Dining experience at V Pizza It’s absolutely fantastic. The rustic pepperoni pizza was great and the chicken wings were absolutely amazing. It’s a very friendly atmosphere. All the employees work. There are absolutely fantastic to deal with. We love the kid, friendly atmosphere with the outside playground where they can run around and be Wild. The parents can enjoy a wonderful glass of wine or beer. Kenny, the general manager was absolutely hands-on serving us ice cream at the end. Total experience was absolutely Amazing. Kenny, thank you for running such a wonderful we plan on making this a weekly ordeal.

We frequent the V Pizza in Fleming Island and we thought we would try this location. Upon arrival, it was very slow, it was 4:30pm on a Thursday. We walked in and nobody greeted us or acknowledged our presence. We went to the unmanned register, then walked around to the bar, nobody there either. We walked up to a cook and asked where to order, she sent us back to the unmanned register. Someone happened to be clocking in, who said he works in the back, he said he would take our order, finally. All of staff was very nice when spoken to, but it would make a big difference if someone had said, "hello", "welcome to VPizza" or "we will be right with you". We sat outside, all of the tables were filthy, food particles all over the place. Clearly nobody is on cleaning duty. We went to the bar to order drinks and discovered it was beer and wine only. No full bar like the Fleming location. We got our pizza in good time considering no other patrons were there yet. The pizza was on point and equivalent in taste to their other location, displaying consistency in quality. The wings were very large, and the flavor was decent. The staff member that brought our wings needed room on the table so we cleared a pizza pan for her to take but she just walked away without it. Unusual. Overall, the outdoor area had a much better play area for the kids, the food was great, the only thing lacking was customer service. I wanted to remove 2 stars but my husband talked me into only one, please work on greeting people as they walk in.

I retired here from Connecticut The pizza capital of the world. My PT. recommended VPizza. Thin crust brick oven My grand nephew came down for his 7th birthday. I said. Sure why not V's. Kids love pizza at least he will be happy. The pizza was great. The wings were fantastic. Moist Service was great .They bought his Spiderman cake out with plates and a cake cutter. No charge.

We absolutely love V Pizza. It’s one of those places that just hits every time—great food, awesome drink selection, and super family-friendly. It’s our go-to spot when we want something easy but really good. The San Jose location is our favorite, hands down. But if you haven’t been there on a Monday, you’re missing out in a big way. Their burger and potato salad are seriously next level—like, way better than you’d expect from a pizza place. Juicy, flavorful, and just one of those meals you think about later in the week. If you’re looking for a chill spot with great food (and something both kids and adults will enjoy), this is it.

Me and my boyfriend were looking to try places in Jacksonville since we are here for the summer. We saw on TikTok of a lady talking about how good V's pizza is. We gave it a try and wow it did not disappoint. We were meet with wonderful staff at the front who answered any of our questions as well as explain how they do pizza with it being our first time. The food came out and it was incredible. We got the signature wings and a margarita pizza. I assume the manger brought over a Stromboli he wanted us to try with it being our first time and told us how much a good seller it was. Overall the atmosphere and the staff was amazing. We will definitely be back.

The Italian flag at the entrance of V Pizza is honestly the most authentic thing about the whole experience. It really sets the mood and gives you hope… which makes the disappointment inside even more impressive. Italy deserves an apology.

We had a wonderful experience hiring V Pizza and their pizza oven for a party. All I had to do was clean my house and they did everything else. Amanda,Trevor, Abbot, and bar tender, Stephanie, made our party a great success! The food was amazing and the presentation was very nice. Having a bar tender is such fun and Stephanie was outstanding! Everyone was very professional and friendly. It was a zero stress experience. I’ll definitely use them again and highly recommend!

The best pizza, wings, and overall experience in all of Jacksonville. Amazing for all ages and all outings. Great customer service and amazing bartenders. A big shoutout to Patrick for always being on his game. We look for any reason to bring our family here any day of the week.

