Uzbek Corner Queensway

This is such a cute little spot, very tucked away inside the Bayswater shopping centre. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, and the customer service was really good. The food didn’t take too long to arrive, which was a plus. They also serve tea in different flavours, and it was genuinely unique. I’ve had tea in many places, but this one was very different, which I really liked. That said, the menu is quite meat-heavy. My friend, who is vegetarian, struggled to find enough options, so we ended up ordering something small and leaving. I also don’t eat beef or pork, which limited my choices. I think pure vegetarians or those with dietary restrictions might find it difficult here. However, if you do eat meat, there are plenty of dishes to choose from.

Oh my goodness — I can’t begin to explain how fantastic and authentic the food is! I craved my family’s home cooked Uzbek food and wasn’t sure what to expect but it was like my Babushka was in the kitchen cooking. I almost cried from happiness — the service and food is FANTASTIC.

What a find! It takes a while to discover this place - the location is obscure - but the food absolutely makes up for it. Delicious, freshly-cooked food, generous portions and fabulous service. Soup, main and one side salad to share and you have a whole meal. No alcohol helps keep the price down, but the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the location. Great fun!

Uzbek Corner is a tiny, family run treasure. Every dish feels like a heartfelt, home cooked meal absolutely delicious and authentic. The space is incredibly snug, just a handful of tables, which only adds to its genuine charm. I’m already dreaming of my next visit to try something new from their wonderful menu. Just make sure that you make reservation before you go there. 🤗

Tucked away in Queensway is a hidden gem - some of the best Central Asian (Uzbek) food you can find. Dishes are more delicately flavoured but are still incredibly delicious. Their Borscht was warm and comforting, perfect for the weather and converted me, someone who isn’t a huge fan of beets. The Laghman was also just as heartwarming and earthy, with perfectly cooked noodles. Their Somsa was beefy and very more-ish. Highlights however are their Plov - a rice dish with carrots, sultanas, lamb and served with pickles, and their Honey Cake, which the owner said was made by his wife and tasted not too cloyingly sweet. The service was kind and attentive. The setting was a bit tight, but this was well-worth the trip down to try.

Excellent and delicious 😋 food. It was yummy - the Uzbek 🇺🇿 dumplings were the best - well seasoned and just great. The black tea was really nice and the atmosphere was great - the music and person serving was so friendly and very welcoming. Would highly recommend this restaurant in Queensway and will be going back again.

Loved everything about this place. I called 1 he before closing and he welcomed us to come. Arrived to a reserved table and a warm welcome! Delicious plov with great pickles, manti also great and kabob served with real homemade fries.

We had an amazing experience at Uzbek Corner in London! The hospitality was absolutely outstanding – we felt so warmly welcomed from the moment we walked in. The only small challenge was finding the place at first, but we were determined, and it was absolutely worth it! The food was incredible. Truly authentic Uzbek cuisine that blew our minds – every dish was incredibly delicious, full of rich flavors and prepared with great care. It felt like a warm, heartfelt, and genuine dining experience in every way. Everything was just perfect. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and a soulful atmosphere. We’re definitely coming back!

Tucked away within the D lane of the Queensway market is a little gem for Uzbek and Russian food. Such was the popularity of the place, we had a half hour wait at 5 in the afternoon, but the staff was very polite and apologetic, and offered to call us by phone when a table opens up. The great service continued throughout our meal. Which consisted of: 1. Noxat shurva - a flavorful soup consisting of lamb, chickpeas and carrots 2. Manti - steamed dumplings filling with lamb and onion, served with generous amount of sour cream, butter and dill 3. Pelmeni - a Russian version of dumpling, also with mince lamb 4. Plov - rice dish with fall-apart lamb, carrots served with a side of pickled veggies. The best of the lot Prices are extremely affordable given its prominent location within London.

We took 2 different buses,and walked to eat here and enjoyed the Uzbek food tremendously. Service was poor, prices were outrageous. Instead of charging 1.5 English pounds, he charged us 4.7 pounds. Added 10 pounds for service, and looked me in the eye and lied. Will never go back or recommend this business.
