V Lotus

An excellent Vietnamese dining experience that impressed us both in flavour and presentation. We started with a few appetizers, beautifully plated and thoughtfully presented. One of the highlights was the spoon-served appetizer, which was well seasoned, aromatic, and nicely balanced — crispy on the outside with good texture and flavour. The presentation was elegant and showed attention to detail. The pho was outstanding. The broth was clear, fragrant, and deeply flavourful, with good depth and balance. The beef was tender, and the noodles were cooked just right. Fresh herbs, lime, and condiments were served on the side, allowing you to customise the taste — exactly how good pho should be enjoyed. Overall, the food had a refined, modern bistro presentation while still staying true to authentic Vietnamese flavours. The ambience was warm, cozy, and stylish, making it a comfortable place for both casual dining and special occasions. Service was smooth and attentive throughout. Overall, a top-tier Vietnamese bistro with excellent food quality, beautiful presentation, and a welcoming atmosphere. A clear 5-star experience, and definitely a place worth returning to.

A hidden gym. This place opened up close to where I grew up and the experience was amazing. Took my mom here last night for dinner - she is typically very picky, but was super impressed with their Hanoi specialties. She raved about how the taste of the food brought back memories of her childhood in Vietnam, a taste she hadn't had since she left Vietnam as one of the Boat People in 1975. Our server was attentive, patient and kind. The decor and presentation of the food impeccable. We would like to thank the wait staff and kitchen for a memorable experience.

Nice environment and food is great!!! The decorations and paintings are really beautiful in the restaurant. Chatted with the server and he shared with me and my friend that the plates are from Vietnam, which is really cool to know. Also tried to-go and take out. They use good quality and firm paper bags.

EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!! The food was DELICIOUS!!! We ordered Pho, Eggrolls, and their Vietnamese Coffee and it was soooo good! The presentations of the food was amazing to watch. The servers were so nice, sweet, and checked on us. Will definitely be back and this is my new go to spot!!!!

The staff, location, the restaurant and ambiance are amazing, but the food fell short at least what I ordered I ordered brisket ramen and fried egg rolls and rated it 2/10. The Ramen tasted like straight Maruchan cup noodles. On a positive note, the complimentary crème brûlée was amazing

This place is hands down worth it and probably the best pho and Vietnamese food i’ve tried. The atmosphere itself is beautiful and the service was quite literally amazing! They have a pretty big variety of options to choose from as well and don’t even get me started on the dessert options! I would not second guess going to this place.

It was our first time here and the experience did not disappoint. One of the servers Kyla did a great job making sure my wife and I were taken care of. We had the Pho Tai along with the Chicken Spring Rolls and presentation as well as the taste was pretty impressive! Definitely will be coming back here again whenever we're in the area!

Highly recommended restaurant for everyone to visit. V Lotus is an upscale Vietnamese restaurant with a wide variety of fresh, delicious, flavorful and decorative dishes, peaceful and beautifully decorated atmosphere. You must try their delicious soft shell crabs, flavorful pho and mango tea. It is outstanding--each bite practically melted in your mouth. Friendly service and a complimentary bite-sized crème brûlée at the end made the experience even more special.

Excellent food. Well-seasoned vegetarian fare. There are several vegetarian options available. Meal portions could be a bit more generous, though. Desserts are amazing ! Ambiance is great. Atmosphere is soothing.

This is our second time here. Even though we don't live in the area and Asia Town is actually closer, we came out here for the great food and nice setting. The service was wonderful and servers constantly attentive. The spring rolls were my favorite and I had to have some of my wife's pho. I also had the VLotus vermicelli. They provided us complimentary creme brûlée. It was a wonderful meal. There are so many Vietnamese restaurants in Houston, but few that don't add msg and use fresh ingredients.