Love Vs Pizza, this is the spot I like to come with friends and kids, they have a huge playground area for kids to run around and get dirty while we get to have some good food, beer and enjoy our time. This place is packed during dinner time on the weekends, sometimes the wait for food can be up to 40-50 minutes, but the food is amazing! We love getting the Carnivora, Mac Attack and Ala di Pollo pizzas, their Vs signature wings are to die for they are cooked in the stone oven and get charred just right! Their meatball appetizer is delish and their bruschetta appetizer with the flatbread are delish! Definitely a place to try if you want to have the closest ro Italian pizza you can get in Jax.

My recent visits to V Pizza Mandarin left much to be desired, despite their reputation for quality ingredients. On two separate occasions, I was met with disappointment as my pizzas arrived limp and sloppy, with the middle soaked through from the tomato sauce. The lack of crispness in the dough further detracted from the overall experience, leaving me feeling underwhelmed. Considering the hefty price tag of $50+ for two small pizzas and drinks, I expected much better quality. Unfortunately, the consistency of disappointment has led me to remove V Pizza Mandarin from my list of go-to eateries. It's a shame, as I had hoped for a more satisfying dining experience given their reputation. UPDATE: Thank you management for reaching out, I understand your Neapolitan style. The last two times were just awful, I've been coming to V for about 10 years. And your pizza has always been top notch till my last two visits.

V Pizza puts out the best wood fired pizza in Jax! Hubby and I have been to a couple of their other locations in San Marco and Palm Valley. We decided to give this location a try so we could check out their tap garden. I met hubby after work for beer, wings and pizza on a Friday night. He requested a table in the tap garden. With the live music out there, it was a total vibe! We ordered the v signature wings and a pizza with pepperoni and sausage. As usual, everything was amazing. The wings were flawlessly executed, tender and well seasoned. Our pizza was also very delicious. No shortage of meat or cheese, high quality ingredients, perfect wood fired crust. V pizza never disappoints. Every location has been consistently tasty every time!

Best Stromboli in the area! I'm never let down at VPizza! Great atmosphere and delicious food. If you are looking for a great experience, this is the place!

I love V's Pizza, I really do, however each location is unique and this location in Mandarin always lets me down. My recent visit was for take out, so I am not commenting on service or ambiance. I am just commenting on the food, or more specifically ....pizza. Pepperoni Pizza - pepperoni was good, but very lightly sauced and undercooked. Margarita Pizza - cheese, fresh basil, toppings were on point. The pizza itself was undercooked and the spices you get at other locations were just not there. While the dining room is light and airy, there are very few outside lights so the exterior signage is easy to miss. So look for the red V when you are in the area. But with well lit places like Picasso's and Bella Vista nearby, you may want to consider other options.

My wife was out of town and I wanted to treat myself to some pizza and wings. I knew they had a lot of taps so I decided I would sit a spell and try some while I waited for my food. I tried two sets of four, flights. I wanted to taste the beer and not get smashed. I'm glad they offer flights as I was able to limit my consumption but get a little taste. I didn't get a picture of the pizza, but I've attached the wings and one of the flights. As usual, the wings were awesome and so was the pizza. This place never disappoints.

I LOVE V's pizza, the food is always amazing. This week as my first time seating outside and it was the best, we came here on a friend's playdate so our littles could run around while we got to hang out. It is fenced in and there are signs everywhere telling you to be safe. The seating area is covered and a clear shot to see the play area which is great. We arrived closer to when they opened so they were not very busy and the food came out quickly. The staff have always been friendly when I have been there.

Already rated several months ago; still top three pizzas out of at least 40 In Jax area. From a NY 1'st Gen Italian native. They have 1k ovens & San Mariano's & very good Mutz. Price is somewhat reasonable.

