U.S. Restaurant

They have many menu items but they don't mention the date and time they are available. They explain it only when we prep for order. Some dishes are available only on Saturday and Sundays such as Fum Biriyani. Better if they mention the time table also in the menu. Normal service charge is 10% but hhey charge 18% for much less service.

We came here really hungry and the experience was very disappointing. We had to wait a long time just to place our order, and even then, more than half the items on the menu weren’t available. We initially ordered 1 rotti mutton kothu and 1 string hopper mutton kothu, only to be told later that string hopper kothu wasn’t available. So we changed the order to 2 mutton rotti kothu, which took another 20 minutes to arrive. The food itself was terrible, it tasted old, cold, unappetizing & had strands of hair too. To make things worse, the curries only came after we had already finished the dishes. Service was poor, cups were barely clean, and the plates had a bad smell as if they hadn’t been washed properly. I gave 1 star out of goodwill, but I truly hope others get a better experience than we did.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely US restaurant in Jaffna. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing and authentic Jaffna flavours – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. My absolute favourite is Seafood Nasi Goreng. The best meal we had in a while.Highly recommend!

There are take away outlet, inside dine in area and fast foods area also.very beautiful place.when we are visiting there they celebrate a birthday party.that mean you can celebrate parties also in there.gocery shop also available.there more dishes to eat and very good staff there.very friendly special thing is this is tamil hotel but they know sinhala very well so we had no issue in there.actually portion also enough for one person.they said that there are 18% service charge but they include service charge is Rs.600 it is very low than actual service charge.thank you us hotel.if you come jaffna choose us hotel don't worry.in front of the hotel there is baptist church.park also available. We had high expectations at first but this restaurant crushed everything. Firstly, the food was not great. The biriyani was dark and burnt. There were unnecessary items inside it. The kothu roti was suprisingly good. Normally its the kothu roti that gets spoilt in big restaurants. But heyho. The butter naan and mutton curry was not impressive either. The naan stank! The butter smell was awful and there were chunks of butter unmelted. The curry was average, nothing to be impressed by. The masala dosai was truly disgusting. The 4 sizes of the plate were chipped. A glass was cracked. What quality and Care is this? Are they trying to be cheap by giving broken things to their customers. We told the staff about this and they didn't give a refund so a lot of money wanted. The wait is 20+ minutes long. I AM NOT SATISIFIED. For 7 people, it was Rs 12500. The toilet were not Good either. Taps had holes that sprayed water. I got wet. A lot of the Lights weren't working property and some were dim and flashing.

I had the Chicken noddle and Beef noodle. Chicken one was better as the beef was quite fatty. Both dishes tasted good though. Service was fast, no waiting at all.