We were driving to Missouri City for a birthday party and wanted to grab a bite to each before the party. I found V Lotus by Yelping the best restaurants in the area! Restaurant was very modern, presentation was fantastic and the interior was so clean. Service was attentive and quick. We ordered the V Lotus Spring rolls and boy were these amazing! Everything was the perfect ratio inside the spring roll.. loved that it didn't contain a bunch of fillers and were very fresh! I honestly thought this place looked Americanized and less traditional due to aesthetics and the ingredient combination in the v lotus spring rolls but boy did they prove me wrong! It's not the traditional spring roll but everything worked well together and made a very good roll. We also ordered the tofu curry - more like a Thai coconut curry than a Vietnamese curry but amazing flavors. Tofu was tender, a bit soggy cause they soaked up the curry but I didn't mind. The lemongrass tofu vermicelli had the same tofu but they were grilled, with a bit of smokiness. The lemongrass sauce was saucy - I was expecting more of a dry lemongrass but it made a good tofu. The vermicelli soaked it up so I didn't think the dish needed the sauce, which also wasn't the traditional fish sauce. The desserts were equally as delicious, not traditional Vietnamese at all. You have a bay leaf panna cotta and a Thai mango sticky rice that was yummy and was a great end to an already delicious meal. I wish the sticky rice wasn't so dense and thick but the coconut sauce was yum! My friend liked it so much she said she would drive back to Missouri City just to come here!

The freshest Vietnamese food in town! Vietnamese iced coffee is so yum!! The staff is the BEST! We love coming here!

Amazing, delicious! Food is consistently amazing! We have dined there easily about 50 times or more and have never been disappointed. It's always an amazing experience! Highly recommend it- quality food!

Highly recommend coming here for dinner! Super cute date night spot too! We loved the ambiance and didn't seem like we were in SugarLand area. My husbands meal was some of the best beef! He had the shaking beef vermicelli bowl and the flavor was amazing! I had chicken/brisket fried rice and it was so good and fresh! Their mocktail night of passion was AMAZING! We were given a sample of their cream brûlée when we were paying and after tasting that, we will for sure be ordering it next time! Service is excellent and everyone is soo kind and attentive! Must come to try!!

Absolutely Delicious!! We had the Vietnamese Crab rolls, the soft shell crab, Vermicelli and Curry. Wow was it All Delicious and Fresh. Such a calming ambiance too!!

The food here is outstanding quality, service is second to none, and while the ambiance can be a little stale - it does a good job for a fine dining establishment that's inside a strip mall. The servers are all extremely attentive and friendly and the food is always fresh, tasty, and well prepared.

I don't know where to start to be honest, this place has really shown what small beginnings can lead too. For the first time walking in the whole place feels like a real 5 star business. The staff waiting at the front ready to seat you, very informative on what's good to eat and have great suggestions; so don't be afraid to ask them anything. Had two appetizers and they surprised me with brand new flavors. As soon as I finished round two came by and was swiftly transitioned, I had the Vlotus pho which was very enjoyable. The waiter would come around and always ask if anything was needed and over all a very kind man. For dessert I had the cream brûlée and it didn't disappoint, I took a Vietnamese coffee to go and loved it. Will definitely be back to enjoy the meals and the amazing service, do give this a try if in the area it will be worth every second of your time.

Vlotus One of the poshest looking Vietnamese restaurants I have been to in Houston, obviously priced also similarly, its worth the visit. We stumbled upon this place while looking for Pha in Sugarland and this popped up as the closest one. The look outside was neat , but its the inside that takes the cake- its just so warm, inviting and beautiful. They have a huge Vietnamese wall art that very subtly and artistically highlights a person under a lamp wearing the traditional straw hat, which, they sell on the premises for about $10 each. These hats are hung onto a staircase and I learned that its only decorative, the stairs don't lead to anywhere useful. They have a huge fish tank which you cannot miss, with diy sort of center pieces and menus with backlight, its a soothing feeling - get a wine , relax and just enjoy your meal. They do carry vegan enough options so thats good. We got the Pha and spring rolls, both tasted great and the presentation was awesome. If you don't order desert, they give you complimentary creame brûlée, thats sweet. The staff is very friendly and accommodative. Will be back.

i really love coming here. i've been back twice since the last time i left a review. the first time dining in again i ordered the vlotus spring rolls and the curry shrimp dish, it was delish. i was surprised and amazed to taste pineapple in the curry dish as i thought it was potato! lol. the service was great and the place was just as lovely as the first time. the second time back i ordered lotus spring rolls and coconut shrimp to go. so yum yum yum!!!