READ THIS REVIEW------ Ok people! There's a new champion pizza in town!!!! Impressive menu with high quality toppings and luxury cheese and tomato options. (Most pizzas have shredded mozzarella base and buffala slices on top - awesome!) Great dessert options including tiramisu and gelato! (Rare in JAX) They Napalotano Italy style pizza, very thin crust and 'soupy' in the middle. Is a knife and fork pizza, not a pickup and hold style. (I ordered extra crispy.) Fini Pinot Grigio very good. 55 beers - great selection. I got the pepperoni and Italian sausage (crumbled Yea! My favorite!) First impression is totally awesome! Incredible. Crust edges are golden crispy, great flavor, perfect cheese to toppings ratio, pepperoni and Italian sausage flavors are superior and large cut toppings - a joy to eat. (It sounded so good I ordered it now, hot oil on the side is recommended.) Flyin' Hawaiian: Skip the hot oil - is very hot and in the throat (7 of 10). Will overpower all the delicate flavors of the pizza. Initial response, "Oh, wow! Home run!" Perfect balance. All the flavors and spices come through on their own. Out of this world good! Came here for family fun Friday! We really enjoyed ourselves. Loved that they had a play area for the children in the back. We ordered the wings in the signature and spicy. Both were really good and tender. We also ordered pizza and it was really good. We really like their crust! Can't wait to come back here!

Gotta be totally honest. The vibe at this place is good but the pizza really isn't. I've been here several times and the pizza is always extremely soggy. Not just a little soggy, a lot soggy. They have these big fired ovens and the pizza edges are fine, but the middle is always wet. The chicken wings and beers are good, and it's a great place to have a good time, but avoid the pizza.

Wow disappointed... sitting in the parking lot now at 8:10 waiting for our pizza to be ready that was supposed to be done by 7:49. I will definitely not order take out again. They need one associate to be manning the window and two cashiers when it's busy.

Service was stellar and extremely accommodating based on our arrival close to closing. The taste was OK but I've had a lot more tasty and well made pies.

Shame on me... I've been so stuck during my V Pizza visits on pizza (the best) and wings (the best), I've only tried a few other items, but never the Linguine and Meatballs... please forgive me... BUT... today was different... I was craving a nice pasta dish for lunch... So... I had Linguine and Meatballs and it was Magnifico!!! The pasta was perfectly cooked, the San Marzano tomato sauce was divine, with shredded mozzarella, and topped with Pecorino and fresh basil... oh my goodness...what a perfect dish... coming out of 900 degree ovens, the pasta was nice and hot and the homemade Meatballs were delicious, big, and nice and hot even in the center... there are other places where getting the internal temps done right is a problem, but with these beautiful wood fired ovens... and people who know what they are doing... that is not a problem here... I loved it. It was served with a big slice of beautiful Italian bread... With their expansive menu you have the option to go Italian even if pizza is not your desire for a meal... but when you do... the pizza is the best in town. And... so are the wings. It was hot outside and nice and cool inside and my craving was put to rest. I'd say that was simply a perfect lunch. Ciao!!

Not feeling the love that my fellow Yelpers are saying about V Pizza. Up in Jacksonville today hear nice things about V Pizza so was excited to try it since I was in JAX on San Jose Blvd. plus just saw the Facebook post and info about the weekly special- Ultimate Pie. Warmly welcomed when we arrived- very helpful staff as we reviewed their many options. Plenty of parking. Ordered a 10" lunch special- yep the "Ultimate Pie" with a couple of drinks and two house side salads. Side salads did not have much in the container - a couple of sliced cherry tomatoes and a small handful of greens. The salad and drink on my lunch special cost $1.25 & $2.20. Since we shared the pizza my wife was charged $6.50 for her salad and $2.50 for the drink. It's the least amount of salad I can remember getting anywhere. Pizza nice taste - good chew on the pizza dough maybe a bit overcooked. Interesting combination of ingredients. Just not feeling the love. It's a 3

Calzone was good but pizza wise..save your money. The pizza is pricey, small, and very soggy and limp. pizza sauce was too much. It wasn't any type of crispy and crust was very thin too. wont be back‍

Got the Calabrian wings and they were a little charred but nothing to crazy. Great flavor good back area for kids although very hectic.

