V-NO @ The Harbor

Only had wine. Our service was top notch the music was relaxing and really enjoyable. Our server was great to talk with you definitely need to check this place out.

On June 6, 2025, my friend planned a birthday party for twenty people at V NO in National Harbor. Her experience was extremely disappointing. Initial Planning She met with the owner, Shaina Taylor, to arrange the event. They discussed a $500 package that was to include a tasting of three wines, and she confirmed that non-alcoholic options would be available for guests who don't drink alcohol. My friend also explicitly asked if she could bring in outside food, such as a cake and small bites, and Ms. Taylor gave her permission. The Day of the Event Upon arrival, Ms. Taylor stopped my friend and told her that no outside food was allowed, contradicting our prior agreement. She claimed it was due to a "county mandate" and that the establishment had food for sale. She only permitted my friend to bring in the cake. The problems continued during the party. Despite the venue not being busy, there were only one or two other small groups present, the staff seemed more interested in their cell phones than in doing their jobs. This was evident in their incredibly poor service. The only food available for purchase were four meatballs for $18, which was overpriced and insufficient. When her guests asked for menus or non-alcoholic beverages, the wait staff was rude and simply never returned. The “wine tasting” was also a letdown: for the $500 paid, guests only received three pours from the wait staff with no explanation of the wines. My friend tried to find Ms. Taylor to address these issues, but she was nowhere to be found. Final Thoughts My friend and her party guest, to include myself, were very disappointed with the entire experience. My friend felt that the $500 essentially paid for nothing more than the patio seating. She could have hosted a better event in her own backyard with food and drinks. Neither my friend nor any of the guest will ever go back to this establishment and strongly advise anyone planning an event to choose another location.

Hubby and I stumbled upon this gem by chance. We had such a great time. The wine tasting/selection was wonderful. The service was amazing. The manager even gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne! They also have the BEST flatbread. The atmosphere and decor was super chic! I’ll be headed back there today after my spa appt w/mom.

A beautiful wine bar with great selections. I love bubbles and the staff recommended an amazing champagne to try! Great patio to sit outside with friends and share a bottle. Cute date place, I'm pretty sure I saw a first date sharing their wine flights lol. The popcorn is delicious, they have some other finger foods available.

V-NO Wine Bar at National Harbor is the perfect laid-back, chill spot! Whether you’re planning a romantic couples’ night out or a fun girls’ night, this place has the right vibe. We even held a networking event here and everyone is still talking about the atmosphere here. The atmosphere is cozy yet stylish, and it’s the kind of spot where you can relax, sip on good wine, and enjoy great conversation. Highly recommend for a low-key but memorable evening!

We made a quick stop at National Harbor and had a couple of flights at V-NO. While the wine and prices were great, it was the bartender that made our experience enjoyable. She was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We asked questions about the establishment and the area and she provided us with a wealth of knowledgeable. The ambiance isn’t bad either, but the employee was top notch!

We booked this establishment for our family reunion banquet dinner. Our event was supposed to start at 6:00 pm and was pushed back to 6:30 due to a celebrity photo shoot. We arrived at 6:30 only to wait outside for almost two hours. We had several issues along with the wait that we expressed to the owner which were handled unprofessionally. Also, we were told that we were embarrassed because we could not meet the celebrity guest, Taraji Henson!! Wow!! Really??? We definitely would not recommend V-No Harbor to host any type of event!!!

The owner never addressed our family she came out and said " Thank you, thank you, thank you" and went back inside. When the setup of the food was complete someone from the staff opened the door and said the food was ready. We served our own food, when she told us there would be servers provided. She also provided dixie paper plates as our dinner plates. The bartender was extremely rude and got smart with a child when she told her she found the top to the ranch dressing on her plate. Shanna (the owner) also accused my family of taking 12 wine glasses. We prepaid for wine tickets for our family, the wine was mediocre. We tried to reach out and have a conversation about our experience and Shanna was rude and condescending and she still hasn't apologized for our event starting late. We love to support small businesses especially black owned and woman owned; however this establishment needs a course in customer service and professionalism because the owner was definitely intoxicated.

