshing. The lamb wrap on the other hand is on a totally different level! The lamb was tender and juicy, with a fantastic just grilled smokey taste. It was soooo good that we got another two "to go" (I ate mine on the spot). Definitely would come back. In comparison to the price and quality of food in Paris, this is totally worth it!
google avatar

Yelp
oh Anthony Bourdain! I would follow you anywhere around the world.... this time you led me to this kebob place on a sketchy street in Paris. I drooled as i watched your eyes roll up in ecstasy as you took bite after bite of Urfa Durum's kebobs in your Paris episode of the Layover. These weren't any kebobs. The bread hand-rolled by the nice lady near the window, the lamb and beef grilled to order. In between mouthfuls of kebob, you raved about Paris' 10th arrondissement - how "hip" and "cool" it was, and how far off the beaten path it was. And so I came to Urfa Durum after a ten dollar taxi ride, and I sat exactly where you sat, and ate my kebob...then crickets. No life revelations or fits of foodie ectasty. The kebobs had a nice smoky flavor from the char-boiled grill and the fresh flat bread was warm and soft. I preferred the lamb over the beef, and the lahmacun over both. The lahmacun is a flat bread with meat baked on top. I experienced a little bit of happiness eating this right out of the oven.
google avatar

Angelo B.

Yelp
The bread is freshly made, and really tasty. I really liked the lamb quality too. Overall, its a great kebab. I would have preferred a little more meat though, but definitely would return if I was in the area.
google avatar

Rad H.

Yelp
Amazing lamb sandwich, very fresh meat in barbecue style... I will come back to this place in a lively mixed area. They need to make an XL version of this or I will get two (pricy option) Trop bon miam
google avatar

L T.

Yelp
Maybe the experience is just different if you eat meat? My husband and I ordered two vegetarian wraps, and they were unremarkable. Nothing bad, but seriously lacking in flavor. In fact, we were so disappointed in our wraps, after we finished we actually had a second lunch at KeBox down the road. On the other hand, I appreciated that the wraps are inexpensive. And yes, you should know that depending on which approach you take to get to this restaurant, the Chateau d'Eau metro stop is... intimidating. From what I understand most of the people around the exit are just trying to entice you to visit their beauty shop, but if you are a female traveling alone I would not come via this metro.
google avatar

Gizzelle S.

Yelp
Worst food I had in Paris. I love middle eastern food and did not live to my expectation. The lamb was chunks and not cooked well. Workers were nice. Would not recommend for tourists.
google avatar

Kim H.

Yelp
MUST VISIT WHEN IN PARIS!!!! The wraps are uber delicious and made fresh. I tried the chicken, lamb and beef wraps--my favorite was the chicken. It was crispy and tender...just perfect! The wrap is a good size, and didn't make me extremely full. It's a good mid-day snack if you're feeling a little hungry. Worth every penny :)
google avatar

Marta N.

Yelp
Sooo good, I will say though my friend and I walked up the Metro steps and were immediately accosted by street vendors, and I actually mean they were in our faces and grabbing at us to try and sell us weaves. Just a heads up about the neighborhood. Once we arrived though the food was so good and well made and people were very nice and helped us decide. We ended up trying three and splitting them so we could try the beef, lamb and chicken.
google avatar

Yelp
I love this whole in the wall. You can order your durum to go or to eat in their tiny little room and outdoor seats. And you can watch you them prepare your food including rolling out the fresh dough, baking it, grilling the meat (including the hairdryer - don't ask me why), and wrapping it all up. It's such a simple meal, but tastes very good: wrap, lettuce, tomato, onion, cilantro, salt & pepper, + meat. But it goes very well together. I've been to this place twice over the past 2 weeks now. I've had the agneau (lamb) and viande hache (sliced meat) - both are very good and a great value at about 7,50E and 6E respectively. I'll definitely be coming back~