We are transplants from California. So, we are first time visitors at this place and we were WOWed!!! Just amazed by this place. The pizza is so fresh and delicious I had to stop my husband from eating too fast so we can take photos. We've been in Italy a few times. No matter how long we stayed there, I always eat pasta and he always has pizza. This place just reminded us of Italy's comfort and delicious food. We are going to come back. We just found our favorite pizza place. BTW, shout-out to Andre for educating us of V Pizza's authenticity of ingredients.

Very pricey but great pizza. My son loved the margarita pizza, and I got the meat calzone, and wow, the ingredients were top notch!!! Great sauce too!

This place is the best! The food is amazing and the beer selection is one of the best in Jax. The customer service is outstanding, for example, there was track lighting that was directed to one of the TV's and it created a glare. Andrea jumped up on the bar and physically redirected the lights and the glare was gone. Outstanding...

Food was ok, pizza crust burnt. Hot as shit in there! Service was ok and loud as crap! I've tried a couple of times but won't go back! Get some A/C for goodness sake, we live in Florida!

I have been going to all the pizza locations in Jacksonville since 2018 and since I live closest to this location I started going here. Been here about four times now and it seems like it's ran by a bunch of teenagers. The pizza comes out bad and the wings come out terrible. Pink and oozing because they are not cooked enough.

I got the Italian Beef. It hit hard. I don't know if I was just hungry but it did hit. I don't give 5 stars but it deserved it.

Always very friendly attentive service. Food is made from quality, fresh ingredients hot out of the wood fired grill. We like the meatballs, bruschetta, wings and crispy salads. Great selection of beer and usually a cider in the menu.

Really yummy food, kind service, and a great atmosphere! A family favorite location for dinner. One of our friends used to play piano here on their patio. A great experience.

I can't believe i haven't I reviewed V's yet. Something must have been lost on the internet. Let's start with the most important thing. Community. These guys host BJCP home-brew competitions. I've been a judge here and they go out of their way to make the contestants and judges feel at home. There's a small fee for charity for the regular customers, but well worth it to sample all the creative recipes in the Jax area. Quite often there's a partnership with a local brewery and the local home-brew club (C.A.S.K.) to provide swag or extra help with judges for the contests. The contestants are usually happy to share their recipes, and even explain the brewing or kegging process to a newbie. What else? Hmm. Maybe the pizza? Save a couple bucks before 3 with their lunch specials. It's brick oven style with some great ingredients and "specialty" pies. There's always a weekly specialty pizza that's pretty creative. When they first opened, it was a little hit-or-miss on whether the cooks could control the fire. You'd get an occasional black-bottom crust, especially when they got busy. But they've learned their wood, fire, and masonry a little better by now, and train their new chefs better. So those dark days are mostly behind us. Get a flight of 4oz tasters. Or choose from a so-so selection of wine for the Mrs.. Yeah it's a tap house. And you've heard me cry before about how rare it is to find good wine in taphouses. If for some reason I find myself in a beer & pizza joint while I'm "low carb," first, I kick myself really hard. Then I order their calabrian chicken wings. Sometimes I'll tell then to go light on the sauce because it can be a bit much. Besides that or a so-so salad, not a ton of options. Kick. Finally, an interesting option is their Sunday brunch pizzas with egg on it. Scrambled, poached (Benedict). And things like bacon, breakfast sausage, and maple syrup to make for some fun combinations.

If you love pizza......check that....if you even just "like" pizza, then you won't be disappointed at all at V Pizza. It is impossible to order a bad pizza. The meatballs are incredible as well. Having said all of that, I must admit that the chicken wings are not even on my top 25 list of chicken wings. They are not crispy and, while they taste good, the texture is a major turnoff for me. BUT! The chicken pizza is great! Lastly, I cannot overlook the superior selection of draft beers! Advice: grab a seat at the bar, order your pizza from there, and sample some great beers!

The food was great and we had a great time. The place is perfect for large groups. We were in Town for a big soccer tournament. Our team met there after the game and 2 other teams had the same idea. The place had enough room for everybody and the food was coming out continuously. The kitchen was working hard!!! The kids loved the hangout outside and it was nice to relax and listen to music. Thanks for putting up with us. Wish we had one in Tallahassee.