I don't know why this place wasn't packed on a Sunday afternoon. The only thing I can imagine is that not enough people know about it. Well, pull up a chair because I'm about to tell you about it. From the second I walked in, the ambiance was on point! '90s - 2000s R&B playing in the background of an absolutely gorgeous tasting room. The tasting room is full of personality, with all kinds of luxury-themed and wine-themed novelties adorning the space. There's a decent size bar with a pretty good selection of wines, as well as a couple of small tables as well as an outdoor terrace. If you are people watcher like me, you'll want a seat on the terrace. The tasting room has so much built-in personality that I imagine it would be a great place to host something like a bridal shower, birthday party, or some other equally fabulous event. Now let's get to the wines. If you are a sweet wine fan, then this place is for you. For around $20, you will receive about a 3 oz pour of three different kinds of wines. Ask the server about the different types of wine flights available for purchase. She really knows her stuff! Since it was hot outside, I opted for the white wine flight. The wines varied in both sweetness and flavor but overall I was impressed with each and every one of them. I think the passion fruit wine was my favorite out of all three... And it was really difficult to choose a favorite. When it's time to settle up, the restaurant provides you with a receipt that has a QR code which takes you to a website where you can pay and leave a tip. Of course, if you want to pay with your card, you're able to do that as well. This is a great place to meet up with friends, or to just enjoy some me-time alone on the terrace, watching the world go by.

This stylish wine bar is the ultimate vibe. It had sleek décor, a fantastic wine selection, and music that keeps the energy just right. Whether you're sipping reds, whites, or bubbles, it was all good. It's the perfect place to unwind, catch up, and enjoy a fun, classy night out with your girls. I haven't been to National Harbor for a while but I came out for an event and this spot is so cute! They have a great selection of wines and also offer a few slushee options for non wine drinkers. Since I was there for an event I purchased a flight and a flatbread pizza. As far as the food this is not the wine bar you want to show up super hungry just because the food options are minimal, but you're in National Harbor, plenty of food options all around. Come here for the wine! The sommeliers are great and really take the time to give you a great wine tasting experience complete with some wine education. Doc is the general manager there and he greets everyone and makes you feel welcome. It is a beautifully decorated space in a great location right across from Silver Diner and right down the street from the parking garage.

Nice spot especially in good weather, where you can sit outside and sip in style. Plenty of choices for the picky people. I had a nice Merlot-Malbec blend since they were out of the straight Malbec. This is a wine place so eat beforehand. Or after. Or both. I was stopping by "between meals". You even get a glimpse of the harbor if you focus your eyes really hard. It's walkable from most National Harbor locations (this is an inside joke for all you National Harborites that know everything is walkable in this pop-up town). The server was friendly and helpful, and it's a nice place to return again and again.

16,000 steps later, I finished a rather engaging and physically taxing Amazing Race event in National Harbor! At its end, my friend mentioned the new wine bar, and I remembered seeing it on my previous visit before it opened! Well it is open now, and we decided to stop in! In love with the decor, it's very inviting. There are a lot of floral notes to it, and the music is quite chill. The vibe screams summer, but I would be happy to drop by the place any time of year. My friend and I each got a wine flight -- my friend went with sweet wines, and I decided to go for the staff favorites. I love how when the flights are served, they left the bottles as well for informational purposes. I loved the pinot grigio and rose that I had! The red blend was good too, but not quite as refreshing as the others... guess it was because of the weather, haha! All the while, my friend and I shared some delicious truffle popcorn (they have light bites), listened to great music, and chatted with the super friendly staff. They also happened to be having a private launch party for their patio.... I'm looking forward to trying that out and exploring more of the menu in the near future. V-NO @ The Harbor is a great atmosphere I recommend this place. The wine is excellent my favorite is the popcorn. Delicious customer service brilliant perfect for a girls night out and date. I give this place five stars. PS make sure to take selfies in the restroom it's to die for

First time coming here and had really good service while sitting at the bar. It's a small wine bar but they have different flights to choose from as well as a variety of wines to choose from if you'd like to order a bottle or glass. I ordered the sweet flight and my husband ordered the red flight and a glass of Portuguese red wine.

Delicious wine and cheese. Staff was very friendly and the outdoor area was so nice on a sunny day!

We didn't eat any of the food here, as we stopped by after having dinner. We were warmly greeted upon our entry. The atmosphere is very relaxing, which is impressive considering the location. Nice menu selection of wines. I think that anyone who likes wine can find something that they will enjoy. You can purchase by the glass or the bottle. I think that my only "con" is the selection of music. I think that music as a background should be maybe more instrumental, along the lines of smooth jazz. Nothing against the artists who seemed to be on whatever playlist that the restaurant had, but in order to serve the diverse community of people and attract and retain customers, the music should be something that almost anyone can relax to.

