20250324 A small stop but I love this place probably because I like onion! Got great view, a few nice onions to take photo with and a lot of onion goods to buy. It was our third stop with these kind of goods but it was the biggest.

May 19, 2025 A must-visit on Awaji Island with spectacular views of Shikoku and several giant onions as photo ops. So many quirky onion goods to buy as souvenirs!

If you drive and have enough time then can consider to come here. It is very far and at the end of the awaji island. View is good but no need to purposely come here. Many local visited here and queued for the overpriced onion burger. Many cars over the weekend and jam to enter the car park

A must if you are in Awajishima. The view on Shikoku is beautiful and the restaurant on the 2nd floor is very good with a very nice view (I advise you to directly go there and register yourself, you can then follow the waiting time on your phone). As for the activities, it is mainly just pictures and a nice crane game that cost 500yen, which you will still receive onion whether yo win or not. I STRONGLY advise you to go there at the opening as it is just too crowded starting 10:00.

A hilltop where can oversee the bridge from a distance. Free parking. The souvenir shop sells lots of “awaji onion” related products. Onions planted in this area are more sweet and less spicy. The hamburger booth next to the parking lot is famous in Japan, so I had to wait in a line for 20 mins to enjoy this gourmet. Overall it’s worth to spend few hours at here if you never came before.

Fantastic place with lots of onions! Amazing sights and lots of souvenirs to browse. We spent more time than expected here. P.S For those planning to cycle up, use the route recommended by Awaji Island Tourist Asscociation instead of google maps

Great views of the bridge onto Shikoku. And a good amount of food options, gifts and information about the island and bridge construction.

This place has some pretty good view of shikoku island and the kobe mainland side. Has shops selling stuff and food but a bit packed
