Uwe & Uli - Zuhause bei uns

This location was recommended by our business partners and once we were around, we decided to go there and give it a try. We combined it with a birthday dinner. The restaurant is good to reach in the heart of Usingen within a beautiful old/traitional house. The service was very attentive and very friendly. Wine recommendations fit well to our dishes. Starters were a variation of butter and bread with beef carpaccio and vegetables. Next course were a soup of asparagus cream and a salad with popped amaranth. Main dish consisted of lamb rack with mushrooms, Entrecote with mushrooms and onionrings, fish with strawberry/pepper risotto, and calf snitzel. All dishes were very tasty, well spiced and the lamb jus was close to perfection. All ingredients are local and fresh as well as high quality. We loved the plate decoration and attentive service. For special occasions or just a beautiful Dinner with friends we definitely recommend this location. We'll be back 😉 Unfortunately the upper floor where the toilets are, is not accessible for disabled due to the historic staircase.

Amazing place in Usingen with revisited German and European dishes. We had a dégustation menu of 4 plate and a bottle of German wine. It was all perfect and the service keeps up with the place high profile. We will come back!

I had always heard amazing things about the food at Uwe & Uli, so I was eager to try for myself on a visit from the UK - it did not disappoint! Wow. You can tell every single dish is thought out and perfected, there was not one thing I wouldn’t try again. The service is impeccable, the staff are so attentive, and the food is delicious. I cannot wait to go back! Hopefully, there will be a Uwe & Uli opening in the UK, one day!

A strong experience in a grounded premium environment worthy of a historic town house like this - making it a perfect location for off-site meetings or special private dinners. Great attention to detail both in service and on the table. Recommended!

Dorade was nice as well as the schnitzel. Friendly waitress. Wine selection is good. Plus they seem to have special caviar selections.

Best dinner in a long time, excellent food, very good wine list, great presentation and perfect service. A must go to in the Rhein-Main area.