They ran out of cheese plates but the server/bartender was super nice. They have a good variety for flights .

This is really what the National Harbor needed. Not only is it a wine bar, but its a black woman owned wine bar! I went in on a weekend afternoon and it was super vibey. Good music, good ambiance and great people. They have a large selection of wines and I really like their flight offerings as it allows you to try a few things. They honestly won me over with the slushy because like who doesn't love a good spiked slushy on a warm day?! They have a little patio area as well as a bar and some tables inside, definitely a cute spot to go with friends, a boo or solo.

Great place. Wine is fantastic. Learn while enjoying good wine. Wonderful atmosphere.

I was looking for a wine garden and or wine, focused restaurant/lounge and came across VNO. I am glad Apple Maps put this on my radar as I loved the decor, vibes, and wine. Soon as you walk in, you are greeted. I decided on the champagne flight and enjoyed how the bartender told me the difference about each one as he was pouring them. Will definitely be returning with a few of my girls !

I attended the Billecart - Salmon Champagne Tasting here yesterday and wow what a great event, at such a beautiful place. The inside of the wine bar is very beautiful and inviting, I was so glad that I came. They have a patio that is the perfect touch. What a great addition to the Harbor!

Stopped by on Sunday afternoon after finding this wine bar online. Did not order any food, but we did have a flight and then ordered a bottle. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. That afternoon, they were hosting a permanent jewelry pop-up by Linked. Their company's customer service was also excellent. I will definitely be back to enjoy more wine and try their small bites.

VNO is a great place to go after a long day at work to unwind before heading home. VNO is also nice place to socialize meet new people and introduce your pallet to new horizons. The owner will ask what do you normally sip on and the next thing you know she will introduce you into something different. I speak from my experience there I was a regular champagne and moscato, sipper, now I can honestly say my go to 202 Rose' .

Everything was amazing. The owners were very welcoming, definitely elevated our experience. The wine was delicious. I loved everything I tasted. That sparkling Malbec though. Get it. Sooooo good. The decor and ambiance are top notch. I would go back regularly if we lived closer.

We had a wonderful visit this evening! Kamryn was a treat and took great care of us. This is a must stop if you are looking for great wine, excellent service, and phenomenal people. Thank you for a great night!

When my friends and I entered, everything seemed promising. The ambiance is so cute. A group already there seemed to be having a great time, and the small group at the bar seemed to be receiving good service. Unfortunately the service for our table was incredibly slow. The food was underwhelming. We ordered a charcuterie board. When it didn't arrive after some time, we were told they were low on kitchen staff. We received the charcuterie, but "board" is a generous term. It's a snack box, with a cardboard bottom and plastic top. We ordered one, and were brought two snack boxes--not realizing that we'd then be charged for two charcuterie "boards". Even if they were low on kitchen staff... not sure why these refrigerated snack boxes took so long to make. Seeing how great some reviews are, I was really hoping to share that sentiment. Hopefully over time the staff learns to extend the service that groups receive at the bar to the remainder of the establishment.

I've visited the venue several times and registered as a member. After several attempts to contact regarding issues with not receiving my orders, I've received no follow up. I've sent emails, stopped by the venue and spoken with representatives but to no avail. Two months of charges as a wine membership patron and no product nor refund. I'm a proponent of minority owned businesses and would love to have a different review. I'm hoping to get a resolution and response to my issue.

A fun experience at the harbor, first date, nth date, you'll have a blast with all walks of people. Very social area and the wine selection is great. My partner and I bought a bottle of wine to enjoy by the water. We felt relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Looking forward to our next outing.

My friend and I stopped by after the ice cream festival because we wanted to support this black owned business. We met the owners daughter as we were walking in. She was very friendly and helpful. We sat down to purchase a glass of wine. The owner walked past us and she looked right at us.... For ten minutes without saying "hello" or "would you like to order". The servers serviced the same two groups that were sitting at the bar but they did not wait on us. I will never return. I hope everyone else has a better experience. We walked out since we weren't being acknowledged. Do better !!!!!! I added some photos of the inside. Update: 6/23.... It wasn't busy. There were only five people in the establishment including us. A simple "hello I will be with you in a few minutes" would have been courteous. That didn't happen.

Had a University of Bridgeport reunion wine tasting event and Vino At The Harbor, Shaina was a great Sommelier, offered a great experience and learned a lot about wines in the world. I HIGHLY recommend going to VINO for wine tasting and events!