Food was okay. Prices for pizza was very high and not great. The wings weren't what we like.

If you're looking for a big space, group hangout, live music, casual and fun restaurant that everyone will love, this is it. It's family friendly, and there's quite a lot of kids, but there's also a great craft beer menu and incredible pizzas and wings. Another popular crowd at this restaurant is the after-work happy hour crowd, and I can understand why. The only downside is the parking is pretty terrible! It's a narrow, mostly dirt parking lot with twists and turns, and unclear spots. Some people park nearby at a furniture store and walk.

Great for families, band, kids area to run and swing. Highly recommended . Food was very good great atmosphere

I love v pizza but won't ever, ever order Takeout again. If you order takeout, they will not prioritize you. I waited 40 minutes while people who ordered after me were already sitting down and eating. It's not worth it. Updated review to 1 star since the owner had the nerve to double down and excuse that behavior. I was literally standing there the entire time for 40 minutes straight. Never going to this location again.

We went back again today got the sangria, signature wings and a quadrifiglio pizza which basically a white cheese pizza we added mushrooms and spinach on it and our family ordered the pepperoni pizza well done with light on the sauce. Everyone left very happy and full. Sooo many things I want to try next time everything looked amazing. You will not be disappointed.

Great food and service, they have outdoor seating with a nice big patio in the back and don't allow dogs. What is that. Why would they not allow for people to sit outside with their animals. Makes no sense at all!

Great food. Great service. It can be a bit crowded and loud, but that comes along with great food. The pizza is unique. Wood fired ovens and great ingredients make for awesome food.

Ahhhh the good old local watering hole.... Our family loves V's! You can find us there every Wednesday night for trivia night! The trivia hosts and bartenders really keep us coming back! We love trying a new pizza each week, one of our favorites being the Flying Hawaiian on cauliflower crust. Their wings are to die for- we always order all flats for only $.50 more and we get them extra well done. Happy hour is until 7 which gets you $1 off local beers. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Downside- parking is tight! We oftentimes have to park down the street at Ace Hardware & walk over. It's ok though, the food is so worth it!

Went for lunch with a coworker and ordered the lunch special for that week and it was absolutely delicious, but I don't see that pizza on their takeout menu. I thought the place had a great vibe loved the outside eating area in the back and the bar was cool. Would love to go back in the evening.

Place was busy when I got there but I was able to skip into a seat at the bar and the bartender Patrick was right there with a suggestion of their newest IPA on tap. He suggested a couple of dinner items but I couldn't resist a Crying Hawaiian Pizza. I added a couple of extras that he suggested that I would never order again without. I was able to enjoy the game that was on with multiple big screens and was able to even get the sound turned up. As I was by myself Patrick even made sure to Introduce me to others he knew at the bar. Super friendly Super fun.

Soggy Salad and and nasty Pizza... not to mention (but I will) the Sour Tea. Yuck! People in Mandarin must have low expectations seeing how this place is still in Biz..

Excellent wood fired pizzas. Fresh ingredients that are not from the bottom shelf at a toppings bargain bin. These are top shelf ingredients prepared by experts in specially made wood fired ovens. If you order the wings you're "wing eating life" will be fulfilled. My favorite ones are the V Signature however you can't go wrong here. Now top it all off with one of the best beer selections (tap or bottled/canned) and you have a new weekly (if not more) spot to go to. Come thirsty and with a growler as they will can or fill up with your favorite brew. Grab a Karate in the Garage (NE IPA-Simcoe and Mosaic Cryo Hop) and you are living my dream dinner with or without the fam. Speaking of fam there is an extensive playground right outside so you can distract the kids while you sample a couple of rounds. Service is also worth mentioning as great I just didn't know where to add here without writing a novel. Quick, courteous, and attentive rare to have all the above these days.

Pretty good pizza and calzones. Not quite New York quality, but better than most in this area