Plenty of parking and has been packed everytime we've went. This is a nicer Vietnamese place for dine-in, you have more of an ambiance (which also means it is a bit pricier than your typical Viet places. They have some fancy light up menus during dinner time, and service has been attentive. Pho broth is solid- I like the fact that they come to your table to pour the broth into the bowl right in front of you so it's still hot. Vermicelli bowl was ok. We tried the mango sticky rice and it was made really well and was good. What I always look forward to at the end of the meal is a complimentary spoon of cream brûlée, it's yummy - (a favorite dessert of mine!). Good solid Vietnamese place if you're in the area!

In addition to my previous recommendations: - the papaya salad was refreshing and delicious even though I don't like papaya normally! - the curry with tofu was really flavorful - I loved it!! By default it's not spicy (but you could probably ask them to make it spicy if that's what you like)

Starting with the Ambiance, such a vibe. Serene, and beautifully decorated. We came in close to closing but the service was still great. We did not feel rushed at all. The Menu is has a good variety of plates to choose from. We came in with Phó on our mind and I ended up having Curry Tofu. My boyfriend said the brisket was so delicious and tender. I did not plan on taking pictures so this one did no justice for my curry. But the sauce was so delicious! Towards the end our waiter brought out Cremè Brulee Spoons. The perfect amount for me. We will be coming back!

Absolutely yes to this restaurant! Food was amazing! We had a lunch menu, I'll be definitely coming back for dinner. It's very cute inside as well, and service was above and beyond!

I love me an aesthetic restaurant and in the past several years, the Sugar Land area has really been stepping it up. Located in Riverstone, this is a great spot for modern Vietnamese dining. And my favorite part? Complimentary bites of crème brûlée for dessert! My sister and I got the curry, which was surprisingly rich and velvety! Heavy enough to last you two meals!

Ok this place is AMAZING. The ambiance is beautiful, seating was very quick and service was fast. Our server was very sweet and helpful. They have so many different vegetarian options. The fresh spring rolls and eggs rolls were phenomenal especially slathered in the hot sauce, peanut sauce, and soy ginger sauce. Shaken tofu was my favorite thing that we ordered. Vegetarian pho was a little bland. Thai iced tea was sweeter than expected but good nevertheless. The tofu curry had some interesting favors and felt like it had some Indian notes but would order again for sure (maybe tell them to make it spicy) Come here if you want a relaxed vibe and GREAT FOOD.

Very disappointed in our most recent experience with V Lotus. We have been coming to restaurant since 2018 and something has absolutely changed the last few times. Tonight we had take out Pho Ga. One of our favorites. We got only 4 small pieces of chicken, half as many noodles as in the past and the cilantro was full of stems (see picture). These are not appetizing. Were they used as filler to replace the noodles? It was pretty bad.

What a nice experience, excellent service , tasty food and lovely ambience, portion size was reasonable.We ordered , spicy edamame, mango salad with shrimp topping (appetizers) , lemon grass tofu and curry tofu (entree) , fresh coconut and Vietnamese iced coffee . Later they served us with dessert (complimentary) and we loved it .Will be back soon to enjoy other dishes .

Amazing place to enjoy a decent pho. We ordered seafood pho and it was great. Kids ordered fried rice and finished it all. This is our go to spot.

I have driven by this place so many times and never stopped. Mad at myself for not dining in sooner. Service is top notch and the restaurant is so clean and well taken care of. Small details goes a long way with food prep and drink prep. I appreciate that a lot. The food and drinks are delicious. Ambiance and decor are so nice and inviting. Will be adding this into our routine. Egg roll vermicelli bowl was delicious. Spritz and Japanese beer are very refreshing. Dessert was great and the real deal Vietnamese coffee. Can't wait to try more dishes.

We just had our first meal - a long late lunch- and V Lotus lived up to the great reviews! The relaxing atmosphere, the cordial and very professional service, extensive menu and excellent wine list have secured this little bistro spot on our local faves list. We began with a few carafes of warm saki. I started with the Octopus, my husband had the Spring rolls. We then shared the Mango Salad, Grilled Eggplant and Chicken Curry - all three were excellent. We were too full for dessert but accepted the complmentary petite custards with crispy carmelized tops. Wonderful!. I finished with a decaf pour over coffee that was rich and nice. Everything about our visit here was so enjoyable and relaxing that we look forward to returning soon!