The V in Vno is giving VIBES! Loved the decor, friendly staff, great service & of course the wine!!! The white wine flights & popcorn were my fave, would definitely recommend!

Had a magnificent time, everything was on point, the service, the wine, the popcorn, the food. The area is full with store to go shopping. The board walk is awesome. I will return when I'm in town

We celebrated my birthday at Vno at the Harbor and had a wonderful time. We reserved seating on outdoor patio and it was definitely a VIBE! We had a self guided wine tasting and the overall service was amazing. My favorite was the large charcuterie board and cinnamon bun cake (OMG delicious)! As for the wine, we really enjoyed Chloe and the South African Merlot, Aspect. If you are in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by and supporting this wine bar.

Back as promised! Mannnnn all the wines were so good! Nice fresh and crisp. I would say 13 Celsius could be number 1 but both of the Riesling's exceeded my expectations since it's not my favorite type of wine. But maybe I am Riesling drinker now!?!? If you don't know where to start, start with these selections!

I will NEVER come back to this establishment. The owner was beyond disrespectful and ruined the entire experience. She literally embarrassed my 12 yr old daughter for sitting in a seat while waiting for her parents to pay. I am appalled by her customer service and lack of apology when I tried to understand the issue. God don't bless no mess and while I would love to support black owned business, I will NEVER go here again

I would not recommend this place at all!!! The ambiance is nice but the igloo zipper kept getting stuck the server or the owner did not know how to operate it!! Their prices are to high. They flimflam the customer. I would not recommend Vno at the National Harbor.

They actually cut the straws in half for the wine slushy, which feels unsanitary and like the business is cost saving. The smoked salmon charcuterie board that comes out is not what one would necessarily expect. There was no board, there was a cardboard tray with chopped and unchopped vegetables, salmon pushed in the corner of the cardboard tray and a tin of salmon cream cheese. The flatbread tasted like a microwave pizza. We wanted to support the business but in good conscience couldn't go back. And the "event" was advertised as wine and RnB, so we expected live music. There was a speaker on the patio. I told our server that I liked one of the wines in my flight and might order a bottle to take home. The next thing we knew the server was at the table with an open bottle of the wine and three glasses. It's like her head was in the clouds. I advised her that I didn't order a bottle for the table and she stood there as if I would change my mind if she hesitated. Very odd behavior on the part of the server. "Might order a bottle to go" and "would like to order a bottle to stay" are very different. She also didn't know how to describe the items on the food menu. We were generous in adding 20% gratuities to our bills. 20% was not warranted.

The sparkling wine is DIVINE. Small plates are a scrumptious pair with the delectable wines. Do yourself a favor and get the RUM CAKE! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and caring. The location makes you want to spend all day chatting with your friends! We'll be back

The ambiance was amazing. The service was great. I was there for a bridal shower. The food was delicious and the wine and wine slushies were delicious! You can't go wrong here!

I was visiting from out of town and randomly fell upon this place while at the National Harbor. It was a pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly and helped me find my new favorite Sauvignon Blanc 13 Degrees. I also had the flat bread pizza that was amazing while relaxing on the patio outdoors. This business is black own so I am here to support. If you are in the area it is a must!

Beautiful atmosphere, amazing service, and yummy bites! The staff is knowledgeable about the wine collection and will ensure you get the best option for your taste. I enjoyed my afternoon there and I can't wait to visit again!

What an AMAZING wine bar! Beautiful decor, great vibes and energy. Excellent selection with top notch customer service. AND it's right on the water. Well done team V-NO. This is impressive.

Was having a wine tasting with my sister and ordered a flight. My sister ordered her own flight as well. The female owner came in and asked if her staff were " serving an alcoholic" based off of the amount of glasses I had in front of me. She then proceeded to say " I didn't know whether to call you a Uber or what!" But everyone knows when you order a flight it's multiple TASTINGS in one setting. I also informed the incompetent manager that my sister was in the bathroom and not all glasses belonged to me as her staff informed her as well. If she felt the need to Uber every customer that orders a flight then take it off the menu. Secondly I don't appreciate her reprimanding her staff about finances in front of customers ( which was just me and a plus one). 1 outta 10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Three key points: amazing atmosphere; fabulous wine; beautiful people - Shaina, Tasha, Rachel, AJ, and the rest of the team are simply wonderful. I was visiting from Seattle and am so glad I stopped in. Do not skip visiting V-No if you are in National Harbor!
