Ramadan 2022: Where to Eat Iftar and Suhoor in London | Eater London

"Uzbek Corner is a halal Uzbekistani restaurant located inside Queensway Market, near the northwestern corner of Kensington Gardens. The qozon kabob served with raw onions and chips are stunning, while the manti, an Uzbek version of an xxl dumpling, is juicy and a fitting vehicle for the sour cream it comes served with. Open for iftar." - Maazin Buhari

Amazing hole-in-the wall gem with wonderful staff—they treat you like family. Very kindly accomodated our group of two families, made excellent menu suggestions, and provided lots of commentary on the foods, as it was all of our first time enjoying Uzbek cuisine. The food was amazing! We will definitely return.

Such an unassuming place when you walk in, but we were kindly greeted and given a table. This was our first introduction to Uzbek cuisine and it was absolutely incredible. Exactly what I love about food, simple, pure ingredients, freshly prepared. After an awful 11 hour travel day this place felt like a welcome home. Whenever I will be in London again, save a table for me!

The big surprise is the manti, it looks like two rooms in one, and it has diced lamb, I think. I usually don’t expect any tasty dumplings, or perhaps I’ll say I am tired of dumplings, and it’s really hard to find interesting dumplings. Yet this is it. Suppose I come again, manti is must-order. The soup and noodles are good try, by the way.

Tried Uzbek Corner in London and loved it! I had Noxat Shurva, Plov, and Qoson Kabob—all delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, not too strong, but perfectly blended. The place feels like a slice of Uzbekistan, and the staff were super friendly. I’ll definitely be back to try their Manti (Uzbek dumplings)! Highly recommend for authentic Uzbek food in London!

First time having Uzbek food and won’t be the last here. Fresh and flavourful plov and a hospitable service. Looking forward to come back and try more!

Very friendly personal, Nikmat was helpful and suggested right plates for us. We had tasty food and sweets: enjoyed lamb and beef based soup, spicy carrot salad and beet and potatoe salads, lamb and potato chips and Manti, and the honey cake - very recommended. As one of us is vegetarian, we asked for the pumpkin Manti. It was fresh, tasty, and feeling. We will be happy to be back.

Uzbek Corner is a real hidden gem, this was our first time trying Uzbeckistan food and we really enjoyed all of the dishes we had. Great value and delicious home cooked food. Very friendly service - a must try if you want something different in London! Thanks again 😊 Ashley and Ryan.

Uzbek Corner London is a hidden gem offering authentic Uzbek cuisine in a cozy setting. The service is warm and attentive, with a friendly atmosphere. The menu features delicious traditional dishes like Manti, Pelmeni, Somsa, and Plov, all bursting with rich flavors. The Honey Cake dessert is a must-try. Though tucked away inside Queensway Market, the journey to find it adds to the charm. If you’re looking for an authentic and memorable Uzbek dining experience, this is the place to go!

Yelp
We took 2 different buses, and walked to eat here and enjoyed the Uzbek food tremendously. Service was poor, prices were outrageous. Instead of charging 1.5 English pounds, he charged us 4.7 pounds. Added 10 pounds for service, and looked me in the eye and lied. Will never go back or recommend this business.
