V & E Tree Service

I've not actually had them do my tree work yet, but they've already earned my business with integrity and helpfulness. I requested a quote for work on some fruit trees that I know nothing about - they could have easily quoted me a bunch of pruning or shaping, but instead Eric gave me a very thorough explanation of the possible problems and what I could do about them. When I asked if he could still give me a quote for future use, he recommended that I make the changes he suggested and then he could come back to see if their work was needed - again he didn't offer me anything I didn't need and continued to explain details of how these trees grow and what I can change to improve their health.

V&E did a fantastic job on my pines! After our last day of strong winds and rain I was concerned that the foliage was a little too heavy and sure enough, while they were trimming, Eric called to let me know I had a lot of broken branches up top! I was lucky that they got me scheduled as quickly as they could!

I have used V&E Tree Service for many years on several properties. We agree on the start date and they service my trees. They are licensed & insured, which is a great asset, and provides peace of mind, when having contractors on your property. They are not the most expensive nor are they the least expensive. Their pricing is consistent with their industry. Their tree work has been consistent year after year. Their machinery, like all tree service companies, is very loud. The trees on my properties are Japanese Elms. They grow fast, become very large and are very messy in the fall. One tree was planted in 1958 and the other in 1968. Both are in excellent shape and health..... If the cost of tree maintenance and loud equipment is too much for your wallet & ears, remove your trees and install a pool. The team came on time and we're very professional. In no time at all they took out our giant willow tree and ground down the stump. They had come out earlier and assessed that the tree was not doing well and we need to removed at some point soon. Cutting down the tree we looked and saw the inside was dead and taking it down had definitely been the right call. They went above and beyond, my daughter was heartbroken to lose our tree and they gave her a piece of the wood shaped like a heart. Would definitely recommend them.

believe or not walked over there to see if there was hiring. this company has been around the neighborhood for years now. great customer service, great prices as well. there usually stacked with wood, haven't seen them run out of shortage and there very welcoming. well get pictures as soon as i can

One of their trucks hit my husbands honda civic that was parked a couole years ago and they did a hit and run. People took pictures of the truck before it left. They didnt even stay to help with the damages

This is a classless operation. They started their chain sawing at 7 AM on a Saturday morning just outside my retirement community called Hillcrest Village. Yes, it is legal to do so. No, it's not cool to wake up 400 people. I told the foreman, who was up in a tree, that there were 400 people on the other side of the wall that he had just woken up. He told me "It's not my problem." So I phoned the company and was greeted with an automatic phone messaging service that would only accept a recorded message because, you guessed it, nobody was in the office. They were all home sound asleep.

Iam very happy with their service. Truly professionals A+. And very impressed with foreman mr. Oneil true example of a hard-working leader. I recommend this tree company for anyone looking for great prices and exceent work

This company is what excellent service is all about. First of all, the did not charge me $250 to evaluate my tree and give me an estimate, like other companies. My Liquid Amber had a heavy branch that was in jeopardy of breaking off, it had a few, small, dead branches, and it needed to be shaped and thinned. It now looks wonderful! They did an amazing job! The workers were very professional and the price was reasonable. (Don't get me started on the $3000 the other tree service I got an estimate from, wanted to charge me!). So if you want a good job at a reasonable price by professional, nice people, look no further!

Ed and his crew at VE Tree service have been taking care of our Allepo Pine for 25 years. They are so professional and when finished, there is no sign that anyone was ever there. Every needle is picked and no other plants bothered. Thanks, Ed, Ashley and crew for great work again this year!

Absolutely the best tree service I have ever dealt with. Ed and V&E did a major multiple tree removal and tree topping at my industrial property. Everything was incredible from start to finish, and the price was very fair. Ed recommended just what needed to be done. He is a nice guy and his crew is totally professional and efficient. I am V&E's customer for life.

This review is not for tree trimming or having a crew come out to my house. This review is for the awesome staff at the yard on Batavia in Orange. This is where I get all my firewood. The girls in the front office are super easy to talk to. I can get the back of a 2500 truck filled with wood for $75 The guys out in the yard do all the work. All I have to do is back up to the racks and they load every piece. The guys are friendly and dont just throw the wood in the truck. It is stacked and placed nicely so when it needs to be off loaded it makes it much easier. 5 stars around for these guys.