We love V Lotus! Best Vietnamese food, and so beautiful on the inside too! We love their table side pho where they pour hot soup in front of you, their fancy appetizers, and sweet creme brûlée spoons too! Their service is always friendly and it's pretty fast too so kids don't get impatient. It's one of our family's favorite places to dine at!

An underrated spot in Sugar Land. The ambiance is classy but not formal. The servers are really attentive and have great options to offer and know the menu really well. Their Pho, Bahn Mi, curry chicken are my favorites!

The service and atmosphere were great but the food was lacking authenticity. Flavors were not what we expected based on what the menu and atmosphere promised.

I'll start with what was good. The ambiance is really good. We've been here once before, and that is why we gave it a second chance. Service was a miss the last time because the waitress back then was new to the job, but it was good this time. We got the V Lotus Pho and Curry Chicken. The ingredients seemed fresh enough but the food was overall very bland. I used to live in San Jose,CA and have had really good pho. I've tried the V Lotus Pho here twice and it's been a disappointment both times. The Curry Chicken was too sweet and gelatinous. It's actually tragic that this restaurant gets all the things other than the taste right. I hope they address this urgently. Not coming back.

This place is always solid choice and has many options for all the picky-eaters in the family! They're very friendly to vegetarians and attentive to food allergies. The ambiance is great with lots of plants around. If you're going with kids, have them look in the plant pots (spoiler: there's little fishies swimming around in them!!)

We came during an off peak time for lunch, in the early afternoon. There were very little people inside and they were spaced out well. We decided to sit at one of the more enclosed booths. All of the staff were wearing masks, which lowered my anxiety a bit. This restaurant had a beautiful interior. I loved the play on the natural plants and flowers, brick walls, exposed pipes, and wooden tables. I didn't take a great picture of it, but the mural on their wall of everyday life in Vietnam was a nice touch. Now, on to the food! We ordered their veggie spring rolls and pork egg rolls as appetizers. The spring rolls were alright. They weren't that flavorful and the peanut sauce seemed diluted. However, the egg rolls were the bomb! Crispy and light rice paper wrapper. Umami pork and mushroom filling. Dipping the egg rolls into the fish sauce added even another layer of flavor. I will totally order these egg rolls again. We also got their iced Vietnamese coffee. It was quite sweet, but still strong. For the entree's, we ordered the lemongrass tofu vermicelli and veggie pho. The pho was ok. The broth was bland to me. But, that's maybe because I'm more used to a full bodied meat based broth. I wish they'd used mushroom to make this broth. I think it would've been more flavorful, IMO. The vermicelli dish was beautiful and delicious. It was a huge dish when it came to our table. I knew I couldn't eat it all in one sitting. But, I enjoyed the marinated tofu, stir fried veggies, fresh veggies, and vermicelli once I mixed all these components together. They even had a yummy dipping sauce that had soy sauce and vinegar in it. I didn't pour it all over my vermicelli this time. But, I think I'll do this next time. Overall, I think that we'll definitely be returning to try their other dishes...or I'll likely order their egg rolls and vermicelli dish again. Lol. They're so good. Come check them out.

Excellent food! The ingredients were fresh. We had the tofu balls and vegetable pho with vegan broth. The portions were generous. The restaurant is very nice looking. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

If you're looking for a nice dining experience kind of upscale this is the place to go a little pricey for what I got but it was pretty good. Service was great atmosphere was beautiful. They give complementary crème brûlée which was great. I would definitely go back there again but maybe on a date with my husband.

This restaurant serves the most beautiful and delicious Vietnamese vermicelli bowl we have ever had! It was such a pleasure talking with the owner. There's a beautiful mural on the wall of his grandmothers village. The restaurant is decorated in a very chic manner.

Pretty tasty and fresh. Each dish had its own unique flavor. Apps were delish, especially the artichokes. Yum!

I have ate here several times. Never disappointed. Everything we have tried was either great or outstanding. Eat here at least twice a month.