Yelp
Urfa Dürüm is a delicious Kurdish find in the city of Paris. Known for its homemade and baked to order flatbreads, it's a fantastic choice for lunch. I enjoyed watching them prepare my wraps every step of the way. I ordered a few wraps (agneau- lamb, viande- beef, et poulet- chicken). I highly recommend the agneau (lamb) wrap! Each meat wrap contains inside: salad, tomatoes (you can pull them out there are only 2/3 pieces), and onions. Not sure what the veggie wrap consists of. Unfortunately, UD doesn't sell drinks with the exception of their house drink- a Kurdish speciality. So you'll have to bring your own or buy one at one of the other lunch places nearby. If you have never been here before it may be very confusing to order. Here are some steps to help guide you: 1. Figure out exactly what wraps and how many you want (lamb, chicken, beef, or vegetarian) prior to going to the place. 2. Ignore the line... Pass everyone and go directly to the person rolling and baking the homemade flatbreads in the window. 3. When you get to this person, tell them what wraps and how many you want. (Note: If you are in a group- make one order if you are paying together OR if you are paying separately each person should make their own order.) 4. Go directly to the back of the line and wait. You don't have to pay until later. You'll see that the line is only for people who have ordered, and you are served in this order. 5. When you get inside, someone will ask you to repeat your order. They will tell you the price and you can pay. They will also ask you if it is for here (ici: pronounced "E-Sea") or to go (emporter). The order of this step varies. 6. You receive your order and you're another happy customer. Enjoy!

Yelp
I was hungry. This place was starred in my map. Took the metro. Line was not long. Watched them make the wrap by scratch. Watched them grill the meats. Watched them prepare my wrap. In mouth it goes. The shell was chewy and fresh out of the oven. The meet was grilled to perfection. Could use some type of sauce to balance the dryness but overall it was

Yelp
Urfa Durum is easily accessible by Paris metro (Station: Château d'Eau) and definitely worth the trek away from touristland. We got sick of the typical chicken and potato tourist-trap restaurants and were super excited to venture here. This neighborhood is eclectic and diverse with a multitude of ethnic shops, funky mom and pop stores, and grungy cafes to explore. As others have mentioned below, walk immediately to the person rolling the flatbread once you have decided what you want to order. Afterward, you'll join the line to wait for you food and pay for your meal. The wraps are tasty but I do wish they incorporated some sauce or dressing. Our order for 9 people (yes, we definitely did not find seating here) included all the various wraps and I'd say 'agneau' / lamb was the best with 'viande' / beef coming in second place. Chicken was a bit too dry especially considering there was no sauce in the wrap. I probably won't come back here when I visit Paris again, but definitely something I'd recommend to any first-time tourist in the area!

Yelp
My first time having Kurdish eats and it was delicious. My boyfriend and I were in Paris for about a week and I was trying to find a variety of good food for us to try. I found this place via Yelp (and the mention of Anthony Bourdain being here) and it did not disappoint. We got a beef and a lamb wrap. I loved the beef! As other Yelpers have mentioned, the neighborhood can feel intimidating. It isn't clean and there's a bunch of people just "hanging around."

Yelp
Contrary to what the reviews have been, the price was not cheap (maybe cheap for Paris standards?) and had bad cuts of meat.. we ordered the lamb And chicken.. which had big chunks of fat in the lamb and chicken was poorly marinated.. wish it had some more tanginess to make up for the greasy taste.. the wrap also was small and not much veggies.. The area around can also be daunting (many people strolling and watching you like a hawk) so best to avoid area close to station chateau de eau. I would not recommend this place, would not be a great place to visit as a tourist..

Yelp
Finally the Adana I have missed! Though I don't know how to distinguish between Turkish and Kurdish food precisely, as a Turkish person I can say it was the closest lamb wrap (with delicious spices of course, and onion-sumac-parsley triad is a must) I could find in Paris that resembles the ones we actually have back home. Of course the real tradition to have a long table full of mezes (aubergine salad, red pepper etc.) and the drinks, ayran or even better, şalgam (turnip juice). The insides are pretty small as other yelpers have pointed out, so it might be a better idea to order for take-away.