Living in Orange, I had been aware of V&E Tree Service for many years and didn't call them first because I thought they would be too expensive. We had contacted several other companies first to remove my 4o year old cypress's. Vic and his team not only had the best price but his experienced crew came in and got busy and got the job done. We had a pool 6' away and it wasn't easy. We had no idea how many cypress we actually had until they were taken out. It turns out there were 18 of them at least 40' along a 35' length wall. Again the professional crew did a fantastic job of removal and stump grinding. They also took care of another stump for me that another company was unable to get out. I highly recommend V & E for your tree needs.

Great crew did a great job on our 50+ year old avocado tree. And, they did an outstanding job cleaning up when done. Price was very reasonable. Very pleased!

Gave me a Estimate I tried to negotiate a better deal I was told that "Unfortunately we are unable to come down in price. We had our Consulting Arborist on staff give us a second opinion on your job and after much review we will be declining to do your work." Talk about going back on your word!!! Thanks Dude!.

I have used them for three times and will again for another property. Estimates were lower than uninsured outfits. Good communication and great cleanup. I even had some of the stump grindings left in a neat pile for mulch.

Very happy with the work done by this company. I called for a tree removal estimate and a very friendly and knowledgable estimator came out to meet with me. Two workers arrived on the day and hour when I was told they would be there. The workers were friendly, fast, and professional. The job was completed quicker than I anticipated and the area was cleaned up prior to them leaving. Very impressed! This is the company you need to call!

I want to express my gratitude and appreciation of the fine work done by V&E's crew, at our homesite renovation. We had an approximately 50ft pine right in the middle of the front of the property with a 25ft Mulberry on the parkway that needed to be removed, as well as a rubber tree in the backyard. We also had a tall Melaleuca tree whose branches were so overgrown that they completely covered the electrical pole and wires next to it in the back corner of our yard. I specifically called V&E because I saw they had yelp photos with their crane equipment. I planned to use the mulberry for firewood, and pine for lumber, so I needed a service willing to cut the trunk into at least 10ft sections. I spoke with 5 local services, and they weren't willing to do that even though 2 of them had crane equipment. I spoke with 3 other services from about 25mi+ away, and none of those were interested in coming that far out to handle logs that would be close to a ton. I finally spoke with Ed of V&E, and he didn't even hesitate at my request. He went out and had an estimate for me by the next day. He assured me it was no problem, and they'd be able to handle the job. The estimate he gave me was very reasonable considering my unusual request for the trunk logs. However they were already booking for November with their regular customers, but the office manager Ashleigh assured me that they would look into their schedule and see where our job could be fit in, which would be tough since they expected it to take all day. About 3 weeks after our acceptance of the estimate, they really came through for us. The trees were in places that hindered further progress of our renovation, so V&E graciously tightened up their schedule to fit us in. It took them 3 hrs to take down 3 trees and trim back the Melaleuca, as well as grind down the Mulberry stump. They cut that wood into small manageable pieces and the pine into 12ft logs. I came by 2hrs later and they were already gone. I was amazed at how fast they worked and the job site and street was clean of ALL unwanted debris from the trees. Even our neighbors and the project manager for our renovation commented how fast they were. It was just - WOW! We were all very impressed. The final 2 stumps were grounded down today. V&E's staff from top to bottom has been completely professional and courteous throughout the whole process. They work clean and their crew knows how to hustle and get the job done safely and efficiently. I will always use them to maintain my trees in the future. THANK YOU V&E!!!

V&E Tree Service was very professional especially in dealing with a neighbor who did not want a tree on my property removed because it provided shade for her home and yard. The price to removal a giant eucalyptus tree and grind the stump was very reasonable.

Excellent to do business with. Honest, fair price, and exceptional service! Arrived on time, full crew had job done in no time. Had one tree removed, including the roots, three other trees trimmed and pruned and shaped beautifully. Cleanup was also done, no trimmings or mess left behind. Definitely would recommend without hesitation.

Although I opted to not have the tree trimmed, Vic was extremely informative and gracious. If I ever need a tree trimmed I will definitely call V&E.

I have never left a review before, but thought I needed to. We are having a little kids birthday party tomorrow morning, and saw a lot bees in our bushes today! I called the bee exterminators and they told me the bees were just pollinating the flowers and it was illegal to exterminate them. They said our best chance was to trim the big bushes way back. I called several tree places but no one had same day availability. Then I found V& E on Yelp and told them my situation and needed to have someone out here today. Though they were completely booked, they were very very helpful and gave me a great recommendation for another company. Bushes are now cut back, and the bees are flying away! What a load off my mind. Thank you V&E!

What everyone said. Came on the day and on time, did a great job with my over grown willow and orange tree. Cleaned up completely.
